Do not like it, no my kind of Mexican restaurant. ............. Pretty expensive for what you get

The food is good but it's pretty expensive for what you get. You could go to chipotle and get a lot more food for the same price or less.

The taste is really good. The performance needs some work, but overall really good.

I have been here many times. It is right up the street from where I work sometimes. Very nice. No complaints. I have met the owners and they were very nice. The food is good. Plentiful, hot, tasty. Had a great conversation about how soil types affect the flavor of cilantro with the cook one night. I will continue to frequent this place. I usually have a quesadilla and they always fill it full of goodies.

Its crazy that anyone would come here when there's Roburrito's down the street. The few times I've been, the tortillas were stale, chips obviously just out of a bag, food tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer for hours. Honestly i'd rather go to taco bell

I happened to be visiting York College of PA for a climbing competition today and when my three friends and I were all starving before preparing for the snowy drive home, this little spot was waiting right across the street! It seemed as if only the owner and her mother were working, the mother only peeking out from the back of the house. I don't think they spoke English very well but the lady taking orders stood by with a quiet smile as we gave our orders and then she handled them all herself. Azteca was essentially a small-town, homey Chipotle. They decor was really cute and Hispanic inspired, the food (I had a chicken quesadilla) hit the spot! Also, huge plus that they had bottled, Mexican Coke- can't beat that real sugar instead of the corn syrup! If I went to York, I'd be here all the time!

I've been here many times and have always been pleased. Always fresh ingredients made to your liking right in front of you. The perfect mix of authentic Mexican food and the classic SoCal burrito shop.

Their burritos are the best in York! Quesadillas are awesome too! You can see the ladies preparing and cooking the food fresh everyday! Love this place!

Strike one, they do not make their own tortillas. Strike two, they heat the tortillas in a press like the one used at Chipolte. Strike three, small portions for the price although this could be a positive because the food is not very good. This is not authentic Mexican food or even Tex Mex. The food quality is poor and prices aren't very good. My advice is to go to Chipolte rather than here.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
