I stopped by this place thinking it would be safe to order some simple dishes for dinner. We ordered lemon grass chicken, only to get dried out chicken jerky. It was sinful what they did to that chicken. I suspect that the chicken they served was cooked that morning or the day before. I asked the server if the cook could redo the chicken, they brought me back the same chicken batch in less than 2 minutes(microwave to reheat) . The service was poor and the cook should be sent to jail for they do. Shame on them for passing this for food. If you like dog jerky, this is definitely the place for you.

My wife and I decided to try this Vietnamese restaurant in Sherwood recently. It was a Sunday later afternoon. We entered and found 3 other customers. We were told upon entering to find table of our own choice. We selected a booth along the wall. Our waiter promptly brought us the menus. We are vegetarian so we started looking at our options. The select of menu options seems reasonable if you eat meat. But as we looked over the entire menu we soon found they only offer four dishes that are vegetarian. When our waiter came to take our order his ability to communicate was not good at all. I'm not sure if he couldn't understand english or what the problem was. We informed him we were vegetarian and asked for advice. he wasn't able to provide any at first. I asked if any of the soups could be made with tofu instead of meat and if they all had beef/chicken broth? After much frustration trying to get him to understand our question, he was finally able to indicate that they all had meat and no tofu options except for the 4 dishes previously discovered by us. I asked what he recommended and he suggested the spring roll noodle dish. I asked how much the Thai Tea was and if it was an iced tea. I asked him again and he indicated 3.25. That is about a dollar more than any Thai restaurant so I told him I didn't want it. When he asked for clarification on what I was ordering I told him again I didn't want any Thai tea. Later it was still listed on the receipt at payment time and I nearly paid the bill with it but my wife caught the mistake and challenged them on it. My wife ordered the spring roll noodle dish and I the yellow curry dish. We were brought water glasses and tea. Now the tea was supposed to be hot but we felt the metal pot and it was cool. When we tasted the tea it was warm but not hot. When our dishes arrived in a reasonable amount of time the serving were in large bowls... I mean very large bowls. Their serving sizes are very large so you should not go hungry when you leave... if you eat it all. The spring rolls were awful. The rest of the noodle dish was fairly blah and just lots of noodles with a little hidden debris towards the bottom that was a little hard to find....cucumbers, etc. It came with a soy based sauce to put on it but my wife said it had some strange flavoring in it that was not good to her. The yellow curry was actually quite tasty. It has huge carrot and potato chunks. The curry was more a soup than a curry, which is fine. I was expecting more like a Thai curry which is thicker (not better or worse, just different). The dish also came with rice which I enjoyed. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to put the soupy curry over the rice, put some rice in the soup, or just eat them separately. I chose to spoon the curry soup and huge chunks over the rice. I enjoyed the flavor of this dish. If I were to go back this is what I would get again. However the air temp was cold. They played horrible elevator music loud enough to be more than background music. You felt like you were shopping in a grocery store. The décor was neither asian nor American per se, nothing inspired, trendy or authentic. The environment was clean, just not for us. I can't speak for their meat based dishes on the menu, but if you are vegetarian I wouldn't recommend this place. If you're ok with cooler temps, a waiter that struggles to understand you, and elevator music, it may work out for you. We won't be back.

The service was great, our waitress was friendly and quick with our food and refills. However the food was just okay. We had the shrimp spring rolls as a starter and they tasted a bit funky, I couldn't finish mine. The Pho looked like Pho is supposed to but tasted a bit blah. I don't think i'll be going back.

I hate to write such a bad review about Pho Ty... When they first opened my wife and I found them and absolutely loved the food. It was amazing! Unfortunately it is NOT the same quality by a long shot. The food is not good. It all smells and tast like fish/shrimp, not sure if they are cooking everything in the same pots and pans.. I specifically asked for fried rice for my kids with out shrimp, and of course it had tons of shrimp in it. The Pork Egg rolls smelled like they where fried in bad fish oil. ALL SHRIMP WE ORDERED WAS UNCLEANED. The poop track was left in. I pointed this out to the waiter, who just said.. "oh.. sorry" didn't bother to offer to remake it, or discount it. Food: 1 Star Service: 2 stars ( as the waiter was pleasant, just not helpful) Ambiance: 1 star (things are just dirty in the restaurant. They have a fish tank that doesn't look like its ever been cleaned, and all the fish look extremely unhealthy) Price: 1 start, Way to expensive for the quality of food. I hope this place returns to the quality when they first opened, but we will never go back.

Driving home from the coast one day, I was shocked to see the word "Pho" out of the corner of my eye in an unassuming strip mall in the drive-through-me town of Sherwood (Sorry Sherwood-ers). I figured I was seeing things, and kind of kicked myself for pulling over at the light and turning into the parking lot to do a drive-by. I am so glad I did! Pho Ty has great pho and makes all of my trips along 18 worthwhile. Their broth is rich, the condiments plentiful, the servings appropriate, and the tea free-flowing. Everything you could want in a pho place. Except outside of town and conveniently right around when you're really hungry on the way home from the coast or casino or whatever.

Worst Pad Thai ever. Gummy noodles, tasteless chicken and a very unappetizing presentation. The carrots were thinly sliced, burnt and dried out. No peanut sauce and very skimpy on the chicken and shrimp. To top it off it was overpriced. Hard to imagine finding a poorer meal. It's pushing it to even give this restaurant one star. Perhaps other dishes were better but this is listed in their menu as a "specialty". Is that code for "don't bother"?

I got the vermicelli with pork. It had so much lemon grass in it that it tasted like soap.

I live in Sherwood and it is nice to get a good bowl of Beef Noodle soup without having to travel to Beaverton or SE Portland. Highly reccomend eat in or take out.

It kills me that I have lived in Sherwood for 14 years and did not even notice this place until now. Decor was basic but comfortable, basic noodle bar type of set-up. Summer Rolls there were great with a peanut sauce for dipping. I had Pad Thai and it was great. an overall huge meal for 3 was reasonable at around $38. Service was good and quick. No glasses were ever empty. Plenty of sauces served with the other meals to make it fun to try different things with them. Give it a try. This is now a new favorite.

Pho Ty is a rare Gem in this part of the world. There was a review posted here by Bruce H. Now I'm not saying that being a vegetarian turns you in to a wuss and a cry baby, but maybe it was his "time of the month" ,I have never had a bad experience at Pho Ty. I live a few short miles from this restaurant and consider myself a regular. I have never had a problem communicating with the staff, maybe if some people would leave their "holier than thou" attitudes in the gutter where it belongs they would get better service. The menu has a great selection and the portions are a real deal considering the trend of getting less for more. Pho Ty now has bubble tea, a real treat if you need a tasty drink that is a pure Asian delicacy. I have taken many family members here and all have had a most excellent time. Five Stars!!!!!

This Pho restaurant was surprising good for what I expected. I ordered the typical Pho noodle bowl and the broth had several layers of some extra spices that gave it a wonderful zing to it. Also the broth was a bit sweeter than most Pho places that I have been too but was very complementary to the whole taste. The meat quantity was ample and the noodles had a nice texture to it. Also they had 3 sizes for the noodle bowls instead of the usual two sizes, which is always welcome. On top of that, they had available several different sauces at the table side, which were all very good and fresh. The restaurant was clean and orderly, and the wait person was very pleasant and accommodating. Others in my party ordered different Pho noodle dishes and all were very pleased with their choice. We did order some fried chicken wings which was overcooked, and the fried chicken legs with the soup orders were also overcooked (very dry). So in summary, a good choice for Pho noodle soup. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if the fried chicken was better, but otherwise very tasty.

Was not impressed. Service was good, food was not. I've eaten at a lot of places that probably would not be considered "hospital clean" by any means, but when I grab the soy sauce or hot sauce and my hand sticks to it like there is pine tar on it,,,, it ruins it for me a tad. I will not be back.

I'm sorry, but after eating lots of Pho' over the last 20+ years, I found the quality of this soup was low. It was not all that flavorful and besides that, I have never had cinnamon spiced broth. The young lady server was unconcerned that I had a problem with it. Save your money and go else where.

The pho here is very good, portions are big and the meats cooked perfectly. Broth is flavorful not overly salty and slightly sweet. I love pho and the broth here is pretty tops. Egg rolls are ok, not the best here. But the bubble here tea is excellent and we always get one when we're here. Considering what a barren waste land of food it is in Sherwood, this is a great welcomed bit of ethnic food here. I've been here about 30x in past 2 years, it's very good.

Hands down the worst pho ever. I've eaten pho in a lot of places, and this was the one and only time I thought it was terrible. The meat tasted like it was well past it's prime, and I only ate one piece of it and in spite of being very hungry a small amount of pho, which incidentally did not come with any cilantro or culantro. The waitress was so rude that I couldn't bring myself to tip decently- and I worked in the industry for many years and always can find a reason for more than a minimal tip. Normally I over tip, but not this time. We ordered some boba and the tapioca was a big mass of broken down slime in the bottom of the cup instead of individual tapiocas. When I couldn't get any in my straw, I got my fork in there and pulled up what looked like a 3" long lumpy black booger. It was disgusting! My friends threw up after dinner. I only ate the pho, so I'm guessing it was the lemongrass chicken. I feel a tad queasy today, so I'm hoping it's not from the boba or the meat in the soup last night. Worst restaurant experience I've had in many years.

Dirty dining? Kitchen Nightmares? Watered down Sirachi sauce? Really? Where else are they skimping? All I gotta say is check out the fish tank in the back and then try and guess what the kitchen looks like.
