Oh, Pee Wee, how I miss thee. I have lost count of the number of meals Pee Wee cooked for me when I lived in Gallup. I am headed back soon, and my first stop will be for one of her hand made CINNAMON ROLLS - about the size of a catcher's mitt. Nothing exotic, just good home cooking by one fabulous lady. PS...get there early if you want that cinnamon roll. She always sells out within minutes of opening.

I love this place. Their menu items are original & it taste good. The atmosphere is comfortable & neo-New Mexican style. There's free wifi.
What a find! Having seen the grimy McDonalds in the Gallup Walmart, my hopes for a decent, fast meal in Gallup were low. We found Camille's on Yelp and, despite the low number of reviews tried it. What we found is a very well decorated and very clean place. Service was fast and our food was ready nearly by the time we finished paying. Our sandwich and wrap were excellent, with fresh chips and salsa. Eat here in Gallup!
Just an awesome little cafe, very clean, nice decor, service was great, food spectacular. Fast and freshly made. My husband ordered the ham and Swiss and I ordered the chef salad, both were very good!

I was on a road trip out west and I stopped here with my mom. We got the spicy turkey sandwich and we got donuts, an apple fritter, and the carrot cake. The sandwich, donuts, and apple fritter were incredible and the carrot cake was not the best I've had. Take the time out of your drive to stop here rather than a fast food restaurant. Interesting ambiance and good service.
Thank you YELP for showing us this place! So much better than Subway and traditional "road trip" food. As other reviews said- the outside is a little sketchy- but inside is clean and food is fresh. The 6" was more like a 9" - definitely filling!
We had warmed up sandwiches and the apple fritters. The bread is made there and the donuts are only 60 cents. The food was so delicious and the service is warm and kind

Excellent burgers! Very flavorful and you can choose from 1/4, 1/2 or one pound patties with choice of cheese. The fixings are on the side, so you can add to your liking. The fries were crispy and quite tasty. The kids selection is good and they are more than generous with the portions. I was concerned when I saw the drinks offered only one refill (after a long drive), but they are huge and you only need a refill, if that. Staff is friendly and courteous. A nice stop if you're passing through and easy to access off the freeway. We stopped for lunch on the way and coming back from our destination. Great place for a great bite to eat.
Excellent food! It was Sunday and the place was busy, busy! I had a burger and I loved it. Service was excellent and the food came quickly. My husband had a breakfast burrito which he liked too. Will be back again when we pass through.
This is a great example of a local diner with excellent food. Don't let the overgrown shrubs and dilapidated exterior fool you. This is not fine dining but we enjoyed the menu of traditional American dishes and Mexican. The salsa was probably the best I've ever had. Even the side items of the rice and beans were different and very tasty. Interior was dated, but clean.

One of the beat chimichangas i have had in a while.! Service was great and on time. I recommend it to amyone.
First visit and was not disappointed!! Delicious food. Went at a not so busy time, seems very local with people all knowing one another. Carry out seems to be an option. Friendly waitress. They serve you chips and salsa upon sitting down. Menu is majority Mexican food with a few local favorites such as Navajo Tacos. Speed of service was good. Food was fresh and proportion was large. Items were authentic and fresh. Tortillas and sopapilla's were freshly made. Great visit, definitely returning soon!
Very small dining area, but a nice "small town" feel. Pretty good food, delicious salsa. I had the grandma's burger, my husband had a bean and beef burrito. Mine was good, he said his was all right.

I love the live music, and the service. I'm excited about the new hummus platter with house-made hummus, because the veg options used to be really limited.
Great place to hang out and get a drink with friends or take a rest if driving through Gallup. Decorations vary from sports teams to photos of local native culture to "cafe" decorations.
I love it. All of it. From the peach mango iced tea to the ceasar chicken salad, it is delicious. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly tender, this salad is awesome. The soup, I scraped the bottom of my bowl to get the very last of it. Even the art gallery upstairs is a perfect compliment to the food and I haven't even sampled the coffee yet! This place is a must try. You haven't experienced Gallup until give eaten at Angela's Cafe.

Great southwest chicken sandwich, & the tzatsiki on the med chicken sandwich was awesome!
Great coffee and pleasant experience overall. After all, isn't that what a"coffee house" is all about. Robert was very hospitable and there was no line!
Great vibe, free wifi, lots of board games, and nice drinks. Great place to get work done or hang out with folks. The one sandwich they have - tch - was really tasty too. Four stars only because I'd love to see more food options and the service can be pretty slow sometimes. Otherwise great though!

I live outside of Gallup (Yay) about 15 miles, and always stop here to eat when I can. Carne Adovada is the best I've had in any local restaurant! Even though spicy food does not treat me well, the taste of the Carne is so good, I can't deny myself! Highly recommended!
I should have been worried when we walked in to a place with decor reminiscent of a Chinese restaurant and a menu that served a "specialty" from about every continent but China. Upon perusing the menu, one would believe that the cook decided sesame chicken wasn't going to take in Gallup so he would start serving a "Ching's chimichanga." Me and my friend ordered carne Adovada. The red chili was nice and thick with some bold heat and flavor. That's about where the Mexican bandwagon wheels fell off. My friends first words about the dish was something along the lines of "bleeeeeehhhhh" with a wrinkled nose. I think we each got 10 nibletts of some boiled - not even close to simmered - rubbery pork. No flavor. Garnished with the typical iceberg lettuce and mediocre tomatoes. Chips and salsa served with the meal, but the chips were from a bag. Salsa was fresco style with good heat. My other partner ordered a tuna melt. He said it should be hard to mess up a tuna melt, but he was glad he didn't bother to take a picture for his own review. Next time I am dining on this part of town, I think I will move on to something else.
I'm not quite sure how this restaurant is able to be labeled as 'Mexican'; the menu had food from every continent, very little of which was anything remotely similar to mexican or new mexican style. I ordered a margarita (which was a shade of yellow-green that may have glowed in the dark), the nachos were cold, and the red chili sauce was bland and tasted like it was just poured out of a can. I was expecting a home cooked flavor and was very disappointed. I feel bad leaving a 2 star rating because the service was great, but the food was terrible.

I love this place! My wife and I stopped for breakfast on the way through Gallup, NM. The food was great: great taste, well prepared, good quality, home-style, and authentic (from my experience). The staff was warm and friendly and they made us feel very welcome. (Our waitress filled our big travel coffee mugs at no cost and also our water containers). I could just tell from the vibe of the place that the people there enjoy working there and that it is a community gem. (The Mexican radio in the kitchen, the cook singing and calling out, the local police eating breakfast, other travelers chatting with each other). I wish this place lots of business because they deserve it!
This may be my new favorite Sunday brunch place in Gallup. To begin with, it's open on Sundays, which most local places aren't. BOTH the red and green are vegetarian, so two thumbs up. The red is better than the green. The hash browns are EXCELLENT. The beans have actual flavor and aren't gray. I was a little disappointed that the egg on top of my enchiladas was over easy instead of over medium, but otherwise, everything delicious. The free salsa is hot and a little cucumbery for my taste, but otherwise excellent. I also really dig the old diner vibe.
On our way to las Vegas Nevada to a hair show we stopped here and were blown away by the food. Spotless restrooms. This lady was cleaning the whole time we were there.. so on our way back we stopped again ate and got food to go... five stars all day.. AMAZING
