I like Qdoba! The giant burritos are good, but I always get the chicken quesadilla and an order of the queso and chips. The chips come with this lime salt on them and it's amazing.

For fast food Tex-Mex you could do a LOT worse. I prefer this place to Chipotle. I usually either get crispy tacos with shredded beef or I get their chicken queso burrito. The fiery habanero salsa is really not as hot as it sounds, so give it a try. The three-cheese queso is very tasty and is pretty much good on everything. They seem to really struggle with getting the lettuce into the taco shells. I usually get to my table and find the lettuce all over the basket but not in the taco shells. I always tell them to go easy on the beans and rice when ordering a burrito. If you don't they use them as cheap filler and your burrito will be 80% beans and rice. I'm not a fan of that. I do wish they'd add refried beans and shredded cheddar cheese to the choices of things you can put on your entrée. They have one of those "Coca-Cola Freestyle" machines. The nice thing about that is the huge selection of beverages. The annoying thing about it is waiting in line behind indecisive and ignorant users. They do fresh brew their iced tea and it is good, but you have to wait in line at the Coke machine to get ice.

I have an equal liking for Chipotle and Qdoba. I'm just saying that right off the bat so I don't come across as biased. However, this location in particular seems to put much smaller amounts of each ingredient than your average Qdoba. I'd recommend just going to Chipotle or finding another Qdoba

Not the best experience. I told her lettuce and cheese. And she just went ahead and threw on sour cream and tomatoes when I never said a word about getting either of those. so then what does she do, wipe it off with a napkin and now I have sour cream and tomatoes all on my burrito. Wonderful. They also really good into suckering you into getting BBQ or queso. Which is like another dollar more for maybe a tablespoon worth, so I asked for queso which is not enough for a dollar in my mind, And they won't warn you like chipotle does with extra charges they just give you a nice $9.50 charge when they ring you up. My suggestion. Unless you know or have to have BBQ or queso it's not worth the extra $1+ and if you're military or have a id, you can get either 10% off your meal or a free drink. I won't be returning but if you want to just please keep these things in mind. Have a wonderful day!

This was my second visit to Qdoba, the first to this location. I guess this review is more like 3.5 stars, but I tend to round up with my stars. I had the shredded pork nachos, while my other half had the chicken quesadilla. I suppose that the most logical thing to order at this place is a burrito, but I would much rather eat cheesy tortilla chips any day than a burrito. The nachos were good, but the lady at the counter made no effort to drain the beans or the meat, so I had to cram my food into my mouth and the speed of light to prevent having soggy tortilla chips. Next time I will definitely ask for them to drain these items well. The chicken quesadilla looked good and had plenty of cheese. I had both the green salsa and the hottest salsa that they offer. I wish I could get the flavor of the green salsa with the heat of the red. Now that would be perfection. Overall, this place was good. Unfortunately, the lady who was making the food spoke limited English, so communication was a bit touch and go. I am completely willing to deal with a language barrier if I am getting some authentic Mexican food, however at a chain restaurant I strongly dislike having this problem. On the positive side though, the lady was very friendly. For the type, and amount, of food that you get here I just can't help but to feel it is a wee bit overpriced. If every thing was priced at a dollar or two less I would feel better about it. This is essentially fast food after all.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
