This was my first visit to a Green Mill and I have to admit I was quite impressed. I turned up around lunch and was seated immediately. No waiting at all. Almost as son as I sat our server got us drinks, gave us our menus told us the daily specials. It was nothing too much but just nice and simple service. We had appetizers which came out nice and quick and tasted great. We had the Caesar salad and garlic bread. Both were nice and decent portion sizes to share. The mains came and were just as good. Nice and flavorful and good temperatures. Couldn't complain. The best thing was the customer service though, I can't remember our servers name but she was very helpful, friendly and personable. She showed genuine interest in making sure our meal was good. I would have given her 5*

We stopped in here while shopping. Haven't been to a Green Mill in a very long time and I forgot how tasty some of their menu items were. This one was busy with holiday shoppers but we found seats at the bar as usual. I have a feeling this one gets a little more attention from the corporate office with such a built in customer base. There are only a few restaurants actually inside the building and I think this one has the most TVs. For the most part, we stay away from the pizza since there are much better pizza joints out there but the rest of their menu is quite good.

This GreenMill is no longer my favorite. The last three visits have been very disappointing. Their pizza is still my favorite, but the service has gone downhill. It seems we always get seated in the bar where its very noisy and seems to be a hangout for all their employees. The manager, if that's what she is did not check on even one table. Next time I will drive up to the Shoreview location and give them a try.

My friend and I had lunch here yesterday and we were impressed by how fresh our salads were! We gobbled up every bite; he had the cobb and I had the spinach and pecan with chicken added. Service was above average. I'm knocking off a star due to the price and cleanliness - both not terrible but not outstanding.

Ordinarily these type of big box places aren't very good. This restaurant at Rosedale is an exception. Go on a weeknight when there aren't many people around, and you'll get very good service and pretty damn good food. Their thin and crispy pizzas are outstanding; there seem to be four available at a time and they do change. The rest of the menu is surprisingly good and a decent value. Green Mill has definitely improved.

Met a group for lunch, it was a decent experience. I don't know what you can say about chain restaurant experiences. My friend and I weren't all that hungry so we just grabbed the Buschetta appetizer, which was delicious and fairly big. We had trouble finishing it. The service was really good our waiter was very nice and attentive even though I think it was the first large group he had ever had (seemed a little nervous), and the food was good.

It's a boring suburban place but with good food. Good deep dish especially te spicy chicken. Great fired green beans. It's Roseville, if you want trendy and innovative, the suburbs aren't te pace to look.

Food is awesome, I don't think you can get boneless wings like that anywhere. Service has always been decent. Nice layout at the bar, it's very inviting.

You pretty much can't go wrong with any location of Green Mill. If nothing else, they are always consistent. My son and I needed to buy some time waiting for an appointment and had the $8.99 Ultimate Thin Crust Sausage and Pepperoni. Perfect for lunch for the 2 of us.

Do yourself a favor and stay away. I went with a group of 6 friends one of whom had an infant with her. After waiting for 30 min. the host tried to sit us in a booth. When we told her it wouldn't work, she was extremely put out. We suggested a table in another section, and were told it was closed. The best they could do for us was a high top in the bar. The table next to us left shortly after we got there and it sat dirty the entire time. Service was awful. Our drinks sat empty. We were never checked on. Took forever to pay. I can't believe they didn't anticipate being busy. It was a weekend; in a mall; two weeks before Christmas. I won't be back.

The service here is just terrible. Getting the appetizer with the meal is never good and neither is always having empty glasses. I love the food here and will try Green Mill again when I am in Minnesota but not this one, this is the second time in a row it was just awful.

I have eaten here numerous times and never had a bad experience. Even last night, when only 7 of my party for 15ish showed up everyone was very polite and our server was outstanding! Food is decent, I've had a couple different things and they've all been good. My parents love getting the pasta here and my mom especially loves the chicken Marsala (she loves taking half of it home). Portions are typically very large. I had the buffalo chicken wrap last night and holy spicy! The Cilantro Shrimp Salad is good. The pizza is pretty good. Their new "Asian Slaw" is only ok. Honestly, it was kind of bitter. We'll continue to use GM as a meeting place for the family. Good Happy Hour specials and great service!

Stopped by Green Mill last night to meet some friends for dinner. I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but a few of us had coupons and it's close to my house. The menu has the standard fare: salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizza and pasta. One thing that is nice if you are trying to eat healthy, they have a few entrees that are marked as being healthy. I orderd the Cilantro Shrimp Salad, which was one of the healthy entrees. It was HUGE, definitely enough for two to share. I liked that the shrimp were warm, and there were plenty of shrimp on the salad. It could have used more black beans and more veggies, it pretty much only consisted of lettuce and shrimp. They also serve complimentary bread, which I always like.

Worst Green Mill I have been to. Our server was terrible, and I think I got about half an ounce of alcohol in my overpriced drink. Plus $5.99 for about 10 chips covered in cheese is not my idea of a good happy hour special. The only thing nice about this location is it's convenient while you are shopping.

Where to start hmmm..... well... first off if your looking for a good "international" chain restaurant this is the place! Not only did it start here in St. Paul off Grand, but still to this day their world headquarters is located at the Grand Ave location in St. Paul. I would have rated this place a three star but bumped it up to a four due to the great service we received!!! Our server named Sarah either is way above normal server standards or every restaurant I've been to lately has below par servers, so thank you Sarah for your attentiveness!!! Anyway to the food, I had the new Thin & Crispy 4-Cheese Spicy Italian Sausage, not only was it more then enough for lunch (12") but it was pretty tasty for $7.99!!! Don't go get this Thin & Crispy thinking its going to be Psycho Suzie's or Luce tasty but some of the Green Mills specialty pizza's do come close. Its a must if your stuck in Rosedale mall and want to get away from the cookie cutter burger joints.

Me and my friends went to this place and had deep fried walleye and sirloin steak. They were all terrible and we all thought that the price is too high. We will never visit this place again.

I've eaten @ this GM before and wasn't impressed. This time more than made up for that bad experince. :) This time the staff was friendly and attentive. My water was filled and my food was great. They were patient with our table since we were all over the place in conversation. I tried the low calorie chicken pizza and it was tasty! Crispy, thin wheat crust and tasty chicken with cheese. I would recommend it 100%.

Just had a bad experience tonight. I ordered a burger, girlfriend ordered a french dip. I specifically asked for waffle fries and got the normal ones. Not a huge deal, and it totally wasn't our servers fault (it said waffle fries on the receipt), but the kitchen was slow, messed up the order, and the first half of the french dip was nearly inedible. I won't be back to this Green Mill.

Maybe my palate's just not sophisticated, but I'm a big fan of their calzones. And I think the fried green beans are genuinely excellent.

I've eaten at the uptown Green Mill location several times, each time was great. Tonight we wanted to stay in the burbs so opted to try the Rosedale location. Arrived during dinner hour ~7pm and was told it would be a 20min wait, thats fine. Our server seemed like she was in way over her head or had a bad evening or just wasn't cut out for this job. We witnessed numerous mistakes throughout the night in our section but I'll just comment on some of the issues at our table. 1) Our appetizers came out before our drinks did. 2) When she brought our appetizers out she brought them to the wrong table then came back to us. 3) when she brought our drinks out she again brought them to the wrong table then came back to us. 4) Didn't bring the bread we were supposed to get. 5) Our food was cold when she brought it out. 6) Never got a refill on our drinks or a follow up on how the food was. This was just my table mind you. Countless others were complaining about mistakes and wait times.

Green Swill your calzones taste like hot pockets. Maybe next time tell people you don't have ginger ale instead of 'making your own' out of 'sprite and bitters' OK salad though
