My husband and I love Penn Station! The sandwiches are tasty. The bread is delicious and it's great that they cook the ingredients and run the bread through an oven to heat and crisp it. The fries are among my favorites anywhere. I've been meaning to try a different sandwich when I go to Penn Station, but the artichoke and mushroom is just so good that I order that every time. My husband creates his own with turkey, grilled banana peppers, and lots of other delicious stuff. The fries are fresh cut from real potatoes, not frozen, and are cooked to order, and I douse them with vinegar and ketchup and - what a treat!

Chicken Parm sub was delicious!! Only complaint is I came in with a co-worker, order right after her and still 4 other people got their orders in front of me, one of them being someone who ordered 4 subs. Keep up the excellent food but maybe make sure if two people come in together that they can eat together.

Food is really good but expensive they are skimpy on the fries and the manager is so rude to the way she talks to her staff even customers that's a real turn off. I just waited over 20 minutes for my food and got a half order of fries it seems and there under cooked oh well guess I'll go somewhere else next time

This Penn Station was a huge disappointment. Seriously. I had my eyes set on the Philly Cheesesteak combo(which is delicious by the way)... And when I saw the people before me ordering, I noticed the young lady making the sandwiches... She had no gloves on, which I thought was weird, but hey maybe she washed her hands.. So I watched further and noticed everyone else had on gloves. Secondly, she was not only NOT wearing gloves... She was wiping her hands off on her shirt, after touching the meat and other sandwich pieces. Lastly she was using the same spatula for every kind of sandwich meat, also for the grilled veggie sandwiches... I felt overall it was just disgusting. Unsanitary practice... And made me lose my appetite. I am usually very pleased with Penn Station which is why I was so upset. I didn't want to just not eat, so I ordered fries and a lemonade, which was cool because someone else made them. All I can say is, pay attention to the people making your food.

Not a fan. Slow slow slow. And pricey. Very greasy but tastes good. All 3 times I have been here, it was at least 20+mins to get my sandwich. Not going back.

I've been to this location of Penn Station 3 times now, so I feel confident I can give a well rounded review. The staff here have always been more than pleasant and see to enjoy their work. They're always friendly and easy to give menu recommendations. The fries are absolutely awesome here. Frersh cut & cooked to order, you could easily fill up on them. I've ordered 3 different kinds of subs, and they've all been very good even after being subjected to the ride home. I especially like the bread they use. It seems similar to JJ, but I actually like it better. I've had the Club, the chicken cordon bleu, and the Italian. All were very good. I think next time I'll go with the dagwood & make my own! With the plethora of sub & sandwich shops out there, you've got to have a good product to survive (man cannot survive on gimmick alone). I think Penn Station has a good shot of staying in the game. I hope the other stores in the franchise are equally as good as this one.

The food here is very good however, they ran out of fries! How does that happen? Then she said it takes 45 minutes to make more! Meanwhile they have hundreds of potatoes in the kitchen. Then I asked if they could not make my sub until the fries were ready and they forgot and made it anyway. When the rude manager asked what's this sub doing here the poor man explained and the manager flipped out! She was so rude to her staff and customers! I will definitely call the head manager to complain, she should not be a manager!

I love Penn Station! I'm not generally a fan of hot subs, but it's great how they warm the ingredients without charing everything on the inside (unlike some places I've been to). I came last Friday at about 11:30 and was greeted quickly and my order was taken. I ended up on a "Dagwood" where I could select my own meats, cheeses, vegetables, etc... They have a lot of options available.... Vegetarian, lite, meat laden, etc..... While I have never had their fresh cut fries, I have heard they are great. They smelled really good, and while I decided against them this time, I will get them the next. I decided to splurge on their fresh squeezed lemonade instead. It was fantastic! Refreshing and not too sweet! Worth the money and the calories. Prices were reasonable. A 6 inch sub with fresh ingredients was a little less than $5. Not bad at all! I'll came back!

Food is good, can't go wrong with the philly. Prices are expensive and they never give you enough fries! Also, I always have to tell them to put gloves on! Probably won't be going back anytime soon.

Great food! Three stars because staff wasn't to friendly and price is a bit high for the food. $34 for two for lunch....

I've been to Penn Station a couple times and each time my visit has been just fine. Yes, the subs are a bit pricey, but for what you get, it's completely worth it! Come here if you get tried of Subway or Jimmy Johns. The subs are made fresh to order and they come out relatively quickly. I usually get the chicken or the Italian sub. The customer service is also very good. They check up on you to see how everything is tasting and offer to take your plate out of the way for you. That is customer service! More than I see at some restaurants sometimes. Haha! But seriously, try this place. It's worth it if you like good sandwiches!

I've had a few times now, each visit trying a different sub. I like the menu and have been satisfied with my food & service each time.

I have quickly become of fan of Penn Station East Coast Subs! When I don't bring my lunch to work, it's good to know this is an option besides Jimmy Johns & Subway. The first time I stopped in, I was a little overwhelmed by the options. It was crowded and the line was building up behind me. I wasn't really sure what the whole process was for ordering. I sort of felt like I was supposed to know. I try my best to make a healthier choice even though I'm not a fan of their lighter options. I want some meat, not tuna or veggies. I've ordered the club and a Dagwood "East Coast Style" (no mayo or onion). You have a choice of grilled or not grilled. I think most people get it grilled. The subs are awesome. All ingredients are fresh and delicious. So much flavor! Normally I'd try to just eat half, but I can't resist eating the entire sub. They also offer fresh cut fries & fresh squeezed lemonade. I haven't tried either, but man...I will one of these days! It looks so good. Plenty of people in line ordered the lemonade. They have a dine-in or carry-out option. The staff will bring your food out to you if you are dining in. Obviously everything is made fresh, so it takes time. I mean...be patient, especially if they're busy. They are not freaky fast, which is ok but that's probably the one drawback to carry-out. There seems to be a cluster of people standing around the cashier area & pop machine waiting for their order, which can get a little crammed. With that said, it's totally worth the wait. Beware of the parking lot. It's in the same lot as the Kroger, which is apparently the busiest Kroger in the company or something like that. The next time I go, I'm getting those fries & that lemonade!

DooD!! You MUST check this place out! Not only is the food cooked to order, it's cooked fast! I tried the artichoke sandwich and it was AMAZING! I really recommend getting it to go, and letting it sit in the wrapper for 30 mins. This helps the bread soften and the cheese ooze in every inch of the sandwich. The fries were good. Not the best, but good. I'm kind of regretting not trying the fresh lemonaid. However, it may have sent me into a sugar coma, so it's probably best I didn't! They serve Pepsi fountain products. Next time, I'm trying a cookie!!

The prices are high for the product I received, Also, the guy handling the money also handled the food with NO gloves on. I won't be back. I should have read the reviews before I went there. I too got the Rueben. More kraut then meat. Rueben's are my go to sandwich......Not here.

Been wanting to try since they opened, but too pricey for me. Finally got a coupon, so I got the Reuben could only taste the saurkraut, got my magnifying glass out to find the corned beef. Son got the Teriyaki chicken which he ate after I went to bed. I asked him what he thought, he said it was way too salty, more like soy sauce instead of Teriyaki. ( He always gets the Teriyaki Chicken at Subway & loves it). He could not finish it because of the extreme saltiness, & threw it out ( He NEVER complains about food ) Service SLOW, There were three people there & I was the first, it took a bout 10 minutes. My bill was 8 bucks plus change, so I gave her a 20 plus correct change. She gave me back a 10 & change. When I told her I gave her the "Change" she called the manager & they tried to figure it out, I told them the even if I had not give the Change I was still short a dollar. All in all , Never again, subs are small, way overpriced, and no flavor, or bad flavor. I will stick to Subway.

Went there for the first time Thursday. Restaurant was too hot, had to wait too long for the order, 3 subs and 2 fries. Chicken Parm subs were not very good according to my wife and her sister. My pizza sub was ok, but sort of doughy. The fries were overlooked and dried out and not tasty. I will say that the people were working hard and very friendly. One recommendation for the owners is to remove the dark film on the front windows. The place looks closed. I have lived in Canton for over 30 years and have noticed that most businesses with a dark film on the front windows go out of business time and time again.

update 4/14 - again gave it one more try. ate in, which changed the whole dynamics of the sandwich. got the veggie 6" which had about 2 Tablespoons of grilled veggies, a slight sprinkle of fresh lettuce, one onion piece and 3 tomato slices. seemed meager for a vegetable sandwich. didn't like that it came opened faced in a basket. takeout gets wrapped very tightly with no spillage. same for fries-no cute cup like takeout; just spilled in the same basket as sub. Best thing i can say is i love their bun. hubby got a reuben and instantly said other sandwich shops were better. tables had not been washed and had food pieces on those we had to decide between to sit at. again not a great experience. 3/14 tried penn station last week and thought i had found the best sandwich on earth. so of course had to return this week. sadly they have hired and not properly trained their help. girl was probably a high schooler she looked so young. besides it taking an extremely long time, me being the only customer in the place at 4:40 pm, when she started putting dressing in a takeout cup, i was surprised. i told her no one had done that before and she said she hadn't put it on the sandwich. and it didn't click this was not going to be a good sandwich. WHY DID SHE NOT JUST MAKE A NEW SANDWICH??? got home and the sandwich was all wrong. no flavor, strange veggies (seemed like cabbage that was hard to chew), pickles i had not ask for. bun was ripped and falling apart. it was completely wrong, a failure. yes i know i could go back and complain, but who knows what would be in that next sandwich. it has destroyed my trust and desire for this sandwich again. just not happy, where is the good help? small fries it just that, extremely small for the price of $2 actually whole menu overpriced.
