Little Bangkok Cuisine Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Yep, I likey. Nice waitstaff, helpful, and attentive. It's small inside, but they have a few tables outside. My dinner companion had Pad Thai, while I opted for E-8....a little mushroom, pea pod, chicken number that was quite tasty. It was so inexpensive for the amount of food we got! Take home again. I like this much better than other area Thai I've been to.

Came here because of all the great yelp reviews. Maybe I've just been spoiled with good Thai food, but this definitely fell short. We came in, and yes, it IS small. We sat at a little table for two as to not take up extra space. We chose spring rolls, a stir fry style meal, and a noodle dish. The spring rolls were really not very good at all. They were almost empty and were therefore essentially deep fried spring roll wrapper. Why would this be appealing? Very disappointing. The dipping sauce wasn't anything special either. The stir fry style meal was... small, to say the least. We were somewhat astounded with the skimpy portion size for the price. Also, $0.25 to make a vegetable substitution and $2.00 to add a vegetable is truthfully ridiculous. The noodle dish was a little better - portion still small. Nothing special though, at all. To top it all off, the service was slow and our waitress was extremely rude. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good. I certainly won't come back.

This place is AMAZING! The food is beautiful to look at, and delicious to eat! I have had Thai all over the world, and this is hands down the BEST! I love the staff as well, they are all very kind and attentive. They always remember that I don't like the food spicy! Go and enjoy this wonderful restaurant!!!!!!

Every time we go here we say we will try something different but each time we go back and order the Chicken pad thai because it is DELICIOUS! The Tom Yum soup is also pretty tasty. Sit outside and enjoy Plymouth while eating some Pad Thai. Mild Plus for me and Medium for my husband. Portions are very large - grab a box and take home the leftovers for a snack.

LOVE the food here. Best Thai in metro Detroit. We usually order Rangoons, soups, pattani, fried rice, potatoe curry, or pad Thai. Love them all.

Really salty, too salty! We ordered three dished and all came too salty including salad. We have been there twice, the second time I wanted to go because I wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves, but it was a disappointment. They were nice enough only charged for two dishes because the other one was late. Never again for us. The Thai tea was not bad though.

This is the best Thai place I have been to in Michigan. I LOVE their drunken noodle. The basil flavor just pops with every bite. Every curry is delicious, but my favoriate is massaman -- so much peanut flavor it's amazing! My husband and I went to "Lotus of Siam" in Las Vegas, which has been called the best Thai restaurant in the country. I got the massaman curry there and Little Bangkok had them beat for sure! I wish they had Thai spring rolls. Also, sometimes their dishes are salty (but I like salty so that's okay for me). You must try this place.

One of two of the only Thai restaurants I will go to. Reasonable prices for your Thai food favorites and 5 different levels of spiciness to fit your palette. I always order the mild + which provides just enough kick without being painful after five bites. Food has always been 1) fresh tasting 2) very hot (both in restaurant and to go). Don't let the modest look fool you, this place is good.

Better than average pad Thai. Cramped seating but carryout is quick. N3 is done right!

I'm a fan! My coworker & I decided to check this place out for lunch. It was busy, but we had no problem getting a table. Service was fast & friendly. We ordered the spring rolls, which were yummy & fresh. The soup was also very good. I cannot recall what my dish was called, but I ordered the E7 & my coworker ordered E6, both with chicken & steamed rice. The veggies tasted fresh & crunchy, and we loved the sauce. I found myself unable to stop eating, but knew I had to. Our server was very gracious. She boxed our leftovers for us, and put them in plastic bags so the sauce wouldn't leak through. That extra step was very nice & unexpected. We have found a new lunch spot & can't wait to try the Pad Thai that everyone recommends!

I've been ordering little bangkok thai food for about 8 years now and I love this place so much, my fiancé and I have cravings for this thai food, I still in 8 years have only tried 3 dishes off of the menu 1) pad see ew, 2) pad thai, and 3) curry noodle. All which I think are the best I've ever had. I have tried many different thai food restaurants and this place I have never once found anything to be wrong. Last time I tried a different thai food place I found a hair in my dish. And that was enough to say I will never go somewhere else around the area for thai food ever again besides Little Bangkok.

Oh, my gut is busting after eating the best Thai food around. I am so in love with this place, I can hardly stand it!!!!! I drove out of my way and in rush hour traffic just to satisfy my craving..... E-8 with chicken is my entree of choice every time. I order it MILD and it has just the right amount of spice. The Pad Thai is divine as well.

I've tried lot of Thai food in my life, when my office moved from Canton to Plymouth, we all looked for a new Thai place close to the office. Eventually word spread at the office about this place and we always used to say, our company should just buy the place :) I used to go here almost 3x a week, but I had to cut back due to work... kept me away from the place. I now go maybe once a month, every time I go, their food taste always the same!! Start with Crab Wonton! Excellent! I have my favorites, but I believe I have tried everything on the menu (minus dinner options). They have different soup everyday, even on weekends. Mon=Tomyum, Tue=vege egg drop, wed=rice/noodle soup, thur=spicy veg soup, Fri=veg egg drop. Service is great - Mary is my favorite, but lately she's been working behind the counter :( I always get the large soup, but with new staff members, they always bring be medium size. Highly recommended!

THIS WILL BE MY FIRST!!!!!!!! If there was a minus star sytem....i would give it to this place!!!yuck!!! Best thai????...in what world? Anyone that wrote a good review or that likes this place obviosly does not know what to compare this restaurat to. First OF ALL ....the owners and cooks are not even from thai land .....Ive been to thai land...and I have had authentic thai all over the country including missouri....MISSOURI! the tofu was nothing conpared to the tom yum (soup that should smell of lemongrass garlic and ginger) smelled sooooo discusting I thought I was going to hurl from it...my guess the chicken was bad! And the pad thai was OK WITH only noodles and bean sprouts....with battered and fried tofu that tasted fishy! Yuck yuck and yuck....PLEASE DONT GO THERE!!!! IM CALLING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT ON THIS PLACE!!!!! PS: on our bill we were charged for 5 meals when we only had 4...when we asked about it....they tryed to tell us that we had 5....then she said ..oh yeah...that is the TIP that they include into the bill...FOR A PATY OF 4 WHO EVER HEARD OF THAT...and yet they did not think to tell us that when they gave us the bill....IM NOT BUYING IT....NEITHER SHOULD YOU!!!

Because I'm Thai and whenever I go eat Thai, I try to keep an open mind about menus, but I'm a stickler for the aspects of authenticity. I've lived in L.A., Miami, Boston, and eaten at Thai places in other big cities and I was in Plymouth babysitting my niece and nephew. I have this massive craving for pad Thai and my sister in law is kind enough to order takeout for me. I call this place and decide to speak to them in the native tongue. Nope--didn't understand a word I said (he was Hmong)..which is okay. So then I tell him that I'd like a spicy Pad Thai (the level many Westerners can't handle), and he says sure and will add extra ground Thai chilies on the side for me. I was excited to fix my craving all the while anticipating an 'average' pad Thai. It was less than average. The noodles were not the tamarind-caramel color, and I was provided fresh (should be dried) ground chilies that many normal Thai's don't use in this dish. It looked like Pad Thai on drugs. Pale, no green scallions, no julienne slices of carrot to beautify the noodles, and less than crisp bean sprouts. So needless to say, worst Pad Thai I have ever had. If they can't do Pad Thai right, I'm scared to try other dishes.

Best Thai in the area! While others may be lacking flavor and heat... not at Little Bangkok. One friend recently did not take my advice to order N1 medium. He ordered it hot, as he said he could take it. It was humorous watching him sweat and cry as he attempted to finish it. Everything is great. Love sitting on the patio in the summer. Defiintley recommend.

This was my very first Thai food experience, and is now in my top three favorite Thai food restaurants EVER! Their service is very fast and the waitresses are very nice and fun to talk to outside of the conventional ordering conversation. This restaurant is very small, though, which is it's only downside. On a busy night, you are much, much better off getting take-out, otherwise you WILL be waiting forever to sit at one of their 8 or so tables inside. Even with the outdoor seating in the summer, seating is an issue. HOWEVER, the food makes it worth ditching a restaurant experience for a cozy take-out one on busy weekends!!!

  • Aimee K.

Some of the best Thai cuisine in the Plymouth/Canton area! I usually order the Pad Thai with tofu and vegetables with the spiciness of mild + (that's pretty much all I can handle) and my hubby takes it up a notch ordering it medium. Fantastic little restaurant - if you're going to sit down, there are probably 10 tables in the dining room. I never have sat down for dinner/lunch in the dining room, generally opting for take out. The meals are carefully packaged and labeled; always service with a smile :)

If I want Pad Thai and I'm in Plymouth, you better believe I'm running here! It all started with being 14 and the coconut ice cream, it is to die for. I moved on to the combo seafood pad thai and have not even dared strayed from it. The seafood (squid, scallop, shrimp) is not close to being over cooked, all seasoned well and I always get extra because of how much I love it. The portions are generous and I usually get 2 meals out of one order. My family backs me on this, they always are suggesting it for lunch and dinner.

  • Marley S.

Kind of really not good at all. The menu is poorly worded, for one. Only one of the fried rice entrees has a description, and the rest are just the dish name like I'm supposed to know what the hell any of it means. Nothing was written about meat options, but instead they make a "ABSOLUTELY NO SUBSTITUTIONS" rule very clear, despite not knowing what I would or would not be trying to substitute in my mystery dish. Waitress asks me if I'm "serious" about wanting my fried rice spicy (twice) and continues to write "mild spice" after shooting me questionable looks. To no surprise, it sucked. Was not offered a replacement dish of what I actually wanted.

My wife and I were wandering around town and walked in this little restaurant based on the number of people in there. Sadly, we were mistaken. We ordered a regular dish and pad Thai, both with tofu. Our tofu seemed like it was fried multiple times, perhaps the worst tofu we ever had. We didn't eat more than one bite of it. The rest of the dish was ok, but nothing memorable; even the frozen stuff at trader joe's is better.

I'm a fan, especially for after-work take out. The food quality is really good, and even though I've sampled my way through the menu I always go back to the spring rolls and my favorite red curry coconut dish. I almost never dine it, but on the few occasions when I have the service was good. And the place was busy. Call ahead for your take out or you'll have to wait. Even when I walk in to get my take out food there's a line there with me waiting to do the same! I have noticed the food quality has declined slightly in portion size and overall quality. It's not bad, but it's not stellar. If I'd written this review when I first starting going there I would have given the place a solid 4 star easily. Now, 3 stars and holding.

  • Nicole T.

Probably my favorite place in the area to get Thai food! They even have a basil chicken dish that is really similar to my favorite at Bangkok 96. I've come here a few times with friends & we've always been really happy with our food & the service we received. They do carryout, too, which is convenient. The only drawbacks are not a lot of parking parking, especially on nice nights (but this is anywhere in Plymouth, really), & not that many tables, since it's small-- neither is a big problem & doesn't effect my decision to come back!

Never went to a Thai this bad. Please don't waste your money. My wife and I went for dinner after seeing good reviews but it turned out to be really bad (never had a bad experience at any other thai in the US); we ordered Spring rolls (very oily), fried rice (too greasy), green curry (lots of mustard, but was the only one that we could eat there). We wanted to have a pot of hot tea so it does not get cold, but they served it in cups. More than all this, waitress had not even a smile on her face and was very uninviting. Overall a really bad experience.

We tried this place last week. We really enjoyed the entrees. The soup that we ordered was not the greatest...kinda short on anything but the liquid coconut milk mixture. So...wouldn't order the soup again, but we definitely would go back for entrees. I also love spring rolls that are wrapped in rice paper and not fried. Those were not on the menu. Wait staff was helpful and attentive.

Thai food is one of my favorites, so I have been to many places. Little Bangkok has the best Pad Thai I have ever had...and they understand what "hot" means. My only complaint is that the servers are pretty unfriendly. Oh...and there's a ten dollar minimum for credit/debit cards.

Am I reviewing the same place my fellow Yelpers are reviewing? Little place? Check. Green awning? Check. Purportedly dealing in cuisines of the Thai variety? Check. Good service? This is where I start to think that I went to the wrong place. First of all, any place that shoves people out before closing time does not have good service. I went last night at 9:03. The sign on the door says they close at 9:30. Even though there were still diners in dining room and it was a full 27 minutes before closing time, they were in closing mode. As in they had the vacuum out. Second of all, their carry out window has a sign saying that they are not responsible for mistakes once you leave the building, so check your order. IMHO, this is not good service. Good pad thai? I think some people may have this confused with Thai Cafe on the other side of town because the pad thai I had last night was bitter like the peanuts had gone bad or something. It was so bad I pitched my leftovers. Good tofu? It's disgusting. They batter it before they deep fry it, it gives it an interesting texture but the flavor is again, bitter. Maybe that's what imparted the lovely flavor on the pad thai, but I really do think the peanut were bad. Good crab wonton? Check. Maybe it was the right place after all and good pad thai is a matter of taste. I won't be going back.

Went to this restaurant for the first time on a recent trip back to Michigan. I had a yellow Thai curry chicken dish that had the perfect amount of spice. One of the others I dined with had the pad Thai and he really enjoyed it. This is one of the better Thai restaurants I have been to in Michigan and I will definitely go back when I visit!

This is my second favorite place to get Thai food in the Plymouth/Canton area. The prices are reasonable, but some of their dishes just aren't up to par with Thai Cafe.

  • Shanna L.

I gave this restaurant three stars because I used to LOVE it before the quality of the meat decreased. Johnny was the best. I would call and give my order and they always knew it was me (well, I did usually order the same thing, Thai fried rice with chicken and spring rolls). I still think they have the best plum sauce for the spring rolls and a wonderful flavor to the fried rice, but the quality of their chicken went down significantly. I can't recall at what point I remember this happenening, but I was very disappointed when each week I barely ate any of the chicken in the dish because it was chewy and sinewy. Unfortunately I despise tofu, otherwise I would try it in the dish; although, perhaps I will make a trip back at some point and try the food again, just without chicken. I did try a few other dishes here, but always went back to the fried rice.

Love the food. Best Thai place in Michigan. I struggle to find a place that I can compare too, this one authentic place. Staff is courteous, and when I come into town, 90% of time I go up there.

The absolute best Thai food around. Curry noodle is incredible- portions are huge and delicious. Their catfish is also delicious! Kids love the tom yum soup with vegetables. Spring rolls are light and crispy. They know how to make food hot and warn patrons accordingly. Inside dining space is limited but service is spectacular. Carry-out is super quick- usually ready in 10 minutes!

Been enjoying this place for years...best Pad Thai in the metro area. Portions are huge, service is always fast and friendly.

I really wanted to love this place. After reading the reviews and a friend raving about it, I was ready to have a food-gasm here...It started out great with the Crab Wonton, actually they were excellent. The Tom Kai soup was perfect too, so far so good. Then the main dish came out the Pad See Ewe...EWW was right! It was drowned in this brown gravy that was NASTY! I sent it back for the Pad Thai which didn't really impress me either. My friends dish was tasty, and he suggested to just stick with the rice dishes. It's worth going back for a second try, because it has all of the makings for a good Thai restaurant. The Crab Rangoon and soup were to die for, just stick to the rice dishes and avoid the noodle dishes is my only advice.

    (3)
  • Shannon K.

Had the N3 called Pad See Ewe, very tastey. I see Jessica J didn't like this in her review. It reminded me of a lo mein type gravey. A little sweet, not really hot. This was right up my alley, but if you don't like sweet don't get this. My friend had chicken and broccoli with currey and she loved it, so if you're in for currey I'd stake it that this is good. Great place to visit. Only drawback is it is SMALL!! About 6,4 person tables is all. Take-out is easiest.

The best crab rangoon/crab wontons i've ever had.

  • I just want the D.

This place has never disappointed me. The dishes are always good and the prices are decent given the downtown location. Parking is sometimes a pain and on a busy evening one can expect a wait for a table. The service is fast and dependable. Given the small size of the restaurant and if there is a wait, the waitresses will tend to rush you a bit -- which is totally understandable. The place isn't the best for long, private talks, but its location in the heart of Plymouth offers for many options of post-dinner fun. Today, I ordered the Pad Thai with Fried Tofu for $6.80. Spicy scale is weak, definitely ask for additional red pepper flakes on the side. They were out of shrimp chips today :( hopefully they get an order in soon!

Best green curry in the area. Outstanding tom yum soup. Their cold minced pork with lemongrass is outstanding. Subtle, interesting flavors in everything we've tried. Our favorite Thai place around. Note: when they say hot, they're not kidding. Not quite as hot as what I had in Thailand, but close.

One of the best thai places in Plymouth/Canton. Very limited seating. Have eaten in and taken-out, never had a bad experience with any dish.

Had such high hopes for this place. The waitress was friendly but service was slooooooooow. It took an hour for our entrees (2) to come out. Turns out they are to have 3 cooks and they only had one. Then I heard her say that the dish washing person was doing prep. We watched one carry out order after another come and go. We were there right at 4 pm when they ordered and the only ones sitting in the place. The waitress should have informed us, comped us the appetizer. So now onto the food- husband ordered some curry with chicken but received a huge bowl of rice and a small platter of curry lots of veggies and minimal chicken. This is one of those Thai places that over loads the veggies and the meat is minimal. Had he wanted veggie curry that's what he would have ordered. I had the chicken pad Thai again lots of noodle an abundance of those white soy bean threads... Not sure what they are calle but the chicken ( albeit thin sliced and tender) was an after thought . Not that meat is primary in pad Thai . The heat was right on. The Thai salad was disgusting. Not at all as described. Again loads of white soy bean veggie and minimal all other veggies swimming in peanut dressing. The dressing was delish but this was overkill too much dressing. We probably won't return

Little Bangkok is a must go to restaurant for the best Pad Thai in town, located in Downtown Plymouth. It's a cute little hole in the wall, family owned Thai restaurant that I've been going to for years. I grew up in the Canton/Plymouth area before I moved out to Las Vegas and still continue going here with my friends from high school when we're all back in town. We ALWAYS make it a point to come here for Pad Thai because it is that good. What differentiates the Pad Thai here is that the sauce isn't red... It's clear. The spiciness in the dish is added with crushed red peppers. Other Thai places add Siracha and/or ketchup to get the color red, which my taste buds don't care for. I haven't ran into a Pad Thai that beats Little Bangkok's yet. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone who lives in the Canton, Plymouth area!

My mom wanted Thai food so we came here since Thai Cafe's credit card machine was down. We ordered the chicken massaman curry and pla dook pad ped. Portions are SMALL for the amount you pay. The potatoes in the curry looked old. The chicken was flavorless. The catfish tasted like it had freezer burn. Bellies were not happy with us.

I've been coming here as long as I can remember. This is such a great family owned and friendly restaurant. They have always come through on how delicious their food is and when I order carry out, it's super quick even when they are busy. Always a great place to stop and I never regret it.

I really want to like this place as it's so close to where I live. But, I just can't accept that this place is a good value. I recently ordered carry-out: pad cashew with fried rice, tofu, and two spring rolls. Basically $15, and there were just a couple of pieces of tofu and a few scant cashews floating in a sea of brown sauce. Not sure if this was a fluke, but I was really disappointed to spend $15 bucks for basically a container of brown sauce with a few ingredients floating around in it, some rice, and two very small spring rolls. Staff was friendly, but I'm not convinced this place is a good enough value to return.

  • Jim G.

The food is good and reasonably priced. Beware that when you order something spicy it's SPICY. This is the only restaurant I have ever been to where I can't order anything above medium. If I do, my mouth will be on fire about half way through the meal. I love their Tom Yum soup, fried crab cheese, fried rice and Pad Thai. Parking is kind of bad during peak times so be sure to go when it's off hours.

Today, I was looking for a restaurant to go to that I have never been. First, I chose Thai food for today's dinner and then searched for a restaurant using Yelp. I found Little Bangkok Cuisine in Plymouth with a good rating. So off to Plymouth we go. When we got to the restaurant, it was 3:30 p.m. The sign on the door of the restaurant said that they opened at 4 p.m. O.K. What to do for 30 mins ? We walked to the park and there was an event going on and the kids had their faces painted, they got tattoos, and enjoyed a few other activities. Time to go back to the restaurant. We walked in and sat ourselves. Nothing special about the interior. Actually, it was a little uninviting. The check-out counter is behind a sliding window. It gave off a very impersonal feeling. A little redo of the interior and this restaurant will be much more inviting. The waitress that we had was nice and friendly. I do not attribute the slow service to her at all. The restaurant really could have used another waitress as the time approached for the dinner hour. After we placed our order, we received our appetizers in about 15 mins. Usually, when you complete your appetizers, your entrees are to follow shortly. For the entrees, it took another 25 mins to arrive. While waiting all that time for our entrees, we noticed that this restaurant places high effort in completing take-out orders versus in house orders. Folks that came in and ordered take-out while we were waiting for our dinner, received their food before us. Huh ? What gives ? Now for the food: We had Vegetable Spring Rolls, Tom Kha Gai, Bangkok seafood combo, Drunken noodles and house fried rice. The spring rolls were good. I would imagine that they don't make them at this restaurant. They probably just buy them pre-made. The Tom Kha Gai soup was very good. My wife lapped it up. Recommended. The House fried rice was good. Actually, it was very good. Many Asian restaurants do not do a good fried rice. You would think that fried rice would be second nature to any Asian restaurant. Not true. This restaurant nails it ! My only critic. Please do not use frozen, peeled and deveined shrimp. Yes, more convenient for you, although it takes away from a true shrimp taste. Buy the frozen, shell on shrimp and take the time to peel it. Much more flavor. The Drunken noodles. Very good. The best that I have had. Recommended. The Bangkok seafood combo - It has a good flavor, this dish lacked in seafood. The fish was barely present, no scallops, the squid was there, just a little simulated crab, a couple pieces of shrimp ( frozen/peeled ) that I described above and this dish had some other mystery meat. This dish was $16+. Not recommended. As we had our dinner, my wife commented on the white rice. She said that it was very hard. My wife is Filipina. She knows rice. When she asked the waitress for rice that is fluffy, the waitress told us that this is how it is served here. My wife said, you serve rice that is so hard and dry ? The waitress said that her grandma has a hard time cleaning the carpets in the restaurant when the rice is properly cooked. So now, she undercooks it. She says, when people spill undercooked rice on the carpet of the restaurant, easy to clean. I say, rip up your carpet and replace it with tiles. Serve proper rice ! Tips for this restaurant: Don't eat in, order take out - your order will get treated with priority. When you get the hard white rice, steam it at home This restaurant has a %15 coupon for take-out. Get the coupon and then order.

Little Bangkok Cuisine seriously is the best Thai food I have ever had in the Americas. I lived in Thailand for a short 6 months, and I have been addicted to Thai ever since. The problem with all of the other Thai food restaurants in the area is that they are too Americanized. People hate on this place because it is small, has shitty wall paper and wobbly tables, but that is part of the authentic experience! Their Thai food is as real as it gets and it tastes amazing, not to mention it costs like $8 out the door at lunch. I have been here at least 40+ times and every time has been awesome. The only negative on this place is that it is really hard to find a seat because it is smaller and always packed (because its amazing). All of the complaints I have seen in other reviews are from pompous assholes. (hint: David L. - Who the hell uses a 15% off coupon on a $6-$8 meal? Seriously? and complains? You are a dumpy loser) Anyone who says this place isn't good doesnt know Thai food, and the should stick to eatting Panda Express.

    (5)
  • David L.

Do not eat here. They were rude and would not take the 15% off coupon as advertised. I spoke to the "so called" manager. He would not make it right. Was insistent about not taking the discount. Sadly this was only for less than $3.00. When I asked to talk to the owner, was told he never (rarely) comes in. They would not provide a phone number. What sort of owner, doesn't want to know about their customer's experience. Personally, I hope this "NEGATIVE" review, helps persuade others to go elsewhere and not eat here expecting good service, or to do what is right for the customer. We will take our business elsewhere!!

I hope that there was just something wrong with my order. We have a rule in our family in order to judge a thai restaurant you must taste the pad thai. Well this was the worst pad thai I have ever ordered. The tofu was breaded and deep fried to a puff of air. The noodles stuck together like they were boiled and tossed in a water of lack luster spice. It had no taste and the texture was gross. I got the diner portion thinking I could share it with my husband but there was barely 2c. in the container. It was a true disappointment. If I had not got carry out I would have returned it. The ladies working were so kind but what happened to the chef?

Honesty upfront: I have limited experience with Thai food. That said, my wife and I had a really good lunch here today. The waitress was extremely friendly and recommended a really tasty dish, the E10 (the Pattana?). All of the food used fresh ingredients, and it was all cooked well with nice fresh flavors. E10 had a subtly sweet red curry coconut milk sauce, and the E3 had a zippier sauce with just the red curry sans coconut milk. I'm pretty sure we'll make a trip back to Plymouth soon just to eat here again.

Please let me clarify my one star review, because this is VERY important to know. Previous to tonight, I would've given this place 4-5 stars easily. The food has always been great and the pad thai is super. While eating my pad thai tonight I bit down on a metal piece and it hurt my molar. I fished it out and found it was indeed metal- I think I'm going to the dentist because now my tooth hurts a bit when I breathe cold air on it. What's very important to know is that I called the restaurant to tell them about the metal and the manager told me this has happened before. He said their metal scrub brushes to clean the woks sometime break up, and a customer will get metal in their food. He said it has happened before and it will happen again, but it's not common. He offered me a free entree when I return. I'm disturbed that they know this happens, but they have no inclination to change how the clean the woks- it's crazy. They just apparently wait until the next customer complains of metal and offers them free food. The manager said this is what they typically do, so clearly it's happened a lot before. This is such a shame, because I used to like this place. I'm pretty easy going about things, but I'm afraid to eat there now because my tooth may really be damaged and I won't be able to eat food there without inspecting each bite thoroughly.

When I entered into this restaurant I was thinking better to leave this place and go to some other restaurant. But I trusted yelp reviews and went in. It's small restaurant and ambiance is not at all good. I ordered pad thai and my friend order Dunken Noodles. Food is zoo good. It's my best Pad thai dish ever. Believe Me or Not I was thinking about that pad thai when I see any thai restaurant. I will definitely recommend this place.

Hey, for what it is, a hole in the wall kind of dining place it's incredible. The food comes quick and it's delicious. My friend from Thailand claims it's as close to authentic as he has found so far. My favorite Thai place is still Novi's amazing Siam Spicy, but you cannot beat the convenience of downtown Plymouth. There are only 10 tables with plastic table cloths, but linen napkins so I'm not sure what the decor is all about...the good news is the food is so good the ambiance really doesn't matter. I was in yesterday for lunch with my Dad (I've been many times but it was his first visit) he had the drunken noodles (which he raved about and craved that night when he made stir fry for dinner) and I had the always delicious pad thai curry. The potato curry is my favorite dish on the menu. I have a high tolerance for heat though and would warn inexperienced diners that while some places aren't very aggressive with their spice levels (such as a hot dish tasting mild) Little Bangkok is NOT THAT AT ALL. If you order a medium you get a true medium and even I with a higher tolerance had some tingly lips! If you are worried about your dish being too spicy, please order conservatively. They cannot be responsible for food ordered too hot. I'll be back. Yummy as always!

Went late on a Sunday night with the family. They are Hmong owned Thai restaurant which is fine, Hmong people are everywhere. You can tell its more influenced that way. Well, honestly, most Thai places here in MI seems to be Hmong owned. Anyways on with the food. Food: we ordered chicken Pad Thai for the kids... No spice. It was really flavorful. Ordered a catfish curry and house special fried rice that had 3 kinds of meat, both medium spice. Delicious. ^_^ Oops.. Forgot about the nong tong and spring rolls. Small portions on the wings and spring rolls were greasy but ok. Service: tell ya the truth, I was hesitant about how it'll be since we went in at 8:20 when they close at 9pm on Sunday. BTW only Thai place we found close by that was open this late on Sunday. They were very friendly. Courteous enough to bring us high chair with a tray for our baby. We were the last one out past their closing time but they didn't rush us. Really nice people. This is now my favorite Thai place since the one very close by closed down. We'll be back!

The greatest little thai place in all of Plymouth! If you're coming in for a weekday lunch, get here right at 11:30! Or you'll be waiting! Having lived around the Plymouth area, I've tried a handful of the Thai places around. This place by far is my favorite. The Pad Thai, Curry Noodle, Pad Sew Ewe, Cashew Chicken, Pad Prik... and the list goes on. Plus, their Tom Gia Kha soup is different from the rest. Dayum tasty! I miss the old days of the shrimp chips that they used to serve, however things change and you can't do much about it. A word to the wise, be careful on the spice. Medium is a nice level, but for those venturing above that... make sure you want to clear your sinuses while you eat.

Been wanting to come here for some time so we gave it a shot last night. A very small diner type but the food was very good! I had the green curry chicken, ordered it medium and it was the perfect amount of heat. My wife ordered Red Curry Gang Pha which is her staple and said it was the best she has had in some time. They also make a light Thai version of hot-sour soup of was a pleasant suprise. The place has 10-12 tables and all were full, plus 3-4 outdoor tables in when weather permits. I will be back!

Great lunch spot, but go early or late because it's tiny and fills up fast. Ken and I have come for dinner, and you will wait during premium hours. Takeout is a good option. Parking is street only (one-way street at that) and shared with other local businesses. Super tasty green curry (with shrimp). Lunch comes with soup, usually hot and sour.

The food here is delicious and reasonable priced. Take out is usually REALLY slow, when calling ahead add 15 minuted to the time the person taking your order tells you.
