Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Nice place with a decent amount of TVs to watch football. Service was good. Enjoyed the fried pickles appetizer. I got the mac and cheese, which was pretty good. Nice beer menu with plenty of options. Price is very reasonable and I definitely would come back again

Wide variety on the menu including lots of salads, sandwiches, micro-brews, beers & wine. I had Gary's 3-Way and loved it! It's the perfect dish for chili and spaghetti lovers. Turns out the chili just won first place at the Northville Fire & Ice festival last weekend. I just had cheese on top, but you can also add onions and sour cream. Also came with garlic toast, though the serving sizes were on the small side. All in all, it was excellent. My husband, on the other hand, had a burger that was supposed to be spicy...yeah, not so much. Anyway, great location across from St. John's, fun pub atmosphere and good eats!

Rusty Bucket is slowly becoming one of the family favorites, and for several reasons. First is the atmosphere. Very relaxed, noisy-but not too noisy that you find yourself screaming during your conversation. I have two girls, age 10 and 13, and the tavern atmosphere adapts well to families. Staff has always been very friendly and attentive, even when busy. Second is the food and drinks. I'm not a big beer drinker, but for some reason, I like trying the different brews here. On the rare occasion that I didn't like the choice, the server always recommends a great alternative beer at no additional charge. Food choices are varied, and there is something for everyone at all ages. Recommend the ribs on Saturday and fish & chips, along with their chopped salad. Portions are good sized, but not over the top (a nice balance for those who have a tendency to clean their plates then wonder why they're gaining weight). In short, good atmosphere, great for those with kids, and decent food.

Food is always good. Some good twists on some of the standards. Not health food by any means :). Love the chili!

Great selection of beers on tap... Buffalo wings ARE the BEST I ever had!!!

Two recent trips to the Rusty Bucket present a decidedly mixed picture. On the positive side, the beer menu is decent - especially the Goose Island on draft - don't see that too often. Also has Magic Hat on draft, but I personally do not care for it. Second, my wife really enjoyed the Mac & Cheese - in fact she ordered it both times we visited. Third, it was easy to get into on a Friday and Saturday with virtually no waiting - but then again, most restaurants in SE Michigan are fairly empty these days. Wonder why? Finally, the multiple TVs make it a decent place to watch a game. On the downside - the service was terrible the second time we visited. After waiting at our table for 10-12 minutes, we finally got the attention of the manager. (who was exceptionally nice) We ended up having three different servers. Very odd. The place was NOT that busy. Second, the mixed drinks were just off - the Long Island Iced Tea had a mango flavor to it. The fish & chips were pretty good - the seasoned fries (the chips) that came with it were terrific. On my second visit, I had the chicken parm - which was a huge portion but tasted just so-so. So...net net...the first visit was four stars, the second, a weak 1 1/2 stars. We'll give them the benefit of the doubt and round up to three stars for now. Update - a recent visit indicated service levels had improved. Still 3 stars - but with an upward bias.

Haven't tried a ton of their food but I can say that they have Amazing drinks. They use fresh ingredients such as muddled grapes and cucumber and always have something new. The fried pickles are really good and I also really liked a tilapia dish that was featured. Oh I forgot about their pizza. So maybe I have tried a decent amount of their food. Maybe it was the drinks? Anyhow the pizza is bomb and I'm not huge pizza person either. Thinner crust and not all huge and floppy. Gotta try the pizza. Definitely a step above all the other chain restaurants.

Rusty bucket is a fantastic joint. Their pizza is to die for. Something about that crust... But of course, there are many other delicious dishes. I have enjoyed several of their salads as well. The ambiance is like a local bar but definitely family friendly.

The food was wondereful. The salom was the best I ever had, and my hasband had the Philly. I loved the place and the people and waitesses and waitors were wonderful. I would go back in a heart beat. Love, Love Love it. And the beer was really cold!!!!!!

This Restaurant has a whole menu of great stuff!! Cooked fresh, made fresh, and made right! The management and bar staff are the best people around. If there is something that isn't right they'll make it right. Drinks are very reasonable. What a great place to hangout. Love these guys!! From their Rusty a Bucket Chili Dogs to their Salmon and Meat Loaf, you've got to try it!

Close to home and the drinks were good! I drive by this place all the time and didn't even know this was here. The service was a bit slow, not sure why, they weren't that busy. I will definitely try again, and probably bring the kids!

  • Ann S.

Good was good but service was terribly slowwwwww. Good for kids, good beer menu but didn't have what I wanted (all out). Ordered the mahi mahi tacos and they were out of those too. Everything was good except the service.

The Rusty Bucket struck me as a middle-of-the-road chain restaurant. The food was good (I had the veggie burger), the service was good, the ambiance was OK, the prices were what you'd expect (think Chili's or Applebees). Nothing stuck out as special either positively or negatively. I wouldn't be the one to suggest going here again, but I definitely wouldn't hesitate to go if someone else suggested it. My take is that this is a safe bet restaurant for families.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. We were greeted with a smile, hello and small talk. Our waitress was very nice and prompt. She checked in enough without us feeling like she was hovering. Son had a cheese pizza. Nice thin crust, light seasoned sauce and enough cheese. Hubs had the club sand. W/ fries. He didn't care for the fries. The fries were soggy and warm...rather than hot. The sandwich was perfect. I had heir Saturday special- ribs and a house salad. The salad was great. Everything was fresh and cut to perfection. The ribs were perfectly tender, no fat or gristle. They had a tad bit too much sauce on them. The coleslaw was meh...

It gets a 5 for the amazing service from BOTH of our servers. Both , as we had an awesome dinner in the dining area with a fun and honest server (recommended awesome plates). The food was fresh and delicious. We then had an after dinner cocktail - ok, maybe 3, but the server over there was personable, fun and made for a great time. The menu is not overwhelming and has comfort food, salads, and plenty of options. You will love it. Places like this rock!

  • Martha V.

I like it. We had excellent service and the food was really good. Our party had a wide range of food - chicken wings, shrimp, mussels, and a burger and fries. All of it was really good. We sat at the bar and the baseball game was on. We asked if one of the many TVs could be switched over to the NHL playoffs and they accommodated us, no problem. There is a good selection of beer - not quite as many local varieties on tap as I'd like but a good selection of craft beer. I had a Magic Hat - always solid. The Rusty Bucket is very easy to get to - right off Sheldon just north of M 14. There's tons of parking. It's a good place to watch a game.

Took the trek there today. Very impressed! It's a chain, to be sure, but a really nice one. The place was in great shape and seats were varied and comfortable. I went at the beginning of the lunch rush. The staffing looked more than adequate to handle a full restaurant. The greeter and waiter seemed well trained. This shows good management. My order was simple, but the table next to mine had lots of questions for him. he handled them all. The menu is fairly varied, so most everyone should find something. My food was good and I heard no complaints from anyone else. It's a full bar with a very respectable beer list, though more heavily leaning toward bottles. The drafts were varied, though. It's not everywhere one can get Anchor Steam on tap. Prices were decent, food and drink were above average and staff was great. Will make it back there.

I am a huge fan of the tempura style fried pickles at Rusty Bucket. Their ranch is exactly as I like it, too. My friend got the baked mac and cheese, with the crunchy panko crust to change up the texture. It was delicious and cheesy without being overwhelming. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan - a crispy crust kept the chicken moist, and the noodles were in an alfredo sauce which mixed very well with the marinara on top. Huge portions, decent service, good flavors - I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

The Rusty Bucket is a nice bar/restaurant with better than average good and good service. The waitstaff is always very friendly and helpful. I was told that it was a chain idea by the famous Flemings steak house as a high end Applebes type of restaurant. The food is defiantly a higher quality than other chain restaurants. My favorite is the "Elvis Burger", I actually crave it. It's s burger topped with velveta cheese, grilled onions, sweet relish - YUMMY!!! The menu has many choices ranging from salad to steak and everything in between. We've never had a bad meal here and I would recommend to anyone visiting the area looking for a good meal at a fair price.

The only pleasurable aspect of this restaurant is the waitresses are pleasant. The food is appalling, the "hot brown" let's just say since experiencing this dish, my wife and I reference our daughters dirty diapers as such. The chicken fingers are covered in grease as well as the burgers, the bottom bun of the burger is soaked in the grease, eating this burger or chicken strips will cause you to hot brown for days.

Decided to try this place out and glad I did. Great food, beer, and service. I will be back. Be sure to check out the buffalo chicken sandwich. Del

Rusty Bucket is a sports bar/casual restaurant with an extensive menu. A World Cup soccer match played on the numerous TVs that lined the walls, sharing space with sports memorabilia. A large bar greeted guests upon entering and a chalk board indicated all the daily specials. While there were several starters that looked appetizing, including the deep-fried pickles and the bucket of shrimp, I went with an old favorite, the mussels. A good-sized portion of mussels sat in a white wine broth that included shallots, tomatoes, and garlic. Two slices of focaccia were tucked underneath the mussels to help sop up the flavorful sauce. Next up was the Fish 'n Chips, featuring a sizable portion of crispy beer-battered cod fillets, fries and coleslaw. The fish was perfectly prepared and seasoned and I loved the tartar sauce that came with the meal. The fries were okay but the coleslaw was amazing. I'll definitely remember to order it as a side on a return visit. I came specifically for the Blueberry Stack, a limited-time dessert of blueberry bread pudding. Unfortunately, it was sold out early in the evening so I opted for the Sticky Bun version, a bread pudding topped with toasted pecans, vanilla ice cream, and a mound of whipped cream. A sweet caramel sauce provided additional flavor to the dessert. Surprisingly, the restaurant comped my dessert, which was unnecessary but much, much appreciated. Service was very friendly and helpful.

Upgrading to 4 stars. I finally got a chance to eat here last night. We split the quesadilla and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were very good. The place was jammed on a Wednesday. We almost had to wait for a table. They had whiskey specials, but I stuck to the beer. I feel like the beer is a TAD overpriced. Overall, it was a good experience. The food was on point and worthy of bumping this place up a star.

Looking for a spot for dinner close to my hotel I found the Rusty Bucket. First off, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Lots of good options on the menu, so there is something for everyone. I started off with e bucket of peel and eat shrimp. Based on a suggestion from the bartender, I went with the Buffalo Chicken sandwich (but I made it into a wrap). It was delicious! Hope to make it back one more time while I am in town.

Went here to have dinner with family tonight. When arrived hostess said there was an hour wait. She seemed to be discouraging everyone who came in by telling them there would be an excessive wait time. Frustrated my wife and I told them we changed our mind and left (two cars -- I met her and kids there). On the way out a woman mentioned they told her it would be 45 minutes, but it was less than 10. We stayed the course and loaded into our cars. Before I got out of parking lot, I received text that table was ready. It was four minutes after she told me it would be an hour! I turned around and tried to call my wife, but she did not hear phone in her purse. I explained to hostess that my family left and it was only four minutes after she said it would be an hour. She smirked like it was a joke as the guy next to her tried to apologize. We go here frequently and never have rude incompetent service like this. Her joke put a kink in the whole family's evening. Thanks!

It's a local place, for sure. You'll see older couples on dinner dates, random people drinking and eating at the bar, expert bartenders who make some yummy strong cocktails, and families galore in the dining area, along with post-game teams that pop in for a snack. The crowd isn't necessarily attractive or exciting or diverse, though... so ya better like who you came in with. Just saying. But on a serious note, food's good and fairly priced. Fish n chips and a bourbon on a cold night hits the spot.

Crab cake special sounded like it might be good. Tried it after recommendation from server. $20 for two tiny cakes and a small amount of fries. Two bites and can't get past the overly salty flavor. Yuck. No server to check since food was dropped off, going on 10 minutes now. I would recommend other options.

  • Rebecca K.

We love it here. Great food, great service ... just be prepared if you go on a "date" night. It can get soooo busy and seating isn't always the best. The hosts are always sweet and the bartenders great. Never had bad service here, but bc it is so popular be prepared to wait a minute if you go on a busy day during dinner rush. Order the fried pickles while you wait... cant go wrong.

This is a friendly sports bar/restaurant. Not a gourmet place but food was served hot and tasted good. For a sports bar, the food is definetely above the average but the price also follows. We ordered a turkey club sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. Of course the star was the 'frickles', deep fried slices of pickles... and nobody else has it this good!

  • Jadranka H.

My friends are always saying you got to try the Rusty Bucket! I wasn't really impressed by the experience, but of course the rest of the party were thrilled. They mostly ordered sandwiches, I had the Macaroni and Cheese topped with breadcrumbs. To my surprise you would of thought I ordered it right off the kids menu, it couldn't be more than 3-4 oz bowl and mind you this was a "meal". At that point I wish I ordered a sandwich that came with fries (or any other side) instead of mine. Which cost more than the sandwiches. All that aside it was different, very creamy but the bread crumbs were overpowering, there was an equal amount of pasta and crumbs, causing it to not be as great. Your typical recipe calls for just a topping of bread crumbs not half and half. I haven't rule this place out just yet, the staff was amazing, so I will go back to try one of their humongous sandwiches!

This is a great lunch or casual dinner spot. I've always had decent service at Rusty Bucket and the food I would consider a step above your average bar meal. My absolute favorite menu item is their buffalo chicken sandwich! It's so good. I think the Panko breadcrumbs are the key ingredient here that makes it stand apart from any other buffalo chicken I've ever eaten. I also enjoy their wings. What I like most about Rusty Bucket is the amount of fresh ingredients they use. It makes an enormous difference in taste. Traditional sports bars use plenty of frozen items but not this place. I usually stop in during the week, it seems to be a popular spot on Friday and Saturday nights so expect a wait if you go then. If you're looking for a place to watch a game, have some drinks and enjoy a fresh meal you should give this place a shot.

Went here with friends and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Great sports bar with a nice menu. Food was awesome and the lobster bisque was out of this world! Service could not have been any better, our waiter was entertaining and helpful!

The first time my hubby and I came here, we ordered a few things his friend, who at the time worked there, had suggested. We got half an order of fries pickles (spears) that came with a side of ranch and the sriracha wings. Since I wasn't too hungry after the apps, I ordered a small Thai steak salad. Now, I'm not one to venture off and I'm definitely not one to order asian cusinies from american restaurants (it's weird to me)...but I was so happy that I did. Next time we go back, I'm definitely getting the salad again.

Once upon a time, I had a great lunch here. This has been my only experience with the Rusty Bucket, but it was a positive one for sure. Maybe this is a silly thing to praise a restaurant on, but their iced tea was perfectly brewed. I mean perfect. Each and every one of my ninety-five refills were delicious. Our waiter was very nice. He chatted us up, anticipated our needs, and was really attentive throughout our meal. I ordered the Asian tuna wrap. It was a wonderful combination of flavors, and the seared tuna was cooked really well. I particularly liked the Ponzu sauce on the side, though there wasn't a good way to dip it without all of the carrots and sprouts spilling out of the wrap. #firstworldproblems This area sees me a lot as I come to town for business. I can definitely see myself enjoying another lunch at the Rusty Bucket.

With a big group of friends and family in the area reuniting for the holiday weekend combined with March Madness, it's hard to go wrong no matter where we decided to go Friday night. One of my husband's friends who still lives in the area suggested we set up shop here for the night because of the craft beer, drink specials, decent bar food and more unique sports bar atmosphere. To build off of his suggestion, the review will break down similarly: *Microbrew menu - Not bad selection compared to other typical chains, but a majority of these were in bottles instead of draft. *Strong special - A couple mixed drinks but the server suggested the pineapple cosmo for how strong it is. Wanting to switch from beer to liquor later in the night, I took her tip and discovered why it was so strong: That fruit sits at the bottom of the glass and soaks up the alcohol, making it a ticking time bomb. Overall, I liked how the drink wasn't too sweet but I actually needed to take a while to chew on that pineapple. *Basic bar food - Tried out the Bucket O' Shrimp and Spinach Artichoke Dip apps with our beverages. The bucket was a bit over-the-top, gimmicky but tasted fine as a shrimp cocktail type of dish. Nothing special once getting over the presentation. As for the dip, it was a bit too watery for me. *Adequate atmosphere - Felt very family friendly because it seemed to be balancing between the definition of a sports bar and a sit-down restaurant. There were a few TVs of varying sizes around the perimeter of the restaurant with a centralized bar, but my group and I ended up having to strategically sit ourselves in a way that the people who cared about the bball games would have the better views. I did very much appreciate a mini-TV in the bathrooms so I could keep up with the score.

Went to the Rusty Bucket with my mom for lunch and I'd say it was a pretty good experience. We got there about noon so it wasn't too busy . Our server took our drink order and returned promptly. I ordered the Torpedo and my mom got a grilled chicken salad. Our food was severed in a timely manner and was quite good. the sub was hot and tasty and the fries crispy and hot. My mom liked her salad and was appreciative of the dressing served on the side. Prices were okay and serving sizes a bit small but I was satisfied with my sandwich (no leftovers). Our server was polite and fairly attentive, although my water glass went unfilled. A decent all-around dining experience.

First time was on a Saturday evening and luckily some of our group had been there before and knew to call ahead for a table. We walked in were informed of an hour wait. Even the bar area was crowded. Only two bartenders who never stopped moving (they need three, long wait to order a drink). We had a very good waiter and our meals were delicious. We will be back again.

There is only 2 things I get when I go to Rusty Bucket: fried pickles and pineapple infused martini. My friends and I went here for lunch one afternoon and everyone initially ordered food. We ordered one basket of fried pickles spears for the table. Everyone ended up canceling their food orders and we got 6 more baskets of fried pickles spears YUM YUM! They were a hit to say the least. I have had fried pickled chips from Buffalo Wild Wings and they were awful. So if you want something to compare them to...

Great beer and drinks...good bar food. The service here is always excellent. The pizza and burgers are probably the best things. They make high-end drinks for a regular bar.

  • Evan F.

I give this place 1 star Bc it's disgusting. That's all I have to say. We'll not completely cause your gonna here me say all this bad stuff about this resturant . So first of all it's always crowded and there's like a 40 minute wait, even tho it's disgusting. So once the lady that tells you there's a long wait you go F this and go to the ruby Tuesdays down the street. So #2, the chicken tenders here are gross. There all soggy and ew just ew.. I mean it's called the rusty bucket so yeah. We'll I'm bored gtg.

The very first time I ate here I ordered The Big Sicilian Pizza and that was all she wrote, I was hooked. This pizza is superb. I showed great control to not eat the whole pizza so I could take a couple slices to my mother who is a pizza eating freak. Let me tell ya,, it's like I'm the drug dealer and my mother is the junkie. Every time I drive by this place I have to stop in and get a pizza to go for mom. I've also tried their Meatloaf Dinner, which was good, but the pizza is still King.

We go here once or twice a week, not anymore. Food is ok not great, less and less people here all the time has to tell you something. New staff constantly . Tonight we go there I get their We'd drink special x2 and I am billed more because it is on the rocks. I am thinking they need to look around the restaurant and see that something is wrong!

  • Katie M.

To be honest, nothing on the menu here really sounds appealing to me, but I don't dislike it here. It's close to home, they have a nice beer selection and its loud enough that my kids can be obnoxious without us getting looks of death from other tables. Solid place! :)

  • Christopher F.

Ate here this past weekend. The atmosphere is a nicer version of your typical sports bar! When looking at the menu not that much stood out, most of the menu options seem like typical bar food minus a few exceptions. Each day they have a different special, we went on a Sunday and the special that day did not excite me. For appetizer we ordered the chilled shrimp with old bay. This was done very well, reminds me of New Orleans broiled shrimp, except at Rusty Bucket they remove the head for you. I ordered there sirloin chili and was very impressed would definitely order that with a few beers again. My son had a fish n chips which was cooked very well, it also came with an apple sauce all for $4.75. My mom ordered the pesto pizza, the crust is very good and I did enjoy the pizza. Although, nothing on the menu excites me or causes me to say wow, i have to go there for that item! Everything on their menu is executed very well!

The Rueben is excellent. We have been here several times since we have friends who love the place and it is a very solid three star. This time my wife got the glazed salmon and really enjoyed it. We are never unhappy here and never ecstatic .Nikki did a great job serving and Rusty Bucket has a bevy of great wait persons.

It's part of a chain, which has its pros and cons. On the pro side, it seems quality control with food is pretty high. It's also less smoky than I would imagine any "tavern" to be. On a recent Wednesday night there was actually NOBODY smoking in the bar! An amazing feat for Michigan! It was also a good place to work because it was surprisingly quiet. Some classic rock (Bowie, Stones, Beatles? Sure!) in the background and muted TVs set a background that I could easily tune out while trying to finish up a few last things and mow down some pub food. And this pub food was good! No, it wasn't earth shattering, I just got chicken fingers and fries -- but there were plenty more salad and other options. And the chicken fingers were tender, fresh, and not overly greasy. They were big juicy pieces of chicken as opposed to flat strips, which was kind of a nice change! My waitress, Kim was stellar! Is was whiskey Wednesday, so I gave that a shot... or rather an "on ice." The thing is, none of the whiskeys seemed smooth enough for sippin'. If they'd just added Jameson to the mix, I'm sure I would have been able to finish. Ah well.... no place can be perfect, right? As I was wrapping up, they played "The Kids are Alright," which probably gets them an extra 1/2 to full star. Perfectly A-OK+

Place is always clean and always busy and service is always prompt but menu lacks alot of creativity and its a little costly for what you get. I will go when in a jam but never top of my list.

Um, this place was pretty good. Will I be back? Yes. Will I rush back? No. I would categorize this as a sports bar with a homey feel. They have a good mix of booths, tables and wide screen TVs. Service was fast and friendly. The food is average. I ordered a BBQ chicken salad. It came with a smallish size sliced chicken breast drizzled with BBQ sauce and served with a side of ranch. The flavor of the BBQ sauce was not my cup of tea I guess. Edible, but not outstanding. My husband ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich. It was served open face with melted white cheese and onion. I tried a small bite and again.... it was good but nothing I would be racing to order again. I think I will be back here to order drinks and appetizers with the girls sometime but it won't be my first choice for dinner. They do seem to have some good daily drink specials! And who doesn't love a good drink!

Tavern/bar atmosphere but still very family friendly. Menu is mostly typical tavern fare, but quality is definitely higher with some interesting twists. Beer menu is varied and interesting, both tap and bottle.

We used to eat here often but last night was our last time. When was the last time you had to send back margaritas. The fish was good but the fries were soggy. 2 bad drinks and two mediocre meals at $40 was not a good buy.

Located in Northville Twp - at the end of a strip mall set back off the corner of 5 mile and Sheldon - is a great place for dinner or lunch, A good place to take a client or watch a sports game without it being too loud. Great selection of beers. Food is very well prepared with both full entrees or burgers and sandwiches. I sometimes get the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it is very tasty. It is a neighborhood favorite. The atmosphere is that of a classic dark wood Euro feel bar. Friendly - and clean. Seats around 100 - 125 people. Can get busy on some nights with a bar on the side for standing and waiting for a table. In the summer - has a few outside tables - but outside eating in a strip mall is not so great.

We have enjoyed good food and decent service here in the past...but tonight is a different story. We were put at a table and sat for well over 10 minutes before a waitress even acknowledged us. And when she did she ran past saying "I'll be right there"....only she wasn't. After another five minutes of watching her continue to serve other tables and then start to take the order of the people at the table next to us (who had just been seated), we left. Sorry RB, but I had two very hungry kids, you weren't busy enough to warrant us having to wait almost 20 minutes to even put in a drink order...so our money and appetites went elsewhere. :(

This could be one of my new favorite places. It's on the SE corner of Sheldon and 5 Mile, behind the CVS. It's a little hard to see from the road but well worth looking for. It's not very big so there was a short wait when we arrived at 7 PM on a Saturday so we opted to sit at a little table in the bar to watch the end of the football game. Lots of TV's and sports memorabilia on the walls and the staff all wear college t-shirts and were very friendly. Service was fantastic! I had a hard time choosing what to have for dinner. I was watching food come out of the kitchen that all looked so good it made the decision even harder. I opted for the Reuben and it was the best I've ever had. It was so big I could only eat half so now I have lunch for today too. The ribs and burgers all looked great too. Here's the insider tip...they serve mac and cheese as a dinner but it's not listed as a side dish. However, they will still substitute the fries for the mac and cheese. I highly recommend it with the cheddar and swiss and panko bread crumbs on top. It was delicious. David is a fish and chips guy and decided to try it when he saw it was made with whitefish instead of cod like most places. He was very pleased. The bathrooms at restaurants always speak volumes and the Rusty Bucket's were sparkling clean and had a bookshelf filled with extra toilet paper, c-fold towels, and tissue boxes. Nice touch! We'll definitely go back!

Definitely will become a new standby for me. It is not a fancy place by any stretch, but is great for American pub fare...and some more upscale offerings you wouldn't expect to see such as a sugar-glazed salmon, and tequila lime tilapia. The place was very busy, as my fiance and I arrived around 8:45 on a Friday night. The wait was quite reasonable, and the guy who seated us was very friendly and personable. The atmosphere was nice, too - lots of TVs, clean appearance, and a nice bar. Kimberly, our waitress was outstanding...very friendly, prompt, and got our orders perfect. This is sometimes a challenge because my fiance is a relatively picky eater. We had the fried pickles as a starter, which is an absolute must! The chili was also very tasty. We both had burgers, which were cooked exactly to our preferences and all the food came out piping hot. The beer menu is quite impressive, and while a bit on the pricey side, I would not say it was too expensive. They have daily blue plate specials, and daily drink specials - even on a Friday! Overall I was quite pleased and will be back.

This restaurant has quickly become a favorite for my husband and I. I can sum it up in two words: Fried Pickles. Ok, seriously, we love the pickles and go there specifically to get them. The fact that the rest of the food is pretty tasty too is a bonus. They also have very good mixed drinks, and they do *not* skimp on the alcohol. The service is always good, and the restaurant itself is a nice atmosphere. For a few months after it opened it was pretty empty all the time, but now if you go on a Friday/Saturday evening there will be a wait (but not a bad one). They do have a patio open now, so that's nice. A few things we enjoy on the menu is their mac n' cheese, their buffalo chicken sandwich, the fish and chips, and any of the burgers (burgers with velveeta - yum!) They also have a special every day depending on what day of the week if is. Lasagna day is good, and I'm still waiting to get there on Stroganoff day. This is a chain, but still a fairly small one (less than 20 locations I believe). One fun thing about it that the nerds may like is that whoever is running their twitter account pays a lot of attention. I tweeted one day that I was loving the pickles and they tweeted back directly at me, then started following me. When my husband tweeted how much he loves their ranch, they sent him their recipe. That was kind of neat. All in all, an enjoyable place that we probably go to once every two weeks at least.

Nothing but really fattening food. I can get decent bar food at other places that isn't so fattening. Don't bother if you are watching your weight at all. I try to be careful but couldn't really here. Bucket of Shrimp was good though. Looks like a great place for drinks and sports watching. Noisy.

Nice place with a decent amount of TVs to watch football. Service was good. Enjoyed the fried pickles appetizer. I got the mac and cheese, which was pretty good. Nice beer menu with plenty of options. Price is very reasonable and I definitely would come back again

We discovered this one on our way out to Plymouth Whalers' games. It's a good pre-game dinner stop for us, especially if we can get in before 6 p.m. (when the place is already hopping on a weekend evening, but a wee bit ahead of the time when it gets a bit more crowded and you might have to wait a bit for a seat--getting out of dinner on time is important on a game night!). Among my menu faves? Pickles and burgers. The fried pickle appetizer-big pickle spears with Ranch dressing for dipping (I had to do this review so I could add this place to my Fried Pickle Palace list!). Burgers-Huge burgers, several varieties---served with "a pile of fries" according to their menu (and that's a fine example of truth in advertising) Then there's the mac 'n' cheese. I'm a big fan of mac 'n' cheese, and while the Bucket's rendition of this is fine, I'm not a big fan of it. The sauce seems thin, rather than creamy, and I don't particularly like the texture of the panko-crumb crust. I sometimes see the Rusty Bucket pickle guy at Whalers' games (dude could use a less lame mascot costume, though ) and the restaurant often sponsors between-game-period on-ice Rusty Bucket contests for kids--so I do appreciate their sponsorship of the team.

Nothing will blow you away here but they do several tasty standard dishes I like. They also offer up a wide variety of foods for different tastes and dietary needs and that works for me. I appreciate a place that sees to that, I know quite a few people who are gluten free or vegetarian. The Rusty Bucket also has some really good drinks and awesome customer service. My first visit here was somewhat problematic but the very sweet male host noticed our troubles and sent over the female manager on duty, who took care of it quite nicely. I wish I could remember both their names because they both deserve a good shout out. Without their attention I doubt we would have ever returned and this place would no doubt be a two rating at most based on that first stop. Luckily that visit seems to have been a fluke. We have returned twice now and all has been well. My husband is quite hooked on the chicken parm with the side of spaghetti alfredo here. It's the perfect portion for him and comes with small pieces of tasty garlic bread he likes. He also quite liked the burger and unsalted as ordered fries he ordered on one of the visits. I ordered the chicken pesto pasta here my first visit and it was an epic fail. It tasted like a salt lick and I could not for the life of me figure out why. I like salt but lordy this was easily a months worth at once. I swear I drank gallons of water for days after. The second visit I had the pan seared salmon with sauteed veggies and sticky rice. The sugar cane glaze was nice and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Rare for this type of place. I really liked the sides as well. It was a nice plate. The third try here was the meatloaf plate with the BBQ gravy on the side. It featured yummy carrots and green beans but just ok mashed potatoes and onion rings. The star of the plate was the hearty and non greasy meatloaf. Not a ton of useless filler, hurrah. The gravy I asked to be put on the side. It had a bit of a tomato soupy underlying flavor but with a snappy BBQ finish. I liked it as a dip for the meatloaf but would not have been jazzed with it poured on top. My husband likes that they have cheap bottles of Rolling Rock and a long list of premium drafts, his picks obviously vary dramatically so it works for him. I like the drink specials myself. The pineapple Finlandia cosmo was strong and happy with a liquor soaked chunk of pinapple that could knock a girl on her ass. The Herradura Silver tequila gimlet was no slouch either, if you are a margarita fan you should give this a whirl. The grape crush Caipiroska was deceptively mild but trust me, it was a trick, watch yourself. Oh and ladies if you ever have a little emergency here (which I did), they even offer freebie supplies in the very tidy ladies room. I rarely have seen this and was already digging deep into my purse for a quarter when I had discovered my personal lack of forethought. Very odd coincidence but the truth. Kudos for them rescuing me when I needed it. Overall a nice little stop.

There a lot chains competing in the "fun neighborhood" bar/restaurant category. Rusty Bucket does a much better job than the big guys like Applebees and Chilis. Staff is friendly and attentive. Beer selection is decent and they have good happy hour prices. I ordered the Rust Bucket burger. They served a good burger that wasn't overly big, which I liked. Burger had a good fresh flavor and you could taste all the components. And it wasn't greasy. Good job! But the only thing I didn't like was that I could have been sitting in any regional bar chain and never known the difference. It could have easily been a Bar Louie. Knowing that they have Cameron Mitchell as a founder and they share offices with CMR, I would expect a bit more "distinction" in the restaurant & menu.

This review was a hard one to write. Let's start with the food. I tried a multitude of things. First, was the I had the Buffalo Wings. At first they were rather dry but if you look at the bottom there is a small puddle of sauce that you can smash your wing into to get some flavor. There also could have been a larger dipping cup for the sauce, how am I suppose to dip a wing into a Thimble? At least widen it out. Next was the French Onion Soup. I have to say this was tasty, My only complaint was that it was luke warm. I would have liked it to be hotter.... and always more cheese :) The bartender (Dennis) was super nice. I've never heard of a Fried Pickle before so he got me one to try and it was definitely a treat. I would have expected some spices on it instead of just bread but the cilantro ranch as dipping sauce is rather tasty. The last item was the "cobb salad". It's not really called a cobb salad here but it's pretty much the same. The sad part is IT NEVER CAME! Regardless of the fact that I had nothing to but watch the NBA Finals, it didn't matter but I was waiting in anticipating and it only came after I asked. Luckily Dennis came to the rescue and got me the salad and took it off my check. He blamed it on himself but I know it was the cooks back there. In the end, I really like the food and service. There are a few mishaps but I'm one to give credit where credit is due. I would recommend other to go, it's great place to watch sports, take kids, and have fun! Make sure you meet Dennis and he'll take care of you all night ... (just like me!) Thanks Dennis!

We've visited three times since they've opened, but they're close enough to our house that we could easily visit more often if they were woohoo awesome. We're deep fried pickle snobs, and theirs didn't do it for us. Very firm pickles detract from the overall experience. We wouldn't get again. My absolute fav app is Bucket o' shrimp, which are spicy Old-Bay covered peel and eats. I've gotten this app all three times and it never disappoints. One time I even had it as my meal (when I wasn't starving). Nice variety of specialty salads. Good Buffalo Chicken sandwich. Family-friendly atmosphere (possibly another reason we're not regulars?). And they altered the table set-up a while ago, improving flow and personal space (before, you felt like you were at one of those hall wedding receptions where the long tables are packed too close together). Very nice drink menu (so maybe we *should* be regulars...? :-)). Daily drink specials are different (Mojito Monday, Gimlet Tuesday, etc), and the beer list is long and varied for both bottles and draft.

Took a trip to the Green Street Fair in Plymouth and after all the walking for what seemed like forever we realized that we were hungry. Since typical fair food has become a bit reactionary with my intestine we decided to brave the over inflated pricing of restaurants in the general area and go to the Rusty Bucket Corner Tavern. Much to my surprise.... this wasn't too bad of a place. For a tavern, I'd say a bit above the average. Ordered Mac & Cheese for one kid and hot dogs for 2 others, my wife had an interesting Chicken Finger BLT ( just what you'd expect from the name) and I settled in with the Bucket Hot Brown. This was house roasted turkey breast, thinly sliced and piled high on Texas toast, covered with a creamy Parmesan sauce & topped with sliced tomato and bacon. The Hot Brown was real tasty although a bit on the salty side, but that's my own fault for ordering something with lots of parm and bacon. Not the fault of the Rusty Bucket. All said... every bite was full of flavor. The Buckets roasted turkey is great, and the mix of all of these ingredients is something that needs to be tasted to be appreciated. And they had fried pickles for an appetizers. Lightly breaded, somewhat flat in flavor, but they get full credit just for having them on the menu. Rusty Bucket is a chain and I'll say it's an above average chain from what I saw. The had a very nice staff and the building itself is very clean. My only real gripe is that I felt that they were a bit on the pricey side for what I got. The Rusty Bucket is also a full blown tavern with a very nice bar area... it actually reminds me somewhat of a quaint TGIF. I didn't try their brews, maybe next time. I'll give the Rusty Bucket another shot. I'm fighting with giving this 4 stars. For now it's A-OK and I'd probably recommend that you give it a go. There's a good chance that I'll take my rating up and become a real fan.

I had lunch there for the first time yesterday. I went with my kids, ages 8 and 11. We all really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, but the best part was our waitress Christine. She was attentive, sweet and great with the kids. My tuna wrap was great and my daughter loved their homemade mac 'n' cheese. My only negative is my son had burnt pepperoni on his kid's pizza.

Thanks!

I went to the Rusty Bucket Tavern for the first time last night. I met a couple of buddies there to watch some NCAA games. I arrived around 6 and the place was packed. When I hear Tavern I am thinking pub..sports bar..something like that. The way I would describe this place is a "Family type restaurant" that has TVs and serves drinks. Maybe like Max and Ermas or Ruby Tuesdays. There were lots of families and lots of kids. Nothing wrong with that but not exactly what I was looking for. That being said the beer was cold and reasonable priced, and the food was very good. I did not get the pizza but I wish I had because it looked awesome with a thin crust. I will for sure go back again to eat....but I don`t think it is the type of place to meet your buddies to pound a few beers and watch games.

Had to update my review to 4 stars. This place is great. I've come in about 3 times over the past two weeks. I'm really starting to enjoy it even more. First off it does get busy especially when there's a game on, but that's to be expected. However the most I've had to wait for a seat was almost 10 minutes. The first time I came here the food was ok. I feel like whoever is in charge decided to step it up. Because the last 3 times have been great. I get the habenero wings, they're crispy, meaty and have an awesome flavor. Pizza is good and so is the philly cheese steak. With a good variety of beer on tap, this place is what they call 'on point'.

To be honest, nothing on the menu here really sounds appealing to me, but I don't dislike it here. It's close to home, they have a nice beer selection and its loud enough that my kids can be obnoxious without us getting looks of death from other tables. Solid place! :)

Noisy.

Close to home and the drinks were good! I drive by this place all the time and didn't even know this was here. The service was a bit slow, not sure why, they weren't that busy. I will definitely try again, and probably bring the kids!

Good was good but service was terribly slowwwwww. Good for kids, good beer menu but didn't have what I wanted (all out). Ordered the mahi mahi tacos and they were out of those too. Everything was good except the service.

To be honest, nothing on the menu here really sounds appealing to me, but I don't dislike it here. It's close to home, they have a nice beer selection and its loud enough that my kids can be obnoxious without us getting looks of death from other tables. Solid place! :)

Noisy.

Nice place with a decent amount of TVs to watch football. Service was good. Enjoyed the fried pickles appetizer. I got the mac and cheese, which was pretty good. Nice beer menu with plenty of options. Price is very reasonable and I definitely would come back again
