Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I was over at the North Center Brewery and needed a bite to eat. I saw this place was practically next door and decided to place an order for a small square pizza, and upon doing so discovered that not only will they walk it over to you, but they bring a credit card machine with them so you can pay. How cool is that? The crust was crispy and buttery without being overly greasy. The sauce was well balanced and not too sweet, and all of the toppings were flavorful and fresh. I wish there had been just a bit more cheese, but that's just a personal preference. It only took them 20 minutes to get it over to us, and I'd definitely order from them again.

Over the weekend we tried one of their square pies. All I can say is WOW! It was extremely delicious and may become our "go to" for a weekend pizza. With the closure of the Starting Gate, I think PC is the best Northville spot for pizza. It still well below the perfectness that is Buddy's, but it may be a distant second.

We went to North Center Brewing Company and were told we could order pizza in to eat there. The Pizza Cutter was highly recommended. My boyfriend stepped outside to call and order at 9:45pm, knowing they did not close until 10:30. He was told they would bring it over in 15-20 minutes. We were sitting right by the door and by 10:30 they had still not delivered. We left around 11pm without ever having got our food. I would not trust or recommend this business.

Food is pretty quick, flavor is pretty good, really fair prices, if you are in the area it's definitely a good place to stop by over the big chains!

Good subs! My boyfriend drives the 40 mins just to get a super Italian from here. I like the turkey sub. Didn't love the chicken and guac sub. Pizza is decent but subs are better. There is a lot of bread on the sub - I have to rip some off- but the bread is really good so it's not a bad problem to have. Friendly service. We like it here. For me it's a 3 star rating but taking into account how much my non-yelping boyfriend loves it - I added a star for him. Definitely try it! Much better than chain sub restaurants.

Pizza is a competitive business. I cannot image what it is like competing in this arena, and especially Detroit with the "Big 3" (Little Caesar's, Domino's, Hungry Howie's -- or Jet's). But this place holds their own. The fresh toppings were there in plentiful supply and the sauce was good too. Will get again from time to time.

Definitely some of the best pie I've ever had. My boyfriend and I had been here once before and were very pleased. Pizza was hot, fresh ingredients and really good crust. However we don't get pizza that often. Tonight we were craving pizza, and it was getting late so we looked up the hours. Online (and on the door) said open until 9:30pm on Thursdays. So we drove over there, Yet when we walked in at 9:02 we were refused service and said they were already closed. Really disappointing so it might be a while before we try again.

Teetering on a 5! Maybe it's because we are moving and I have been in a state of famish for the past three days, but the Pizza Cutter pizza has been hitting the spot this week two nights in a row! It's simple math, burn a ton of (much needed) calories hauling boxes, replenish with a couple of carbtastic meals. The Pizza Cutter is a little joint juuuust outside downtown Northville, though you can fling a pizza to where downtown starts. My husband has been telling me for years that they have such good pizza here, but has held back on getting me some for all this time. What's up with that, right? Needless to say that now that we live within a 2 mile radius, it was time to get some after a hard days work. We ordered a large round, one half with onion and mushrooms, the other half with garlic and onion. Garlic and onion is the way to go, man. Paired with a side of their dreamy, creamy, garlicky ranch it was pure heaven. So we put that order on repeat the next day. Gluttony.. we haz it. Eventually we ended up trying the square pizza here as well because my husband is difficult and the only person in our family that doesn't fully appreciate the beauty of a perfect, round crusted specimen. He even had to admit that Pizza Cutter's square is a little different. If you are looking for a big, fluffy dough base with crispy, crunchy high raised edges covered with frico'd cheese - this is not it. The square pizza reminded me of a flatbread almost, rather than aforementioned conventional style square. Many people seem to like the square here judging by other reviews, so go for it if you'd like! Don't throw away any of those pizzaboxes, though. There is a nifty little coupon on the side of the lid which you can cut out (and then you can throw the box out.. ). For every 12 pizzas you buy, you receive a free medium pizza (with those 12 little tabs).

When I moved to Northville in 1982, this is one of the very first businesses I patronized. In fact, it was the first local phone number I committed to memory and it has served me well over the years. Growing up in Dearborn during the 50s and 60s with lots of Italian neighbors, I got to enjoy some really good family-run pizzerias and Pizza Cutter has fueled my pizza addiction since. They make square and round pies - it's impossible to say which is better. Pizza Cutter's number is in my cell phone so I can call from my car and pick up the pie on the way home. A great business producing a consistently fine product. A real asset to the Northville community.

Definitely not worth the hour and ten minute wait. Was excited to try this place but was hugely disappointed in the pizza. What little sauce there was was bland. Just an overhaul bad pizza and bad experience

Got this last night for thet Super Bowl and boy this didn't disappoint! I got a medium pizza and an order or their breadsticks and it sure hit the spot! I'm tired of the chain pizzas, it's all about the small hometown feel! One of the best pizza joints around!

Reviews on here are a little dated so figured I'd chime in. I ordered some food from here once probably about 9 to 10 months ago. Yeah that's a long time to wait for a review, so take this with a grain of salt. Stopped in with my lady and placed an order. Girl behind the counter wasn't really friendly and when I asked if they had blue cheese she kind of got annoyed. I noticed there was one older guy, maybe the owner, working in the kitchen. Everyone else was probably in high school or just graduated. From what I remember all girls too. Got our food, was a little on the pricier side for pizza and wings but since it's a locally owned place it was ok. Got home and dug in. Wings were weak and sauce was not hot. Pizza was ok but not the best I've had. I guess it says something when we've only been here once... Might try again some day but with so many pizza places around, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Great pizza and subs as they always have! Unfortunately you should not ask them for more than six pies on a Friday due to the fact they are too busy to make more money :(

I'd recommend sticking to the square. I love this place and always pick one up when I stop by my hometown. This is a major mom and pop bargain. Don't bother ordering extra cheese because you already get it, and the mix is very flavorful. I worked at Papa Romanos(another city) as a driver for awhile and the rumor was that there was a falling out and this is the original style. This is actually pretty common amongst Detroit style pizzerias so I don't doubt it. They are similar, but this is by far the best.

My favorite pizza out there. Their ham is simply amazing, get it on your pizza. Trust me.

This is my favorite pizza - of all time! We even lived in Chicago for nearly a decade and I would often find myself wishing for a perfect (square or round) Pizza Cutter pizza! The owners are also lovely, hardworking people/family. The pizzas are perfect! I enjoy the square with pepperoni (keeping it simple) or the round with ham, pineapple, and mushrooms...but everyone has a favorite pie, and when done Pizza Cutter you won't be disappointed!

wanted to try a new pizza place, kinda wish i hadnt .... was pretty disappointed in Pizza Cutter. My 1st impression was over the phone when i called to place an order and the young man i gave my order to was short and kind of rude. The Pizza wasn't very tasty neither was the bread - very unimpressed.
