Our 1st time visiting village pizza and bbq wil definitely be back. Order pizza and broasted chicken and enjoyed it outside on the patio.

Came with two friends after we spent the day at the Milford Memories Arts and Crafts Fair.... It's a neat little restaurant. It's basically a pizza place, but they offer sandwiches/subs, calzones, broasted chicken, pasta, salads and appetizers (of the fried kind). It's a fun place to visit in the summer. While there isn't much indoor seating (at all), the covered patio makes for a nice place to take a break and get something to eat! All three of us were extremely happy with our selections. We ended up getting a chicken Parmesan calzone, ham and cheese sub, and broasted chicken breast, and Greek salad. I ended up with the ham and cheese sub and it was delicious. I can't say enough about the bread of the sub. It was the freshest bread I've ever had. I don't make it up to Milford all that often, but I would be sure to stop again if I were visiting this quaint town!

Been here twice, chicken, potatoes, cole slaw, bread sticks and shrimp are all great! Can't wait to try the pizza and ribs! I will be back!! Great portions for the price :)

This stuff is off the hook. Fresh shrooms and a generous amount of cheese equals palate heaven. I have had the chicken and it made me cluck, wings made me fly and the bread sticks are amazing. You must try this place because you will like it better than Jet's.

We found this place by accident but now go out of our way to get pizza. My son says its the best pizza he's ever had. It is so good and great customer service to boot. A hidden gem :)

I have been here many times and have never been disappointed. They have great deep dish pizza, BBQ chicken is my favorite. I also like their salads, fresh veggies and awesome ranch!! It seems to be family owned which is also fantastic, I like "mom and pop" shops.

Long story short, simply amazing! Clean and quick with quality food to follow! I most definitely recommend you to try this place!

This is not a "5 star expect the French Laundry" review - but 5 stars for being the best at what they do. I have been passing Village BBQ and Pizza for a long time now and just recently decided to give it a try. I'm sorry it took me so long to give them a chance! Their deep dish pizza is excellent. I am most impressed by the cleanliness and the freshness of everything they make. Every time I have stopped in (about 3 times now) there are always people chopping, prepping & cleaning. It's SO NICE to see that they're not using prepackaged/chopped junk! Stopped in today to grab a slice and they were out so I tried the Italian Sub. It was classic - had that great salami/ham/lettuce/Italian dressing taste on fresh crispy warm bread. One of these days I'll get around to trying their broasted chicken and potatoes as it always smells great when I stop in. Skip the chains and stop in at this great local joint! I think my only criticism would be to drop the BBQ as they're really not a BBQ joint (the only BBQ I see on the menu is ribs.)

I work in Milford and love going to this place for pizza. The food is fresh and very good. You get a ton of food there compared to Jetts, or Papa Romano's. Their chicken is moist and crispy. I've been there many times and have catered events. The owners have bent over backwards for us. The staff is very friendly also

Nice variety of food. I personally am not a fan of their pizza. I do not like their pizza sauce or crust, but my husband adores it. I do love their lasagna dinner. For $10 I get a good sized lasagna and breadsticks in the comfort of my home. The broasted chicken and potatoes are also tasty for a larger group.

I've gotten pizza here a few times since they stopped being Papa Romanos and started being... Papa Romanos without the franchise fees... It's as good as ever, as far as deep dish pizza goes, and their cheese bread is better than before. Way better... The staff is insanely polite, almost to the point of being creepy. I guess that's good in this day and age - and this town. When they changed the name, I was worried that it wouldn't be as good as it had been, but I was wrong for doubting and wrong for staying away for so long.

I have gone there a couple times previously for Pizza and it was good. Then I went for some fried chicken b/c their ads made the chicken look great. But when I got the chicken it wasn't as good as expected. The Broiler boxes that they put the chicken combos in makes the chicken get soggy. They place the 4pc chicken in the bottom with no liner on the bottom then throw the potatoes on a liner and on top of the chicken, then they just throw 5 breadsticks on top of the potatoes. I guess they have to save the boxes, but they should invest in some smaller boxes so each item comes separate and it doesn't get soggy. The chicken itself was not as great as expected, but the potatoes were really good. The breadsticks are not that great b/c I am more of a fan of the bread part not the 1000mg of salt per stick. The price though is good for 4pc chicken, half pound potatoes, and 5 breadsticks: ~$9. I would pick the Milford House (Main St. and Commerce Rd.) over the Village Pizza. Their boxes make it so that it isn't soggy and their chicken I KNOW is completely home cooked. I do like the area and scenery inside the place. I will probably go here again but it didn't live up to the expectations from their advertisements.

It's been a while since the changeover, and this place needs a current review. Right off the bat, everything positive I had to say about the pizza is as true today as it was back in 2011. Toppings are still fresh and seem to be cut in the store. The pizza sauce has changed a bit from the original, and is truly stellar now. Easily the best pizza in Milford. The specialty pizzas are kind of unique compared to what chains offer, but they're definitely interesting. If you're up for a culinary challenge, I'd suggest going for the Seafood pizza or Buffalo Chicken pizza. And now, online ordering has happened, and it's opened a whole new dimension. For example, it never would have occurred to me to add meatballs to the chicken parmesan, but I saw the option there online and WOW, is it excellent! Sandwiches are as good as ever, but the menu has branched out since the original review, there's probably something here to make everyone happy. Staff seems to be pretty stable, and I've yet to encounter an employee who wasn't totally polite and professional. If you're lucky on a pick-up, the owner will be around, and she's incredibly nice. If you haven't been here yet, you're totally missing out.

Based on the reviews I decided to give this place a try. I was having about 30-40 family members over for my sons 4th birthday party. I needed pizza, and a lot of it. I also thought I would try and get the broasted chicken tenders for the kids. I asked them to deliver the food at 4:30, and you know what? They were here at 4:30. The food was piping hot, the order was right, and the food was great. Not only did I love it, but my guests all loved it too. The "yelpers" are right about this place. A+++ all the way. So happy I found this place

VERY pleased with my first experience, enough so to write this review. My deep dish pizza was the best I've had in years. The sauce was really great, very flavorful. They used fresh mushrooms and lots of them as well as the pepperoni, no skimping at this place! The Greek salad was delicious too. I'll never order from the other places near me again.
