Every time I come into the zoo I HAVE to stop here. It's a little hole in the wall sub shop but don't let that fool you the subs are in my opinion out of this world good. If you stop here make sure you get it heated up because that is where the magic is. I have been coming here for over 10 years now and I'm surprised I haven't rated this place yet. Now that I've moved to Detroit when ever I come into town it's a must. Also they have a pac man table for a quarter a game which takes me back to my early childhood. If you haven't tried it I most definitely urge you to. It's delicious and has a soft place in my heart (and belly!)

I stop by here to take advantage of their daily sub specials. There are so many options to choose from and I've never found better combinations! I like the dive feel here because there is no way to feel like you're out of place, no matter what time of day or night. The staff is always a young college age crew and they are upbeat and energetic, which makes you feel young. When you're looking for a quick bite with the taste you're looking for... This is he place.

I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years. it seems the quality is getting less than what it used to be. lots of times the lettuce is brown on the subs. I went there yesterday and ordered a large sub. unfortunately when I got out to my vehicle and opened it up it had a hair in it the full length of the sub. I would suggest that when the people are cutting the meat they wear a hairnet. I definitely won't be going back for a long time

Wally's is a weekly visit for me. The first time I visited, I made the mistake of imposing my expectations on their menu, and I ended up disappointed. When I started a search for a new lunch spot between KVCC and town, I figured they were worth a second chance. This time I let them tell me what I want (they've got a sign that says "Try our Italian Sub!"), and I've been a devotee ever since. Wally's isn't fancy-pants, gourmet food -- it's real-people food for a real-people clientele. Free range quail confit and organic cress on ciabatta with truffle aioli? No. Ham and cheese on wheat? Yes. I've explored their menu only a bit, because I keep coming back to their Italian sub (on white bread, with hot peppers). I wouldn't change a thing about it, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. I should also mention that the staff are startlingly efficient. They've got the order taking-and-recording system down to a science. I'm a regular now, so they know my order, but before I was I rattled off my order as quick as I could ("large Italian on white with everything, add hot peppers, cold, to go") and they didn't miss a thing. Whenever I tell people I'm a regular at Wally's, they say "Oh, that place on Stadium? I've driven past it a hundred times but I've never been in." I tell them to stop driving past. I did, and I'm hooked.

Always great service. Always great food. great dive type restaurant in oshtemo! don't be turned off by the atmosphere it's a bit outdated but is what makes this sandwich shop so unique. Not too expensive for such great food. I recommend the Italian, but can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Don't pass this one by.
