For a chain restaurant, Olive Garden continues to impress me. I usually don't like chains, but Olive Garden is always good food. This location in Jackson tends to have good food, good service, and clean restrooms. The staff is also friendly. I ate here this week for lunch and ordered the spaghetti with marinara sauce. My pasta arrived with meat sauce, but the waiter quickly had this fixed. The dish was very good, and the salad with unlimited bread sticks topped off my meal. I will be coming back for another meal soon.

What food at Olive Garden can anyone not make at home for a quarter of the price? Until OG learns how to make breadsticks that don't taste like bland white bread I'll continue to frequent Fazolios.

We arrived at a busy time but were promptly seated. We ordered and one meal came quickly, the other was delayed about twenty minutes. Upon pointing the delay out to our waitress she involved the manager, Dustin, who quickly rectified the problem and took care of us. He turned a bad situation around to a good reason for us to return. Well done Dustin!

We often meet at this location for lunch. It's about halfway for my dad and I. We've never had a bad experience here. The good is always as we expect. This last time our waitress was a little...Mmm pushy, maybe? It wasn't anything we couldn't handle bit got to be a little much at times. Other than some quirky staff members I think this has been close to perfect.

It is sad that I have to post a review like this for the Jackson Olive Garden, I, my husband and kids ate here from the opening of it, the service and the food has declined every time since then, the first time we ate here we left a 50.00 tip the last time I wanted to leave none,we did but not much, the pasta is horrid, like eating glue, I had kids that would fill up on the bread sticks, no more, even they come with a bad attitude , talking to the manager is like talking to the wall.

The service here was...intense? Our waitress was so spunky we didn't really know how to handle it haha. She also really wanted us to have an interactive experience - I've heard that Olive Garden has made a lot of changes recently in it's marketing/customer service so maybe this was part of it. She asked us about every detail like if we wanted her to just bring us more soup or if we wanted her to ask us first and how much ice we wanted when she poured our water, exactly how much dressing we wanted on the salad and eventually it was kind of annoying. We really just wanted her to bring us food and water in whatever manner she felt was appropriate... Also I have never heard the phrases, "M'lady," and, "Can I cheese you up?" used so frequently in my life. She was super nice though and maybe this would be a good experience for people more decisive than ourselves. I always get soup, salad and breadsticks if I go to Olive Garden, and as always they were delicious. Some of their new things like the 2/25 deal and the small bites options looked pretty good though, and would probably be worth trying.

The salad is good. The meal quickly devolves into globs of cheesy covered pasta with a piece of over cooked chicken with no flavor. The staff is friendly.

Much improved from recent visits. Bartender was just friendly enough without being overbearing. Made a great wine recommendation. Food though was greatly improved. The chicken scampi actually had bell peppers in it! Seems like lately food had just been thrown together and skimped on the details but this time it was picture perfect! It is still Olive Garden though so 4 stars is about were you can max out.

Not for the food... Just bad service. It's olive garden so you know what its going to taste like... We had the slowest service of all-time tonight and they sat my party which included my grandparents at the vary back of the restaurant even though both clearly needed help walking an extended distance... Pretty bad when the table that comes in 10 minutes behind you gets their food before your waitress brings you back your wine samples to order your drinks. She didn't even run our food she was so slow... Somebody else had to do it for her and she never showed up again until just before the end of the meal when she asked if we'd like more drinks, and true to form she didn't drop off my grandpa and cousins second round until she dropped off the bill. It's Christmas so we still tipped like civilized people but as a server it's the first time in a very long time where I didn't even feel a gratuity was necessary. I wish I was kidding.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
