Best Prime Rib and Kansas City Ribs in town!!! Finleys has special oven just for ribs and prime rib. Good American fare at decent prices. Good service. Clean with TVs scattered throughout. Menu is a bit "stale" and needs updating. They do have Call Ahead seating which is recommended on weekends or you may end up waiting an hour.

Horrible food and service. Brisket tasted like it was boiled. The sausage tasted like supermarket 2 for $5. Do not get the vegetables. They are inedible, feezer burned and overcooked. Our server was obviously upset about working labor day because she didn't care at all. I would not have served that food.

I went there today and had to wait for over 5 minutes before seeing a hostess just to out our name in. That kind of annoyed me. The food was really good though and I love the fresh bread

They serve spoiled dressing on the salads and main dishes. Paid 50$ for the Hersey squirts. How sad what restaurants have become :(

This place is always busy, and packed with a regular crowed. However, the crowd seems to be older, and the mangment does an excellent job catering to them. In general the food wasn't seasoned well, and I was forced to question some of the homemade claims. I had the 1/2 slab of ribs ($13.99), with sauce on the side. They are advertised as the best ribs money can buy. Um... not quite. Not being slathered in sauce you could tell they were baked... ribs slid out easily, but were a bit dry. I did not finish them. I ordered the butter nut squash, but it came out as a puree' in the consistency of baby food. We were told it was the most popular side dish... YUCK! I was told there was a $1.00 upcharge to get a side salad... really? Are you kidding me? But then she didn't charge me the upcharge... THANK YOU KELSEY! She was actually a very bright spot on our experience. We also had the "homemade" beef-tomato soup of the day. Although it said homemade, it tasted like Chef-boy-ardee Beef-a-Roni, and had the distinct taste of tomato products in a can. The turkey sandwich was the best thing on the table, and was average at best. We followed up with a miniature apple crumble a la mode. There was hardly any crumble at all... and the rest was meh. This place has a strong local following and support, and caters to their taste and needs. If you fall into this category, you might actually love this place... the people are friendly, the aisles are wide, and the place is well lit with contemporary music in a quite background atmosphere. You also get a free steak on your birthday... and that's hard to beat. However, if that isn't your demographic... you will probably wind up writing an unflattering review like me... although I felt 1 Star, it gets 2 for doing what it does best. Although not my type of place... it knows its target market!

Food was pretty good, but I drove to this Finley's location to meet a friend at halfway point--we were both driving about 45 minutes from different directions to meet there. We chose Finley's because I had a Finley's gift card. Interestingly, after our meal, when I handed the waitress the gift card, she came back and said their system was down, so it couldn't verify there was $50 on the card. She asked if we would be willing to pay in cash instead, then come back another time to use the gift card. I emphatically stated "No," that we only met that this location because of the gift card, and we did not know when we would ever be coming back. The waitress walked away, and guess what? Amazingly, within 2 minutes she came back and said their system was up, and they could take our gift card. Coincidence? I do not know, but it made me suspect they were trying to generate repeat business by forcing us to return. It had a shady feeling to it.

Went there and got the worst meal I've ever had. I ordered the steak and shrimp dinner. The steak was put on the grill and never turned so it was burnt on one side and not grilled on the other; I also ordered it medium rare and it was at least medium or medium well. The lobster was so over cooked it was like rubber and the mashed potatoes had to be cut with a knife. When I sent the lobster back, the second one was almost just as bad. Will not be returning there any time soon.

It's advertised as a family place to eat and it is if you want a meal that is subpar. They give you free 6 oz. steak or chicken on your birthday but it's not that good. Lack of seasonings & spices & I have wondered about the freshness of the food in general. This place is always crowded but I don't know why. It's very over rated. It is located near Westwood mall but that's all it has going for it

This meal was in the top 5 worst meals I have ever eaten. I had a seafood meal that came with shrimp, salmon, and some ranch french fries. The salmon was at least few days past its prime, was a little overcooked, and tasted overwhelmingly like promise spread. Seriously, who thinks it's a good idea to cook with that crap. The shrimp were greasy and tasted like rancid oil. The fries tasted a lot like the shrimp except with ranch powder sprinkled over them. I will never be eating here again.

A coworker and I stopped for lunch here today. My coworker loves this place. It was my first time. Initially, I was impressed. It was 12:30 and the place was packed. We were seated immediately, and the manager came over to greet us. He asked if it was our 1st visit, and when I said it was mine, he welcomed me. Both the hostess and the manager said our waitress (by name) would be over shortly, and the manager got our drinks. Our waitress arrived very flustered and talking incredibly fast. This girl needed to breathe! She was definitely working hard, and kept a very bubbly tone. We both ordered the Clam Chowder. I ordered the Turkey, Artichoke & Spinach sandwich on a pretzel roll, and my coworker ordered a salad. The menu states that they make their soups from scratch daily. Our soup came immediately. Super hot and very hearty. I thought it was really good and was impressed with the flavor and the clam was plentiful. As soon as we finished, the hostess cleared our plates. I liked that there seemed to be a sense of team work to maintain good customer service. Then things started to go downhill. My coworker's salad came, but no sandwich. Our waitress was still running around frantically serving her tables, so we couldn't get her attention. The manager walked by twice without noticing anything. Finally we caught the hostess and she went to check on it. A minute later, our waitress came out with the sandwich. It was a little disappointing. Not a whole lot of meat on the sandwich at all, and it was basically a few slices of deli meat w/ artichoke/spinach dip spread over it. On the side was shredded lettuce, some onion, and a very sad, limpy slice of tomato. Blech. The pretzel roll was pretty good, but no salt on top. Not a big deal though. At least my coworker's salad looked really good. They seem to have pretty good drink specials, although I couldn't take advantage of them because I was on the clock. Apparently it's $3 wine, $2 cocktails, and $1 beer all day/everyday. The beer was either Bud or Bud light. The cocktails seemed to pretty much cover everything. I'm not sure about the wine selection. They also had Bell's Oberon available (not for the special). I think the 3rd star is because they really did try to give great customer service. I appreciated that the manager and our server welcomed me after finding out this was my 1st visit. Everyone was very friendly, and made a good solid effort, even if the waitress was overwhelmed and fell a little short.

FInley's is not a place you go for *good* food, but simply food. Moderately priced for a fair amount of food. The Bread is hot, and sometimes even fresh. Don't listen to your mom and fill up on that. Oddly enough full alcohol service, but no visible bar. This means your drinks are being poured by waitresses whom may not understand what a jigger is. Free dinner on your birthday, so you got that going for ya.
