This my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in town. It is right around the corner from my house. Jon knows my family by name, and his son went to school with my youngest brother. The prices are reasonable, and they are more than willing to customize your food to your liking.

Mediocre food, nothing tasted horrible, but nothing was awesome either. The General Two Chicken had no heat or tang at all. Server was sweet, but she was the only server there and the place was busy. There is no way to provide good service when you are all alone.

By far the best Chinese in Jackson (but not much to choose from). The owner Jon knows most people by name which is quite impressive. When I eat in there is usually a high school student helping and the service is fine. I enjoy a small restaurant that has Dr.pepper. When I get take out I usually see Jon and he is great! The food is hot and tastes good. I usually have the Orange chicken which had a little bit of kick. I sometimes get the lo main, but I wouldn't recommend it. The noodles lack amy flavor.

Orange chicken is very good! I thought $11.75 for my meal with an egg roll was on the expensive side but it was enough for two ppl. My husband doesnt like chinese and thought it was very good as well.

The best! Food is fresh, promptly served, and Jon always remembers us. The hot and sour soup is a family favorite. I am diet conscious, and like to order the steamed chicken and veggies with sauce on the side.

This is the best Chinese Jackson has to offer! Great selection, fair pricing, and the most consistent food quality. I have been going to China House for over ten years and have never been disappointed. The staff is fantastically accommodating. Worth the drive to South Jackson. If you are a first timer, get the crab rangoon!

Excellent food... and I enjoyed my date (My Mother In law). The only thing that was lacking was the service. As nice as the young lady was she did not keep our drinks filled and was never their to ask if we needed anything else. Oh... like napkins :) But the food is excellent and they have very unique "Crab rangoon" and try the cashew chicken.awesome!

Great food every time. Best in Jackson by far. Consistently good value. John is very friendly and works hard to accommodate his customers. The chicken fried rice is great. If you get the dinner, you'll be able to enjoy it the next day too as the portions are generous.

This is one of our favorite places to take the family out to eat. The service is the highlight here. Never crowded or unkept. Solid wait staff and consistent good food at a great price. Our kids love that we can sit at the same table every time we visit.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
