This place reminded me of Cheers bar on tv. Very relaxed amd comfortable. The gentleman that we assumed owned the resturant was very quick to accommodate 12 people 4 of which were kids. The food was great. Really wasnt for sure what to expect when we walked in but were extreamly pleased when we left. Maybe we will see you again next year. Thank you!
This place is very cool, everything from the food the the wood floor is from Michigan. The jalapeño poppers were awesome and spicy. The bbq bourbon pizza was delicious! The beer selection is amazing. The service is also on point. This place is a true gem. I'm not a local but if I was I would be here all of the time.
The atmosphere is great and it is really casual. Went here for a date night with the wife and it was really comfortable and friendly. The people that work here have a great attitude!! I would highly recommend to other to come down here and try it out. Not to mention they have Two Hearted Ale, BONUS!

Try the Jr burger. Has Jalapeño and onion mixed and cooked inside the burger! If u don't like to much spice... Change the cheese from pepper jack to cheddar. :) So yummy! Just wait till after 4pm for the best food & service!
Friendly and folksy. One side has pool tables. The other side has sports on TV and video keno. I enjoyed my stop in while on family vacation.

I had the fettuccine alfredo and it was really good. My only complaint is the small portion size of the meals. My meal cost $12.99 but I added an extra $2.00 to add chicken. I expected to have a decent size portion to share with my 1 year old for that price but was disappointed when they set the bowl in front of me.
I had kale salad with pink grapefruit, citrus vinagrette, grilledvchicken. Loved it. Fresh food, great flavors. Cut town.
Definitely a great place to grab food if you're in Hastings. Never thought I'd be raving about a little local restaurant in this somewhat unknown town..but it was great! My friend and I split a bottle of Pinot Noir. I had some great pasta dish - eggplant parm with linguine. She had a gluten-free options. Her son had the mac & cheese. It was high quality food, freshly made, and big servings. The salads came before the meal and they were good lettuce (not just the cheap iceberg). Service was warm and friendly. We definitely were noticed as being "out-of-towners" but enjoyed every bit of this experience. Definitely go here if you're in Hastings!

We were in Hastings for a family reunion. We ate breakfast at three different restaurants while there. Mills Landing was our favorite. The food was great, the service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. This is definitely a locals restaurant, the servers knew everyone's names, birthdays, etc. The first day we were there we were treated like family. The second day we were there, we were recognized and acknowledged as coming back. How often does that happen. A true treasure of a restaurant.
I have been here a few times now for breakfast. I cannot vouch for anything other than that. As far as the breakfast goes I have been pleased so far. You will pay a couple bucks more than some of the other places in town. Very nice omelet selection, they have both waffles and pancakes too. They also do eggs Benedict which most places don't do. The place is always clean and the staff has always been friendly. If you want a good breakfast in a clean friendly restaurant swing in.
Standard breakfast place, nothing fancy or outstanding here. Just friendly small town service.

Not only can you get a cup of excellent coffee here, but the muffin to go with it. Or ice cream in the summer. And fresh whole coffee beans. This is a great place that helps the community by participating in fund-raising for good, non-controversial causes. They stay open late once a month or so to let the Hastings Community Music School hold recitals.
Got a coffee to-go, but the place looked pretty cool. Lots of activity for a small town coffee shop. Restored old building in downtown Hastings.
Great place to get coffee. Staff is friendly and the coffee is great. Prices are reasonable for the quality of coffee you are getting. The muffins are good too. Really love the atmosphere of the place. If you get the chance stop in you won't be disappointed at all.

My husband and I were very impressed with the prices, the freshness, the quality, and the service at this little restaurant. We would go back anytime we are in the area. It was delicious! They are generous with their toppings and the flavor of the sauces were authentic.
Love this place. As soon as you walk in, you're asked to sit wherever you'd like. We usually choose a corner booth, and someone is there with a bowl of chips and salsa within a minute, ready to take drink orders. The food is consistently good, the veggies are fresh and my wet burrito loaded with cheese just the way I like it. It's not perfect, but it's as close to authentic as I've found so far. Take Out is great too, the containers are stuffed full of beans, rice, and guacamole to fill in what your order doesn't. Prices are fair, and I have never gotten sick while eating here.
Chimichanga is good. But the refill service is slow and all of the non fried food tastes the same. Definitely not authentic Mexican but it's decent. Prices are good. Your clothes will smell like Mexican food all day though

This place is now the State St. Diner. The restaurant was clean, the food tasty. However, they had a sever fruit fly problem with the salad bar. The staff was pleasent.
Fast, friendly service in this locally owned restaurant. You will often find the owners working alongside the wait staff.

1st off......I will say the food was very good. We each ordered soup and house salad. Great flavor for both. The reason I gave it only 2 stars....POOR SERVICE! No hostess at door....when a table was available, the waitress didn't come get us.....she yelled across the room for us to sit down. Took our drink order and came back 12 minutes later with the wrong drinks. It went down hill from there......another 35 minutes passed prior to getting the food....by now we needed refills.....which took another 10 minutes to get. When our food was brought out to us.....we didn't have any silverware and she just walked away. Had to get up and take them from other tables. Not once she she come back and check on us....until we had to stop her and ask for more napkins and dressing...which she seemed pissed off to get us. When we got the check there was a customer card with our bill.....I filled it out and it said to drop in box on the way out....funny thing: No box in site. While I am not offended by sayings on T-shirts.....there was a family ahead of us with younger children....who pointed out that a guy making the beer had a shirt on that had the work f*ck on it in several places.....my only question is.....where is the manager of this place???? This place really needs Restuarant Steakout
Firstly, one of the two BEST gluten free pizza's/cheese breads I've ever had! The amazing part is it's a local brewpub in a small town! Who knew gf could rock so well in a little local place? I was blown away with the gf choices. They have gf pasta which consists of HUGE portions and the pizza is the stuff legends are made of! Seriously THAT good! It's a brewpub and it's a little loud but the servers all hustle, (they work hard for their money!), drinks are strong and inexpensive and the food is amazing! I ate here twice as opposed to trying another restaurant! I've tried: GF Garlic and cheese "sticks" : This is garlic cheese bread and OMG good! GF Bowtie Florentine: With Bacon, Spinach and shallots and roasted garlic. An alfredo sauce and grilled chicken. (Did I say HUGE? You're seriously eating the rest for lunch tomorrow.) GF #5 Cheesy Pizza with five different cheeses, including goat cheese. Clearly a huge winner in the amazing category! You have to try this! I had a Margatini.......I think they called it. Oh, gotta have one or several! Very strong and a deal at less than $7! I was with regular (not gf) diners and they loved their food as well. In fact, our group of 21 were all very satisfied and how often does that happen? I would even go back to Michigan in the winter for this pizza. No, wait, I'd even have this pizza sent to Phoenix in the winter and pay to overnight it!!!! It's that good! (Let's be serious, I am NOT going to Michigan in the winter.)
The turkey burger, sweet potato fries and the house salad with the honey balsamic dressing is awesome .......BUT the service is TERRIBLE - EVERY TIME I GO!! They are slow with making food and the servers are sitting in booths with friends chatting and don't return to check on their tables to the point I had to get up and ask for what I needed. I served tables for four years in college and would have made no money if I provided this kind of service. I appreciate the laid back atmosphere but doesn't mean the customer service needs to be lacking!

On a drive between airports we found this place on yelp. Worth every star. Had the triple threat and was pleasantly surprised. Fantastic sandwich.
Definitely one of the better locations. Service is quick, even when it's busy. Food is consistently good, and always hot out of the oven when we order. My friend used to work here, so I know how clean the kitchen stays. We've had delivery from here several times as well, and the driver is always good to follow our careful directions (we live on a private road in the middle of nowhere). As far as a chain pizza place, they do pretty well here and you won't be disappointed if you need some quick pizza.
I ordered a pan pizza and I got what appeared to be either a traditional or thin crust. It was also missing the bacon that I had added. I called them back and they nicely offered to make another one for no charge. I picked up the second one and it was exactly the same. It was flavorless, undercooked, NOT pan pizza, and had about two small morsels of bacon on it. I'm not sure if this is the fault of this particular Pizza Hut, or if this is what passes for pizza at all Pizza Huts now. This is not the Pizza Hut I remember. Pizza Hut used to have decent pizza. I do have to say that the lady I spoke with was very nice. It's just a shame the pizza here sucked. I'm glad there are other choices in town for pizza.
