This place reminded me of Cheers bar on tv. Very relaxed amd comfortable. The gentleman that we assumed owned the resturant was very quick to accommodate 12 people 4 of which were kids. The food was great. Really wasnt for sure what to expect when we walked in but were extreamly pleased when we left. Maybe we will see you again next year. Thank you!

This place is very cool, everything from the food the the wood floor is from Michigan. The jalapeño poppers were awesome and spicy. The bbq bourbon pizza was delicious! The beer selection is amazing. The service is also on point. This place is a true gem. I'm not a local but if I was I would be here all of the time.

The atmosphere is great and it is really casual. Went here for a date night with the wife and it was really comfortable and friendly. The people that work here have a great attitude!! I would highly recommend to other to come down here and try it out. Not to mention they have Two Hearted Ale, BONUS!

Cute place, decent service. Ribs were spicier than I prefer, but the accompanying smashed potatoes and beans more than made up for it. Chicken burrito was delicious, as were the breadsticks. Keep in mind this is a very small place, so don't go with a group larger than 6, if you want to sit together when they're busy.

Best pizza I have ever had. The ribs were not what I expected. I had hoped for better than mine. The sandwiches are wonderful also.

The BBQ pork pizza was delicious. Very friendly staff and fun atmosphere. If you are up for a challenge get the poppers. They are wrapped in bacon and delish, but hot! Nice selection of seasonal beer too. It might be considered a biker bar because of decor. It's a smoke house so excellent BBQ and they have carry out. We'll be back.

House made smoked Pork and Beef Brisket. Pizza was very good - dare i say gourmet. This cozy restaurant serves up a delicious product and Courtney the bartender doesn't disappoint with her cheery smile and food recommendations. Stop on by for many local beers served on tap.

Right when you walk in, you just smell smoke and pizza. Makes my mouth water just opening the door. We took a seat at one of the tables that was made from polished cement and lined with river stones. The decor is very rustic, there are some oil cans up on a shelf that they found while renovating the building and kept them. The bar is decently sized, and they had a lot of good brews on tap. They also had iced coffee, cold bottles of beer, and a few other specialty drinks. There were 3 separate menus, but once we got it figured out it was pretty straightforward. Mom and stepdad got sandwiches (served with fresh kettle chips and coleslaw). My sister's boyfriend went with us, he got a BBQ chicken pizza, while my fiance and I split a 20 inch meat lovers. We also got the bacon wrapped jalapenos as an appetizer, they were quite spicy but very good. I'm excited to go back and try their pulled pork, to see if it stacks up to mine. It does seem like a smaller place, Mom said we would have gone to Richies instead since it's sometimes packed by the time you get in there.

Wow, what a place. I love the smell when you walk in. I got a pizza and it was killer! One of the best I've ever had. The wife got the ribs, and I got to try some. They're not the boiled and then cooked ribs like most of the places are. These are real smoked ribs and are the best I've ever had, period! The coleslaw was excellent the smashed potatoes amazing, and the house made beans just as good. This is a place that I will be going to many more time, many! Thanks Vinnies for a great dinner.

Great service, very clean also. It's definitely a laid back place to go and kick back a few cold ones. Good beer selection on tap, when I was in they had Atwater, Shorts, and Perrine to name a few. I had the brisket sandwich and also the chilli both were very good! I highly recommend coming here.

Small, but charming. Very friendly inside. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Only 2 little complaints on the menu: No options to just order meat and a side like most BBQ places, and the chef clearly likes mushrooms because they're one almost everything. (I know some would view that last one as a plus, but I really don't care for mushrooms) I had the the buffalo chicken dip for a starter and it was quite good. Tasted just like the real stuff my friends in Buffalo make. My main was the brisket sandwich. Very tasty. Brisket was tender and smokey. Would have wished to add my own sauce as I usually prefer a dry smoked brisket with only a little sauce, but it wasn't overly done. BBQ sauce was pretty good too, I opted for the sweet one. Kettle chips were good too. Overall, would recommend and If like to come back and try one of their yummy sounding pizzas.

Pizza looked great and the place smelled fantastic. I had the poppers and some smoke came off my head. Then I had a wrap and it was also good. The place is small but atmosphere friendly.

So as I indicated in my first review, I wanted to return and so I did. I am happy to report that I was greeted this time upon sitting at the bar and thus I was able to have have a meal. Here is what makes this place a good place to enjoy a meal: The decor is very nice. It is upscale throwback. I like the specials displayed on an up-cycled old wooden door along with the hard slabbed bar surface trimmed with copper. All over is a tasteful blend of wood, metal and brick. The staff was friendly and attentive. As mentioned in first review it has a good vibe. Food came out quick and was of decent portportions. My son ordered the bbq brisket sandwich. I had the pulled pork. We both agreed it meat was tender and moist with a fair amount of smoke flavor. The bbq sauce seemed home-made. More sweet than vinegar based and I like that. The bun was well matched to the sandwich. Coleslaw was good in that it seemed to be done in house, rough cut not minced with a semi-lite creamy dressing. Here is what makes it not quite 5 stars: I am a french fry guy not chips. They were good kettle chips (although I suggest sprinkle a salt and pepper seasoning for added flavor) but fries make a meal. They need a printed beer list. When I asked our waitress about beers available she indicated for us to look at draft handles. Now she was a nice waitress so this was not done rudely but this is not a good method. As when I asked what type of beer was the Pike 51 brew she did not know nor could I tell. Luckily the other waitress offered for me to try it. Also, I noticed, and only because I was at the bar, that their bar fridge was stocked with other bottled craft beers on a second shelf but I was never told of them. If I was dining elsewhere I would not know of them. So I strongly suggest a beer list or better yet up-cycle another door, hang it on one of the walls and list the tap beers and bottled craft beers. I like their bbq sauce but I did not see other choices. My wife is a mustard and vinegar based bbq gal. I would like to see a four pack variety of sauces. As stated meat was moist and good smoke flavor but it needed a touch more. I did not see a decent red smoke ring on the brisket. Perhaps they only fire up the big smoker on the weekends as I see they only offer ribs on the weekends. So this a worthwhile place to enjoy a meal with a little room for improvement. I know you will enjoy the place.

This little saloon is an awesome place to go in Hastings. The BBQ sauce is delicious and (obviously) homemade. It's also vegetarian (and could be vegan) friendly, which is nice. The first time I stopped in it was just for a beer and the server was quite clueless as to what beers were on tap and pointed out that they were written on the tap handles for us to read. This was pretty disappointing as I'm a server myself, but the second time I went I ordered pizza (which was phenomenal!) and the service was much better. Relaxed vibe, and the handcrafted table(s) is/are awesome. I'll definitely be back.

Vinnie's is a great find... A friend told us about it and took us for dinner recently, and it was worth the drive. The building is well finished and decorated, not to mention clean. Great menu selection for both food and drink. Staff was friendly and had great recommendations. We had the twin pork pizza, which was excellent. I'm not usually one for BBQ sauce on my pizza, but this struck a nice balance with the pork, bacon and cheese. Also had the pulled pork salad and the buffalo chicken dip, both of which were far better than average. We really enjoyed it... Hope they stay true to what's working so well regardless of their popularity.

Great place to eat... very unique. The smell when you walk in the door is incredible. Ask the owners about the history of the building.... very interesting.

We drove down last week so my husband could try Vinnie's. He loved it, too! I had the Brisket Sandwich again ..out of this world delicious (I order it without the cheese) as were the house made chips. Cole Slaw good but ordinary. We ordered the bread sticks for an appetizer...again incredibly yummy. My son had the pizza (again) and still says it's the best ever in the whole world (and we've eaten at lot's of pizza places all over the country). My husband had the ribs and loved them. Service and atmosphere was great. We drive 35 miles each direction to eat here and it's well worth the drive,

Wonderful experience! Great food and staff. We had a pizza, breadsticks, and some great Michigan beer. Best pizza in town. I will definitely be back very soon! I highly recommend Vinnies.

We were in town for the Barry Roubaix bike race. We stopped in for a rare breakfast at Vinnies. The food was good, but the staff was absolutely FABULOUS! A lot of fun, so much so, we came back for lunch. Pizzas were great, but the once again, I cannot say enough good words about the wait staff. We really enjoyed both our meals.

The pizza here is the best around. The bar-b-que is to die for. The sandwiches are creative, fresh and delicious. Great selection of Michigan Beers. Great blues music in the background and the place has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. What else can you want?
