OK, tried them again and asked if they used sulfites on their lettuce. Order taker gave me the manager who didn't seem to know what sulfites were but said no...they use pre-packaged lettuce. But she didn't offer to look at the ingredients either so we decided to skip a salad. She acted exasperated with me. So I ordered a specialty pizza. When it came it was so salty we could hardly get it down. We were not sure they did not do it on purpose because of my conversation with the manager. It was horrible. We will not be ordering from them again. There are too many other choices in town. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is my favorite place when I cone to Michigan and almost a must when in town. The dexter cottage inn is pretty good and their pizzas are cottage inn standard. The pizza is amazing and they are always piping hot when we arrive to pick them up. The lunch buffet is also not too bad, though I like the takeout better!
Late delivery. Called a few times to inquire and on three separate occasions the call was picked up and immediately hung up. When I spoke with someone, he was less than helpful and not apologetic. They took 2 hours to deliver the pizza. Once it got here it was tasty though.

I appreciate the friendliness of the delivery people, buuuuut the past few times I have had a delivery they have not brought the garlic butter dipping sauce I nicely asked for. And I was charged for it too!!! Cottage Inn, I believe you owe me two free garlic butter sauces next time.

Was told by the girl answering the phone they don't deliver to my hotel room, that I'd have to come down to the lobby and get it. After 45 minutes I figured I'd go to the lobby and wait. The hotel manager said they do deliver to the room, that it was really odd that they told me that. So I'm sitting in the lobby waiting and call back. Get the same girl who is apparently also the manager and she got snotty towards me when I told her what the hotel manager said, and she said it was almost there. I said cancel it and take it off my card. We'll see what the owners think. Terrible experience. I'd drive to another location and get it myself instead of dealing with a snotty little girl

Great pizza! We were in visiting family from out of town and stopped here to pick up some pizza. I took the cashiers recommendation and ordered the chicken Mediterranean pizza, deep dish style. It was delicious! My wife got a gluten free pizza and she said it was the best she has had. She tries gluten free pizza all over at different shoppes so that is high praise coming from her.
