I am addicted. Loving pizza and teh ability to walk in and walk out without call ahead is amazing. They are quick to take your order and whip that pie together in no time and the final result is simply the best carryout pizza around. I experiment with different toppings and everytime is a new explosion of awe. Best suggestion I can offer is butter parmesan crust, its a must. If you dont want to spend the money on the one of their specialty pizzas just hit up a pepperoni melt, OH HOLY MOTHER it is as good as it gets. Youre will pay for the quality and flavor but if you like yourself a great carryout pizza then Marcos is the place to find it.
Hands down, best pizza around! We are new to the area and have tried this Marcos location twice. Very good!
One of the best around. Great food and service every time I've ordered. I usually end up spending $30-$40 on every order. But its well worth it.

Bagels & Bites

Reviews:
This place has GREAT breakfast sandwiches! I love how there is a huge variety of bagels and cream cheese to choose from. Convenient location and reasonably priced.
My boyfriend and I stopped in here this morning for some breakfast and coffee. Normally we just drive over to Tim Hortons, but we were getting sick of the place after constantly going there, and both of us love finding hidden local gems, such as this place. I live very close to this establishment and kept telling myself I needed to check it out for a long time. Now, I wish I had done so earlier! We walked in and were immediately surprised how busy it was at 11am on a Wednesday, especially with it being a local business, but we figured that was a good sign! The shop has plenty of bagel choices, from chocolate chip to jalapeño cheddar, plus tons of specialty coffees, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and "fragels" all at an affordable price. We were greeted by a friendly woman who helped us navigate the menu and asked us how we were doing this morning. I ended up ordering a cinnamon vanilla bagel with cream cheese and a large white chocolate mocha, while my boyfriend chose a breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel with bacon and egg on it (I stole a bite of it and it was delicious, but a little skimpy on the bacon- next time we will order extra). I loved my cinnamon vanilla bagel, and my white mocha was delicious. Our total came to $9.00 and some change, which was not bad for two people to have breakfast. His sandwich was roughly $3, my coffee was about $4, and the bagel with cream cheese was slightly over $1. It was a yummy treat at a cute little place not far from home, and I will be back next week on my day off to enjoy some more morning bagels and coffee. It's a nice change up from other mainstream coffee/bagel joints I usually hit up during the work week.
Had an egg bagel, toasted perfectly. It was tasty. Cappuccino had a bit too much milk and was overly hot, but not bad. Nice, quietish atmosphere. Sells old bagels for $.25 as doggie treats. Has WiFi. Great place!

The food was delicious. The service was very friendly and very welcome to my leader dog in training. Wonderful experience.
A lovely little place my girlfriend introduced me to. They do soup-and-sandwich combos, which I'm a total sucker for. They have a lot of interesting foods, regardless; it's a nice change of pace from the cookie-cutter-ish restaurants you see so much of these days. I hate to say that I didn't try the pie at all, but I'm looking to remedy that sooner or later. I was a bit bummed that they didn't have much in the way of decaf tea, though. I also really dig that they have a large checkerboard onsite. However, if I'm in the restaurant, please don't play it. ;)
This place is great. We had to kill some time on the way to the airport and we stopped here for lunch and a couple of pies for families. The soups were fantastic and the pies we brought to the multiple family get togethers were well received. The berry pies were right out of a Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving painting, but tasted better.

The best area in the Detroit metro area !!!! Try the boss roll Truly a boss !! The greatest ever !!!! The service was awesome and every other roll in here was a bomb on the taste buds !!
I'm not a sushi person but I love sushi zen. Really nice atmosphere. I usually take my seat at the bar and watch them make the food. It's pretty busy 7 days a week so you know there doing something right. The soup and salad is really good. I also really like the Chicago roll, u of m roll and firecracker roll.
I'm not sure why this place has over 4 stars. Brighton doesn't really have a lot of Japanese or other Asian residents and therefore, no good sushi restaurants. My friend and I tried a few rolls to go with our cocktails. Most rolls have eel sauce, mayo, crunchies and cream cheese. Very Americanized "sushi". Our meal wasn't all that memorable.

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I was very pleased with the entire experience. This restaurant is ultra cute, but it serves serious food. I went for lunch, and had the Wholly Cow (Shaved beef ribeye, grafton village cheddar, balsamic soaked onions & Horseradish spread on a baguette) with a side of Mushroom Brie soup. The bread was a nice crust, and the beef great. I could have used a bit more salt, but overall, it was simple and good. The soup was perfect. It was creamy, but left enough texture to still call it soup instead of sauce. If I ever have to drive by Brighton again, I will be eating here.
Service was excellent. Mac and cheese was amazing. Kyle Fisher was playing on the patio, and fantastic. Great evening!
What a fabulous find! I'm not a local and Wooden Spoon came up on Yelp and thought give it try. Charming, excellent, personable servers and the absolutely delicious.

First time in last Sunday night around 9 pm and I was super surprised on how awesome my sub was. I was expecting just a sub and got much much more ! Better than Jimmy John's subway and the rest of them... already recommended firehouse to friends and family ! 5 *'s here.
Stopped here on the way home from up north. Always consistent. My wife loves their salads, always top notch. Pop machine was out of a few flavors, but workers very friendly.
Very good food. Much better quality and taste than subway or jimmie johns. Great atmosphere. Good to support the local firefighters. When I'm looking for a healthy food option on the run I always hit up firehouse subs.

Gus’s Carryout

Reviews:
I am a sucker for family owned businesses and when the people that work there are as cool as the family then the combination is gold. I have worked next door to Gus's Carryout for more than 10 years. I might be partial but their other locations in Hartland and Howell are no different. Its hard to have this kind of continuity in a small business setting. A lot of this is due tot he fact they have one dedicate general manager and a series of dedicated managers. If I order a Gus's Special in Brighton you can bet its the same if I order the same from Hartland/Howell. Like any business there are hiccups but there is never a turned eye to mistakes made and there is always someone ready to make it right. If I can suggest anything about Gus's its to BUY THEIR BREAD STICKS! Theyre so good they shouldnt be legal. Seriously ten pounds of my weight is because of these sticks. Otherwise you have to eat the Stromboli and try a Gus's Special, "special" is an understatement. The Gus's Special is like a garbage can pizza, it has nearly everything on it and they NEVER skimp on topings. Quality carryout pizza is the name of their game.
It's all about the bread sticks. Grab a bag and enjoy. Top notch food all around. A Livingston County original.
The apple salad is to die for. They're very friendly and the woman that cashed me out was extremely helpful.

Coney Joe’s

Reviews:
Sorry, but I don't understand the positive ratings on Coney Joe's. Anyone who knows me understands that I love this type of food. I found the coney's below average. Just seemed to lack flavor. Also disappointed in the fries. We were first disappointed with the serving size for the price - but did not even finish them due to the mushy, blah texture. The people were very nice but the food was just disappointing! Pretty pricey too (for what you get). A standard glass of fountain pop is also expensive at $2.15 with no refills.
Still amazing dogs. That sauce is magical. Dying of slow horrible coney sauce wihthdrawls in Chicago. "2 w/cheese, light onions please"
Coney joes has been making excellent coneys for years! Coneys w/ cheese, onions, and mustard are the best way to go!! Don't forget to order the Texas tooth picks and if you have never tried them, take this advice and order them up you won't be disappointed! And make sure you bring cash because they are old school and don't have a credit card machine. Great food and nice people! I will certainly be going back for years to come!!

I love this place! It's a short walk from us, the customer service is fantastic and personable, the prices are reasonable, and they have decent WiFi. They also serve alcohol based coffee drinks along with the usual gamut of selections. Their prices tend to be just under Starbucks, but I find the coffee tastes much better. I've only tried one of their alcohol infused coffee drinks, the Mexican Fireball- or something like that, and it was surprisingly good. The baristas are always warm and friendly and they very quick & thoughtful. It's a nice cozy place, with good service, great coffee, and reasonable prices. There you have it.
Really unique coffee shop - it's also a bar! They have a good wine selection and some great mixed drinks, although their beer selection is a bit limited. Good coffee, wifi, outdoor seating and generally good vibe.
Wonderful neighborhood coffee place and so much more! Breakfast and lunch offerings are always just right and delicious. Adventurous dining? There's a few of those on the menu too!
