The bartender I had was very friendly and accommodating. The bar has a great selection and prices. Parking is good and super easy. They have a nice outdoor deck to sit on when the weather permits. It's definitely a Westbrook-regular spot, but has an okay atmosphere. The menu is overpriced for what is. They used to have a really good wing deal on Tuesday nights, but now it's just alright. I remember years ago they made rules for wing night which seemed very odd. The food isn't great, but it's convenient. The other staff is nice, but not overly friendly. I don't think I'd go back unless it was for drinks.

I don't know. I have mixed feelings about this place. The food is always good, the prices are fair and the service is decent. But the restaurant itself is just boring. I feel like I'm in a high school gym eating my lunch or in warehouse. There's just no character. They do have a large outdoor patio but it overlooks a parking lot. Like I said I just don't know, I like the place but I don't. I wish they would do something to make it more inviting and comfortable.

I'll give them a 3 star for my last trip, which is a massive jump from the previous two times, I was happy just to have a mediocre experience here for once. My last two visits I went on wing night and had under cooked wings both times, had horrible, slow service, and got no help when attention was brought to management. BUT this time went well, we came again on wing night, again with a party of 8 or so (different people too) Our waitress was polite and on point, wings and fries were good and I never had to wait very long for anything. I was very surprised in all this but happy regardless. Good job, ya'll are improving!

I've been here many times over the years since I've moved to the 'brook. Mostly, it is for happy hour with coworkers. They have some sort of deal every night of the week - wing night, talls for smalls, seasonal tap specials, etc. In the summer, the deck is open and it is pretty large. The only downfall - it overlooks a parking lot. Upside - plenty of parking! Tonight, I was here on the early side for dinner, as I was with friends that have a 2 year old. A very active two year old. As a non parent, the place seemed pretty kid friendly. They offered crayons and coloring, which included an actual coloring book. "E" didn't use it much as he preferred playing with his trucks or running around. It wasn't busy and no one seemed to mind. As for the food, I wasn't too hungry. I ordered just some chicken fingers, sweet & spicy, with onion rings. For less than $10, it was a hearty serving that I didn't finish. While the onion rings were not my style (I like the thin stringy ones), they were fine. The chicken tenders are lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and quite tasty. My friends were all very happy with their meals as well. And, "Mumma" was already planning her next visit. All in all, this is a decent place. Extensive menu with standard fare. It's reasonably priced and has an extensive beer selection, bottle and tap. I know many sports fans that enjoy catching a game here. And, they have darts, pool tables, and a few arcade games. My only critiques are that the food is nothing special - good, but nothing I return specifically to have. And, the service can be hit or miss. Tonight was great though. Ending on a positive note - they can split checks better than most any place else I know!

Came here for paint nite. Food is .... uh, okay. Ordered steak nachos. Barely had any cheese or steak on it. I was very displeased. $11 rum buckets for like a 5oz bucket.... uh, kinda pricey IMO. Staff is really friendly tho. They needa step up their food game if they're gonna continue having paint nites here.

The staff is friendly. The food is okay. It's simple, bland american food. I wish they would add a vegetarian/vegan option too. The restaurant is big and open with bright lighting. I think it could use some ambiance updates. Maybe a little lower lighting and some comfortable seating areas for visiting. Love the patio in the summer!

I have really, really tried to like this place, but every time I come I just leave feeling underwhelmed. This place could and should be so great - it has a lot going for it: Large area Clean Outside seating Great draft selection Game room I just cannot seem to feel comfortable here and I have tried many times. I feel like it is a combination of things...the lighting provides no ambiance...its florescent and very bright, the seating arrangement and set up could be so much more inviting rather than a wide open area with tables scattered. The food...well its very casual, but could use some improvements. The staff...last time I went were not friendly at all, and told me one price but charged my credit card another and said..sorry but that's the price. Maybe play some background music? Just the whole vibe is off for me. I wanted to have fun last time I went...a Saturday night... We ordered a drink and went to play pool, but its just not a welcoming or fun environment (but this could just be me). We left after one beer and one game of pool.

I've eaten lunch and dinner here about ten times over the years. Most of the food I've had has been only so-so. Why go back? The prices are cheap. The vibe is unpretentious and friendly. The beer is ice cold. And their Reuben with fries is the best one I've had in the Portland area.

I used to go there quite often. Unfortunately, I've sent food back several times. In fact, my buddy and I had the same issue with their Shepard's Pie (both had raw burger in the center) and they never offered to comp the dish. The food is average and the inside is dated. Their outside patio is the nicest thing about the place. The prices are fair. Their staff - well, let's just say the hiring manager/owner has a thing for young girls, because most if not all are young and easy on the eyes. Not that an old timer like myself would have a shot, but their business model is rather evident. The drinks are average - what else can I say - it's a sport bar.

We walked in busy it was fine we expected that. 5 mins till the hostess came over that was fine she was up front there is a 40 minute food wait we were fine with that. We were NOT okay with the 20 mins sitting there with not 1 person acknowledging we were there for even water to our table. My fiancé is beyond patient but he was not a happy camper. Especially since our waitress (well we guessed she might be) went to two tables 3 times surrounding us but never came over. We walked out that is the first time in 3 years we have walked out of anywhere.

Alright so here's the deal - I live in Westbrook and I am at the Stockhouse at least once a week. The bartenders are friendly, decent beer selection, fair priced, and a decent atmosphere. Great for watching games on Sundays - as thy have them all on good TVs and decent sound system. Sounds like a good place, right? It is...with one massive exception. The service is mind numbingly slow. I say this without a single drop of exaggeration. I walked in, sat down, waited, complained to my girlfriend about the wait, said I would rip them on yelp, realized I had deleted the app, downloaded the app, and am now writing this long review. Do I have a beer yet? No, no I do not. This is a decent spot and is exactly what you think you'd get. But the speed of service has got to improve. Otherwise I'll make the drive elsewhere.

Great westbrook bar! Staff is always friendly and attentive regardless of crowd size. Pretty good bar food but they need to branch out beyond wings and quesadillas etc...couple years ago they use to offer Vietnamese Eggrolls and those were very good ...not sure why they discontinued something that is great item. Big tvs are a plus

Staff is friendly, good size outdoor deck, and wide selection of food and beer. So why the low rating? An hour long wait for 3 appetizers to come out on a night that wasn't packed? Unacceptable! The wings and chicken tenders were good, but definitely did not take an hour to make since they aren't making them from scratch. Waitress was a bit more attentive as soon as we moved inside since it was getting pretty cold out. I'll probably be back since friends like to grab a beer here during the summer- I'll just make sure I eat before coming here.

Overpriced especially for the location. Wings were tasty but not out of this world by any means. However, there are limited choices for wings in the Portland area, hence our visit. Many beers but most domestic and boring. Super brightly-lit if that's your thing. If we return it'll be for the Tuesday wing night.

This is a good place to go to visit with friends and drink. Forget the food. I went with a group of 10 people on 5-4-15, the majority of us were very disappointed. Salads were iceberg and very little else. I had the special of the night. Pulled pork sandwich. First, the pork was not pulled, it was three pieces on a huge bun, that had tomatoes sliced thicker than the pork. And it was covered with cheese. And the meat was cold. Fries were over cooked and a distasteful looking color, like that of pumpernickel bread. The steak sandwich was meager in the meat and veggie dept. The pastrami sandwich got a thumbs down from the guy who sat across from me, and the wrap sandwich next to me had 1 bite and was left on the table. The food took a very long time to arrive, but at least the waitress was attentive to our beverage needs. At the end of the night when we mentioned the quality of the food to her, she only offered an apology and said the kitchen was busy. We should have insisted on speaking to the manager. Don't waste your time here if you want food. I won't again. This was my third visit, and each one was disappointing.

The Stockhouse is a fairly typical sports bar. They have good food, friendly staff and lots of TV's. The building is quite large and can handle a good amount of people comfortably. Tuesday .35 cent wing nights are excellent but there is a few things you should know before you dive in. 18% gratuity is included in your bill (on wing night), the crowd is almost ALL under the age of 24. The service will be slow because it is usually packed. You may have to wait 10-20 minutes for a table. The wings are OUTSTANDING! They have 7 sauces to pick from and they let you mix match any way you want with no minimum or maximum quantity. They will not give you take out. Other than wing night, expect a typical experience.

Several years ago I loved eating here, but the last few times The food has been terrible. Ordered a medium-well burger a couple of weeks ago and it was raw when it came out. They gave us a $10 gift certificate and remade the burger which was cool, but they seemed annoyed by the whole thing. Last night we decided to give them another chance and ordered Fish and Chips...YUCK!!!! It was cooked in old oil and the haddock tasted like it was about to go bad. We will NEVER eat at this place again.

Westbrook simply has better options. I love the building of this place and the restaurant is huge but the food and service here are not good. The servers act like they do not like their jobs and the food is mediocre at best. I had bacon on a cheeseburger and the bacon was all fat and no crisp. I think with a new menu and some better talent in terms of servers we might be talking about a place i could go to again. I love the location and the building and would reconsider this place in the future. With so many good options here I would rarely go here for food. Good selection of beer though!

It's vey warehouse like and not a lot goes on there. The food is decent but I can't warm up to it for some reason.

Went in with a large party, 20 people. We called ahead but the place is large enough for them to accommodate a party of that size especially on a Tuesday night. They acted as though they were doing us a favor by allowing us to eat there. The attitude of the entire staff was less then pleasant. We were very flexible about seating but they had plenty of room and were still difficult about the visit. I do understand that 20 people is a big party but it was a casual crowd and they could have been more pleasant. I work in a customer service business and would be fired if I acted like our servers and seemingly the manager. My father & I both had a burger and they were subpar. The fries were better then I expected. Beer was good and they had plenty of TV's. I would probably try it again with a smaller party and a different food order. Overall, I would say try another restaurant in Westbrook as there are a few better options within a mile of the Stockhouse.
