This farm is so green and so lovely! I need to come back to try more than just the ice cream (this review is for the ice cream shop). I've been told of a fall-time hay ride to get pumpkins. If this still happens I would love to see that! I love that there are at least 40 flavors in rotation (take that, Baskin Robbins)! All of them more tempting than the next. You can get a sundae with any flavor and the number of flavors you can mix in a cup depends on the size. I wish they were able to like in all the flavors like they do at gelato shops because I definitely wanted to have more than two. I had the ginger and the pumpkin together and they were divine. Also try their fresh milk, maple, and honey products!

We took our two year old grandson to the farm on a perfect summer day. I thought that 5 dollars per person was very reasonable considering that it is quite an expense taking care of the animals. And, they were very well cared for. The enclosures were clean and fly free, and I noticed they were using very effective fly traps to keep it that way. Every area was shady, neat and clean with plenty of activities for little ones. There was a big steam shovel to explore, little ride on tractors and wonderful wooden trains, trucks, planes etc for tots to explore and climb in. These activities are definitely geared for the very young. The petting area was fun too and the goats and sheep were docile and friendly. A staff person was always nearby. We brought a picnic lunch and had ice cream for dessert. Love this place and can't wait to go back again soon.

We went here hoping for a little more... Little more animals, little more interaction with them, little more seeing farm to table concept, didnt get it. However, our kids, 6 &2, still had a great time. Full conversations with weird bird and a cow. They loved climbing on the wooden structures like the train and MaryAnne the steam shovel. Milk was eh. Chocolate milk was good. Didnt try anything else. Was worth the admission just to keep kids entertained.

The ice cream was good, and they have a good assortment of animals. There's plenty for kids to run around and see in the zoo area, but it's not very clean or childproofed. It's a farm, so it can get away with some of this, and my 17-month-old daughter had a nice time. There's structures and stuff for kids to play on, which was cool. It's not really a "petting zoo," as the animals are all in cages or pens, and there's no access to them to physically interact with that I could tell. We didn't have any food or milk (besides ice cream). I'd go back because it's a nice place to walk around and look at animals with a kid and let them burn off some steam, but I wasn't blown away.

I brought my son here to see the animals. They have expanded the petting zoo quite a bit since my last visit here and have more jungle gym type toys for the kids to play on. The admission is $4 per person and you have to buy food tokens at the main window - 1 token for 50 cents. Animals to see...very large pigs, goats, a donkey, alpaca, ponies, bunny rabbits, ducks, chickens, etc. The new section has an area that you can go in and pet the animals. The goats and sheep are really cute and friendly in the larger petting area. They had a smaller area where there were some smaller goats and one larger one was very dominant and pushy...he actually rammed my son and pushed him to the ground trying to get the food in his hand. It was not easy to get this large one off my son so we could get out of the pen completely. I did not expect that from a friendly petting area. My son is not tiny...and I would be concerned for smaller children. I did make an employee aware and suggested that goat be separated from the others in that area. Over all the place was very clean, the employees were very nice and it was a fun 2 hour adventure for my son...he is getting a little to big for a place like this but really still enjoyed it!

I'm a fan of the milk, but the actual farm...I was a little disappointed. I was happy to see the cows grazing, but the actual market. Kinda meh. The ice cream looked a little synthetic too. I know it is made from the milk, but it was dyed. Like I thought it would be natural. I love all the milks. Blueberry milk and the heavy cream are divine. We bought some of the silvery moon creamery cheese, the fresh mozarella is not too great at all. It was hard and tangy, not soft and creamy. Doctored up with basil, salt and olive oil on standard bakery baguette it is tolerable, but really sad it wasn't yum. We bought some yogurt, but haven't tried it yet. Unless you have kids who want to go to the barnyard, I'd skip the dairy and just get the milk at hannaford's or whole foods!

chocolate milk was ok. i find it odd that most of the ice cream at a dairy would be freezer burned. i tried pistachio because it actually looked ok and it was good. i ordered lunch- blt, mac and cheese, and a grilled cheese. blt came on untoasted bread and was meh. grilled cheese was good but thats hard to mess up. mac and cheese was terrible, had almost no cheese on it. it looked like butter and cracker crumbs were put on noodles. this is a dairy. jesus take some pride in your business. woman at the register was not especially friendly. eh i like local stuff and all so i may buy their products if theres nothing better available but you can get that at the stores without coming here.
