Stopped in for breakfast on our way to the beach. Everything was very good. We had hash n' eggs and it was very tasty. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Hash was excellent. Not sure what was on the potatoes but they were excellent. The coffee was a bit weak for my taste but my wife loved it, so I think it's just what you prefer. And you can't beat the location if you're coming to Ogunquit beach. We'll definitely be back next year. We got here around 8am (in the summer) and didn't wait but by the time we left there was a short wait.

Lovely place for good food. We had breakfast and even though we had to beg for coffee refills the staff were kind and the food was good.

I stopped in here the weekend after labor day to grab some breakfast. I ordered corned beef hash and eggs with sausage on the side. Everything was cooked perfectly even the toast. The service was fast and friendly and I left feeling satisfied. I would go back.

Blueberry pancakes did not disappoint. You might consider the short stack if you were happily full from the night before. A short walk from town center. A good breakfast spot.

Unfortunately, It just burned. Call before you go. I hear they probably won't be able to open this season. Hope I'm wrong.

Great location, fine food, reasonable prices = 4 stars. I want to give them 5 stars because the service was on point, the blueberry pancakes were generously bursting with blueberries, and the location is killer. But the Achilles heel of any place serving breakfast is the coffee. This was definitely a watered down cup of joe. The corned beef hash was tasty, but was on that borderline of seeming to come from a (gourmet food service) can. The eggs were done just right, the canadian bacon was tasty. The wheat toast was merely OK, but the raisin toast seemed homemade and I strongly recommend that. Those blueberry pancakes were not the fluffy kind...they were almost the crispy/bready kind, which I generally do not prefer, but with all those blueberries, I think they were delicious. So, if they get some decent beans for the coffee, or could up their game in other ways, I'd give them 5 stars. As it stands, I think 4 stars is fair. I saw a lot of other people eating there, and so few reviews. Although their rating is not that great, I can confidently recommend this place as a decent place to eat. I can imagine it will be miserable to eat here during peak crowds, especially since it has such an awesome location which will automatically draw the maximum amount of customers. So, I agree with another Yelper who wrote that in Ogunquit, it's all about the timing.

We ate at Huckleberry's right when we got into Ogunquit. Granted, it was a quiet fall weekend, between Columbus Day and Ogunquitfest. So I think the gruesome chaos described in the first-to-review review may be a function of high season. We had a fine experience - nothing amazing, but yummy haddock sandwiches and burgers and very good house root beer. It's got a diner vibe but does serve beer and wine.

An hour's wait elsewhere is better than an instant sit-down here. Absolutely horrendous and terribly run -- we waited over an hour for three salads and a piece of grilled chicken. The kitchen may have been naturally backed up due to the memorial day weekend, but it was obvious there was some particular issue with our meal. Either the waitress forgot to put the order in or there was an issue in the kitchen, because others had sat down, eaten, and left before we got our meal. When we had to inquire about what had happened, we were presented with the rudest response from both the waitress and manager. No offer to check the status, no reassurance that everything had been accounted for and that we would be served soon, not even the slightest of apology. Only a rushed response and an offer to cancel the order and deliver the check for the three sodas that only took a half hour to arrive. Never in 50 years of dining in Ogunquit had we experienced such rotten service. Huckleberry's has been around for years and years, but based on our recent outing, they aren't long for business. Avoid at all cost!

My map shows this place being inland but it's on Beach Island. I had a hungover breakfast here and the meal was just fine, eggs cooked perfectly, coffee constantly refilled. Was like $10 total. Got to watch everyone walking by on the way to the beach. No frills here. simple diner.
