I have to say "Thank You" to the owners of Annie's. This year we were in Ogunquit for their 4th of July fireworks. The beaches were packed full of people, so instead of watching the show, we decided to take a chance on Annie's. It turns out that their patio had a perfect view of the fireworks show! We were able to sit outside with the owners and watch the entire thing. Not only that, but their food was absolutely amazing. I had the beef stew, and my fiance had the fish 'n chips. Both were cooked just like my grandmother used to make them. The Pub ended up filling to the brim with people after the fireworks show ended, but the owners and bar tender were still attentive and talkative all night long. We had an absolute blast, and will make sure to keep Annie's on our "must visit" list whenever we come back to Ogunquit.

CLOSED!! Ignore the rating- this place is closed and the building is for sale. Just want to save someone else the longish walk (in the rain) from downtown Ogunquit.

If you want an authentic Irish Pub, Annie is about as Irish as they come! She is a wonderful lady, and goes above and beyond for customers. We arrived at 9:00 pm, when the kitchen was closing. Annie still served us! I had the corned beef and cabbage. Everything was super fresh! The veggies were awesome. We will make this a return spot for sure! The bad: I returned home a few days later, to find that the waitress had scammed me out of $100! If the drinks weren't so good, I would have noticed this. Ugh!

Tried to come for dinner but the restaurant must be closed for the season. My Yelp app said it was open at 4:00. Went at 6:00 and the place was dark. The Yelp app is forcing me to leave the star rating but I haven't been there yet, therefore it only gets 1.

We came here with family we were visiting, they're year round locals and know all the best places! Highlighrs included "some of the best fish and chips I've ever had" per my hubs who iced fish and chips, and a "bumble bee" (Allagash White layered with Guinness with a bee somehow made in the foam). We started some wings for the happy out special. Quite meaty and only .50/piece. I had a solid shepherds pie, but the fish and chips of my dining companion were fantastic. The lamb chops (from the appetizer menu) are a definite stand-out with a delicate rosemary flavor and made a perfect meal for our Aunt along with a salad. Great service from the daughter of that owner and an intro to the charming owner herself made a solid meal a great experience.

Annie's is definitely worth visiting. It's a great value in the often overpriced restaurant scene of Ogunquit. The interior is fun with lots of nods to Irish culture (shamrocks everywhere, pleasant green decor, and music that ran the gamut from Gaelic folk songs to U2). They have a great assortment of beers to start. Get the onion rings -- the best we have ever had, with an excellent beer batter and huge portion. The fries that come with most burgers and sandwiches are hand-cut and delicious. The salmon wrap was tasty but a bit meager in portion. My son's burger was great, one of the best he has had. The desserts (we had the lava cake and bread pudding) were outstanding, to finish up a memorable meal. The wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable.

Do not order the Shepard Pie, because it is 80 percent mashed potatoes... But the Guiness was great and the onions rings were good. The service and the atmosphere is nice. My wife enjoyed her stuffed Portebello mushroom dinner. I'd go again but I'll avoid the Shepards Pie.
