Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

This is the 2nd time that I got pizza from Pizza Palace and even though i like the pizza, I am abit disappointed with my last visit. Pizza Palace was recommended to me by my cousin and he suggested the Philly cheesesteak pizza. The first time I ordered the pizza, I LOVED it and was super excited to get it again. The second time I got the Philly cheesesteak pizza, it was good but I think it didn't have "umph" the first one had. I don't know if it was the lack of meat or sauce but something was missing. Maybe the third time is the charm??

DON'T WASTE YOU MONEY EATING HERE! Pizza Palace food has gone to the dumps. One of the problems that they have is that the young lady up at the front who takes the orders (incorrectly) due to her playing with her cell phone. I ordered a shrimp cheesesteak with buffalo cheese fries. There weren't hardly any shrimp on the sub and they sent me cheese fries with no buffalo sauce on them. You won't get my business anymore.

We have ordered from this place several times and always have some type of issue; order not totally correct, forgets drinks and desserts and takes literally hours for them to bring it back; the order total not correct, long delivery time and rude employees that place you on hold for 15 min. Tonight, my daughter and I ordered there. I asked for a pizza sub VERY WELL DONE. Explained that no matter how many times I stress that I want it extremely crispy, when I get it, its doughy like it was put in microwave instead of an oven and soggy. We got our order and again, soggy and doughy. Called and spoke to a boy named Chris that claimed he was a manager. Told him what happened and said usually I put it in my own oven, but I pay for what I want and I'd like you to send my sub the way I asked. He agreed. I dried a load of laundry, got a shower, folded the laundry (2 hours at this point) NO FOOD! called, was put on hold for ten minutes.. Asked for Chris, told him I never received my sub. He acted surprised but offered no apology. He said to me and I quote " they're sendin it now" I asked why is it I have to wait so long? Was I put at end of list?? He stated he guessed (as a manager with an unhappy customer, he "guesses" the ticket got lost. I told him to keep the sub and we WILL NEVER order from them anymore. We have a large family and order out once a week. They lost good customers. We will now be taking our 100.00 per week business to another local business.

I gave this place more chances and now they become my favorite place to Take-out! After the first time they always have been taking my order properly and never a single mistake in my orders! They make the foods fresh and their Pizza, Subs, Pastas are tasty and were inexpensive! They performed a renovation and it looks very fancy! Staff is very friendly and owners are very hard working people, nice To customers! You should give this spot a try!

Good Pizza. Very good sauce. Great Toppings. Sandwiches are also good, but the menu is over burdened. Wings were forgettable. Pleasant and professional staff.

There are so many places to eat in Owings Mills but this place is generally good and consistent. Last week I ordered from them. The order took much longer than quoted. The food was over cooked, cold and sparse. When I spoke to the manager, Said, he was not very receptive but he came around after I told him I was a manager for a major restaurant chain and that his customer service was very unsatisfying. He said to ask for him next time and he would take care of my meal. Well, I called tonight and Said was not there. I spoke to the manager on duty who was COMPLETELY unhelpful and rude saying I could only get 50% off and I could callback when Said was there. Like I know Said's schedule!! Get it together folks! Your customer service skills suck and my $$$$$ (which has gone into your pockets for over 5 years) will now go into somebody else's pockets. Too bad.

Only gave it 1 star because there wasn't a no star option . Rude help, foods not fresh and doesn't taste good.

The service is really nice. I would not order a thing from this place. They had mice traps in front of the store. I explained to the workers this was not acceptable. I thought that was extremely nasty.

Pizza Palace is a regular old pizza/sub shop out on Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills, Maryland. I give this place three stars because the food can be bland sometimes but different tastebuds for everyone and mainly it's not authentic (o well). I don't really think the staff are authentic Italians but I don't eat here for authenticity just for cheapness, array of choices and it's just something quick to eat. Most times if you order your food correctly, they will have everything correct and hot when delivered. They always deliver your food in a timely fashion and you can cross your fingers that it is all fresh made. Some people question the freshness of the pizza, but that's why I spruce up my order and add something different like more cheese or sausages, just to assure that I have a fresh made pizza. The pizzas are New York style and range from small to XL with various different toppings and special combinations to chose from. They offer turkey and roast beef platters served with gravy, bread underneath the sliced deli meat and french fries. I have ordered these on numerous occasions and it's basic food for a good price and I ask for extra gravy to get enough gravy on the whole meal. I've had the chicken parmigiana which sells for about $8 and they give you a slice of Italian bread and a homemade side salad with PP's house dressing. That's a good deal, sometimes I'll add some Italian seasonings in the sauce when I get home to add some additional flavor because it is very bland and as with this meal I ask for more sauce. Finally, the cheesesteaks are mediocre and they pack your steak meat well. I haven't tried any other subs just because. As well, they have calzones, gyros, cheesesteaks, various other subs, onion rings, a few desserts are on the menu too, etc etc. You get the point, it's a pizza/sub shop. Pizza Palace is moving up in the world!! They are building a bigger roof on their existing structure for some reason.Ha!, I laughed when I saw the new addition, but at least it shows that they are making enough money to attempt to fix up the place. They are the only sub/pizza shop open until 2AM in Owings Mills. You can't beat that, so if you've got a late night munchie, consider trying them and see if you want to come back for more. Try the POTATO WEDGES they are just like KFC's but sometimes better!!!

I'll give credit where credit is due, the food is excellent. The problem here is the service, or lack thereof. If you walk in and order a COLD sub you will wait a very long time for your order. They also have online ordering.....that's right that sucks too!

I was going home from my parents house late one Friday night and got lost on Reisterstown Road. I was starving so I'm looking for a sub shop or something like that and passed some hole in the wall called "Pizza Palace". Well, it is a hole in the wall- nondescript storefront in a bland strip mall located around a sketchy area you may not want to be caught alone at night. I walk in, smell a slightly rank odor (someone didn't use enough bleach when they last mopped), and ordered a small cheese pizza within the less-than-kept restaurant. If this had been the end of my experience, they would have gotten a 1 or maybe two stars if I was in a good mood. However, I need to note their prices were very good, and the young lady that took my order was professional and attentive. The pizza was ready in ten minutes, just like she said it would be, and boy, this it where the positive part begins.....the pizza was good. Greek style- good sauce, good cheese, excellent chewy crust, and a jalapena added for good measure, all for $3.99 (plus tax). If you're around Rt. 140, hungry, and a pizza or sub will fit the bill, and don't have (or want) to spend a lot of money, this is the place to go. FYI, they stay open late too! Like I said, the place itself isn't anything to write home about, but the food is just plain good. Clean the place up a little bit guys and I'll change my review to four stars. ;- )

Short & Sweet: 1. They are open late! Its amazing to find subs & pizza at 1 in the morning 2. The people over the phone repeat your order & everything they are doing so there are no mistakes 3. Price never changes (I've had that issue before from another sub place - I would order the same exact thing every time and the price was NEVER the same) 4. The delivery guys are sweet & polite 5. A order of fries will make you happy & the milkshake is SO THICK! :) I was in desperate need of a sub place nearby & this is it! I love: Fried Shrimp Sub (w/ mayo, lettuce & american cheese), order of regular fries w/ honey mustard, & a large Oreo's milkshake

For the price I'd say this place definitely exceeded expectations. My boyfriend lives in Owings Mills so we're often trying new pizza places in the area (there are so many!) He received a flyer for Pizza Palace so we decided to give it a try. It's right down on Reisterstown Road near the ihop which isn't too far from him so we called an order for pick up. They have a large menu but we just ordered an XL Cheese pizza. The total was 8.50. That is a steal in my book so I was pleased with the price. They were quick and efficient, the pizza looked and smelled great. When we got it home it tasted good but I am a pizza snob and much prefer the large floppy thinner crust of an Italian Style pie. Pizza Palace's pizza tasted much like Papa Johns/Dominos type, or what I call "fast food pizza". If you like that, you'll definitely like this. Don't get me wrong it tasted good! It just is more of a personal preference. But it's fast and cheap! So it's worth a shot if you're nearby.

Dude taking phone order: "A Philly Cheesesteak's just a 'regular' cheesesteak." While technically correct, I have family from the City of Brotherly Love who'd scoff. Pizza Palace's Philly does the job. But I find myself ordering extra meat to satiate carnivorous cravings. American & Provolone are options. No Cheez Whiz. Any lacking presentation's made up by satisfying flavor. Delivery under 40 minutes. Besides Philly Cheesesteaks these personable persons dish out the customary litany of Italian subs, meatball subs, sammiches, calzones, buffalo wings, et al, amidst their plethora of pizzas and other fast food carryout/delivery fare. Hershey's milkshakes newly added. Chili cheese fries generous with cheese. Western fries not "slap yo momma" delectable, but a-ok being on the good side of crispy. There's no particular "mastery" on any particular cuisine though pizza's their raison d'être. Ironically, I've never tried the pizza. That being said, Philadelphia and her "genuine" cheesesteaks have nothing to fear from their widely diversified Reisterstown competition. It's one of many sidebars, but good enough coupled with the ease of friendly delivery.

Great late night pizza! Not only is their food fairly inexpensive, their delivery is very very fast. The pizza is not the best in the area but it's definitely good!

We usually order often from this location, but as of late their delivery service has not been up to par. They have forgotten items and have scewered up orders!
