Too bad it's a seasonal bar because it trumps anything on the Island. Great bar menu, water views, friendly staff, and tropical music on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. DJ Al is on the dock Friday evening sunsets with shots and a conch shell salute ending the day's sunlight. A cozy tiki bar on the end of the pier with attention to the Trop-Rock theme that works so well in the location. So glad we live only 10 minutes away!
Love the outdoor bar seating and the friendly bartenders! Great place to go and relax with the locals.
Great vibe/atmosphere and right on the water! Very chill and relaxing! Good food, but somewhat limited menu.

I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much based on the unassuming exterior and the proximity to so many mediocre restaurants. However, The Narrows is on a completely different level than the restaurants that surround it! I am very impressed with the food and service here. The staff was very friendly and professional. The interior is beautifully decorated and cozy with awesome water views. The bar has 2 big flat screen TVs and the bartender had no problem changing the station to the game we wanted to watch. Their brunch menu is excellent. I opted for the applewood bacon wrapped shrimp served with cheddar grits. Yum! I splurged and ordered dessert to top it all off. "Mousse in a Bag" was delicious and fun to eat! I can't wait to come back!
Still our favorite. The food is always good, the crab soup is the best around and the service is always consistent (which is a big deal on the Eastern Shore). If you are looking for a reliable "good eating experience", this is the place. Others have their good days & bad days & good meals & bad deals. But The Narrows is solid.
Good food but a bit expensive. Everything was fresh and tasty. Very nice viewfrom the screened in porch and good service. The crab cakes were tasty and the fried seafood was as well. The fish was very fresh. A good choice in an area that is convenient. Many other restaurants to choose from in same complex but much lower quality and atmosphere..

Wish this place was closer. The crabs and oysters were HUGE! The service was pretty good, and the outdoor seating on a nice, breezy day is a plus. Right when you park and get out of your car, you're going to smell funky sewage smell but it doesn't matter because you're about to get the best crab you've had in your life.
We dined here for the first time and we were a bit disappointed. The cream of crab soup was served in styrofoam containers and it was luke warm. It also had an odd taste to it and was mediocre at best. The crab cake sandwich was very small and served on a standard grocery store type potato roll. For the price paid , this was absurd. The shrimp salad was very good but also very small. In general, we did not have a good experience here and for the overall price, we could have done much better elsewhere. I gave a 2 star because the crabs for two combo looked very good and now we wished we tried it.
Absolutely no complaints! Awesome crabs, good corn, shrimp and wonderful service (Katherine was great) don't sweat it if you can't sit outside the view is cool from inside as well. Keep in mind You have to share tables but what better.... crabs and new friends. Great stop for crabs and things.

***3.75 Stars*** Do me a favor... Close your eyes. Now picture yourself tired and weary after a loooooooong and fun day at the beach. You just spent the day hauling tons of equipment (tent, chairs, beach umbrella and a variety of kids' toys) to the beach, chasing after your twin monkeys, rinsing sand out of the most intimate of crevices (both your own and your kids') and then at the end of the day hauling back all of the stuff back to the family mini van. Add to this the fact that you drove 3 hours to the beach and almost 3 hours back home. Before crossing over the Bay Bridge you pull off a route 50 exit on Kent's Island in an area called Kent's Narrow with one thing in mind; an ice cold beer and some tasty food. By now your body is tired, your mind is exhausted and your stomach is growling out loud like Sloth from "The Goonies". "Raaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Hey you guuuuuuuuys!!" "Shut up Sloth!!" As you pull into the parking lot of this place you see groups of cars parked in front of a turquoise blue building sitting at the edge of the water. The time between pulling into the parking lot and being seated at the table are all a blur as hunger has now taken over. It's okay...you look around and know you're in a safe place that'll take care of you. You're now at the Fisherman's Crab Deck. Picture yourself tired...not anymore. You feel some energy come into you as you're seated at a table overlooking the bay and boats parked at a pier. Picture yourself thirsty...not anymore. Any thirst is soon quenched as your first beer quickly goes down. The beer so cold that large drops of condensation form on the outside of your plastic cup. Picture yourself hungry...not anymore. From freshly steamed crabs to shrimp to soft shell clams. There is such a variety of delicious seafood that the best within will soon be satisfied with sacrificial offerings of Maryland's finest seafood offerings. Picture yourself...satisfied. What a wonderful way to break up the long drive home. With smiling wait staff who are always happy to see you no matter how stinky you may be (smelling of sweat, sea water and sunscreen lotion), they'll happily seat you to a table, bring you a cold drink and bring anything from their menu. On this last visit the boss lady and I shared a Steamed Variety Pot which was made up of two blue crabs, snow crab legs, clams, steamed shrimp and soft shell clams. Everything was delicious but not enough to feed two hungry adults and two starving little monkeys. We ended up ordering another pound of steamed shrimp which I washed down with my frosty plastic cup of Blue Moon beer. Ummm...tasty seafood satisfying meal with beeeeeeeeeeer. Yummers... So we all love coming here on our way back from the beach and a stop at the Fisherman's Crab Deck has now become sort of a family tradition. Just so you know, I must give my Dad full credit for telling us about this place. My Dad was the one who discovered this little restaurant which has become a "must visit" for any member of our family whenever we come back from the beach. Thanks Pops!
Prices. Menus should have prices. Their drink menu doesn't have prices. I went for dinner on Fri. 8/24/2012. People in my party asked about the prices of specific drinks, the server didn't know. The server mentioned that some drinks are as low as $7 and some go as high as $11! Yikes. My friend asked the server to find out which drinks were $7. The server came back and announced that the drink my friend wanted indeed was a $7 drink so my friend ordered it. The regular food menu has prices for food. When we were done eating, I asked about desserts. I was given a dessert menu, which -- you guessed it -- didn't have prices. I asked about a specific item, the server didn't know the price and had to go find out what the price is. Why can't they publish the prices of everything? And if they don't publish the prices, the servers should know the prices without having to go away, find out the prices and return. The food was in general fine. But the dessert I ordered, a homemade nutty ice cream cone was horrible. The ice cream was vanilla and was like ice milk. I ate the cone and the chocolate coating on the ice cream and left the "ice cream." I notified the server that the ad said "ice cream" -- and they should either change the ad to say "ice milk" or actually make real ice cream. The server took the charge off my bill. Yeah. But please, please, put the drink and dessert prices on the menu. I enjoyed eating outdoors next to the marina. But next time I need to have dinner in the area, there are too many other outdoor/marina restaurants to try -- and I'll try one of them instead of going back to the Crab Deck. With any luck, the other restaurants will have prices on their menus.
I really wanted to love this place but I honestly can't give more than 2 stars. :( GREAT decks, "inside" and out!!!! Friendly staff. I was passing by on the way to Salisbury and hungry for a little lunch. I ordered the crab soup (not chowder) and an appy - crab dip. Now I know, having grown up in MD, that crab soup is often salty. Unfortunately this soup was sooooo overly salty that it was awful. Barely edible. I had high hopes for the crab dip as it came highly recommended by the waitress as a popular starter. How on earth can they go sooooo wrong on this???? I loooove crab and I loooooove cream cheese and I loooove sourdough bread. BUT... It was like a pound of cream cheese, heated up and stirred with a bit of Old Bay seasoning and a little bit of crab meat. The goo was so thick and overpowering that I couldn't even tell if there was blue crab in it or not. It seemed to be snow crab from the teeny tiny bits I tasted - barely. And with the almost nonexistent amount of crab meat, I found it especially annoying to have to pick so much shell out of my mouth. Too bad. Like I said, I really wanted to like this place but I will not go back, unless perhaps just for drinks on the deck. No food though.

DISAPPOINTED! I took my mom for a mother's day dinner on Saturday evening with a party of 5 we made reservations but still had to wait a good 30 minutes, even though we were "on the top of their list for next seats" then we waited over an Hour and half for our entrees that were not top notch. There was so much wrong tonight and I am so very sad because I was expecting amazing things. We should have just got up and left, but the waitress was so very nice and discounted some of our food and apps that we had to see it through to the bitter end.The kitchen staff was erratic and unorganized with no direction for that many tables being served. I would have liked to have seen a manager but she was too busy trying to expedite food from the kitchen that she didn't have time for the customers. I could go on about each dinner and how it just was not up to standards of the pricey menu, but I am so very frustrated by this evenings events and was really expecting so much more from Bridges.
I don't do many 5 stars, but in my opinion, this is one of those. The view is great. The food wonderful. The staff most accommodating and friendly. The prices were too high, then I think McDonald's prices are too high. Our appetizers were the vegetable soup which was ordinary. The bruschetta which was different because the bread was soft, not hard, but very, very good. I had the crab cake which was wonderful with actual large lumps of crab. My husband had the scallops with mushroom risotto, topped with a balsamic reduction. If we had been in our dining room he would have licked the plate. The creme Brule was average. Mine is creamier. But it was still a great way too finish off our meal.
PRICEY WITH AN AWESOME VIEW ! DECOR: The view is awesome. Unfortunately I went here on a chilly Saturday afternoon so the outside seating which is on the deck was closed. The interior is very cool! Looks like a big wooden cabin and of course quite spacious. FOOD: We ordered GRILLED SHRIMP, CREAM OF CRAB SOUP, FISH TACOS, APPLE PIE(WITH ICE CREAM). The food was just OKAY! The presentation was impressive. The fish in the fish tacos and the crab in the soup was smelly/fishy. However if you eat the fish taco with with the sour cream and pickle, it tastes better. Also, the size of the fish was big, may be it would have tasted better if the fish fillet was cut into smaller slices. The fish tacos were served with some designer potato fries. I liked the grilled shrimp. The dessert was also okay! It was some sort of apple pie served in a glass that has fresh apples topped with a scoop of ice cream. It was quite hard to eat and we were afraid that the ice cream will fall off the glass or may be the glass will fall off if we hurry. SERVICE: The waiter was so polite. He did recommend us items on the menu and also kept enquiring of we were comfortable and happy with the service. The food was served pretty quick (within 15 mins from ordering). PRICE: Our total was approx $50 (including tips). But worth if you are able to enjoy the weather and the view.

Very good pizza and the garlic knots are awesome! A little pricey for pizza but a nice local place to support. Parking can be tough and hot in the summer but like I said definitely worth it.
One would need to be very hungry to stomach their food a real disappoint will go again just to punish myself!
Still very good pizza, As long as they know, that when one requests the pie to be EXTRA T H I N, that's the way we would like it prepared.

The crab cake sandwich left allot to be desired. I would expect any seafood restaurant on the Chesapeake Bay or surrounding area to have a lump crab meaty crab cake sandwich. What I found was a heavily breaded and seasoned cake at best. Don't waste your money...definitely substandard. Service at the bar was good.
The lump crab meat appetizer with a mustard champagne sauce was DIVINE. My friends had the crab balls which were mainly lump crab meat and very little filler- and they enjoyed them. We ate in the bar area, but there is a nicer restaurant side. The whole thing looks like a mobile unit- so it lacks a little ambience. Other than that, the food is solid...don't know if I'd come back though.
We've eaten here about 4 times and have never had a bad meal. We stopped for lunch on the way back from OC on this trip. We went for the crab and western omelets this time. My wife and I had half of each. The jumbo lump crab omelet was absolutely AWESOME! The western omelet was about as good as I've had. Excellent home fries as well. Great place with great food and service. They also have a great bar with several large TV's. Something for everyone.

Plenty of bar, plenty of tables, great views, great bartenders, delicious drinks and they keep it clean. It can get really busy, but even then, the service is quick. I am not a fan on the bikini contests on Sunday, so I am sure to get my fill on Saturdays. (Never had food here, but it looked good.) Be sure to check it out, especially if you can visit by boat!
This whole bar area is really a hidden gem to the DC scene. If you have a car and are close to route 50 you'll be surprised to find yourself a mere 30 min from the may bay bridge and maybe 45 min door to door for this bar. Sure that's not a trivial drive but everyone I've taken out here has loved the beachy feel it brings without committing to a full beach trip. Red Eye's is the place to go late in summer to enjoy the cooler evenings around sunset. They tend to have pretty respectable party bands on a very legit outdoor stage. You can grab tables on the dock along the water. Family friendly until dark. Service has always been good. Food is all solid, but honestly nothing amazing. Standard bar seafood like you'd expect in Ocean city. Always satisfied but never impressed. Beer selection is like a standard sports bar. The real point of coming here is the wonderful outdoor atmosphere on beautiful summer days. They have an endearing decor that is brilliantly colorful and naturally relaxing. Of the bars in the area this probably the youngest crowd. kent narrows certainly favors more of a middle aged socially active person. Don't expect to meet a bunch of kids in their 20s but on average the crowd is fun and energetic. Tip: have a DD and wander around to the various tiki bars on docks in the area and enjoy dancing to top 40 tunes on nice nights. Red Eye's is not a bad spot to stay put. If Red Eye is your plan for the night get there early for dinner and put your cover charge money to a couple beers or a fish sandwich. sorry the photo is blurry but gives u an idea of the feel.
I feel sorry for the waitress here. For a 4th of July weekend there should be more staff. Service was slooooowwwww, food was cold, we never asked how our food was because we would have told her the burger was cold. It has now taken us over 20 min just to get the check. Needs new management, your staff would get better tips if they had better support. Did not complain to the waitress because it was not her fault. Never coming here again.
