Stopped here on the drive from Elkton back to NJ. We only ordered a couple of drinks, strawberry limeade for me and a strawberry slush for the b/f. We waited over 10 minutes for them which seemed a little excessive. Apparently, the manager agreed because when the carhop brought out the order, she said it was comped due to the long wait. We didn't even complain so that's A+ customer service in my book. The drinks were tasty as they usually are. I'm obsessed with the crushed ice they have. Never had food at this location but we've tried several of their shake options. Always well made and half price after 8PM. Between that and happy hour between 2-4PM, you really can't beat it.

It was a dark summer hot night and a hot dog and a drink is just want I needed at that moment after a long drive rest. But this dive, pit stop is not worth a trip! Inexperienced, teen ladies who don't know how to be a worker, but know how to skate was slow to service. You have to yell at the drive thru mic and still the order taker was deaf. I can see her from a 50 feet window, not paying attention. I repeated my simple order 5 times. She decided to do the order in out of order. Sonic's Chicago hot dog is not for adulteress, widower, and/or a mob mistress. They will kill their partners if they feed this to them. You envision futuristic, space age, but Sonic is going down spiral to the 50's.

Went here to get the Pretzel Dogs, and they were out of them. The fries were like cardboard and the oil for the onion rings needed to be changed badly. Never again.

This is a great Sonic location and the food always arrives hot and fast. I stick with the chicken sandwich and find the burgers to be on the greasy side. I also like the hot dogs, including the Chicago dog. Their happy hour has half-off beverages and the shakes/drinks are great. The microphones at the parking spots can be difficult to hear/communicate with staff and it has caused us to receive incorrect orders. But the staff was always willing to correct the order in a timely fashion.

Food is fast to come out and is hot. Stick with the corn dogs or hot dogs. Burgers are greasy, chicken poppers are small and kind of dry (even though they advertise JUMBO... it's slightly bigger then normal popcorn chicken.) They brag about the new sweet potato tots... they were awful, greasy and mushy.

It's super-busy, but that's because the food is so good! It's inexpensive and yummy and you can get breakfast 24/7. There are tater tots and lots of other unusual fast food items. I'd definitely recommend it, just be ready to wait a little.

This is a brand new place to Elkton and I just tried it this weekend. Parking is horrible getting into the lot off of Rte. 40! They have people directing but still the flow isn't right. We chose to park at the end and use the walk-up ordering system. Took forever! I don't understand why they only put one single unit to order food in the outside area. They have a bunch of different items not on most fast food menus. I got the Coney Dog and a Hot Fudge Sunday. The Dog was good but the ice cream they use sucked... McDonald's for Sundays! Too much ice and not enough Coke in the cup! Their Mozerella sticks are great though!

A pretty good spot for fast friendly 'fast food' that is also yummy. Miles better than the other choices in the immediate area. I like the onion rings, mozz sticks, banana fudge sundae and the drink selections! This location is usually slow and the last two times I ordered my sandwich was cold. I emailed the manager and then it was taken off the menu. Problem solved, I suppose? Also, you may die in a fiery wreck trying to leave the parking lot and get back on to Rt. 40. So there's always that to consider.

I realize they have only been open for a week but the burger I picked up today had a piece of cellophane (clear pastic wrap) in it. Not an entire sheet, just a corner but enough to take Sonic off my radar. The burger was prepared well but in the end I was really disappointed. My empathy for an overworked employee hustling to get orders out was quickly eclipsed by the thought of me choking on plastic. It could happen anywhere I guess, but you know what they say about first impressions.

Been here over 6 to 7 times. Every time something is wrong or missing from my order. The food not cooked all the way either. And watch out for the car hops they do not look and skate could cause a huge accident. This location just doesn't have it all together

I've eaten at about 5-6 sonics before, three of them on opening week. I tried this sonic the first day it was open. I knew to not expect much as the staff is all new. getting into this place is a nightmare from 40, not even worth the hassle really. Their drinks are always delicious but the food that day was horrible (tots grease tasted weird). I have had 3 friends tell me they have tried it since that day and food is just not up to par and orders have been wrong.

A great location with a great deal of popular competition, Mcdonalds & Burger King on each corner. Went through the drive through and the service moved well and was pleasant, parked next to one of the squawk boxes (ugh). The huge burger looked great, just like the picture but the fries were hard to find. The burger tasted like it sat around for a while and wasn't up to the correct temperature. Had it been a little more than lukewarm it would have tasted much better and may even have tasted great. The frie(s) were even cooler than the burger, they were cold. They were cold, that is the few that I was given. I had to search the bag to see if the other two thirds fell out, but none were to be found. Probably will give them another chance.
