I like China Chef. There food has always been fresh, tasty and not too salty in my opinion. I'm from New York City which doesn't make me an Chinese food expert in anyway, but I've eaten at many different restaurants in all 5 boroughs. China Chef is the only restaurant I like in my area in the 6 years that I've been here. I would give 5 stars but I find the Chinese food restaurants in MD very expensive.

This is the worst take out I've ever had. I ordered the moo goo gai pan. Bland, greasy and flavorless. Two bites then I threw it out. I will never set foot in there again. I wish I could give it 0 stars, but it's not an option.

My husband and I came here to grab a quick lunch before heading on over to Six Flags - there was a lunch special menu from 11am to 3pm, all at $5.35! The entree comes with your choice of pork fried rice or white rice and a wonton soup or an egg drop soup. My husband had the Kung Pao Chicken where it came with fresh vegetables. The chicken meat itself was a little odd in texture and color, but he still enjoyed it. The soup was okay, too, with two large soft wontons in it. The place was clean, and the service was very efficient. The menu also offers appetizers, soup, lo mein, moo shu dishes, and chef's specials. There is also a coupon for 2 free cans of soda for orders over $20.

This place use to be top of the line! Unfortunately, last time I ordered from them the food was sub par, and the lady I spoke to was absolutely rude. Time to find a new carry out because I won't spend my money here again. :(

I find if I order the foods that use grease, like chicken hunan, my stomach hurts. Otherwise, the Hunan dishes are good. I prefer the combo fried rice, which has a good flavor, or the noodle dishes. The fried chicken wings are huge. They are a little cheap on the Mambo sauce and expect you to pay for a little extra. They also yell a lot. They do seem to work pretty hard there though, and wait on you immediately. Not much seating, but most people take out.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
