You might call this a hidden gem. "Hidden" because there's nobody here. "Gem" because the food is good. So I finally decide to check out the place. It's in the middle of a small strip mall near the more popular Corner Bakery. Looking in it's like the world has suddenly become de-populated and there just are no people around. It looks like a nice place that, amazingly, has no customers. Large, open spaced dining area with a bland, confusing menu board. Food is served cafeteria-style. Wait in line and tell them what you want. In ignorance or silliness ( I should know better) I walk across the space to where I think the line starts. It's the end of the line. It's bad design really ! When I do find the start of the line. The process begins.....But not without a stop into the unisex bathroom where some soulful music piped in helps loosen the bowels. There are two workers and they're nice people. The woman who served me helps me make my choice. Even offers me a cup of sample white and dark meat chicken. It's really good! I want a kabob but don't quite get one. It's more like a sample spread on a plate: eggplant, tomatoes (salsa-like), chickpeas and chicken. "I'll make you some fresh bread" she says A PLUS "We'll bring the bread to you at you table" Says the other worker PLUS TWO I get a soda. It's a surprisingly watered down Orange drink. Never seen anything quite like this from a soda dispenser. I sit and watch as a few more folks come in. BUT I'm OK with this. I don't mind the peace despite the vastness that feels like a void of no customer. The seating area is open and I pretty much have the place to myself. Nice spot. I imagine it's part of a chain. Food is tasty and looks good.....and filled me up. Plus it didn't cost too much.Someone else here called it a "Mediterranean Chipolte". Yeah that's about right. I'm a fan.

Coworker and I came to Roti because it was closer than a Cava which we had originally been craving. It was around noon time on a Friday, and parking was sheer madness. Literally had to shark around for a good fifteen minutes following people just to find a spot. The employees in the food assembly line were very nice, but the food was just ok. Next time I would rather just go to Cava.

I loved the bowl I was able to create for a quick reasonably priced lunch stop at Roti. Mediterranean Grill All the ingredients are high quality and so flavorful. I especially liked their white meat chicken (so tender and well seasoned) and roasted vegetables, which included brightly colored carrots, broccoli, squash and snap peas. I had a lovely tomato and cucumber salad and olives and spicy S'hug sauce (like harissa) to top. Their bowl comes with a pita on the side. You do have to limit your selections of sauces, sides and toppings (or pay extra), but, that helps make for a better combination in a bowl that remains simple and not overdone (like I've done and regretted at Cava Mezze). I guess I am a sucker for brightly colored, healthy food like this that you can't often find in fast casual! Keep it coming! Yes, please.

I have been driving by this place for months and after reading the reviews, decided to give it a try. I would agree with the reviews when they said it is a Mediterranean chipotle. I opted for the rice bowl, which came with a decent amount of food. It included chicken, hummus, grilled vegetables, rice, chopped tomatoes and cucumber salad and warm pita bread. It is advertised as the favorite meal. The chicken was good, but not great. The hummus was too thin for my liking. The grilled vegetables were tasty and the salad was chopped and mixed with an authentic Mediterranean flavor. You know the old adage you get what you pay for, this whole meal was $7.50. It was decent, but nothing to rave about. The service was pleasant. Maybe, next time I will opt for one of the other menu options. A good, but not great plate of food.

I love Roti, definitely a hidden gem. The food quality is great, you can customize the sandwich/wrap/salad how you want and they are expanding their food options. Register for the rewards program.

So good... I got a pita pocket sandwich w/chicken roti, roasted red pepper sauce (medium), tomato and cucumber, could-cous, red cabbage slaw, Spanish eggplant, and fresh veggies. I didn't order all the available toppings since it didn't like certain things, but nonetheless, my sandwich was filled to the top with ingredients! A little too much sauce for my liking... otherwise, everything was really fresh, flavorful and delicious! One of my favorite meals.

This review is totally based on the 2 catering orders we had for our office meeting and I have to say that food was good but quantity was disappointing for the cost we paid. The description said that the food was good for 14 people and we were 15 but no-one got a second serving!! The falafel/Grilled salmon was hardly enough for 12 people. Sauces,Pita and salad were enough though. The variety is good and taste was strictly okay.

Husband, grand-daughter and I stopped in for lunch today. The restaurant décor is fairly plain, as one would expect for a cafeteria style restaurant. It was a beautiful autumn day and a number of people opted to sit at the tables set up outside. On the patio I loved that there was a dog nibbling on his kibble while his master enjoyed his own lunch. Husband ordered a falafel sandwich, granddaughter the rice with salmon platter, and I had a "favorites" salad with roti chicken. I was a bit overwhelmed by the choices so when I was asked if I wanted it "as described" I said yes. My salad was good with the chicken, olives, feta, a grain that I'm not familiar with, chopped tomatoes, and romaine lettuce. Everything was good, except the chicken was a little dry. Husband and grand-daughter were happy with their meals. The staff were all extremely nice. The utensil bins needed refilling, but when I pointed it out someone came right away and found more forks. We got to Roti around 1:00 and there was a steady stream of customers the whole time we were there. The staff keeps things moving so there was never a long wait for anyone. If I'm in the area and looking for a quick meal I will go back, but maybe try the white meat chicken instead of the roti.

This restaurant is perfect for a quick and healthy bite. Parking is convenient and makes the overall experience very pleasurable. All of the staff is very friendly! I recommend trying the BPE (Best Plate Ever)

They've only been officially opened for three days now, and their lunchtime business is booming. There were a lot of upper management folks standing around, asking if you had questions and thanking you for your business - same routine as when their starter DC spot opened about three years ago. I ordered a 3 piece order of falafel ($2.25). It was actually free with an email I received after entering (and losing) a contest with them. In my opinion I won, just not free Roti for a year. I love their falafel. It's because of them I like falafel now. Theirs are crispy brown on the outside, soft on the inside, and have whole chickpeas packed inside. Splurge on a sauce; they're not free, but only $0.50. I am a traditionalist, so I always get the mild Tahini sauce. The Dill, Yogurt & Cucumber is good too. Buy a piece of their puffy, warm pita bread and you'll have a cheap lunch fix. Staff here is exceptionally friendly!

Looks really pretty, tastes really just OK. I don't know why I didn't like it. It just doesn't have a ton of flavor. Everything just left me with a "meh" feeling. These are all my favorite flavors but almost every flavor was super muted. No thank you

This place had flavor, but I was annoyed when I returned for the second time and I was thinking to myself how ANNOYING it was that I was still hungry driving back to work. Kill me! With that being said, I rate this a great-first-time-date :)

Was really looking forward to trying this and really wanted to love it. Chicken was dry and salty. Tried the best plate ever but it wasn't. Probably won't try again. Very disappointed.

Healthy, delicious food with generous portions. Good prices for what is offered. Have been there many times. My only disappointment is about their rewards program. You're asked to send a photo of your receipt through their app. No problem, even kinda fun. I've done this multiple times and several times received a message saying they couldn't read the receipt although there was no question that the information on the receipt was perfectly clear. The first time this happened I emailed them. A long while after my email I received a response and the situation was eventually corrected. When this happened again and again, it just wasn't worth pursuing. Even though that's an added perk, it's too bad they make it difficult.

I had the chicken kabob, tomatoes and cucumbers, olives, and fresh vegetables. I also got falafel as an extra side. It was all really good. Only annoying part was repeating myself to the staff so many times, but I was given excellent service and great food :-)

Good sandwiches. Cucumber sauce is essential. Similar to chipotle but tastes healthier and feels lighter in the stomach.

I love this place! Super fresh and flavorful, great for a quick lunch. It's chipotle style - Picking your base (sandwich, rice bowl or salad) & loading on the toppings.. I got half white chicken & half falafel both are soooo yummy. Added red pepper sauce & topped it off with red cabbage and tomato salad, a little feta and a side of hummus for my pita.. Honestly could have gone without the hummus but I'm a sucker for it :) All for like $8.50 !

This place has a nice atmosphere. I ordered a laffa wrap with falafel, eggplant, rice, and a bunch of other tasty foods. The final product was pretty small. It was only five inches long. They also don't offer any guacamole. It wouldn't make sense for a Mediterranean restaurant to offer guacamole, but it wouldn't make any sense for me to subscribe to such silly social constructions either. The total came out to 8 bucks, two cents, and a dime. The meal satisfied my taste buds, but it didn't satisfy my appetite. My friend agreed. Then we went to Ledo's for our second meal. There was a group of five people eating at another table. We posited theories as to how they are all related, where they are from, etc. Our final conclusion was that there were two grandparents, their adult daughter, her husband, and her young child. Since the husband was wearing a Duke polo shirt, we assumed that they are from North Carolina and were visiting for the holidays.

Delicious casual addition to the area! I agree with a previous reviewer that it's reminiscent of Cava Mezze Grille, but much better in my opinion. You can choose from a sandwich, Mediterranean plate, or salad and then add your choice of meat, sauces, and toppings. I went with a Mediterranean plate with chicken roti (dark meat goodness!), tahini, red pepper aioli, red cabbage slaw, mixed greens, and spanish eggplant. It also comes with warm fresh-baked pita on the side. Everything packed a big flavor punch. The portions are a good size and won't leave you feeling weighed down. I'll be back!

So I must have liked it on facebook, or done something, because a few days ago I got an e-mail from ROTI asking me if I wanted to select a time to come try their new location by Montgomery Mall last moth and try it for free! It is set up like Chipotle, and other fast-casual restaurants... assembly line style. I opted for a wrap, with the following: -Falafel -Roasted Veggies -Hummus -Red Pepper Sauce (Medium Spicy factor) -Spicy sauce (and yes, it spicy.... use sparingly!) -Couscous -Cabbage Salad -Feta Cheese So I've been a big fan of Cava Grill lately, which is a very similar concept... and that is kind of what I was measuring this against. That said.... I LOVED Roti! The falafel was not over-cooked, and very flavorful and all the other ingredients were also yummy and fresh. As I ate my wrap i felt like i could taste each thing i put into it! I would definitely go back and try something with Chicken. I'd also maybe opt for a salad, or the bowl -- because after using the nutritional calculator on their website... I discovered my wrap had quite the calorie count!

Got a rice plate (Best Plate Ever) without the rice. I got a somewhat dirty look from the guy preparing my plate as if this is against their policy or something. Without the rice it's too much food, so what's the issue dude? I'm willing to pay with or without the rice so please have a little more courtesy, thanks! The food is okay. A bit bland for Mediterranean.

It's a good amount of food for the price. Authentic? Well I'm not qualified to answer that but it certainly was tasty and uses a lot of regional spices and ingredients.

3.5 stars Came here for the soft opening on Friday (they were training employees and were offering free meals). Roti reminds me a lot of Cava Mezze Grille (seriously the Greek version of Chipotle). You can either get a sandwich (in a pita), rice platter, or salad. You choose a meat and three toppings. I ordered a steak rice platter (which would normally cost almost $9). For my sides/toppings, I got hummus, grilled vegetables, and red cabbage cole slaw. The platter also comes with a hot pita bread (which matched perfectly with the hummus). The meat was moist and flavorful. I also got the red pepper aioli over it which added a nice little kick. The rice was mediocre (and seemed a bit cold) and more of a plate filler than anything else. The vegetables were great! They said that the vegetables change seasonally...that day they had kale, brussel sprouts, carrots, etc. The kale and the brussel sprouts were a nice addition to the normal motley and were cooked very well. They were very strict on the three toppings (this is one part of their business model that I think could be improved. What I like about Cava Mezze Grille and Chipotle is that they will not limit you to the toppings available) and the plate seemed a bit small for the price tag. As we were eating, they also went around and handed out samples of the falafel. The falafel was hot, crispy, and tasty! I would definitely recommend the falafel and would order it if I came again. The staff were very friendly and efficient--but that is also probably because this was their soft opening. I think this place would do a lot better in a food court than as a stand alone restaurant. The strip that the restaurant is in isn't frequented that often--and if it is, it is usually for customers visiting a different restaurant. This isn't the type of place that I would go out of my way to visit but I guess it's decent food with a price tag that just doesn't seem to compute.

I normally don't write reviews, but I had to submit my first ever review to hopefully keep the masses safe. I generally have had great experiences at the Roti downtown near my old office, but this was miserable. Arrived at 11:30AM on a Sunday, while their normal opening hours are 10:30. Nothing was ready yet, an hour into opening. The apathetic kid who served me went straight from cooking raw chicken on the grill to grabbing my salad with the same gloves. When I asked about it, he told me not to worry and that he was left handed. Hope nobody got sick that day. Then, I got what looked like leftover burnt chicken roti from the previous day (there were only a few bits left so I probably got less than the usual portion too), instead of cutting fresh meat off the rotisserie. Adding insult to injury, I was not offered bread with my salad which is what happens usually. I generally don't like complaining too much, so I had a few bites of my meal and tossed it. Good times.

Previously, I tried this restaurant at Foggy Bottom which was decent, but because there was a dead bug in my salad here, I'm traumatized and won't ever be able to enjoy Roti ever again at any location. Even though it's relatively newly built, this place appears pretty unsanitary because of the employees and management. If you do decide to give the food a try, note that I got a salad with falafel (4 little balls) and all the toppings I wanted, minus the bug of course. It cost $8.43 total.

I've been to another Roti chain location at L'enfant Plaza many times, and LOVED it! However, Bethesda (Cabin John) was a huge disappointment. The portion was small (considerably smaller than L'enfant's), and too small for a satisfying lunch anyway. Chicken was overcooked and appeared to spend too much time in a warming tray. Seriously, I am chewing it right now - whatever spices and way of cooking they put into it, they need to change, it is disgusting - and I traveled the world... They ran out of rice, and I got about two tablespoons (are they trying to save on rice???)... Feta was a miserable tablespoon... I forgot about the sauce and they did not even ask if I wanted one!!!Tomato salad was good and hummus was excellent though. No issues with service or employees - nothing extraordinary, just good enough. Many reviewers here seem to like it because it is 'different'. Well, sh..ty food stays sh..ty even if it is different... It is cheaper and faster than going to a regular restaurant, so for very price conscious who want some calories on the run - go. For others who want a healthy enjoyable meal at a reasonable cost - skip this location.

Have to agree with JK. This place was really disappointing. The meat was not hot and the portion size was small for the price. The salads are not that fresh. Chipolte or Cava have nothing to worry about. It is too bad because the location is great and they did do a nice job of renovating the restaurant.

This is kind of like a Chipotle for kabobs but I love Chipotle and I love Roti's kabobs. I also love their gluten-free pita bread (it's the only place I know that serves it). The times that I have visited one person at least seems trained on how to handle gluten free products, and they made sure that mine and my daughter's food was prepared and handled correctly. My only complaint is there isn't a restaurant closer to me.

Went to Roti in Bethesda for the first time today. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent. The choices are few, but all are winners if you want fast, healthy food at an incredibly low price.

Food was ok, different experience than the usual. They ran out of rice 1 1/2 hours before closing. Portions were a little on the small side. Staff seemed inexperienced. Sauces and meat were good.

Lovely, enthusiastic and polite service. The interior is brand new and tasteful, This place has a cool vibe. The food was healthy and delicious and I ordered vegan which is saying something. The meats (roasted chicken, steak) looked mouthwatering and smelled very good. The ordering style is the same as chipotle. You can get either a salad, sandwich or rice plate. Roti deserves a visit, it is inexpensive and perfect for lunch or quick dinner.

Chipotle - watch out! Roti Mediterranean Grill is absolutely awesome. As a vegan that doesn't eat sugar (unless it's fair trade) I often have a difficult time finding a quick, tasty and healthy meal on the go. The staff were extremely helpful and the manager walked the through the vegan sauces to make sure that I was happy and able to stick with my dietary restrictions. This place reminded me of Chipotle, but with waaaaay tastier and healthier foods. I loved the variety of fresh food options and the taste was incredible! Don't skip out on the fresh pita bread - mine was toasted perfectly.

Decided to come here because I wanted to try something new! I decide to get the rice bowl which you pick a protein, a sauce and then 3 toppings and comes with pita bread. I got chicken roti, cucumber dill sauce and for my 3 toppings feta, tomato-cucumber mix and veggies. Now the veggies are really Mediterranean which I thought was a random topping but when asked what was on the onions (some sort of brown powder) I received no answer and a eye roll (yikes! She didn't want to be there at all) and it came out to like 8.50 not to bad and the service was pretty fast considering it was still the lunch hour! Now the food was alright nothing fancy, chicken alright, the sauce was yummy and the rice was very flavorful. I just felt my toppings were bland and my veggies (which included onions, green peppers, carrots and broccoli) were severely burned. Overall if I had to go to a Mediterranean chipotle style dining, I go inside the mall and have CAVA (more options, better flavors)

  • Mike S.

The Chipotle formula with Mediterranean food. It was satisfying but somewhat disappointing. I ordered the rice plate, with steak, veggies, hummus, and red cabbage stuff. Since they call it a rice plate, I expect the rice to be good. Instead it was dry and bland. The steak was good, along with the aioli sauce. The rest was fine, and the fresh made pita was delicious. This is somewhere I will probably go back to when I'm in the mood for cheap Mediterranean.

Looking for an insanely quick lunch? Roti. Ever since they opened up their Westlake location, they've been on one of the most aggressive marketing campaigns these past few months... and they're totally doing it right by handing out free meals. In the past 3 weeks, I've probably eaten here FOR FREE or half off at least 5-6 times. Roti, you wanted me to come visit over and over and it's working. Food - fresh, delicious, and different. There's no other place in Bethesda where you can get falafel, hummus, chicken roti, kabobs, etc with blazing fast service. Plus, I'm glad they opened up... kinda got tired of eating Chipotle every day. Location is pretty solid, too. The only thing that blows is the parking lot: it can get crowded with lots of (stupid) drivers. It's a battlefield around noon on a weekday. Bring your helmet. TIP: Make sure you KEEP YOUR RECEIPT and download their iPhone app. They have a rewards system, so all you have to do is snap a picture of your receipt and send it over to some super secret Roti receipt processing location via the app... and in less than 24 hours, they'll shower you with points. ANOTHER TIP: Get the "salad" option... it doesn't make sense to get the pita or just the plate. By getting the salad plate, you can put ANYTHING on your salad with no limitations on the toppings. Hummus? Onions? Feta? Couscous? Eggplant? Sure!

I am a fan of Roti as I have gone to other locations in the past. I decided to grab a quick bite here the other night. Although it was almost 8 o'clock, they were out of the chicken. To their credit, they were grilling it, but still. I waited a bit too long for my chicken. They were completely out of the grilled vegetables which made me cry on the inside, but I have since forgiven them. You go in, tell em the style, they slap it together and then you top it. It is like Mediterranean Chipotle. The food is good and if you get there when they are out of something, it is hot and fresh! It usually is hot and fresh, without the wait. It is good and fast and the price is okay. The hummus is good! Give it a try.

I was recently ranting about how chipotle tends to give you less meat these days and more rice and beans and then I went here and it was exactly chipotle except pitas with delicious seasoned meat on a stick, hummus, and fresh salads. This place at the present time is what chipotle was in its earlier days, which is awesome. A lovely alternative to corner bakery and decidedly less greasy than Ledo and Fu. The falafel is a little mushy, but actually quite delicious in taste. They have a foursquare special (I know I know, yelp rival) where you get free falafel with every third check-in. This place is a welcome addition for the region, my only gripe is they ate into the parking lot which was already small to begin with. Sultan sandwich is ftw.

The manager pulled out their allergens manual and took the time to go over what I was able to eat. I really appreciate the time he took to do that, I was about to give up! They cleaned the stove to make sure the other oils were gone and cooked fresh chicken for me. I'm so happy with the service and the food tasted fresh and perfect. I will be a customer for life, I'm sold!

  • Pete D.

I loved this place the first few times I went here. It has the kind of food I like to eat. But lately I've noticed the inmates are running the asylum. Most of the employees seem to be kids which is not a bad thing but they seem more interested in socializing with each other than doing there jobs. The place just doesn't seem clean, napkins on the floor, trash around the drink station...and employees who seem to think its a hang out spot rather than a job...so I'll skip it for awhile and check back later. Hopefully things will improve...I want to like this place but the we don't care attitude needs to change.

This location is a DISASTER! If I could give it ZERO star, I would. I love the food at Roti and have eaten at the GW location many times. But the staff at the Westlake location have no clue what they are doing. I have gone there at least 5-7 times, thinking that it will get better each time. Well, I've had it! They do not seem to have improved at all so I'm not planning on returning anymore. Here are the issues: 1) They never have the meats ready. Almost 80% of the time I've gone there, they have to cook the meat. So I wait. And this is at prime dinner or lunch time. 2) They usually overstuff the roll, so they end up not being able to roll it once they get to the end. And then so they start over from the beginning, so I wait again! 3) They have no system when they are taking the order. They staff just seems confused as to who is serving whom. Usually you go in order with the customers. But they have no system so everyone (staff and customers) are left confused. That's it. I have given you a fair shot. But now it has just become an inconvenience and unpleasant dining experience. I do not care to go back anymore.

Not going back as much.I loved this place when it first opened. Of course when you're new, everything is like a honeymoon. I have visited this Westlake Roti location tens of times and have encountered various concerns, but never voiced them on Yelp. Well tonight my friends, they messed with my portion I had been accustomed to. While they were putting together my chicken Roti, I asked why the portions were noticeably smaller. Apparently they were advised by management or corporate or whoever to lessen the amount served "due to cost of food." I mean really, just raise the price a little like Chipotle. Don't get people used to a certain size and expectation plate, simply to change that while charging the same price. Not good management!

  • Adam S.

Roti is basically a Mediterranean Chipotle. Pick a wrap, salad or rice bowl. Pick a meat. Pick your toppings and sauce. An be on your way. Food is consistently fresh and delicious although the portions aren't always consistent. Their mobile app and rewards program are great. Solid quick bite for a decent price.

I LOVE the food here but I have come twice when they have run out of an item. First time they ran out of chicken and we had to wait 20 minutes for them to grill it. How does that happen? Second time, actually Thursday 1/9 they ran out of rice. WHAT? You had one job people...it's 12:30, you know it's prime lunch hour, keep the food coming! Chipotle never runs out of food. Roti, step up your game. Instead I went over to Bobby's Burgers. If you guys want to stay in business you better figure your ish out because Montgomery Mall is throwing in a ton of places that taste just as good as Roti and pissed off people are going to go there when their chicken and rice is out.

My wife and kids had been here earlier in the week and after I returned from a business trip they insisted on taking me. As other Yelpers have said, it's set up a lot like Chipotle, which is not a bad thing by any stretch. I had the Double Chicken Kabob plate, which came with a more than generous amount of chicken, red pepper aioli, salad, rice and pita. My fear with this kind of dining is that I'll combine some bloody awful combination and hate my meal -- this was really very tasty, and the chicken was very nicely cooked. The kids loved the chicken roti and my wife really enjoyed her salad. Price was reasonable for a good sized lunch, restaurant itself was clean, the staff were friendly. Yep, I'd go back again.

Winner! When I hard Roti was coming to the area, I was looking forward to see what the lady was hyping up. I walked in blind, not knowing what to expect as far as the food. But the food was delicious. However, I am dinging them because of the staff and how they have the menu setup. The staff was out of synch. One would take the order, then the next person would yell at the other asking what protein I requested, then next up was the veggies and sides. The lady working this spot and the cash register refused to finalize my order. The wife had to put a few orders in as we were doing a carryout, the chaos continued with finger pointing and hollering at one another. Slightly understaffed? Still at a lost (although open for quite a few weeks now)? Regardless, we got our food correctly in the end. I know they provide a small menu with the items they offer, but can someone tell me why their overhead menu is behind me when you approach the counter? As a newbie and short-term memory, I had to two-step back and see what the heck I wanted again. Maybe this is a personal issue. But why not setup the overhead menu in front? Onto the good. The steak rice plate was great, couldn't ask for more other than the steak was kind of sparse (I'll have to ask for double portion next time). There's so much action with each fork bite. The steak has tons of flavor, the rice has wonderful texture and fluff, the couscous was just as good, and I went with the cabbage salad to give it a crunch. I opted for the spicy and red pepper sauce. After tasting each item, I stirred all the mess together and it made everything really good. The price is right, the food is wonderful and get the staff right, this location and place are a solid establishment. Will definetely come back.

I'm going to start them off at a strong 3 stars, because they just opened 5 days ago, so with that said, we all know that a lot can and probably will change. I liked that the employees are still very enthusiastic about their job, and it kind of got me excited about trying the food. I had a rice plate, which comes with any 3 sides. It reminds me me of Amsterdam Falafel + Chipotle. The rice in the rice plate is decent, not the best. It is mediterranean food, and they have quite a selection of sides (Cucumber+tomatoes, hummus, eggplant something, couscous, etc etc). I'll let Roti grow into their own skin for awhile, before I return to try them again! I would recommend giving this place a shot, it's a nice addition to the plaza here.

Good food. Only issue is that the kitchen seems a little small for the size of the restaurant, and they were having difficulty keeping up with demand. At minimum they need another deep fryer to keep up. Outside seating is nice.

Another Chipotle wannabe: Their kabob chicken was pretty dry. Lady serving was literally counting the pieces of chicken on her spoon before she placed it on my salad.

I go to Roti occasionally since it's a new option by my office, but am never blown away by the food for the value. Sometimes I place online orders and I must say they've had excellent accuracy until today. I ordered three lunches for pick-up and was in a bit of a hurry. Since I've never had a problem before, I didn't check the order. I got back and only had 2 out of 3 lunches, but was charged for 3, even double checked my online order. I called the store and told them the problem. The manager said he couldn't credit the card....what? So I asked if they could deliver it because at this point I could not leave again for their mistake. He said no and that they don't deliver unless it's catering. He then offered two free plates the next time and said to ask for him or the other manager. I asked if there was something a bit more official they could offer because I didn't know the next time I would be in and this seemed a bit flimsy. He sounded slightly exasperated and said to trust him, that it would be on record. I don't understand why he couldn't simply put it back on the card. I will certainly check my order next time, if there is a next time.
