Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I have never had so many complications regarding a pizza order in my life! While the pizza is awesome (giving credit where it's due), the service at this location is absolutely horrible. I placed an order online and because my apartment is new, I called the location to see if they have been to my building before (because the entrance isn't obvious). The guy on the phone assured me that they had and it would be no problem. Well fast forward 30 minutes, I get a call from the delivery person wanting to know where my place was located and how to get in the building! The exact opposite was happening from what the order taker (who I would later learn is the owner) told me. So after finally directing her into my building, she arrived with an incomplete order! The correct order was on the ticket, but obviously they didn't double check it before leaving. I just paid her and took the order. But because I've been experiencing the lack of customer service A LOT lately, I decided to call to complain. First, they send someone who hadn't been to my building after telling me they'd been here before, then they send an incomplete order! Wasn't going to let that slide. So I call and let the owner know about his missteps. He was apologetic and insisted on doing the entire order over, free of charge. I told him it wasn't necessary, but he insisted. So, the 2nd order arrives with ANOTHER delivery person who had never been to my building. 2nd time in one night this has happened! I threw my hands up. Thinking that was the end of that, all of a sudden I get the first delivery person texting my phone venting about her day to me and apologizing as well. Even though she was a cutie, it was still extremely odd (not to mention really uncomfortable) for the 1st delivery person to be texting me. Seeing how all I really wanted was 2 slices of pizza, because of their lack of double checking, I ended up getting 2 large pizza's and a boatload of drinks. While I'm not complaining about that, all that took place prior to that result was just ridiculous. In the meantime, whenever I want pizza, I'll just go and pick it up from now on. Although that won't be for a long time because I now have a freezer full of it. :-/

Stumbled into this place not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised! The owner was very friendly and made my pizza personally. Great deals and better than average pizza. I've only offered in person so no complications with my order.

I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews on here, but as most of them mentioned, the pizza is good. In my case, there were no delivery problems and it all arrived quickly.

Their pizza is good, not anything unusual or incredible, but a decent pizza and the best I've found for delivery in the area so far. So it's very disappointing that their service is so awful. They've left things off my order and gotten things wrong - they'll usually go back and return with whatever they forgot or else refund my credit card, but it's annoying and it's happened more than once. The last straw was when I ordered a pizza using the Eat24 app, which has included Pizza Boli's for at least the last year. When I called to see why my order was going to take so long (the time quoted was 10-20 mins, but when the confirmation came it said 35), the guy on the phone said they hadn't gotten any online orders. I had gotten a confirmation email, my credit card had been charged, but he was insistent they had no online orders and instead of trying to help resolve the situation, he hung up on me. I had Eat24 cancel my order, and soon after, the manager called me back and started arguing with me because I'd said on the phone that I placed my order online, but actually Eat24 sends their orders by fax (how am I supposed to know that?) and I could come pick up my pizza in another 20 minutes (so, even longer than the 35 mins in the confirmation). I told him I didn't want it anymore, since it had been so long and I'd already canceled the order and gotten something else by that point. He started getting really argumentative, repeating the thing about it being a fax over and over. I kept saying I didn't want the pizza anymore and he kept demanding I come pick it up. Finally he said "fine, we'll throw your pizza away!" (even though he'd just said they hadn't made it yet). It was really bizarre to have a manager call me and start arguing with me, and I think a sign it's time for me to find a new place for pizza.

Note that this review is for the owners business acumen, not a measure of the food or delivery. The owner at this store has difficulty managing the stress of owning a pizza chain. Over the course of a phone order I was placed on hold four times. Eventually he hung up on me without taking payment. Once I contacted the store to rectify and pay, I was accosted by the owner. The delivery staff is phenomenal and helpful but the owner is not well suited for business. If you are interested in ordering from pizza boli I suggest the 808 hungerford location as the management is better suited to take your order and handle your food.

If I could give zero stars I would. Three out of the four items were delivered wrong. No cheese on the western fries with cheese. Plain wings when I ordered Caribbean and hot. Then they tried to make me pay for the right items when they delivered them the second time. Never again. Nobody should order from here.

She said..."This place is exactly how I rated it....a-ok. Nothing great about it, but nothing bad about it either. For a cheap quick pizza, we usually get take out here because its only 6.99 for a large." He said..."

The service is bad, the people are rude and the food is hit or miss, more often then not its a miss.

Dirst visited here and used the free pizza. The owner was very kind to explain the menu in detail although there was some miscommunication in the beginning. He added extra toppings and it was really delicious. The price seems reasonable too. I will make a visit again!

One sunny afternoon, I was famished and I came here when they had their $4.99 one large topping pizza grand opening special. I got a large sausage pizza and some mozzarella sticks. The wait was only about 10 minutes which was good but when I took it home and started chowing down, I was quickly disappointed despite how hungry I was. The pizza was subpar but I guess that can be expected of a $5 pizza. The disappointment on my face continued as I was also excited about mozzarella sticks because who doesn't love cheese battered and fried, but these mozzarella sticks were as if they took a piece of string cheese and covered it in flour and microwaved it. It was that bad. I love cheese and I only ate two and threw the rest out. That's saying something there. I NEVER leave unfinished cheese. The only cool thing about this place was that their cardboard pizza box can be torn into six plates so you can slowly disassemble the box easier while you regret eating food from here.

A great local NYC/Philly-style pizza place. We've ordered pickup and delivery both - pizzas, subs and salads. The gyro is excellent - lots of juicy meat and tangy yogurt sauce. The meatball sub is really flavorful, I recommend adding fried onions and bringing plenty of napkins. The pizza is not too huge but is good value for the price and they have a huge list of toppings - we like doing half green olive & onion and half pineapple. Owners are sweet - ordering online and then going to pick up is the best way to have the food be piping hot with no wait.

It's not *great* pizza and the prices are a little high sans coupon, but considering the dearth of decent takeout pizza in North Bethesda, I say good enough.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
