One and a half stars. Soups are portioned more conservatively than other main entrees-- not even double the size of a side soup, and barely larger than the sugar cookies and rice crispy bricks. Thai hot pot had a fair amount of spice, soft rice noodles and limp shiitake slices in a thin curry scented broth. Pulled pork was decent, but the chicken was tough. Lime wedge that was cut way too long ago. My side salad was fine, though I didn't care for the heavy spicy Caesar dressing. Forgot a tomato cucumber side salad and a chicken noodle soup for coworkers, as well as dressings for two Med salads. Our intern swears by their BBQ pork and Med sandwiches, so I guess ignoring the franchise name is the safest bet. I'd rather send my office's business elsewhere to a spot that cares about getting orders right.

Food here is bland and filled with carbohydrates and a crazy amount of sodium. Between the three of us who have gone here twice now since it has opened, we just aren't impressed and wish something else would have opened in this spot. In fact, we are still angry that our little Irish Restaurant is gone (1/2 priced burgers on Wednesdays was amazing). I am a huge health nut and I just don't feel healthy when eating here. I won't go back again. Oh well, the only reason why the boys continue to go back to Noodles & Company is because they keep sending them free bowls or buy one get one free coupons via email.

I've been here several times since this location opened, and it seems to be going downhill instead of getting better. I work less than two blocks from here. Today I ordered the pan-fried dumplings and the Indonesian Peanut Saute to go. By the time I got back to my office (walked directly back) the dumplings were cold. The Indonesian Peanut Saute tasted like one of those instant Asian pasta dishes you find in the "ethnic" aisle at Target and the vegetables weren't cooked. It is one thing for steamed vegetables to still have a bit of a bite to them, but neither the carrots nor the broccoli appeared to have been cooked at all. The only good thing I can say about them is that they were warm. Maybe it was an off day and I'll probably go back again since there are only so many options near my office, but I truly feel like this Noodles & Company doesn't meet the chain's standards.

Rad place, super clean, super friendly tasty meals and all. If it's got any form of noodle here they make it. I got the beef stroganoff super tasty nice chunks of steak. Good portion sizes.

I ordered the penne rosa with shrimp and it was really dry and extremely under-seasoned. It looked pretty but when I got it back to my desk I had to perform an emergency salt surgery; that made it a little better but dang. Being the indiscriminate carbohydrate lover that I am, I'm a huge fan of the chain but this location might need to "season" (pun intended! lol) a bit more before I become a regular. But never fear, the delicious rice krispy treats will hold me over while they get their savory life together.

Not terrible, not great. This is my 6-year-old niece and 4-year-old nephew's favorite restaurant, if that tells you anything. I had gotten a free coupon in the mail for any bowl, salad, sandwich, etc. so I thought I'd be a hero and bring back Wisconsin mac & cheese for my bf. They kindly let me add meatballs at no charge, bringing the total to $0.00 (but would've been nearly $10 if I had had to pay, which seems pretty overpriced to me). The meatballs tasted like the frozen kind, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The mac & cheese wasn't mixed well...quite a few noodles were totally plain but the ones that did have cheese were tasty. Staff was friendly. I might try this place again, but probably not unless my niece and nephew were with me.

Wow, my first 1 star review. One word.....keeping it clean in case there are little ones reading......terrible. Between the five of us we ordered four different dishes. Two were unacceptably sub par - Curry Soup and Spicy Thai Hot Pot. Both were mostly soup (very little noodles, veges, chicken, other stuff that was supposed to be in there) and the broth for both was as oily at the Prince William Sound after the Exxon Valdez graced its presence. Total disappointment. My little ones got Spaghetti and Meatballs. Reminded me of my high school cafeteria fare - better than Chef Boyardee but I wouldn't serve it at my house to adults. The last was a steak stroganoff. Shockingly the best of the bunch - but that makes it the winner of the tallest smurf award. Blah!

When I ordered Mediterranean salad and picked it up. There was no utensils and no sauce for the salad! I was really disappointed and I have ordered from them many times with no issues. Today 8/28 it seems to be disorganized I had to wait long on the line to pick it up. You need to get rid of this person he looked so disorganized!! :-(

I don't know whether this location differs much from other Noddles&Company in terms of their food, but I can say that their service is amazing. I have been there a number of times (I work in the area) and have always been impressed with the staff. Keep up the great work guys! :)

This is their new location and I am writing this because its pretty close to my work. I have been to Noodles and Co. a hundred times and I have a few staples here. I have have gone here a few times since they opened this one. It has become a very easy breezy lunch option for me esp when I am in a hurry. My go to(s) are Penne Rosa which I get topped off with chicken breast, Thai Curry noodles which are a little soupy and the Indonesian Peanut saute. All three are solid lunch options. The food comes out pretty quickly . Th price is right and I plan on coming here once a week.

I really like the staff here. The first time I came was within the last 2 months. We ordered for my office, and it was a first for everyone. We were a little annoyed opening the bag that one of the small salads was missing, but my coworker that ordered it was so full and content with her actual meal that she didn't even bother complaining about it. The portions are filling. I have now had noodles from the same location 3 times. Everything I had so far was amazing. I love the fact that they offer gluten free noodles and salad to allow more of an option, they also make everything fresh and it doesn't taste frozen or refrigerated or any of that. I always do forget to bring my business card in, because they choose someone every week or month to have a free meal on them. The manager there is also amazing (sorry i dont remember her name) but she is always there when I have gone for lunch, and she is always personable. My birthday is at the end of the month so i had the free bowl coupon, but on top of that she gave me a rice krispie treat as a present for being a loyal customer. It is the little things that make you like a company, and continue to go there. I am not sure what an experience would be at the next noodles and company location, but I know for a fact when I am at the Bethesda one, I am in good hands. I have not gotten sick from cross contamination, so I am pretty sure they are trained well to know how to make allergen free meals. It is not overly packed so going for lunch is a breeze, but it is never so dead you wonder what they are doing to scare people away. a little out of the way from all the downtown bethesda busy crowd, which is a huge plus when i only have a 30 min lunch at work.

I ordered the Wisconsin Mac & cheese. The waiter brings it to me and there is a bean sprout in there. I take it to the front and ask for a new one the man says he will take care of it. When I get it back it looks like he just took a spoon and scooped it out along with some cheese. So I'm thinking what ever, I eat a few bites and find a PEICE OF CHICKEN in bowl! IM A VEGETARIAN!!!! How hard is it to make Mac & cheese?!?! I will not go again. And I don't recommend anyone else to go there. They will mess up!

A couple of months ago, I was lucky enough to have my business card randomly selected, and won lunch for my entire office (10 people) at Noodles. My office mate and I have frequented Noodles since it opened, but the rest of my coworkers were going for the first time. The staff brought us out appetizers, salads, meals, and desserts. As a regular patron, I got to try brand new things that I've never thought to order, and everyone else simply got to try Noodles. Reviews were great all around. Not only was everyone impressed with their meal, but they spoke highly of the staff as well. Walking in, I think they were expecting more of a fast food experience. Instead, they were met with servers who were knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous, which is the experience I always have here. In the end, the staff at Noodles made some new regulars out of my coworkers.

The service was great and quick. The food? I've had way better. I stopped in here after I realized ShopHouse was closed. Thinking of my experience at the Woodley Park location, I thought it might be a good substitute. It was definitely not. My bf got the mac and cheese and meatballs. The sauce wasn't seasoned well. Plain and nothing special. I got the grilled chicken pad thai which also had very little to no seasoning. It was supposed to come with some sort of peanut sauce, but there was none. The chicken was tasteless and the noodles all clumped together. This was not a good experience and I was really hoping it would be.

Awesome addition to bethesda. That new Mac and cheese dish is pretty epic! A bit slow since today was the soft opening. I'm sure this place will get better with time. Awesome interior - glad this place is here. Welcome to bethesda!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
