Consistently awesome breakfast burritos. Delicious salsa Not much for atmosphere, but the food totally makes up for it :)

Reynaldo's is a pretty solid joint; they are consistent and use good ingredients considering the fact that they are literally in the middle of nowhere. The breakfast burrito (which they serve all day) can be life-changing - it's probably the best I have had in my copious travels across North America. The salsa they have in the squirt bottles is pretty delicious, and you can tell that it is home-made. If you are passing through the high plains on your way to Denver, I'd recommend stopping by this place.

Fast food TV-dinner Mexican food. My wife is a huge fan of Mexican food and she couldn't even eat it. Salsa tasted like ketchup with a little BBQ sauce and a dash of store bought picante. Tortilla chips seemed like store bought chips which were refried in the restaurant, so greasy and hard you couldn't chew them. Tamale tasted like salt buried in canned enchilada sauce. Enchiladas tasted like the tamales. Burrito had no flavor at all. Mostly no heat chopped peppers and cooked tomatoes. The stringy meat had zero seasoning and tasted like it had been boiled. The refried beans looked and tasted EXACTLY like the canned refried beans you buy at Walmart. Overpriced, terrible food in a run down old fast food restaurant.

Good Mexican food. Best in goodland by far. It may or may not be the regional Mexican food your used to at home but it's authentic Mexican food. I stop every time I'm in town

I got a great chicken burrito to go at El Reynaldo's while driving west on I-70. Lots of nicely grilled, non-greasy chicken, some lettuce and tomatoes, no beans. The sauce wasn't salsa fresca but had good flavor-have had similar ones in Mexico. The staff were really nice and the bathrooms and overall restaurant were impressively clean. Womens' bathroom was spacious-a serene mini-break from driving. Would give it five stars with the addition of a little more fresh veggies on the burrito and/or salsa fresca. Was really craving anything fresh after all the fast food along I-70.

Solid 3 star burritos. One chicken, one steak with rice, beans, pico and guacamole. Can't expect more out here and better than the fast food chains close by.

Goodland High students LOVE this place. I don't see the appeal. The staff is friendly. The service is quick. The food is so-so. Steak'n Bacon burrito with extra cheese (not nacho cheese) and the carne asada fries are likely the two best menu options. You'll want to drench every bite in sauce for more flavor. I go back from time to time because I really like the people out there, and I appreciate their support of the community. I just need more flavor.

Decent and authentic Mexican street food. The adobado tacos are good and in soft corn tortillas. The carnitas is a bit dry but comes with homemade pico de gaillo. I don't think I would eat anywhere else in this town. It's not really a "four star" restaurant by international standards but I wouldn't expect that here, would you?

Menu is misleading. Food came out fast, but portions were really small. Beans were bland and left a bad after taste. Rice had no flavor. Chicken Enchilada's were tiny and just ok. Dumped red sauce on them for flavor. I would definitely not go back again.

Locally owned authentic Mexican restaurant. Great service and delicious food, although a bit greasy at times. If you're looking for Mexican food in Goodland then this is your place. I highly recommend the Steak and Bacon Burrito, Carne Esada Fries, or Veggie Burrito, but everything looks good.

I was happy to find an alternative to all the same fast food places on our 14 hour drive for the day! This place is right next to Taco John's on the part of town near the interstate (not really in town). The service was quick, there were bathrooms, and plenty of room to sit down. The food wasn't as good as I had hoped. Dry, unflavorful. I'm sure they'd have something a little better if I could have tried more off their menu. There's another Mexican Retaurant a little further north and around the corner to the east (910 W. US Hwy 24) to try next time we're passing through. Couldn't find it listed.

We stopped here during a cross country road trip where our one rule was, No Fast Food. This place leaves something to be desired but it's better than typical fast food.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
