Was here last week on my way to MN and stopped on my way back to TX. I was seated right away even though the parking lot was full. I had the turkey and rib combo with beans and fries. The food was great and the service was great. I wish we had one closer to our house.

This place is horrible. Meats were beyond dry, service sucked, and price vs portions is ridiculous. Also every single high chair was broken. Will never eat here again.

The only thing I order now are the ribs, baked beans, & coleslaw. Those items are good. The chicken is dry and chopped, not shredded. The brisket is dry as well. So disappointing. Oh, the brisket casadilla is excellent!

Consistently delicious BBQ joint. Always enjoy the Super Spud and the Philly Griller! Great service and great for catering as well!

We arived at 14:22 and were seated immediately. Our waitress was fun and friendly. She had plenty of menu suggestions when asked and knows the menu well. The food arrived quickly and was cooked well and flavorful but dry. It required sauce to be abpe to eat it. I prefer a moist BBQ that does not need sauce. The mashed potatos were excellent!

Every Tuesday night is all-you-can-eat rib night, and that's where you'll find me. I'm easy to spot - the guy with a pile of ribs in front of him and a big smile. Then again, looking around, I see several other guys just like me! Parking on that night is always tough, but persistence will reward you. My gal pal doesn't like ribs, so she orders from the menu and chooses to mix it up. Her favorites are the pulled pork, sausage links, brisket and occasionally she'll get the turkey. Those are good, but I'm all about the ribs. I also really enjoy the baby-backs; they're a few dollars more, but if you like them they're worth it. I'm more of a St. Louis type of guy; they're dry-rubbed, perfectly smoked and not fatty. I find they're great as is, but the sauce choices are adequate. You can also blend them to suit your own heat; it's all good. My favorite sides are the fresh & tasty coleslaw and the smokey beans. The okra is good and the fries fresh & hot but I'm too old and stuck in my ways. I no longer live in Derby, but it's still worth the drive to "scratch that itch" when it needs to be. If you've never tried it, you should go at least once and see for yourself. BBQ is a matter of personal taste and folks have their favorites, but basing your choices solely on other's opinions is narrow minded. If you decide to go on Tuesday, give me a wave; I'm the guy with sauce ear-to-ear and a big smile!

Nothing to write home about but good if you don't want to drive to Wichita.

I'm usually not that negative but BBQ is one of the things that I care about. With that being said this was by far the worst tasting BBQ I have tasted. I ordered a rack of ribs that I swear they pulled off of a mummy. The meat was dry and totally flavorless. There was no evidence of any smoke ever hitting these ribs. I figured OK maybe they rely on the sauce to get them by....WRONG ANSWER, it tasted like a cheap tomato based store brand. I've eaten at a lot of bad places, but none have ever compelled me blog about it. If you are looking for authentic BBQ this is the wrong place...drive a few miles north on Rock Rd to Hog Wild BBQ.

This place is ok for BBQ but not a place I crave for. I find the meat can be a little dry and not a fan of the BBQ sauce.

I love Rib Crib and make the drive from NW Wichita to Derby several times a month to eat it. The service is always amazing - the food comes out quick - and it tastes amazing! I can't wait to win the lottery and open one in West Wichita!

Love this place! It is a tiny bit pricey so I don't go as often as I'd like. But thhe food is so tasty! I've loved everything I've tried on the menu. They have giant baked potatoes with your choice of meat and all of the fixin's. The pulled pork is moist and smoky. They have a couple different styles of sace and all are yummy! The wait staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. Interesting atmosphere as well.

The service is prompt and friendly, the food is usually good. However, I had the Smokin' Chicken Nachos .... HOW DARE THEY CALL THIS ABOMINATION A NACHO! Pepperoncinis and barbeque sauce on a nacho? GET REAL! ICK and likewise UGH! Call this poor excuse of an appetizer something else, DO NOT call it a nacho.

Yeah, two stars about sums it up..."I've experienced better." Ok, I never typically try bar-b-que spots unless I am in KC or the Carolinas; I know bbq and this wasnt cuttin it for me. I ordered the "Pick your que" I think thats what it was called, anyway it allows you to pick your choice of meat, how many, and your sides. I got the pulled pork, smoked turkey, seasoned fries, and broccoli. The pulled pork was the best thing on my plate, probably cause I drenched it in the carolina style bbq sauce sitting at the table, which was quite tasty. The turkey was not very flavorful/dry, the fries looked appitizing, but tasted funny, but the broccoli was ok. My family and I went here for dinner and the place was packed, matter of fact its always packed when I drive by. People obviously like this place and I which I did too, but my first impression wasnt a good one. I was expecting to be blown away with an explosion of flavor in every mouthful, but I got just the opposite. The service was very good and the place had a nice feel, but the food didnt hit a home run with me; at least I gave it a try. Sorry Rib Crib I truely regret the $45 I spent in your establishment.

Basic national chain restaurant. Food was good and the service OK. Prices a bit high for what you get. Tuesday is all you can eat rib day at the Derby location.

I agree with the other reviewer--only sub-par food. I have dined here several times. The staff has always been courteous and the tables have always been clean. The food is average at best. The ribs are very dry. When you dine-in, the portions seem reasonable, but at all costs try to avoid ordering food for take out. You will not be happy on the serving size. The lunch menu is reasonably priced and a fairly decent variety at hand. Overall, the food is sub-average.

Didn't care for the food. Felt it was sub-par to Famous Dave's, Hog Wild, etc. Catfish was very fishy and dry.
