Let me say, I love going to Hooters. They by far, in my opinion, have the best hot wings around. Of course the women are a nice touch but even if they had old Mable delivering these things I would be a regular customer! I have been to this location a few times now for both carry out and dine in service. We have never had any issues with carry out. I also went with a group of buddies one night and dined in. We were all starving and service was taking a long time. We had ordered 50 hot wings and just a few minutes after ordering the waitress brings us a tray of about 20 wings. We considered digging into them but didn't want to be eating someone else's food too. So we told our waitress and she figured out they were from her other table that had walked out because of bad service. Instead of leaving them on the table the manager asked her to bring them back (and make us wait for our wings) because the manager wanted to eat the wings. Hmmm. So we sat and waited......and waited for them to finally bring our food. We got our food and they refilled our drinks with no major complaints but we were all a little miffed about why they took back the wings for the manager to have dinner. So, I will go back. Service wasn't that bad and the girls make the wait a little more bearable but it was odd.

My family and I went there yesterday and were terribly disappointed by the waitress and the food. I will not be back. The waitress should not be serving people. She made us repeat everything at least twice. I ordered the sliders and requested two of the burgers and two chicken. The waitress told me that the was not allowed although on the menu it says it is. My husband ordered the chicken strips because he was told that not all the sauces were allowed on the boneless wings. When his order came it was more like chicken fries. The celery sticks were bigger. My daughter's ordered the boneless chicken wings and the waitress split her order in two and she received 5 mild chicken wings that looked more than chicken nuggets and 5 bbq chicken wings. We told her that it was wrong and her manager took the food back to have it just redipped in the sauce. She didn't check on us or provide us refills until after she delivered the check. I couldn't believe the horrible experience that I had. I hope they make changes soon because I am sure the service coupled with the food quality is going to cost them.

Never been so disrespected in my life! New manager Ross is a real character I don't understand why they would hire this guy he's rude and disrespectful to staff and customer highly disappointed you would accuse paying customer and make a scene in a restaurant and really made yourself look bad.

Great food and service. Ignore the boobs and butts if u can. The staff are pleasant and fun. Food is served hot/cold depending on your order but always great. Enjoy the fun atmosphere and surrounding company. You are never rushed. Tip well my friends bcos they deserve it!

i would like to first start off by saying my visit here was horrible, the service was great and fast and like always a great place to hang with friends to watch sports. i had ordered a hot buffalo chicken sandwich which i always order when i go to any hooters, but at this specific location it was horrible it had tasted like plastic!!! yuck.... the only good thing i had were their fries they are very well seasoned. other than that i will definitely not be going back to this specific hooters.

This was pretty horrible service. The manager was there but too busy flirting with the waitresses. Our server ignored us and we had to ask twice for drink refills. When we did not get it, we finally asked the manager and he got them for us but we literally sat there watching the manager flirt with the girls while we were trying to get refills. The worst part was our table was literally right by the machine to place orders and the station to fill drinks. I almost just went and got my own.

Had my second unHooterific experience, and won't be back. After waiting 10 minutes to get sat in the half empty restaurant, we waited 45 minutes for our food (a salad and boneless wings). At the 45 mint Mark, we inquired again about our food....The waitress told us it was coming right out. We waited 5 more minutes and then walked out. This place does NOT have their crap together. If you're starving in Schererville, pick any other restaurant. If you want Hooters, skip this one and trek out to Lansing or Merrillville.

I've been to many Hooters. This one is by far the worst. Sent back breaded shrimp that had hot sauce just poured on top. Chef wiped off the hot sauce and sent back cold. What a shame after all the money I've spent at Hooters over the years.

When I lived closer, this was one of the two Hooter's restaurants I liked most. It was only a hop, skip and jump outside of Illinois, (where I live). There are a couple of things I had to adapt to. 1. They stopped having their $7.99 for 1 lb. of crab legs special and 2. The smoke. Of course in Indiana it is legal to smoke in public areas such as restaurants. Coming from Illinois that is sort of a shock. But for Hooters, I endured! If in the area and I have a taste for my trusty wings, legs and beer, I will definitely stop in.

This situation truly mystifies me. My understanding of a franchise restaurant system is that when a guest visits a franchise anywhere in the country they can expect to receive a consistent product. Apparently that is not the case with Hooters restaurants. I have visited the Schererville location on a handful of times and received chicken wings that are inconsistent with what I am accustomed to receiving at other locations. Most specifically, and I wish I thought to take pictures of this, I recently received drums that were no larger than the size of my thumb. When brought to the attention of the manager I was told that this size of drumstick or chicken wing in general is not under his control. While I understand that and honestly feel a bit silly talking about the size of chicken wings or chicken drums, I do have to say I am amazed at how their explanation continued. I was informed that this location is not a company owned location but rather a franchise. I was further told that it is within the franchise's power to select the provider/supplier for the chicken product and that and for that reason the size and quality can vary from one franchise to the next. Seems silly right? Bottom line here is that for some reason I keep going back. However I always look forward to visiting a Hooters that I know is company owned and operated. The difference, to me, is extremely obvious.

The service is great! The food is hit or miss. This time I ate here it was late night on Wednesday and I got the boneless wings and they were horrible! Almost like It was sitting under the food warmer/heat lamp for about 20 minutes before she brought it out because it was cold. .They got to go a little easier on the breadcrumbs and use bigger chunks of chicken bc it tasted like the bottom of a popcorn chicken bucket crumbs and the chicken was dried out, cold. I should of went with the traditional style! They deep-fried their chicken in peanut oil which does not taste good after it gets cold.

I like this one better than the merrillville one. They have better wings than Buffalo Wild Wings imo. The celery is HUGE and that's how it should be served with wings!! Limited on beer selection which does not make me very happy. Fantastic and friendly staff.

My friend wanted to try this hooters, I don't I've ever been like "Yeah let's go to Hooters". This experience didn't sway me in anyway, average to sub-par food and nothing special. If your looking to ogle young college girls who you have no chance with, this might be the place to try to life your "glory days" if you ever had them or not. But the food at Hooters clearly is not the main decision factor brining the boys to the yard.

i love Hooters wings and they didnt dissapoint here....IF yu can find the place.....hidden in a strip mall...very small sign on the road....we were seated right away........split 20 wings...10 hot, 10 TMI ( three mile island ).....cheeseburger and curley fries.....the wings were perfect......got all drums...only $1 extra.....pay it and get all drums....big meaty pieces....coated with sauce perfect....blu cheese was just ok......cheeseburger cooked med-rare just the way we ordered.....with bacon an mushrooms.....swiss cheese melted just right.....cutley fries came out cold.....when we told our server, she was very apolgetic, brought out fresh hot ones right away and said no charge ....even brought us more after we had finished the bowl.... thats good service.....i had iced tea....free refills, as is all the pop, too....went with my dad and he had 2 Miller Lites....they advertise coldest beer in town and boy they are right....ice cold beer yumm.....an Indiana Hooters special...... $1 domestic pints every Monday ( now i know why he asked me to go lol ) .....service as always was very friendly.....very clean place..... nice big bathoom too :-) ....very fun place....i will eat Hooters wings anytime....this location much better than the one in Lansing.....franchise owner here owns all the Hooters in Indiana...
