Love the pizza! I was elated today when I was sent on a job near one your restaurants. The pizza gods heard my prayers. I had the best lunch in months! I could barely make it back to work. I will always go out of my way to get Aurillios. Only wish for a few more. Returning soon R.Edward
The pizza was good and the service was ok. We went when it was pretty cold outside, the biggest problem is that the exit is in the dining room so when some people left there was a major draft. Our pizza got cold quickly and one customer was a jerk and held the door open until his friend walked over from their seat across the room to leave. I had to put my jacket back on.

This place is my not-so-secret vice. I ALWAYS have the low fat, no sugar added vanilla yogurt. Then I delude myself that it is healthy event though I add candy. There are about 25 flavors available. My small usually comes to around $3.75. The selection of fruit and candy add ons is quite satisfying. The staff keeps the add on bar very clean and neat and full. I like the plastic chairs outside on a nice day. inside can get loud, especially when there are a lot of children in the store. I suppose one should not complain about children in an ice cream shop but I am. The company philosopy is Christian and they make no bones about advertising it. GOOD FOR THEM! The staff is polite and helpful. I'm working on my 4th free (1 after 10 paid) this summer... Sweet Frog is my not so secret vice now.
I really like the fact that you can combine flavors. And they have a couple non dairy choices. Which is great when your allergic to milk!
Delicious frozen yogurt, nice selection and plenty of toppings to choose from. One of my favorite places for froyo.

I always have good service when I come here and leave the place with a really full tummy! It's expensive yes, but you get a huge burger and it is really tasty. The burger is a little odd because all the edges are flat and crispy. The burger itself is really juicy. The crispy edges are awesome and taste wonderful!! I tried a ham and cheese sandwich once and it was pretty blah so I will stick to the burgers! I also tried the Stuffed Green Pepper Soup and that WAS really good! The fries here are delicious with the right amount of crisp and soft potato-ey in the center! I am also a fan of their malts but those I do feel cost quite a bit for the amount you get in the glass. I still get them though. The only thing I did notice is that anytime I get onions, I want to die later. I eat onions all the time but for some reason anytime I put onions on my burger here it rips up my stomach. Easy enough to fix, but I really do like onions on my burger.
Greasy food done right. The burgers are pressed on the grill so they develop these thin, crispy edges that taste amazing. The cheese literally is oozing off the sides because of the oil, and that is a trademark one enjoys when going here. Their chili is OK and everything is a la carte, so it is a bit pricier than most places, but you get what you pay for and will not leave disappointed.
I don't know how I've never gone to Schoop's... I grew up in this area, back in the day(and now) people say how great it is and all that... shame on me. There are a few Schoop's locations in NWI, not sure how the other ones are, but this one's great. Friendly service, super clean and the food is phenoms. Word of caution though, the burgers - Ginormous. In me naivety I opted for a Double Bacon Cheeseburger and fries. When that sucker came out, I pretty much did and instantaneous Face Palm. There was no way I was gonna be able to eat that thing... Take a look see - yelp.com/biz_photos/scho… . So there I was, the first bite... oh... I'm finishing this. The hot crispy edges of the patties, the soft delicious bun, melty cheesy goodness and of course BACON. It's a pretty simple diner, booths and a low bar area where you can see into the kitchen area via a small order window. On occasion you may even see them busily toiling away at making the patties - yep MAKING the patties - pretty cool methinks. I'm glad I finally got around to checking this place out, around here you really can't go wrong with a Schoop's burger. Plus, locally owned and operated :) bonus.

My kid was in heaven here! In fact, he barely ate, LOL. This place is super cute and so fun for kids. The food is pretty good too. We had the pretzel appetizer, yum...buffalo wrap, and a panini. Everything was good! My guy had a blast watching the trains on display and 'driving them', watching the train deliver the food, and riding the train in the other room! He seriously had a blast. Fun place for a treat for sure. I might bring him back for an afternoon snack as he barely ate his lunch he was so distracted, but oh well, it was fun!
My grandson loves this place! The food is good and the potions are just right. The waitress we had on our last visit seemed confused. The silverware arrived 5 minutes after the food. We arrived about 4:30 and at 5:05, my daughter asked about the 1/2 price game tokens. She was told that it's after 5:00 so she can't receive the discount. The table next to us, received the discount and they arrived 5 minutes after we did and asked right after we did. When I mentioned to the waitress, she didn't seem to care. Make sure you ask for your tokens early. Next visit, I won't sit at her table.
Such a cute place for the little ones. We used to go frequently when my son was much younger. Just went again the other night for family night. (They were donating 15% of profits to my son's school.) He's nine now and maybe a little too big for this place BUT they do have an arcade and really good food for a reasonable price. They also have Happy Hours... 2-5 Mondays - Milkshakes $1.00 Tuesdays - Appetizers 50% Off Wednesdays - Kid's Meals $3.99 Thursdays - 20 Arcade Tokens For $20.00 Fridays - Free Train Rides And seriously... the strawberry milkshakes are so YUM. =] Lucas loves to sit at the counter. They serve you food off an electrical train. I've always though that was pretty cool...

This is the perfect lunch place! The service is always as flawless as the pie. They also catered my brothers wedding and wedding shower and everything was perfect.
Unique comfort food with a great atmosphere. Definitely try the bread pudding! Scarborough Faire Catering also offers great menus for any event. I recently had their citrus chicken with mango salsa - delicious!
They do not have what I call "an accordion menu", it is limited and for people that don't get it... That means the food is fresh! Most places that have a huge menu, well their food is reheated. It's not made fresh daily!! Best things to eat here (or at least my favorites) 1. Chicken Pot Pie, it is amazing and such a great comfort food! 2. The "grown up" Mac and Cheese, it is simple but again a great comfort food and is so yummy! 3. (The best for last) the Chicken Salad Sandwich (on croissant) is so flavorful! I normally do not like Chicken Salad but this stuff is "the bomb!" Also, the desserts are fab! The pies and the cookies are great!! I don't always get to eat here because of the hours but when I can I do!

Woooweeeee. I've long been a believer that Arby's is the best fast food restaurant around (and the most romantic... sorry Fazoli's!!) but Zel's has some damn good artery-clogging Roast Beef. Generally I always get the Regular with french fries. It runs about 6 bucks I think which is fairly pricey for fast food but it's well worth it. It's an Italian Roast Beef sandwich, very juicy (10 cents if you want extra juice!!!!) with peppers if you want them. The building is ridiculously ugly so you can't miss it. If you see an edifice with a bright yellow roof with yellow walls you know it's a Zels. Stop in and give it a try.
I don't know what this particular location does different from the others but this Zel's not only has better tasting beef, but the restaurant itself seems to be a lot cleaner than the other locations. Me and my wife always go to Zel's when we both have a craving for a big hot beef! It's all about the gravy!
I can always count on Zel's for having yummy roast beef sammies. If you're not on a diet, this place is great! This place has been around a long time and is a nice alternative to Arby's. I think it's wayyyyy better!

Food is always excellent service is great and fast. Typically expect a wait but it's worth it. For the price you get beyond the amount of food expected.
Can't really say too much about this place because I have only tried one dish for take out. I ordered the "Route 41 omelette" with hash brown potatoes. The staff at the restaurant took my phone order and correctly executed all my special requests both times I ordered. My omelette was fresh and had plenty of cheese and sausage. My route 41 omelette came with three small pancakes and a side of fresh hash brown potatoes. I enjoyed the omelette and potatoes, but the pancakes could be better. The pancakes weren't the best I've eaten, being a little bland even after adding butter. I would say the food is above average for the price. The portions are also pretty good with plenty to eat. I will definitely visit Omelette House the next time I am in Schererville.
After being neglected and ignored by next-door Amarillo's bad service, I decided to come here since it was next door and it was a restaurant...and was redeemed and came in to a very welcoming staff. The place was also busy, which kind of shows that it's a good place. It also has a 90s feel to it. I ordered a deluxe mushroom burger since I decided to get a lunch, with a side of chicken noodle soup. Oh yeah, not to mention their prices, it was about $8 for a big burger (I was on budget). I would definitely come back, maybe try their breakfast next time.

I live in hard to find unincorporated Schererville with a Crown Point address. Not much delivers here but a few pizza places. When you are looking for delivery, that gets old fast. I happened on Golden Phoenix while searching the internet. They are 6 miles away from us, but I took a chance and called. They deliver to us!! Had to pay a slightly higher delivery fee, but that is ok, if the food lives up to our standards! And boy, did it!!! We ordered orange chicken, beef egg foo young, Mushroom Supreme, crab rangoon (which came free with the price of our order) and beef fried rice. Let me start by saying the ordering process was fantastic! The gentleman on the phone was very polite and helpful and took his time with our order. The delivery was freakishly fast and super friendly also. And what was most surprising, considering the fast delivery was the freshness of the food!! It was by far, the freshest we have had in the area in the 10 years we have been here! The egg foo young had the light brown sauce, which is hard to find here. The crab rangoon was THE BEST!!! Super stuffed and fried perfectly!!! Very tasty! And the portions were more than generous! The only negative we could think of were the egg rolls that came with a couple of the dishes were not up to par. They were the smaller, more processed seeming type. We will definitely make this our go to dinner delivery place!!
Fast delivery. Always good and consistent food. Very reasonably priced as well! Two thumbs up here!
absolutely love this place! its the only chinese place i will order from. I have tried several chinese restaurants in the area and Golden Phoenix is the best hands down. I love their fried pot stickers and pan fried noodles. I have tried several dishes and only a couple have been just average. Their hunan pork is great! So is their beef with garlic sauce. I order smalls and always have enough for leftovers. I think their price is good too. Pretty in line with other restaurants in the area. delivery is fast too.

Sometimes I just feel like having a buncha grease sliding down my throat. I would not recommend eating fish and then drinking Pepsi, it leaves a weird coating in your mouth. The onion rings are very good. I always ask for extra crumblies when I have fish. To those not in the know, those are just fried crunchy batter bits. They bring your order to your seat which is nice not having to wait for someone to scream your order number at you. The people here are pretty friendly.

Great food, great service!! Our waitress Diana was probably the best and nicest server I have ever had, my young daughters even said so....we will be back!
Our server was polite and attentive on this dead day. The place was not crowded at all since I went in between lunch and dinner. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken which was ok. It was filling but the dressing could have used a little more garlic. My friend ordered off the menu. She used to enjoy a wrap they discontinued but they have a salad just like it. So they made her the wrap which was really nice. My friend asked if they have Garlic bread and the waitress said they don't anymore but now have ciabatta sticks instead. For some reason I thought my salad would come with one or two but it did not. I asked for a side of them when I realized I wanted garlic bread to eat with my salad. I got 4 pieces but there was no marinara with them which also bummed me out. The ciabatta was ok but it was just a thick breadstick in my mind. I like when ciabatta is crisp on the outside and soft in the center. Luckily they were only $1.49 so I'm not that unhappy. My meal was that and a regular chicken Caesar salad and a drink which came to $14.62. Honestly this places make a killing on drinks. My unsweetened tea cost $2.49 and I didn't get a refill so it probably only cost them 10 cents because there was a ton of ice so not much tea.
Best Applebee's i have ever been to. food tasted better then ever and the drinks were Perfect. highly recommended.
