Just tried fox's pizza for the first time tonight and it definitely won't be our last time. We ordered a pizza and breadsticks online and picked it up in store. The pizza was hot and ready when we arrived about 20 mins later. The pizza and breadsticks were delicious. Staff was very friendly. They also have a dine in option, which I didn't know before ordering for take out. Will definitely be bringing my business back:)

Very friendly staff! My husband and I literally walked in just a few minutes before closing on a Tuesday night. Staff had already done most of the cleaning up for the evening, but they still graciously made our pizza despite our lateness. Would definitely return because of the good service. Location is very clean, too!

Good grief, what a mess. I rarely do bad Yelp reviews and try to offer benefit of the doubt... But this staff need a lesson in listening. I ordered three meals, nothing too complex, just the meals and mayo. The order had to be repeated five times, seriously. Got the order, asked again for mayo, and heard "Oh I put some in there." Oh yes, one packet. For three meals. Thanks.
Have you tried Chick-Fil-A breakfast? If you haven't you should go today! I love this place for breakfast. A chicken biscuit sounds a little odd at first but trust me they are great! The employees are always very nice a chick Fill A too.
My wife and I have found this restaurant to be on the upside of extremely good. We try to eat there once every week or two, driving over from Camby specifically to eat there. The staff are always friendly, the food is excellent and the restaurant is very clean. I have found that a sandwich, waffle fries and a shake is more than enough for a good meal. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything here is good except for the price of some items on the menu is a little too expensive for example chicken avocado. But overall, good food, good service
As we've continued to come here we have been very happy and have had zero issues. Previous: The staff here are impeccable, but our last few visits have had some consistent issues. It started with my shrimp dish being 65% cabbage. It wasn't even that I didn't have enough shrimp. I did and they were delicious, albeit lukewarm. As a matter of fact, the dish was a mixture of lukewarm and cool. I love cabbage in their dishes, but the plating almost was to disguise the cabbage filler. Next trip, both of our entrees were cool and the fried rice had a taste like cleaner or chemical. Let me add, we didn't say anything and I know it would have been handled appropriately. The staff are tremendous, but we chalked it up to a couple of minor hiccups. After all, we had been here every Friday Night for weeks. Finally, on our last visit our satay appetizer was cold. Ice cold. It's no surprise they pre-cook these and reheat to order. These just came straight out of the fridge and to our table. We did say something and they offered to correct it (we declined) and they served us a dessert on the house. I'm sure we'll be back after the taste of cold spongy chicken leaves our memories. After all, the food is normally wonderful!! The Tom Yum soup is seriously delicious!!
3.5 stars. Everything was pretty good and service was good as well but it's just too expensive. $21 before tip for volcano chicken with fried rice upgrade and a side salad. Salad was a good value at $1.50. Volcano chicken is served on a hot skillet and wait staff pours sauce on it table side. The watery sauce lacked flavor and this was my only complaint as far as the food. Fried rice was good as well. I wouldn't come back solely because I can get equivalent food for a better price.

What a great find!! Authentic and very fresh food. Service was excellent! Prices are good too. I don't live in Plainfield but I will definitely be back for this little gem. Thanks Luke for the great menu suggestions for us first timers. They were spot on!!
We have passed Sal's Pizzeria in Plainfield for years. We decided it was time to try their food. Their salad was no doubt the best I have ever had, fresh, crisp and delicious. I wish my entree was as true. I asked for some garlic powder or minced garlic to give the dish some flavor. Unfortunately, it just didn't do the trick. My partner was satisfied with her meal, but didn't feel it was worth the effort to eat there. My server was young and didn't seem to be to interested in trying to satisfy us by suggesting any way to perk up the flavor. I was so disappointed. It maybe another series of years before we try eating there again.
I've eaten here twice since moving to Plainfield. Great pizza and you must try the garlic rolls.

I love this place! Long time customer. At both Brownsburg and Plainfield locations AW thumbs their culinary nose at average old buffet served Asian food. Everything here is served fresh and hot. My favorites are the hot and sour soup, and the lo mien. Also the honey chicken is great, fresh and crispy. A couple of things keep it from 5 stars though: 1) The experience sort of falls off when you dine in. Sometimes they get busy and with carry outs on the phone and at the counter and table full inside it's hard to get some attention. Lunch is fine usually not too busy. The trick is - be patient or come early or late.... Or get carry out. 2) Be prepared to eat some of you food off of or out of styrofoam, not ideal but worth it. At first I wrote this place off because I was turned off by styrofoam, but eventually the taste brought me back! Bottom line, great food made fresh!
I have been looking for a new Asian place for the past couple months- and for the time being, I have found it! Happy Dragon on Perry Rd just is not making the cut. This place is awesome! Nice on the inside, nice staff, and yummy food. We got the Vegetarian Tofu with white rice, the firecracker udon noodles with pork, and general tso's beef- ALL were great! We got the small portions and thought it was a good amount, even for dinner. I didn't feel heavy and weighed down after most asian food places. This place has take out, too. I can't wait to go back and try new things! The true test will be how they fare with my go-to dishes: hot n sour soup and lo mien, but for now they get 5 stars.
Delicious, food is always fresh. One of my favorite Asian restaurants. The Mongolian beef and firecracker Udon Noodles are my favorites. I have never heard a complaint on anything. Will be back again.

Two words: GO HERE! It took us way too long to visit here once moving to Plainfield. We heard about this place from a local and we knew we had to try. We set our alarm very early on a Saturday morning to get here and it was worth it! The red velvet cake doughnut was my favorite! Try them all.
I love Al's Donuts, make sure your dozen includes plenty of the cake varieties. The lemon is also a favorite, but make sure you call ahead to preorder those! So far the cinnamon sugar cake and chocolate frosted cake donuts are the reigning favorites in my house, but we are going to get our hands on the fabled blueberry and red velvet donuts soon. (I think those are Friday morning specialties!) Take cash, and when you reach for a donut in the car as you leave, don't grab the lemon, wayyy too messy for the car!
So you think Long's are the best? I beg to differ. Al's is everything a good donut shop should be. Small and efficient, they make the best donuts around, once they sell out they're done for the day. Everything I've ever had there is top-notch. Be warned though, I've seen them sell out by 9am on a weekend before so get there early to get the best pickings! Also, cash only, so be prepared.

We dined here for the first time today. Based on Yelp reviews, it was tagged to be a very good place to eat. It was indeed EXCELLENT! Amie (our server) was very attentive and kind (mother-in-law's 85th birthday) We will definitely come back again. It was worth the 2 hour drive! Highly recommended!
I stopped in Plainfield about a month ago, just passing through. I found several recommendations for Stone Creek Dining Company, checked out their website menu, and called in an order for pick-up. I had the Braised Pork Shoulder which came with green beans and mashed potatoes. The pork entrée was great, no complaints. Surprisingly, it was actually overshadowed by how good the sides were. Neither were run-of-the-mill quality, Stone Creek obviously makes an effort to ensure all aspects of the meal have flavor. The green beans are called 'bacon braised green beans' and were a 9.5 out of 10. The 'Sweet corn jalapeno mashed potatoes' were my personal favorite. It's a flavor I've never seen in mashed potatoes before and now I'm stuck trying to find it somewhere out here in Washington. Overall this meal was the best I had in my 7 day cross country trip and probably the best one I've had for quite some time. The portions were large (I had enough left over to eat it as brunch the next day) and the value was great. I don't remember exactly how much it cost but I remember thinking I would've easily paid more after eating it. As I stated in the beginning, I just called in my order, picked it up, and took it back to my hotel. The restaurant interior looked very nice (upscale casual) and clean, I wasn't there long enough to fully evaluate it. The location is interesting too, it's part of a small "shopping city" that looked like you could make a day of. Nothing bad to say about this place, if I ever have a friend headed through Indianapolis I'd tell them this is a must-stop.
It's been a mixed bag at Stone Creek. I've had some really awesome experiences where the food is fantastic, and there's no denying that the atmosphere is that of envy wishing your own home could be so well-designed, but I have had one weird night that just keeps my rating down to a 4, that could have been a 3 had my next trip not made up for it. First, yes, this is right next to a movie theatre frequented by teenagers more anxious to talk gossip during a film and cut you off in the parking lot which already fills up fast, but there is a hostess that you just know when she's having a bad day. Went for a special occasion once, with a reservation, and the hostess was just rude, everything from the "greeting" if you want to call it that to her clear annoyance of having to work at all. Then we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation where I found myself quoting Seinfeld about trying to understand the point of the reservation, yes 5 to maybe 15 minutes can be expected, but when it's 30 minutes on a common night to be out and 1/3 of the tables are empty and you just want away from the moody hostess... just not a good start. I have seen this hostess still there, but in a slightly better mood, just never fond of being blamed for wanting to enter their establishment, but it did feel more like an isolated incident. Hold on. I feel myself recalling more details of my last visit post-Ms. Moody Pants. Food, by the way, has always been great. Check your zoo/coupon book too before going, great deal in there. But I am recalling the 18 year old girl who apparently seemed to think that someone was there to discover her singing voice. We were seated near the kitchen, but not to close that you would hear everything, just the tunes of Adele randomly, and out of tune, being displayed every time the girl went to get beverages. Honestly, if I'm out to dinner with my husband, friends, whatever, I don't want to hear your audtion tape. So I now find myself at an impasse. The food is very good and worth trying, but the service is really hit and miss. So as I write this, I think that I will have to downgrade to a 3. Just too many annoying occurences at a place that I would otherwise love. On a final note, I do recommend the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, you won't regret it..... but keep in mind that the show isn't technically part of the dinner.

I was staying in one of the numerous chain hotels in Plainfield along I70, and the hotel book listed one pizza place closed, another that looked unappealing. Yelp to the rescue! Not only did we find a pizza we enjoyed (Founders Favorite) but the delivery driver delivered to our room door! Perhaps this is standard in the area, but I've only had drivers deliver to a hotel lobby. Not only did he bring it up, but it was piping hot, delicious, and just what we needed for a late night dinner after a long day of driving.
I love their founders favorite. I wanted it on a Sunday evening, but as Tom Petty once said, "the waiting is the hardest part". I called and they didn't pick up for 90 seconds, then I was asked to be put on hold for another 5 minutes and 50 seconds. I told the lady that we were going to call elsewhere because the wait was too long. It's a shame that sales had to be lost because of poor staffing, time management, or poor communication. Your product is better than your service Donatos. Poor, poor effort.
Cheesey breadsticks were so good we devoured them all. We all got the three meat strombolli with pepperoni sausage and ham. Pretty good too. From how they wwere cooked I can tell mine was in the middle of the oven and the other two were on the sides because they were a bit crispy. I enjoyed mine thoroughly, it had a bit of a spice to it but not too much (im not a spice person I don't like spicy food) but it was just right. So I guess order one at a time so it's evenly cooked maybe? Mother complained a few times of her crispy breaded food. It wasn't burned but it was hard to cut with a knife. Overall I give them five stars, it was lovely eating here. Haven't ordered take out yet but I live far from them so I probably would see if there's one closer to home. It's a nice bright clean looking place I had a wonderfullunch experience.
