Pizzology Craft Pizza - Pub Menu

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

I was really excited when a new location was opening up near us. I couldn't wait to hit it up and see if it delivered the same quality product as the other location. I wasn't disappointed. We ordered the Artichoke Fritters and Italian Mussels to start. The mussels were fantastic. They were very tender with just a hint of garlic. The artichoke Fritters were interesting. I would have preferred a bit more artichoke, but that could be a matter of opinion. Anyway, they tasted fine and I had more than one so they couldn't have been that bad. We ordered the Salsiccia pizza and it was perfect, of course. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas they serve. The service was great. Our server was relaxed and informative. I look forward to many great meals here!

Pizzology is finally closer to home so we tried it last night. Consistency was key here and I was not disappointed. The orecchiette had some nice heat to it with the red chilis. The Salsicca pizza also had the red chilis and that definitely brought on the heat. But it was a good thing. Good pizza! The four cheeses pizza is always a good bet. No inconsistency here. A suggestion....teach the staff how to pronounce the menu items. Our server struggle with orecchiette and my wine selection. We enjoyed our evening though. Thanks Neil for bringing Pizzology closer to Westfield.

The service was good and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The pizza was better than expected and beer is always a good choice.

I definitely give restaurants a leash when they open, and typically stay away for at least a month. This is 100 yards or so from home so had to stop by for a pizza. Pretty good, as has been the case elsewhere (I like the homemade sausage), quality crust, good char on the edges. Constructive criticism: However, getting a beer (moderate crowd when I visited) should not be such an undertaking. I know the menu lists a few local beers, but where are the other ones, and why aren't they posted in the menu or on a card on the table? Especially since (at the moment) it is beer and wine only. The bar is not visible to most diners, please more beverage disclosure. You could tell the waiter was full of half information and he knew it, despite being a pretty good waiter. That has got to improve.

We frequent the pizzology on the east side of Carmel, and were happy to hear one was opening in our neighborhood. We understand it was its opening week, but found it needs considerable work to meet the standards of the east side pizzology. First, addressing the positives, we were seated promptly in an attractive area of the restaurant, and our server was quick to take our order. Unfortunately, that is where our positive experience ended. We ordered beers, one of which was soured (which was not subtracted from the bill until we asked after sending it back), the other beer brought to the table was fine. After a long wait, our salad arrived, albeit at the same time as the pizza. We then waited for the plates to come to the table. The plates were hot which was great for the pizza, not so great for the salad. The inside of the pizza was soggy and undercooked. We enjoy a charred crust, which this pizza had, but with a charred crust you expect the center potion not to be soggy. Overall, we hope this place makes it and look forward to coming back soon for a better experience, but feel it needs a great deal of work to do.

I was not expecting to find artisanal pizza in suburban Indy, but this was excellent. We had great appetizers. The mussels were tasty, the special deviled duck egg was spicy and awesome, and we loved the octopus. The three different pizzas we had were all tasty and we didn't even venture into making our own (or adding a fresh egg on top). I had the pepperoni risotto for my main and it was fresh and spicy and yummy. And the tuna and egg salad was large, fresh and excellent. The service was a little slow because they were a touch slammed, but they were apologetic and friendly and gracious about it. Definitely a restaurant we will be back to with our family when we are back visiting friends in Zionsville.

This place has been recommended to me from a few friends, so I was excited to finally give it a try with my wife. It's located in the heart of the village of West Clay, an absolutely gorgeous neighborhood. Upon entering we were promptly greeted and sat in the bar area as requested. The first thing I noticed was the outrageous liquor prices. Fortunately for them I ordered a beer anyways. For a place that calls themselves a pub, their beer list was seriously lacking, one of the smallest I've seen. After we got our beers, our warm ricotta appetizer arrived. Gooey ricotta, truffle oil, and fresh oregano leaves blended together in perfect harmony. Served with seemingly grilled dough triangles, it was good. My only complaint, the ricotta was very underseasoned. My guess is that zero salt was added, pretty disappointing. The appetizer could have been better. I had read before our arrival that the homemade sausage was to die for, so that was next on my list. I ordered one of their pizzas with the homemade sausage on it, and I have to say that, too, was disappointing. Once again very under seasoned, but boy was there fennel. I did enjoy the pizza, but it wasn't even as good as the app. I'll go back at some point to try some new things off the menu. In the meantime, I urge the kitchen to pay attention to detail. Always taste your product before you serve it.

Best Pizza in Indy!! We love this location because we can ride our bikes as a family and the service is always amazing! Thanks for joining the neighborhood!!

Great food and nice service. What else could I ask for? Nothing more than Pizzology's Charred Green Bean salad (wow, it's good) and Salsiccia pizza! I was very impressed by the delicious salad with its fresh grilled green beans, beets, and prosciutto. Fantastic! It was hard to top, but the Salciccia pizza did it. Perfectly browned crispy crust and great toppings. The giardiniera was excellent and savory, and the sausage was amazing. My husband and I nearly fought over the leftovers the next day. :)

Another great experience, just like at their Mass Ave location. This area of New Market St. in Carmel is a beautiful area, where new buildings have been constructed with East Coast and American Craftsman architecture. The restaurant is situated in a lovely "old town" type of building. Our server immediately introduced himself, and informed us that his mission was to provide us with outstanding service that night (a very nice touch). He lived up to it, and so did the pizza. Te breadsticks are always phenomenal too. I highly recommend giving this Pizzology a try if you haven't already.

We're been here twice for dinner. The restaurant is in the middle of village of west clay. A little hard to find. It's cozy inside with what looks to be some outside seating when warmer. I like sitting in the bar area. Good selection of wine and beer, Monday night is half price bottle of wine night. We split a full size chop salad which was huge. We also had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The pizzas are big, we brought two large pieces home. They also have pasta dishes and appetizers.

Always great, but today had one exception. One of the best risottos anywhere is the mushroom risotto at pizzaology. I had the Saint pizza and it was simple yet delicious. Thought I would try the carbonara for a change and was disappointed. Chef, way way too many capers. Over powered the pancetta and everything else.

This is a great place to have close to home. We had the mussels, they were delicious and properly cleaned, no grit. I can't wait to return and try the grilled octopus.

Good pizza, horrible service. Very understaffed on a Saturday night. One of the pizzas came with wrong toppings. Waited and waited for drink refills. Nothing to serve the pizzas with. Not impressed.

  • Michael C.

I'm going to go 3 stars and say they get a chance to go higher. The pizza is, just like at the other pizzology locations, really good. I've also liked the salads I've had. Now for the constructive criticism. I like the place, but the service was a bit strange both times. Nothing overtly bad, but not quite what I want. And... the decor and layout leaves a something to be desired. The bar area is a little too long and narrow and the main dining room is a bit too plain. I like this place and want it too succeed, especially because it's close to me and offers good stuff, so I offer this as food for thought. It can, and I think will, get better.

The best pizza around. The breadsticks are a great kept "secret." They're not on the menu, but they are fantastic!

We were excited to learn that a new location opened in the Village of West Clay. Unfortunately this location is a huge disappointment. As it is a recently opened location perhaps there are some kinks that need to be worked out but some of the issues appear to be significant. First we were told it would be a 10-15 wait and we were directed to the bar. We were told the hostess would come find us. For some reason this place is terribly loud and unpleasant. Perhaps it's all of the hard surfaces and the regular din of a nice quality restaurant are amplified to the point you cant engage in conversation with a person sitting right next to you. So we stood in the crowded loud bar space for 10-15 minutes and then sat at the bar when some seats opened up. Nearly 30 minutes into the wait I went to the hostess who told me she had come into the bar and called our name 20 minutes ago. We were watching her the whole time and keeping an ear out to get out of the unpleasant crowded bar space. If she had come and said our name, or anything close to our name, we would have jumped at the chance to get out of the bar area. And she could not have called our name as we could not have heard her. In the 30 minutes we were in the bar she had to go up and ask people if they were the party she was looking for. She asked us if we were the "Joe" party of 2, which was not even close to our name. Luckily, we were seated shortly thereafter, but we waited forever for drinks, and waited forever to place the food order, waited forever for the salads and waited even longer for the pizza. In all, a trip to get a salad and a pizza for two took over 2.5 hours, we would not have minded the time so much if it was not such an unpleasant atmosphere in which to spend that much time. It actually might have been nice to spend that much time with my wife in a quieter more inviting atmosphere. It was hard to talk to my wife who was sitting across from me due to the noise issue discussed above which was not as terrible as in the bar, but it was still not good in the dining area. On a positive note, the waitress was very nice and very apologetic for all the delays. It was obvious she was doing the best she cold and running around working hard. She even gave us plates with our drinks which based on another review was a big favor for us so when our food did arrive we had plates. Another review indicated they had to wait for a plate after the food arrived. I can't imagine what is like to work in that atmosphere. She deserved the tip we left for her. The food was ok, but certainly not anywhere near worth the ordeal, and I have had better food at the other locations. I am sorry to say we won't be going back -- it is just not an enjoyable option and there are other places a little farther away where we can enjoy ourselves and the food. I really had hoped this place was going to be at least good, even if not great, or even mediocre, but unless some changes are made it will likely close in a few months I can't imagine how anyone would look forward to a return trip.

Excellent food as always. Bear with them as they work out their new restaurant/staff kinks and this is sure to be your new favorite spot! The breadsticks are a must have, oh and ask for Kelsey to be your server, she knows the menu inside and out!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
