The food was pretty good. However, be weary of going during your lunch break. If you do, plan on returning late because it takes 30+ minutes to get your food.

The decor is nice, but the food, not all that special. I've now eaten here twice and tried salads, pizza, and soup...none of which, left me wanting more. The "designer" pizzas almost always leave me wondering why people bother. The toppings were skimpy including the cheese and sauce. Also, a bit pricey for what you get...reminded me of mall pizza to honest. Really tasty pizza can be found elsewhere in Carmel, at least two other restaurants, of which, I'll leave out due to respect of Coalition trying to make it in this economy.

The food was very good. My kids liked the cheese pizza and they are very hard to please. I deducted a star because the woman taking our order didn't warn us how large the pizzas were especially when she talked us into changing the kids pizza to a regular cheese pizza off the menu because my kids were drinking water. She said she was saving us money. Well that's great but out came these huge adult sized pizzas and I got one each for my 8 & 10 year old. They could have shared on with some leftover. I didn't even eat half a pizza on my order.

Firs time there today. Very friendly staff, great crust on pizza. Prefer Coke or Pepsi to the Puck Sodas, but still good. Guys put up an umbrella so we could sit outside. Only complaint would be small pepperoni and far too few. Other then that we will be back.

Stopped in for a salad (The Statesman, their version of Caesar) and garlic cheese bread. Neither disappointed. But the icing on the cake (or pie, if you will) is the soda machine. They are made with pure sugar cane, and they are all delicious. Started off with the BirchBeer and walked out with a to go cup of Diet Black Cherry. Yum.

Wood fire pizza done right. Great crust, great toppings, and great sandwiches. This place does a great job without much fuss. They've also got some great local craft beer. Highly recommended.

When they handed me the box I paid 11.73 for (sausage and pepperoni) I could not believe what was in my hands. The pizza was a light as a feather. I am in shape and when I got to the hotel I ate the whole thing easily by myself. It tasted a little better than a frozen pizza. The staff there is friendly so I gave it an extra star. Do yourself a favor. Order a real pizza from papa johns or something. Because this will not feed two people.

First time here. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. I thought the menu had a very nice selection of salads, sandwiches, pastas, and pizza. I got a small house salad with creamy Romano dressing. It was fresh! Then I got the red flag pizza with roasted eggplant and roasted red peppers. I thought it was delicious. The crust was cooked perfectly and the roasted veggies had great flavor. I like my pizza sauce a little bit tangier. I will definitely come back,

Delicious. Not like we needed another pizza place on our list of restaurants to visit in this town. Seems like there are 3 on every block (and no, I am not kidding) but this one is different. Serving a thinner crust Napoleon style pizza, but with great fresh (and in some cases really different) toppings, it is an excellent difference. The family had a great meal there tonight. My daughter loved the Italian Wedding Soup ($4) and a small house salad ($3.75) which was really pretty big and loaded with so many toppings - and that was cheaper than the soup/salad combo that includes the other fancier salads ($9.75). My wife loved her Fettuccine Alfredo. Big bowl and with Italian bread. Totally filling and tasted great. We also ordered two pizzas. One was the MT. ETNA ($10.50) with Sausage & Pepperoni. Pretty traditional pizza but tasted great. The other was THE EMILIAN ($10.50) which I was told was there most popular one. Really different but amazing combination of savory and sweet with Prosciutto, Arugula, Fontina Cheese, Fig Jam! They do not have Coke or Pepsi products which is fine with me and my kids. They have gourmet soda from PUCK'S which are made with real cane sugar rather than high-fructose corn syrup. They are so tasty. Great flavors like vanilla cream soda, black cherry, and birch beer, in addition to cola, diet cola, lemon lime, orange, and root beer. They serve you on actual plates with real silverware and even giving you GLASS to drink out of! Like a real restaurant, not a fast food place. And save room for dessert! They have cookies which I am sure are good but don't get them unless you have kids. Grownups get their sweet treats one of two ways. Either an amazing Mocha Creme Brule (which is more like moose, but so good), or the even better option of CARAMEL WHIP (caramel whip cream on pound cake and fresh fruit. Amazing. We were SO full but we left happy and will be back!

My daughter and I popped into Coalition for lunch today as I was working from Carmel. I ordered the Emilion (pizza with fig jam, prosciutto and arugula topped with olive oil, Sea salt and pepper). My daughter ordered the Civilian sandwich (honey turkey, roasted tomato. Lettuce and dressing). The pizza was amazing, don't miss it but have your napkins handy for all that oil. The sandwich needed more meat.. Was a bit much bread Ambiance is great, fast, friendly service. Good seating options including booths and tables that can be moved around for large groups. Pizza, sandwich and one glass of Pinot Grigio was $29. Was not too crowded at noon on a Wednesday.

Great pizza and cool atmosphere! Craft beers and sodas on tap. Only real sugar in the Puck's soda. Great place for kids.

I just had a straight up sausage pizza for lunch, which didn't give me much opportunity to explore the trendier looking things on their menu, but the pizza was good, and so was the salad I got with it. Next time I'll try something a little more exotic, but they at least got the basics right!

Great food! Enjoyed pasta, pizza and garlic beer. It was nice that they offer Sun King beer. We will definitely be back.

I had this on a whim, thanks to Yelp, and it was delicious salad and pizza. Perfect lunch portions. The drink selection was a nice change of pace as well. Only complaint was the cookie I got as an after-thought, stale and tasteless. Overall, great place and staff.

Must try this place! Split a delicious salad and a pizza with a friend. Lots of options to choose from. If I'm back in town I will return to try more. Customer service was outstanding! The staff went above and beyond to give us directions around the awful construction traffic. Love that they only had a few beers and mostly local. Didn't drink wine but the selection and price looked really good. Don't drive past this place without checking it out.

Only been here once and that was a month after they opened. NOT a great experience which is why I have not been back. Hopefully they have changed since then. Wanted so much to like this place going in since it is new and close to my home but was let down. I will give them high marks for the decor and the Pucks soda kiosk. Also my wife's salmon salad was good. I have been to nearly every pizza joint in a four county area so I have seen the great, the good, and the bad. My son and I shared a pepperoni pizza, simple right? Nope. This was the most overpriced, overcooked, under toppinged, untasty piece of garbage I have ever eaten. I can say that it was similar in consistency and flavor to the crappy frozen Totinos I ate in college. No offense to Totinos. Yes, that bad folks. So I brought my complaint to the order taker at the front. She seemed unconcerned but said she would send the manager out. When the manager strolled over finally and asked how the pizza was and I told him in detail the issue, he neither acknowledged my complaint nor apologized. All he could muster up was "I dont think that is the case. All of our pizzas are made fresh and people like them." Ok so you make fresh CRAP then. Then he walked away. No "we'll refund your money", no "can we make you something else?", nada. Worst customer service ever and I have eaten in 47 states and 15 countries. Needless to say, we wont ever be going back. Too many other and better choices nearby. PS Tony Saccos is coal fired and tastes better (see their review I posted).

I've returned a couple more times, and there's definite improvement/consistency from the place, seems like it has found a rhythm.

I am a big fan of 'Neapolitan' style pizza, but i'm unsure if I would call this neapolitan pizza in the classic since. For example the pizza I ordered had an asian inspired bbq sauce and chicken, and it was delicious. Needless to say but I will take carryout from Coalition any day over delivery from a major chain pizza joint.

Great service! Great food! I ordered a Kale salad with salmon on it. Very good. Great for families. Please give this restaurant a visit. If not for anything else than for the cookies the size of your head!

Came here unknowingly with my boss for a quick lunch between appointments. Fantastic!! I got a sandwich (the Boss, I think, how ironic?) and ate the whole thing and the chips, and that's not something I normally do. All I could think was I definitely want to bring my family back. The food was fresh, outstanding, and so flavorful. It was clean, contemporary, and the owner made a point to come by and ask us about our food and experience. Loved it!

Went there with family great food. Kids loved the Puck's soda especially the vanilla cream soda. Great addition to Carmel.

So many different choices to pick from. I had a specialty salad that was delicious. Very clean, neat atmosphere. Serves alcohol. Has take out option. Good prices. Can't wait to go back!

I stopped by there for the first time yesterday afternoon and ordered a pizza for carryout. I was greeted the minute I walked in and only waited 5 min for my pizza. I had the Sausage Treaty pizza. It was amazing! Perfect crust and you could tell the sauce is homemade...great flavor! If you want a great pizza I suggest you go to Coalition. I can't wait to go back and try another type of pizza!

When you walk in you pick up menus hanging on a wall, then you order at the counter. I felt stress having to hurry up and figure out what to order to not hold up a line, so I didn't spend much time reading the menu. The girl who took our order was very friendly and helpful. When we were ordering two different create-your-own pizzas, she helped us find pizzas on the other part of the menu that were similar, which saved us money. The pizzas are 11", six slices. We ordered three pizzas for our family of four. I enjoyed my pesto chicken pizza. We had pepperoni on the other two and the pepperoni was very small and not overly covering the slices, but my family didn't complain. The pizza didn't take too terribly long to cool down before we could eat it, so that was good, especially for the kids. Next time I'd like to try the garlic bread and pasta. The place was very clean and I liked the decor. My only complaint was about the drink choices. They serve Puck's Soda with lots of flavors. The issue is that my family does not drink soda. I asked if they had any non-carbonated drinks like lemonade, and all they have is tea. We don't drink tea either. So it would have been nice to have had something other than water to drink. I would like for them to consider adding lemonade to the menu - that's fairly standard at most restaurants.

I've had the pleasure to dine at Coalition twice and have had two different pizzas, my favorite being the Triumph. The menu is very diverse with different types of pizza, salad and pastas available. I thought it was nice they offer Puck's craft soda, very refreshing and different from the norm. The pizzas come out fast and the staff is very nice. Lastly, the interior design is very cool - not what you would expect from a traditional pizza place. Coalition is not your traditional pizza place, definitely worth checking out.

Pizza quality (1-star) is roughly equivalent to Totino's Party Pizza from the frozen food isle. The look of it very much reminded me of the steamed pizza from Back to the Future III. They only got a second star because the service was adequate and the employees seemed to not hate their job.

  • Cijaye M.

Fast casual meets coal fired pizza. We tried 2 different salads, cheese pizza, and kids Mac and cheese. All were really good, and the half size specialty salads were perfect if you wanted to have pizza too. The serve beer and wine, free refills on the self serve soda fountain, and milk or juice for little one's. The service was prompt and friendly, however you full order may not all come out of the kitchen at the same time. We will definitely be back to try some of the other salads and the specialty pizzas!

Coalition caters to those who want their own pizza and want it quick. Menus are available at the entrance, and they have cashiers ready to take your order for your very own eleven inch pizza, sandwich, or pasta. After a stop to fill up your cup with your favorite Puck's soda flavor (they have beer and wine as well), you just need to find a table and wait a few short minutes for their coal-fired oven to finish cooking your pizza. There seems to be a growing trend of fast, personalized pizza without wait staff, and Coalition does a good job of offering this and a quality product. I started with Coalition's garlic bread with cheese, and it came out even quicker than the pizza. The garlic bread was quite delicious, and it was obvious that they used fresh garlic. I then sampled The Paragon (pepperoni), The Mt. Etna (pepperoni and sausage), and The Independent (cheese). All of these pizzas were good, and you can also create your own if you don't like any of their specialty pizzas. They all had a thin, soft crust that was not to charred and pretty flavorful cheese with a good amount of grease. The pepperoni wasn't too special, but I thought the sausage had a good amount of zest. Sharing pizzas amongst a group would work, but a decently hungry adult shouldn't have a problem finishing one. If you don't want to wait around for a pizza or have to tip wait staff, then Coalition in Carmel is for you.

I know reviews are inherently opinions, but I can't believe someone would call this place just "average pizza" or above average in price. But anywho... We went in Monday night and did their dinner special. One pizza, one salad, and two adult drinks (wine or beer) for $25. That's overpriced? You're crazy. The pizzas are all within a buck or two of $10. They could easily be split by two people (with the addition of a side or salad) or smashed by one very hungry person. The ingredients are unique (fig, greens, etc. on some pizzas) and the salad was great (it had corn nuts, who doesn't like corn nuts?). I like the ambiance. It's like Napolese at 49th and Penn mated with a Chipotle. Upscale pizza without the turned up nose of Napolese. I think it's a plus to be able to go get a good gourmet pizza without all that comes along with a sit down restaurant experience. The first time I went I was in and out in 20 minutes for $12. Give it a try. Maybe the hybrid gourmet/order at the counter model isn't for you. But it works for me.

Quick service for a to-go order. Had the Emilian (fig jam, arugula, prosciutto & fontina cheese) - a great mix of sweet-salty-peppery. Home-made meatballs were tasty as was the marinara. Definitely going back to try some other pies.

Great location, great decor, so so food, i thought price was ok, but then blaze opened up and smoked them on price, didnt like their crust, there called coalition, but dont use coal. Pizzology crust is the best in area

Consistently great food. We eat here all the time. All. The. Time. (It's almost embarrassing.) The pizzas are the best in town. The crust is perfectly thin and crisp, toppings are fresh, and it's reasonably priced. My favorite pizza is The Good Citizen. (Broccolini, Roasted Red Peppers and Tomatoes, MontAmore Cheese, Mozzarella, Roasted Garlic and Olive Oil Base). It's so simple, but perfectly executed. Their salads are ridiculously good. We often stop in just for salad!!! The Green Party salad is addictive...and probably what I'll grab for lunch when I stop in tomorrow.

It takes everything out of me to not go to Jimmy Johns when I'm at this intersection, but alas, even my meat craving body needs a break sometimes. Lunch is a real winner at Coalition. It's $9.50 for a small pizza, salad and a drink. I'm not going to tell you what pizza to get because it's super personal and I've had a different one each time. I tried the sausage, feta and pesto last time and it was super tasty. The real key here is the salad. Hear me now, Yelpers: GET THE CREAMY ROMANO. I always order it with my salad and the awkwardly ask the food runner for a second one to dip my pizza because I'm too embarrassed to order two at the register. ITS SO GOOD. Smear it everywhere. The soda options remind me of being in Austin. Vanilla cream for the win!

I drive by this place every day to work, and every day from work. I always think "What a cool logo, I should try that place sometime" but I never do. I think mostly because the location is awkward. This tiny little strip mall on its own near the round a bout of 116th and Springmill. One day at work, 4 of us debate on food and since we have eaten our way through pretty much all of Carmel we began thinking outside our little proximity box. Someone mentions Coalition and we all agree. I honestly had average hopes for this place. The style is Napolesesque and I figured it would be a failed copy. Boy, I was wrong. Ok, so the ambiance and romantic feel isn't there like it is at Napolese, but the quality is on par. I ordered the Athenian Pizza which was Chicken, Kalamata Olives, Roasted Red Pepper, Pine Nuts, Mozzarella, Feta, and Pesto Sauce instead of normal tomato sauce. I also switched out the Kalamata olives for green olive. This pizza was AWESOME. Cooked perfectly to give you a nice crispy bite without being burned on the bottom. All toppings effectively married together to create an amazing experience. If I had to nit pick, I'd say the pesto was really oily and if it sat too long, made the pizza a bit soft(soggy). Not sure if Coalition makes its own Pesto, but I'd recommend cutting back on the oil since it is used on pizza. I promise you wont lose the flavor with so much going on. :) The place is somewhat fast casual where you order at the counter, take a number and wait for the pizza to arrive. The ambiance is also very plain Jane. I was borderline wanting to give this place a 5, but I think it is just shy of a perfect score. I will be back again soon, and so should you!

I am sitting here waiting on my Paragon and my Teamster to go wondering how it could be that I haven't written a review for Coalition yet! The little gem off 116th in Carmel should not disappoint. The inside is clean and has seating for about 75 (from my quick count of seats). It has a casual and slight modern atmosphere. It would be good for a group. They has one table that seats 18 and many tables that could be pushed together as well. The menu is pretty simple - beer, wine, pizza, pasta, salad, soup, sandwiches. There are also appetizers and dessert. We like the Teamster (meatball) and the Red Flag (meatless with eggplant) pizzas. I have yet to try it all, but what I have tried has always left me wanting to come again. (There is a kids menu as well.) The beer menu is short but local. I really like the place. It is good for our family or good for a night out without them.

Love their pizza and salad lunch special. The soda fountain is a nice option with a unique brand (sorry I can't remember but I always get the root beer). It's very similar to a Corner Bakery experience, but smaller and free wifi. I wish the chairs inside were a bit more comfortable but that's my only wish. Love the meatballs too!

This was my first time in this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. I did not even know it existed because it is on the completely opposite side of town. I ordered the small dinner salad which I loved every fresh bite. My main dish was basically spaghetti with two meatballs. Everything was PERFECT. From the texture of the pasta, the amount of sauce and the flavor of the meatballs. The bread was also just right, not to hard, not to soft. My friend ordered their Ambassador pizza. Let's just say there was nothing left.

We came here for their Northside Nights fixed price menu and enjoyed it--garlic bread, salad, pizza and two desserts for $25. We had the Red Flag pizza with eggplant and red peppers, and it had a nice chewy crust and a good sauce to topping ratio. The Armistice salad was fresh and lightly dressed with a tasty balsamic fig dressing, and our two dessert options, mocha creme brûlée and caramel whip, were both pretty killer. The garlic bread, unfortunately, was not very good; it was doused in garlic oil (or maybe crushed garlic cloves?) and was too garlicky even for my taste, which is quite an achievement. I wouldn't recommend it, but that was the only disappointing part of the meal. Overall, the food was fresh and interesting, especially for an order-at-the-counter place. Ambience is relaxed but very clean and contemporary. Friendly staff, too. Oh, and get the vanilla cream soda from the machine!

the staff was super friendly. decor modern, open and nice natural light. pizza was great. i did not care for the pasta. a selection of puck's soda on tap was fun to try. you have unlimited refills and can try them all. also serve beer and wine. so that's a plus...had some local beers like sun king.

Food is average, nothing really outstanding or out of the ordinary.... it's good, just not memorable. I was not expecting it to be a fast casual eatery, I had just assumed it would be sit-down service. This is nice though because I think I will primarily stop in for the lunch special. (8" pizza, salad and drink for under $10). Puck's soda is served, which is nice to have something a little different.

I'm a big fan of coal-fired pizzas, however they are hard to find and my favorite place downtown closed a couple years ago. I was excited when I drove by this place a few months ago (I figured it they had a coal oven based on the name). For those unfamiliar with the benefits of using a coal oven (vs. a wood-fired brick oven or a traditional natural gas oven), coal-fired pizzas come out lightning quick due to the extremely high temperatures (over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit) and have crisp crusts that are still moist and chewy on the inside. Coalition is a quick-serve restaurant (you order at the counter and someone brings the food out to you). Servers will also bring you drink refills (or you can walk up to the drink station yourself). There's a small outdoor seating area, but it faces the parking lot and there are no umbrellas (it was hot and sunny the day I visited) so not that tempting. They offer several pizzas with pre-selected toppings, or you can make your own pizza. I tried the Emilien which was a very non-traditional pizza (proscuitto, fontina cheese, fig jam, with raw arugula thrown on after it's baked). It was pretty good (the crust was fantastic), but a little dry for my tastes. My wife ordered just a pepperoni pizza with roasted garlic and it, too, was a little lacking in the sauce department (again with an amazing crust) Besides pizzas, Coalition also has several sandwiches, pastas, and salads available for order. Beer and wine is served too. They have a neat fountain machine that serves Puck's sodas which use real cane sugar (yum). Pricing is pretty reasonable (pizzas are $9-12 and serve 1-2 people). I will definitely be returning and trying some of their other pizzas (I think I'm going to go back to having a traditional tomato sauce-based pizza), and maybe asking for extra sauce.

I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed. The decor, the description of the food...heck...the reviews...everything led me to believe that this place was going to be the next level in pizza. Ehhhhh...not so much. It's ok, but it's definitely not all that. I ordered the Sausage Treaty pizza and it was fine. But nothing spectacular. It was...pizza. I mean, it was better than Toppers or Papa John's but not by much. And the Puck's soda was...soda. Nothing amazing there either. It also didn't help that there was literally nobody in the restaurant. It was completely empty. If a place was really that good wouldn't there be people there? I was really hoping for some awesome pizza. It's not bad, I'd come back. But my expectations are tempered now. Wow, this was a bit of a depressing review. I think I need a hug.

Such delicious food, fantastic service, and delicious drinks! I love the interior of the restaurant, especially the felt lamps. I have tried a different pizza every time I've gone there and have yet to eat anything that wasn't delicious.

Clean and consistent. Food and service at lunch was great. I had the Statesman salad and the Anthenian pizza. It's not billed as some unique specialty hand made trendy joint, so don't expect that, but the menu has a god selection and I was pleased with the meal and would go back. It was a much much better experience than my meal last week at Crust.

  • Dustin W.

This place is very cool. Its nice to see new business that think about the whole experience. I've seen too many businesses get space, and just assume thats good enough to keep customers coming back. But they don't think about the design, atmosphere, and general overall experience. In Coalition, you know right away, they get it. I was very surprised to see that this is the first restaurant. Or at least under this name. It has a feel of something thats been around for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if I found out the the owner(s) have run other business, or at least came from a place like Portland, where design is a very important part of the business. Ok, as a Graphic Designer, its nice to see that there is at least one place that cares about their appearance. So how was the pizza? I'm a very traditional kind of pizza guy. I like my standard pizza sauce, single meat, and mozzarella cheese. Although my meat of choice isn't very traditional. Ham is what I like to get. So I found out Prosciutto is basically ham. (I grew up in a small town farming community, we didn't use fancy words. :) ) The pizza came out quick. Not sure that it was exactly under the 5 minutes that I read in an article, but was a close 6-7 minutes. That's forgivable. Not sure how to describe the pizza. Since I got a traditional pizza, it was very close. The crust in the center of the pizza was very thin. The outer crust was bubbled up thick. The pizza came out looking very handmade, unlike other chains where they come out in a perfectly round circle. The pizza was very good. I didn't hate it. But, its also not going to replace my favorite pizza. I've felt like I've had it before though. But no complaints about the pizza itself. I think for a pizza and drink, I paid around $13. Kinda wish it was under $10, but its close. The Pop machine was a very cool surprise. Its not Coke or Pepsi, its Puck's. And they serve the kind of soda that you'd expect to see back in the early 1900's. Rootbeer, Birchbeer, Vanilla Cream, and Black Cherry to name a few. I've never heard of Puck's before, so I had to look them up. They are similar to Boylan's. So its nice to see there there are other options than the standard Coke and Pepsi. I've now added this place to the list of places that I will probably frequent a few times a month. Just wish some other local businesses would follow suit and put as much thought into their design and space, and not just assume their product will keep people around. There are plenty of places that I probably just won't go back to, just because I feel depressed being inside their business. This place is not one. It a place where you can take a group of friends and have a good time hanging out in.

So I think the pizza here is just average and overpriced. I typically love sweet and savory pizza combinations so I ordered the Emilian pizza which is topped with prosciutto, arugula, fontina and fig jam. There was way to much fig jam and way too little prosciutto so the sweet salty combo was totally off balanced and just ended up being SWEET. This place also doesn't have regular soda, it has Pucks soda which is way sweeter than Coke or Pepsi products. If I ever come back I will just go with a water.

I've been to Coalition twice now. Both times have been good experiences, the pizzas and garlic bread have been tasty and come out quick. Someone I went with had a large salad that looked great as well. Next time I go I will definitely try the pasta. The Thai BBQ pizza has been my favorite so far. Reasonable prices on beer is nice too, but I agree with other reviewers that it would be a pain to get a 2nd/3rd beer if you wanted one. The staff/runners are young and friendly and helpful, I hope the owners can keep such motivated staff. All in all a nice, easy to eat at place. Not a primo location but absolutely worth the drive.

I have been to Coalition 3 times so far and had them cater a business lunch. I have not been disappointed. My favorite pizza is the Ambassador, it is a unique take on the standard BBQ chicken pizza, but with a much better Thai BBQ sauce and high quality Amish chicken. The biggest surprise you will find at Coalition is how great the salads are. I love the Assembly salad with the homemade Mustard Fig dressing, my wife always gets the Kale salad with Salmon - the best Salmon in the city - her words. Coalition did an excellent job catering a business lunch for 20 people, the meatballs were excellent, and I am told they are made in house. Overall a great experience and plan to come back many times for a quick well made meal.

Coalition is an average pizza place with above average prices. You walk in and there are menus hanging from the wall for your to review and order from. You go to the counter, order, and then the pizza is brought out to you. I had the pepperoni and sausage pizza, which was with typical pepperoni and breakfast sausage. A coworker had the BBQ Chicken pizza which was very good. Tables are small and it gets tricky if everyone has their own pizza. If the prices were lower, or it was an actual sit down restaurant, I may give it another try. As it is, it's good but not worth the price in my opinion.

Oooh. Have to update this. Visited again last night and had a completely different experience. Did not order pizza. Hubby and I shared the salmon with kale salad for $13. Kale was tasty with the dressing but salmon had a weird texture. Daughter ordered a chicken sandwich. She said it was just ok and pretty small for the price. . I also ordered the antipasti platter which one wld think wld come out first. Salad and sandwiches came out and about 5 minutes later my soup and antipasti platter came. It was actually not bad for $8. Roasted red peppers and some Italian meats. I ordered a beer and again it took about 10 minutes to arrive. Something is wrong with their systems. We do love the drink fountain where I can get all the soda water I want. Maybe we should stick with pizza if I can convince my fam to return.

Good pizza, decent price considering what you get from real pizza places in the area (aka not Pizza Hut dominos etc). Very friendly staff. One pizza and the meatballs filled one adult and two young children easily. Would definitely need to order a second pie if spouse was with us. Order came out quick and everything tasted great! Will be back.

Can't beat the pizza. I would recommend the Emilian, it's a huge curveball, but you're gonna enjoy it. If you're a home-grown corn-bred Hoosier there's always the unparalleled hammers like the Mt. Etna. Tis a Sweet place & awesome staff.
