They made my wedding cake and it was beautiful! Not only were they easy to work with in designing the cake, they let us try everything and didn't pressure us! It was delivered on time with no issues and it tasted great! And the price was right!

Classic Cakes does an amazing job with their creativity and design. I would rate them 5 stars for this and for the moistness of their cake. However, their frosting is disgusting. It has more of a "crisco" taste to it rather than a traditional buttercream. We stopped ordering from them because our guests never ate the frosting. Maybe they have changed their frosting recipe since we stopped ordering from them. I am not sure. But if they haven't, you can find better bakeries.

Best cakes I have ever had and I keep going back for more!! I stumbled upon this place over 8 years ago when looking for a place to make my wedding cake... of course, they won hands down, and I have been back over and over again since then. Very pleasant service and great tastes to help me with my decisions. Were able to create the cake I was imagining for my special day. Though a little pricey and not your everyday splurge on a dessert, for any special occasion, this is the cake to get! Love!

The ordering process from beginning to end was a breeze. I showed the cake decorator a picture of what I wanted for my son's birthday party (he's into Legos) and she took the time to draw up a mock image of what she could do. I paid in full and gave them my pick up date. My son's cake was done in butter cream icing which was cheaper than the fondant. The lego pieces are made of candy for the kids to enjoy. I think they did an excellent job. Turned out very cute.

Classic Cakes did our wedding cake back in June and I could not have been happier with our cake. They NAILED it. I gave them a picture and they did exactly what I wanted. I compared Classic Cakes to Taylor's and though I thought they were comparable Classic Cakes just beat Taylor's with their customer service and taste. I highly recommend Classic Cakes if you want a wedding cake that is unforgettable! A huge thank you to Classic Cakes for making the wedding cake of my dreams!

Terribly disappointed and very unprofessional. When we arrived for a tasting, the gal that was assigned to us never introduced herself, never smiled, and acted as if she definitely didn't want to be there. She left us alone most of the time and was simply rude. Never been treated so poorly throughout our wedding process. What is supposed to be a happy time, clearly was tainted by visiting this bakery.

We did NOT choose classic cakes for our wedding. When compared to other tastings, they were the least moist/quality tasting. They did not have many of the cake flavors they offered available to taste either, even though our tasting was booked weeks in advance. Additionally, they were the most expensive. The other main factor contributing to our decision was how we were greeted/treated during the tasting. It was obvious they were busy and acted as though they had better things to do. As far as exterior designs go, Classic Cakes had great ones! Very impressive. So if that is all you are looking for this is probably the place! We (a doctor's daughter and lawyers son.) walked in ready to hand them as much money as we needed to for the perfect cake, but we went with better taste and another company who actually wanted the business. We spent our $1200 +/- for a 4 tier cake somewhere else.

We ordered our wedding cake from Classic Cakes and the process could not have been easier. The employees were so polite and really allowed us to take our time in deciding what we wanted. On our wedding day, we got so many compliments on the look of the cake as well as the flavor. We ordered white cake with white icing and it was moist and had huge flavor. I saved the top tier and I really don't know if I can wait a year to eat the rest of it.

Classic cakes did my wedding cake a little more than a year ago. While this is obvious, I should let you know, my cake wasn't ordinary. I asked them to recreate my grandparents wedding cake, from the 1940s. Obviously, I had a photograph, but it was very fuzzy, since it was so old; the photo had not been removed from the wedding album since it was put there! 50 years later, I handed CC the photo, and they made it perfectly! I wish I had a picture to share, but it was gorgeous! I didn't see the cake until I got to the reception hall, and had to take a moment to myself and my dad to cherish it! I even showed a photo of the cake to my grandmother when I saw her next, and she loved it! She recognized the cake as hers, but in higher color quality! It makes for a great memory, something I can cherish forever!

Our wedding cake was spot-on exactly what we wanted. Fresh fruit wasn't a problem and our custom topper went without a hitch. I could only try our chocolate (gluten-free) layers and it was great. Everyone else said the rest of the cake was also delicious as well. Looked and tasted precisely how we had imagined. The reason I can't give a 5 star review is because of the delivery service. The lady was 40 minutes later than agreed on - barely making it in time for the reception. The cake was not centered on the table and some of the fruit had fallen off around the cake. It was easily fixable but shouldn't have been an issue.

This place made one of the most beautiful birthday cakes I have ever seen! It was an orange almond cake, and the sugar decorations were so detailed. I thought it was a little too sweet, but if you get a cake from here, it is sure to be a centerpiece.

Words can't describe how beautiful and delicious our wedding cake was from Classic Cakes. The cake is the turquoise and lime green cake featured in the photo section. I loved how unique and fun our cake was. Classic Cakes was able to make our design ideas a reality and it looked even better than we could have imagined! AND, it even tasted wonderful! Can't wait to eat the top layer on our 1st year anniversary! YUM!

Order my wedding cake from here. And it was terrible! I only ordered the cake for a cutting--it wasn't served so I can't speak for the taste, but the cake was a sloppy mess! I had ribbons around each tier with bows on the front and they didn't bother to hide the seams, the ribbons were coming apart in the back. They looked NOTHING like the photo I provided. The edging on the ribbon was wiggly and sloppy. I also provided a color swatch, a 2"x2" solid swatch, with the color I wanted. It was a sprinkles cake, so the color would never be exact b/c it's a mix of sprinkles, but it WASN'T EVEN CLOSE! I wanted a nice, average lavender and it was royal blue. Very frustrated b/c you don't see the cake until the last minute before guests are let in the reception. They should be embarrassed about the quality of their work.

Well...they do have an awesome website BUT when my wife called this morning for a cake for my daughter she hadn't even gotten out what we were needing and the lady on the other end interrupted her and said "we aren't taking any custom orders this week". Really? You couldn't even wait to hear what all my wife had to say? Fine...we will go elsewhere. It's amazing to me that in these times there are still people that could care less about earning your money!

We ordered our cake from Classic Cakes for our wedding. AMAZING!! Every other tier was vanilla almond, with red velvet as our other flavor. YUUMMMMM. As far as the decoration - beautiful - in fact, I brought in a picture of how I wanted it decorated and poof! - the cake looked exactly like the picture! As far as pricing - ours was approx $3/per slice - it's a little bit cheaper if you go for the classic flavors (white or chocolate cake) - but we loved the vanilla almond and red velvet so much that we splurged for an additional dollar/slice. We highly recommend Classic Cakes in Carmel.

My family has been using Classic Cakes for our special occasions for years and years, but I did not fully appreciate how fantastic of a product they turn out until I took a Classic Cake to a baby shower yesterday. After the cake was distributed, The room full of very loquacious attorneys was rendered completely silent, so in awe of the cake. Kudos! The chocolate cake was moist and delicious, the buttercream icing smooth, and the decorations - ducks and dots - were completely adorable. We ordered an eight inch round cake and it was more than enough to feed 15 people and still have cake to spare. I will need to get the remainder portion out of my house ASAP if I want to be in a bikini this summer!

Proud owner of another BEAUTIFUL & DELICIOUS cake from this place! I brought in a picture of how I wanted both my cake and cupcakes to look for my friends 25th surprise birthday party and they totally nailed it!... if not made it look a million times more precious! The cake was a massive hit at the party. Everyone asked a million times over where it came from. Chocolate on chocolate cake and an assortment of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. DIVINE. I am more of an icing girl myself, and typically just eat the icing off the cake, but THIS cake was SO amazingly moist and delicious, I ate the cake too! Lord have mercy! This place will never fail you. Did I mention I live 2 hours outside of Indianapolis and still come here? That's dedication.

I got an email from the owner, Ilene, apologizing for the miscommunication and offering to slip my cake into the order line for Saturday. She was very nice and apologetic and they are even letting me pick up the cake after hours on Saturday. I still think the lady on the phone earlier this week was rude, but this almost makes up for that. We'll see how it goes on Saturday!

My friend and I were looking for a tasty cake for our wedding so she had scheduled appointments throughout the area. Classic Cakes was our second stop of the day. I don't know what all of the fuss is about. We both felt that their icing and fillings were lousy. The butter cream frosting tasted just like Crisco and their fillings tasted like they were squeezed out of a plastic bag. I will say that their cakes are decorated beautifully but as for taste, there are way better cakes out there.

I bought a cake at Classic Cakes in Carmel for some friends' 25th anniversary, and we were all STUNNED at how delicious it was. This isn't your average bakery cake. This is, hands-down, the best cake I've had since my own wedding. I've passed along this name to all my friends and friends of friends who are looking for a cake for any party or event--from weddings to anniversaries to bday parties. The detail in these cakes is incredible, with some of the sugar flowers looking so real you'd be afraid to chance it. We got a white cake with buttercream frosting and a raspberry filling ... and it was DIVINE. You can't go wrong. Did you know: You can walk in and buy straight out of the case! Get there early for the best selection, but the cakes are replaced throughout the day as much as they can keep up. I want one of every flavor!

One year later, the top of my wedding cake was still delicious after 365 days in the freezer! I followed their instructions for thawing and it tasted as good as it did on my wedding day!
