Not a bad place. I have seen this place at a lot of wal mart locations. They do have a stir fry area which is good. But overall, it's like any Chinese Buffett. A little bit expensive though. For two dinners and two drinks it's 27.42. We had a 3 dollar off coupon. It's above average clean. Service was good. But this place doesn't have the "wow" factor.

Came over here after checking yelp. I knew that it was a buffet and it wasn't going to be anything fancy. The good thing about this place is that it's cheap $11 for a sunday lunch. Fresh hibachi grill. Nice servers. The bad, sticky table, humid, and the rice was gross. I understand if they can't make a good dish, but you shouldn't mess up on the rice. Would I come back? Nah. There's plenty of other choices around that I can get a better experience at.

Second time eating here yesterday. Service is okay. Food is average but i must say they got the crispiest and juiciest fried chicken! The place is cramped. Not enough space between tables. PS: their sushi is crappy. Don't get it. They're consistent with its quality

I went in there in the evening of July 2014. It was packed, and where we sat was very tight. The table was stickey, and I think if you were a very small person you could fit at this table! The food was gross, and stuff was hanging of foods that people dipped their spoons into! This place was awesome when it first opened but has gone down hill! I was sick when I got home! I will never go back, and I warn you to stay away unless you want to be sick!!

In driving down Barrington Road in Streamwood on one weekend afternoon I came across a place called "Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet". They seem to be a chain as I was fairly certain I had eaten at a similarly named place before, but I was hungry enough to decide to stop in and give it a try. The first thing I noticed was how crowded it was. Both the parking lot and the inside of the restaurant itself were jam packed. The number of little kids there might lead one to believe this was a combination Chuck E Cheese/Toys R us disguised as an Asian restaurant. If it's this crowded it has to be good right? Once I got over to the buffet area I noticed a huge line of people queued up to get food at the Hibachi. Not wanting to wait behind 15 other people I sorted through what was out at the actual buffet. Pretty much everything I took back to my table was subpar, I got cheese wontons, various types of chicken and nothing stood out to me as being good. Realizing there had to be a reason for the long line at the Hibachi I got in the very long line and waited. The Hibachi here works a bit differently than some other places with them cooking four or five peoples plates at a time. They had a pretty good selection of things to add such as noodles, rice, eggs, imitation crab, shrimp, other meats, mushrooms and so forth. After about 15 minutes of waiting my food was finally on the hibachi. The process for cooking all five orders at a time isn't fast either. I'd say each group of five plates takes about 10 minutes for them to cook. After around 30 minutes I was back at my table with a plate of hot food in hand. Now, it would be time to find out if it was worth the wait. Everything was very well cooked, the choices of spices and oils they added worked very well. The eggs mixed with the noodles made a very good combination, the meat was well cooked. I was very pleased with the outcome of the food from the Hibachi and had the time it takes to get food from the Hibachi not been so long I might have gone for a second plate. Overall I was pleased with the food off the grill from Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet. The actual buffet food wasn't so hot. If you're willing to spend the time waiting for the grill (or go on a less busy day), it's definitely worth the price if you like grill food. I'm going to give this place a solid four stars and would definitely return here.

Come on people, it's only $7.49 for a (lunch) buffet. Some of these reviews are way too critical. It's like criticizing the Dollar Menu at McDonald's - it's pointless. From the outside, the place looks sketchy. Once you walk it, it's crowded with a lot of families with kids running around. It's crowded because of the value - you get your money's worth for the price. I was expecting worse because of the appearance but I was pleasantly surprised. The fried chicken was crispy and seasoned well and the variety was plentiful. There were only a few sushi items to choose from but there were plenty of other dishes that stood out. The crawfish boil was also surprisingly good - the broth was spicy and unlike any crawfish that I've had before. I got my money's worth after devouring five plates of food. It's surprising that they are still in business because you are getting much more food for the price you pay. Haters are going to hate but you can't deny that you are getting more than what you pay for.

There is one redeeming quality about this place: the price. You get a buffet for around 13 dollars w/drink. (10 if you have a coupon.) I went here on a whim and I have to say everything about this place sucks except the price. Here are some examples: The Atmosphere: Table was sticky, booth was torn on both sides, even the iced tea the waitress brought me was warm with all the ice melted. The Food: Crawfish: were small and clearly dirty and not purged. Crab: small and not cleaned Salt and Pepper Shrimp: small and had huge black veins in all of them. Beef dishes: the beef was clearly spoiled and left a rotten meat after taste. Egg rolls/Spring Rolls: Soft and not crunchy at all. Wonton Soup: Giant wontons with very little filling and thick pasta-like wrapper that disintegrated after I touched it with a spoon. Stuffed Shrimp: Stuffing had no taste and the shrimp was tiny with a massive black vein. Hibachi: Food looks like its been left out to spoil all day. That was about all I tried before deciding to leave to avoid food poisoning. The Service: Decent because I did a decent job of serving myself. Conclusion: Don't come here unless you are desperate for calories because your money would be better spent at Portillos next door.

5 star service quality food ,and great price . I believe this is the best restaurant out there . I m talking from my experience and what I saw at this restaurant . First they took u to ur table and polite ask what kind drink would u like .when u get your food from massive buffet and back to ur seat the drink and straws r always already there.when u finish ur first plate and get more than come back to ur seat ur drink hand been refilled and empty plate hand been gone. They will give ur check with cookies when u r eating dessert . What u get late they will refill food that uwant that s call service Talking about food taste I think food there always best and qualities . They serve calamari shrimp salmon crawfish baby clam that's my favorite stuff . Hibachi away is best I can pick raw thing like meat egg and some vg ask experienced chef cook it right before u and cook as u my favorite season . The prize is reasonable 10.69 dinner 7.99 lunch . How could they make money . But there still have someone cheating age to got some discount and have eat and run away pretend forget to pay

Back again recently for another AYCE during the weekday. Without high expectations this place was not bad and not good either. There is definitely a interesting mixture of food typical of asian buffet. The ones that come to mind are fried shrimp, real tough roast beef that you cut yourself, a grill where you give the chef a bowl of items you want stirfried, they can also cook slices of beef on the grill but often overdone, very small sushi poorly wrapped and sashimi of unknown fish. What I do enjoy are the fried chicken drumsticks, steamed clams, mac and cheese, salt and pepper shrimp, and the sweet and sour chicken. You get what you pay for which is why it is so cheap. I would come on a weekday, less busy and no lines. The other cool plus is they did away with the self service ice cream and have the little ice cream cups. Place was pretty packed where people were all over the place and felt like a free for all with the food. Customers seemed rude and just cut in front of you when you are about to get food. Also, when the good food comes out, it seems like vultures swoop in and pile there plates up a foot high where the tray that was just brought out is gone within a couple minutes. There is a lot of greedy people where they seem to think food is scarce or maybe they think that if they bought food like shrimp in the store it would cost a lot, so they stock pile their plates trying to take advantage of the value? Overall, the place is dirty where the floor was sticky and food is very greasy. I didn't eat a whole lot of it or didn't join the bandwagon of being a pack of hyenas when food came out because I knew it would not sit well with me later due to the greasiness. Sushi rolls were also so small and was a D- just passing as sushi.

My family and I always come here when I come to visit, and it has quite tasty foods. Most things are definitely on the greasy side but I enjoy the foods they have here. My favorites include the mac n cheese, beef broccoli with lo mein, BBQ Ribs (not very asian I know but it is well seasoned and tasted very good), chicken wings (its good when its piping hot and fresh out of the fryer!), crab ragoon, fried shrimp, steamed clams, this egg puffy sweat bread, and the ice cream! I always mix two ice cream flavors together (for example, strawberry and vanilla to make strawberry cream or orange sherbet and vanilla to make creamsicle). Yes I know, so creative. :] Service is very quick and there are waiters and waitresses always passing by to clear the tables very quickly. It does seem like a waste to have to wash so many dishes but they keep it sanitary by not allowing used plates to re-enter the buffet line in case of contamination. There is plenty of parking around this grill and it is very children friendly. I have been to this place twice and this specific location is much better than other Hibachi grills because of the variety it offers.

Went here expecting the usual, average but pleasant food that the other Hibachi grills in the area have. I regretted going there as soon as I sat down. The selection was probably 2/3 that the others have. Meat was very fatty. The atmosphere in the restaurant was somewhat rundown looking. When the bill came I was expecting it to match the food, atmosphere and clientele but lo and behold it was $11 a person. No thank you.

As a buffet connoisseur (--- being Filipino with picky-eating parents who don't have big appetites, the buffet is where we usually end up-- ) This place is pretty great. Huge seafood selection. Hollandaise sauce-like mussels, flavorful crawfish, salt and pepper shrimp, fried squid, clams, sushi.... this place has got it all. Their barbecue ribs and chicken are also pretty good. -- i have yet to try the hibachi station. What really makes this place great is how affordable it is. At most, it's about $10 per person. SO affordable! This buffet is clean and you can tell they try and make sure the food is quickly refilled and kept fresh. My only gripe is that the sushi was cold- i mean, it was like it was made overnight and just taken out of the fridge kind of cold. But overall, really good. As with all buffets, some Items are hit and miss. I kind of like that the ice cream is in individual packages, but i do love me some soft serve too. Absolutely worth checking out.

Buffets in general usually disappoint me. But they've always held a certain fun appeal for me since childhood. The freedom of choice and a plethora of selection with the prospect of finishing the meal with desserts. Coming back to your table with your plate of food selection. Seeing what your dining buddies voluntarily choose to eat & how much. I like the casual ambiance of a buffet too. The downside is that you can't bring home leftovers. When I go to a sit-down restaurant, I usually box leftovers, essentially halving my meal cost. Then there is quality control, along with sanitation. When I go to a buffet, I try to select little amounts of items that pique my interest. An amateur would pile food, yet leave behind a lot of leftovers when the server takes away the plate. I feel too guilty doing that. So at this buffet, I got to sample a lot of dishes (I avoided the sushi station). Of all the items that I tried, I liked the chicken drumsticks the best; they reminded me of Korean gampoongi. The sauce was spicy and reminiscent of gochujang, spicy Korean chili paste. Crispy and non-soggy. Good size to them. I also liked their fruit selection. Wasn't impressed with their desserts. The only reason I would come back to this place would be for their chicken drumsticks. YUM!

It's your typical, mediocre Oriental buffet. Hooray! There were hits (pretty much anything with chicken, fried, or slathered in a sweet sauce) and there were misses (dry salmon, flavorless sushi, and that strange octopus dish they serve). The prices are super reasonable for the amount of food, ~$7 for lunch. At least some of the food will be a hit. But let's be real, there is another reason to go. Seeing the labels that got lost in translation. It's a humorous little scavenger hunt. Perhaps you can find the "beef sannwich", "Itallian noodles", or the infamous "Franch dressing". Buffets have been a staple in my life, for better or worse. A lot of the time, it's for worse (for the waistline or ego), but hey, a cheap meal is a cheap meal.

Well... this isn't the best buffet I have ever been to, but its not terrible by any means Plenty of choices including sushi, soup, American staples (mac and cheese, pizza), typical Chinese dishes (Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, etc). Nothing was disgusting (yes, there is plenty of grease in some of the fried options), but I was never disappointed. The interior is not the best, but who really cares when you are eating for $9.95 (or in our case $6.95--they always have coupons in Saver Magazines). Our table was always quickly cleaned and they were quick on Pop re-fills. If you are looking for a quick and cheap meal, this is definitely a place to stop at... but if you want something a little more elegant I suggest you hit up another restaurant.

Not bad for a buffet! First consider the dinner price of $10 and a wide selection of Chinese dishes plus a small American style bar and custom hibachi grill AND a sushi station. For $10!! I hate buffets and I only go if I'm really hungry and whoever I'm with either pays for it or insists upon it so for me to give a buffet 3 stars is like giving a regular restaurant 5 stars. Service is friendly and the hibachi cook can't speak a lick of English but everyone manages somehow. The price cannot be beat for the large selection and I didn't see anything particularly disgusting except for one woman who reached for some maki with her bare hands. Food is kept fresh and there are single serving ice cream cups for desert (among other things) so I was happy for the price. A must try if you're in the area, have a ravenous appetite, and don't want to spend a fortune on food.

  • Derek C.

This place was not too bad actually. Once I saw that it was $10 for dinner I was expecting the worst. The soups were actually really good and the rest of the food was pretty decent. they also had a pretty decent dessert selection along with self-scoop ice cream (altho this concerns me a bit that everyone was scooping their own ice cream and the dirtiness of it all, but I guess it is a buffet...) they also have a hibachi grill but all the cook there does is grill up your meats and veggies with some sort of butter sauce and no other options for sauces. we had shrimp on our plate and the shrimp did not come out fully cooked. The wait staff was pretty attentive to our drink needs and to clearing off our finished plates. overall, the food was ok, and for the price of $10 a person, it's really hard to beat that.

This place is a steal when you go for lunch! It's your all around typical Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet witha featured Hibachi Grill! I've never seen a Hibachi Grill in a all-you-can-eat before. The only tip I could give is to stay away from ordering a drink except water and to take advantage of the ice cream in the corner. It's kind of hidden and looks old but inside is really yummy self-scoop ice cream.

Wasn't a great place per say. It is cheap though, new interior, the sneeze guard near the sushi and the grill need to be cleaned hardcore. Service was pretty good, but 45 mins wait on a Saturday and we got split up into 2 groups of 4. They only had 3 tables that fit 8. That kinda sucked. Lunch adult 6.99 Dinner 9.59 Kids cheaper Drinks are extra 10% senior discount Salt and pepper shrimp was under cooked and not crispy fried sushi was good, the rest was meh, not any sahimi that I could tell and every time i went up i might get like 1 or 2 pieces because people were swarming it and they could not keep up. prime rib was tough and dry beef tender loin decent crab rangoon sweet and not the right taste salt and pepper calmari tough and not tasty baked egg was great and unexpected baked chicken was peanuty and good stuffed shrimp ok bbq ribs were fatty Bbq porkk not like meat places you find in china town rib eye asked for rare and it was well done they also refused to cook a thick piece we found waffle custard good ice cream smooth slow line because of self scoooping strawberry bleh pinapple cantelope and green melon was good birthdays get a flower thimng w candles

I TRIED - Make Your Own Stir Fry (4/10) - Sushi (3/10) - Chinese Food (5/10) - Soups (5/10) Reviewing a buffet is weird. There's so many places to touch on, but I guess I've already done one before for Crazy II Buffet, which this is almost an exact replica of, so I guess I'll just keep going. MAKE YOUR OWN STIR FRY Just like Crazy II Buffet, not enough stuff. I'm spoiled with Flat Top Grill, but just the vegetable choices here are so slim. The worst part of it all, is that I have no control over the sauces. The guy behind the stove does. Maybe I'm just a control freak. I'd like to say that you should pass this, but it's such a big part of the place, that you're sorta gimping your experience if you do. Blah, whatever. SUSHI I'd say that this sushi is about on par with Todai, which isn't saying alot. The choices are very slim (maybe 5-6), and no sashimi, but the only thing that's good about theirs is that they don't pack every roll in a boulder of rice. However, you know that the rice has "been around" for a while by the way it comes off. Even the "freshly made" sushi have rice that sort of falls off in hard sheets. I guess you paid for it, might as well have some. CHINESE FOOD There is nothing special about their China Buffet. Nothing. It's your run of the mill Chinese food. Orange Chicken, Kung Pao, Mongolian Beef, etc. SOUPS Egg Drop and Hot & Sour. Both are run of the mill too. Interestingly enough, they have a "Broccoli Cheese" soup, which is the first time I've ever seen that at an Asian buffet. It sort of...has no taste. It's textured like Broccoli Cheese, but tastes like...nothing. Sorta like how grits, you can vaguely get a hint of corn, you can vaguely get a hint of broccoli. Add a pinch or 2 of salt, and sort of like Grits, it goes down. At first I thought it was disgusting and put it aside, but I kept eerily spooning more and more of it, even though it was depressed sitting in the "discard pile." WELL? Considering that Super China Buffet is in our list of weekly lunch destinations, there's no reason that Hibachi Supreme Buffet can't be in it either. It's not like the food's inedible, it's just very run of the mill. If it closed down, I wouldn't cry.

Went here last night and there wasn't a wait (around 7 pm). We were directed to a table which I think if you are eating at a buffet you should be able to sit wherever you like. We were seated in a booth next to a window and we had to move because it was so cold. There was an actual breeze coming through the wall, the trim of the window was also taped with clear masking tape, perhaps to fix the cold draft? I also noticed how crammed the tables were together. If you had someone sitting behind you the actual chairs were touching one another...good luck getting up to get your food! Overall I thought the food was great for a buffet. I haven't been to a Chinese buffet in ages so I wasn't sure what to expect. They had a very large selection so you wouldn't have any problem finding something to eat. They also have a sushi station and a hibachi area. The hibachi area had a few choices of meat and shrimp, mushrooms, onions, broccoli and noodles. You didn't have a choice of any sauces but this isn't Big Bowl or Stir Crazy...if you want total customization go there. I was satisfied with the way my hibachi food turned out. They buffet area had so much food that I didn't get to try everything that I wanted to because I got super full! They also had a pretty big dessert section and ice cream station. Drinks are a separate add on to your bill and a server will get your refills for you. At the end it was unclear how you paid. The guy who was bringing drink refills/clearing tables brought us our check and took care of it. Usually at buffets your pay when you first enter. One thing that was a bit of a turn off was that there was a girl cleaning the decorative glass with windex. I am all about cleanliness, especially in a restaurant, but smelling the windex fumes while eating isn't ideal. Luckily I was pretty much done eating but there were other patrons who just started their meal. I will definitely be back though!

Yeah, this place is either way over-hyped or I went on an off night. Considering I always see a line out the door, I'm hoping for the latter. I took my son last night and we were seated without a word other than, "What to Drink?" and not informed that was extra cost to have a drink. We only ate from the buffet because the items for the grill were so unbelievably limited....I didn't see the point. The weird thing about this place is that the food looks awesome, but then you eat it and in general your first thought is, "Why does it all taste the same?" Honey Chicken General Tso's Chicken Sweet and Sour Chicken ANY CHICKEN All tasted the same. The meats - like the tenderloin, prime rib, etc. HARD AS A ROCK. I had to tip a server whom I didn't see the entire time we were there. I had an upset stomach when we left. Not a fan. Not a fan at all.

wait about 35 mins for a table on a saturday night. The food was decent. They had a large variety of food. im sad i wasnt able to try their hibachi. They did a good job of keeping trays refilled. Only concern was that a few hours later I had some stomach issues....i dont know if that was from eating too much of what. Im still undecided on this place.

Pretty extensive buffet, but the main ingredient seems to be grease. Most everything seems to be fried, and draining the food before they send it out seems not to be in the repertoire. Sushi seemed old, and not very good. The "made to order" grill will not add extra spice, such as garlic. Add the cashier making as wait nearly five minutes while she and a coworker had very detailed (apparently) conversation in Chinese while we were trying to pay our check, and well, um, no. The iced tea was pretty good, at least.

I love this place. The interior isn't that fancy or over the top. But it's clean and best suited for this kind of buffet. For the price you get a very good selection. And to top it off, ever since they opened, they have added new options in their buffet every week. (We go every Sunday) I'm always excited to see what new dish they have for surprise, but I won't mind if they didn't. Food quality is more than average. I love the hibachi rice and dragon fish. Many 'good' selections. And you can even have your own stir fried noodles by picking the ingredients you want and have the guys cook it. Dessert is also wonderful. Good selection. The ice-cream for one is not that boring soft serve. You get decent ice cream that you scoop. A lot of flavors to choose from to. And cheese cake....yum. It's simple but just think of what you paid! When we get here, it's always packed. Service from many of the waiters/waitresses them selves is very good. Good job 'Sky'. The ones in pink, (hostesses?) aren't very pleasant and could work more on their interaction skills... I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. Good price for food that's more than worth it. See you on Sunday.

Now I feel compelled to review this place even without eating here only because my father had dinner here and we are now sitting in St. Alexian bro. Emergency room with food poisoning. I at this point can just imagine that I would never eat here or let anyone I know eat here. Beware if you eat here you may just end up at your neighborhood emergency room. Just a side note. When my father told the nurse where he had dinner she said... Ah we see a lots of people come through here that have ate at that buffet.

It's nothing crazy exciting, and the sushi is sub-par. It is what you expect at a buffet; the quality isn't great, but the price is reasonable and you WILL get full eventually. The place is clean, and the "waitresses" (the ladies who take your plates away and refill your drinks) are attentive. It certainly gives the nearby New China Buffet a run for its money as that buffet does have nearly as much as the Hibachi Grill does--and I think they cost about the same.

*****ATTENTION LOCAL HEALTH DEPT. YOU GOTTA VISIT THIS PLACE. VIOLATIONS GALORE.*******If I could give negative stars I would. I don't care if someone offered me a million dollars, I would not go back to this place. This restaurant has to be one of the nastiest places I ever ate at. It is dirty outside and inside. The carpeting by our booth was smelly and black with dirt. The floors, booths, windows and mirrors are just as nasty. The food has got to be the worst food I have ever placed in my mouth. Sure it is a great price, but that does not matter if everything tastes like my shoe. I tried a little of everything to make sure that it was not just one food item that was terrible. Well, let me tell you, I could not find one edible item. I went with my husband and girlfriend and they had to politely spit out their food and push their plates away. I think with the great price the restaurant takes shortcuts because nothing tasted like it was suppose to. I will not be returning. So, unless you want to leave a restaurant hungry and feel like you have to take a bath afterward, I would not visit this establishment.

Caught myself in the area and needed to eat. Your standard China buffet. Selections large. We caught lunch dinner switch. Service is attentive. Foods average. But in some way I can't pin though, something was just slightly off about everything i had. What put me off even more was the pungent lingering chemically odor of a mix of deordorant/foot powder/air freshener.... I miss my other regulars I suppose.

Worst place to eat!!! Beware, me along with my entire family became severely I'll almost immediately after eating here. We all had a 3 day bout with food poisoning. The food was absolutely nasty. Nothing was fresh, loads of filmy stuff on dried out meat and fish. Sushi was a joke and the desserts were horrible. Even the jello had bits of hard pieces in it. How can anyone mess up jello?

  • Amy Y.

Probably one of the worst buffets I have been in a long time. The food is super greasy even by buffet standards. Sushi has a weird food coloring added to it. Don't get me wrong - I love buffets, and I understand buffet is not same as ordering food, but this is really awful. The desserts are bordering nonedible. Both roommate and I actually have some indigestion/diarreha afterwards. Do not get the seafood. I only gave it 2 stars because staff was really friendly.

  • Samantha R.

DISGUSTING! Not only the food, but the people who eat there are animals. They jump all over you when you are putting food on your plate and act like this is the last meal they will ever eat. Service sucks, too. You practically have to have a giant mound of plates on your table for them to take them away. Don't go anywhere near the sushi, either. That is nasty, too. The only thing they have going for them is that they are the only buffet near me that offers the sugar doughnuts, which are awesome. I would recommend going here if you want some serious people watching, because that is PRIME! Last night, there was a woman in Daisy Dukes, a black lace t-shirt, black wedges, and had tattoos all up and down her thighs. Not even cute/cool tattoos, tattoos of a police badge and a bat.

This is the white castle of Asian food. The food here is cheap and you get a lot of it. While the quality is not on par with other Sushi resturants the food here is still great for the price. For $10 you get all you can eat Sushi, Hibachi, buffet and dessert. The buffet here is also always quickly restocked so I can always get my favorite dishes. The Sushi here is good for the money. I really enjoy the tempora rolls. Another favorite of mine is the shreaded beef Hibachi. They actually make it spicy when I ask. The dinning room here is large but does fill up. I also always get good service here. All and all a great spot for the money.

I've gone to many Asian restaurants and buffets and this was a great disappointment. My boyfriend and I always see people coming in and out of this place with it's parking lot always full. We went in here earlier today to try it out for lunch. Sushi is horrible. It all pretty much tasted the same and was pretty dry. The sushi I buy at UIC was way better than this. The shrimp tasted pretty fishy, the clams were ok. Mostly all of the food selection was sub par. This included orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, honey chicken, prime rib, governor tso's, crab ragoons, onion rings, mac and cheese, chicken on a stick, mushrooms, etc. We tried a little bit of everything except for the pork loin (I think. . .it was by the prime rib) cuz we found a hair in it :/ . Even the desert was ehh, nothing special. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend this place? No. I'll give it one star for being only 7 bux for lunch. One star for the selection. Oh and their music selection, a backstreet boys cd playing quietly in the background. I'm sticking with TL's Four Seasons in Bartlett. Mmmmmm :D

I personally think Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet is a great deal for the price you're paying. It's not that expensive and they have options. The food isn't the best quality, but if you want decent "American Chinese" food, then this is the place to go. They serve sushi and stir fry, along with the full buffet. For the price, I don't think you can get much better than that. Here's a tip, for lunch and for dinner, show up early! At least 30 minutes before the rush hits so you can at least go around the buffet and pick up the food you want.

The China Buffet in the plaza behind Hibachi wrote 4-7 of the 1 star fake reviews here. You can tell because the reviewers have no friends, no picture, and the only reviews they wrote was a negative short sentence for Hibachi. I understand that another Chinese buffet opening right next to you might be a threat, but seems a little low to be trying to destroy the reputation of another place just because they opened up next to you. Right when Hibachi opened, the China Buffet which has never done anything different in the last 5 years all of a sudden had a $4.99 lunch special. 1. The host greeted us when we came in and said goodbye to us when we left. We were seated almost immediately when I went in on a weekday during lunchtime. the waitstaff seemed a little overwhelmed but the plates were mostly picked up quickly and the staff asked us pretty often if we needed anything. 2. the sushi selection is a little weak and was nothing too impressive in my opinion. just a few common rolls and i was a little disappointed they didn't have anything with eel as they usually have caterpillar rolls or uni q rolls at similar buffets like "crazy buffet" in elk grove. 3. the hibachi part had a selection of different vegetables and meats. It seems as if the hispanic cook is a little more experienced than the asian one. it seemed as if the hispanic cook spiced and oiled the foods by himself. with the asian guy, i noticed the customers had to tell him what they wanted on the stir fry or he would just cook it very plain. 4. the chinese food buffet area was very fresh and hot. The fried foods were crispy, the chinese food was decent, and the salad/fruit area was fresh. I think this was the best part of this buffet. they have some desserts and 8 diff types of ice cream also if you're looking for something after. 5. The price is probably the main reason I like this place and I will keep going. the price is very cheap for the amount of food and quality you get here. I mainly go during lunchtime and with tax and tip it usually is less than $10 per person to get filled up. The place is packed most of the time i've been here or passed by with a mainly hispanic and asian crowd. I just hope that the quality of the food stays as fresh as it has been for this first month.

I went to this buffet last night after hearing from a friend that they have good food. Boy was I wrong to believe that. It was grand opening weekend, the place was packed. The wait was reasonable, but the food, not so much. When I sat down, we ordered our drinks. That cost extra, not included in the buffet price. Then I went to the buffet line. I was expecting from fresh food hot food from the kitchen, when I got to the buffet line, I was disappointed. Everything was picked at and scraps were left. The so-called prime rib was cut in thick slices, it was extremely tough to eat. Along with that, the wait-staff seemed very unorganized. It took me 4 tries to ask for some knives for the tough meats. The hibachi grill is a good idea, but this place is nothing but the typical Chinese buffet. The sushi is very limited selection. With that said... unfortunately, I will not be returning to Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet after this first visit. Extremely disappointed. I do not recommend coming here. There are better Chinese buffets around town that are around the same price with better quality food.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my parents. I didn't eat here, but after what my parents told me, I felt so bad. They had one of their date nights and they decided to eat at Hibachi Grill. My parents had dragon fish salmon, sweet & sour soup, pot stickers and sushi. Maybe an hour later, they told me they felt sick and ended up being in the bathroom for the rest of the day. The problem with buffets that have sushi as one of the entrees, is a bad idea to have. Sometimes, if the who platter isn't finished, they won't replenish them right away and it could be hours. So before you want sushi...i would recommend going to a restaurant the makes fresh sushi. I'm not sure about the other entrees they had, but I am disappointed with this place and mad for making my parents sick.

A better than average selection sets this place apart from the generic Chinese Buffet, but the "Hibachi Grill" part is an odd incarnation of the usual flat-top grill section. In this palce, the cook puts the sauces on the very limited selection of veggies and meats, so seasoning it your way is hard. I skip it entirely now. The sushi selection is pretty good for a cheap buffet lunch, but the soups are awful - the "Hot and Sour" is neither. Most of the usual entrees are well executed. Lots of desert selections at lunch time. A good value for $7 at lunch, but drinks are extra and you really should tip the server.

Well...I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this modest looking establishment. Now I give it 5 stars obviously on a curve, but as far as china buffets go this one is tops for value and quality. For $9.95/ dinner and $6.95 lunch including sushi and hibachi grill this is one heck of a deal. Compared to most others they keep things fresh, so count on limited display of the popular dishes, but they are replenished often. This place also gets busy so if you come a bit early you're better set to for no delay and you're fill. Regarding some complaints.. It's a china buffet people.. That being said there was a young white hostess and a couple asians too. The hibachi and sushi chefs appeared Hispanic and were quick and friendly. Now I'm not a huge buffet fan, but I will be back for this value again.

I went there for lunch this afternoon and I was very pleasantly surprised. The buffet is extensive, with a good mix of Japanese, Chinese and American cuisine. All very fresh and hot. Food we tried was delicious. I am a vegetarian now, so I did not get to try the sushi, but it looked fresh and well presented. The sushi was in it's own section, next to the hibachi grill and attended by the chef. I was amazed it was included in the buffet, as I know how expensive going out for sushi can be. The hostess and rest of the staff were very nice, friendly and polite. They kept refilling our glasses and asking if we needed anything. Very good service. The place was impeccably clean and they had quite a few staff making sure it stayed that way. I believe they are part of a franchise and they just opened the Streamwood location (Same area as Sam's Club, next door to Applebees). The prices absolutely rocked. I paid $17 for two people including drinks. I almost got greedy and kept this little place a secret, but I guess if I wanted it to stay open, I need to share. I most definitely go back.

Absolutely terrible! The only good food there is the stir fry... Everything else just taste awful. I`ve been there 3 times and not a single trip to this place has satisfied me. Stopped going there and would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

People this place it packed because the food isn't as bad as the reviews. Very friendly attentive service. It's a great place when you have that craving but cant decide on what to eat and you're too lazy to cook a last min dinner. Expect to wait about 15 min on Fri-Sun. You can't beat the $10 dinner for all you can eat Sushi and Hibachi grill. Every time I've visited I was very satisfied with the Sushi selection. My fav besides the sushi are the Lo Mein noodles, green beans, mini clams, salt pepper shrimp, calamari, crispy wings, beef broccoli, chicken mushroom, and the grill. I'd pay the $10 just to eat the sushi!! Never noticed I was even charged for drinks. Food:4 Service:4 Value:5 Robert M. you're a Jag-bag "The staff is all of Asian-decent. They do not speak fluent English and I am struggling to understand what they are trying to say to me at times. Sometimes they would start speaking Chinese or Japanese or God-knows-what language they are speaking to me when they can't find the English words they are trying to say. This is America! Speak English for God sake." From what I remembered the host was a white blonde girl or Hispanic on another night. The Hibachi chef was Hispanic, the people who brought out food was Hispanic/Asian. Wait staff all spoke English even my almost 2 yr old understood them.

I heard good things about this place from friends and family, so we decided to try it out this week. First visit on a Wednesday night, and they had a good amount of customers in the restaurant. We were seated in the front dining area (nearest to the entrance), and we had the room pretty much all to ourselves which was nice because we had a big group. You definitely can't beat the price here. $10pp is an amazing price for the food here (they offer a Senior discount and special kids pricing too). No snow crab legs like most people look forward to at a Chinese/Asian buffet, but they did have tons of other seafood including regular crab, crawfish and a nice variety of shrimp dishes. The hibachi was good...nice variety of ingredients, and quickly prepared. They had prime rib, but it was more like a pot roast and a bit dry, but overall good. There's the usual fare you see at a buffet, and generally the taste and quality of the food here is comparable to some of our personal favorites (Crazy Buffet, Nagoya), but definitely at a better price. They also offer individualized cups of ice cream - a huge plus since the germaphobe in me gets grossed out by the self-serve vats of ice cream offered in other restaurants (where you can never be sure the person before you washed their hands before touching that ice cream scooper...which always seems to be sitting in a cup of dirty water!). All around great value and food. The place itself is okay, nothing fancy. Big dining areas, clean-enough, and the service is great. We were greeted promptly and our server was attentive and very friendly. Definitely adding it to our list of options for future Chinese buffet cravings.

My co-workers talked up this place like crazy. I've been to several different Asian lunch buffets, the best of which was in Peoria, IL. But this place is probably the most notable one in the Schaumburg area. For $6.99 (excludes tax and tip), you can do all you can eat which includes hibachi grill, lunch buffet, and sushi bar. The hibachi grill line is always fairly packed and they have lots of options from beef, pork, shrimp to vegetables and eggs. You load it up on your plate, take it to the grill, and they grill it for you. The sushi bar is next to the hibachi grill and provides low class sushi ranging from California rolls to tuna rolls to a couple other ones. The rice tastes a bit hard within the sushi and it's definitely not something I'd rave over (2 out of 5 stars) but it's nice that they have it to compliment everything else. The buffet selection is off the hook. Usually, I look for two or three dishes that are decent at a place like this. They have a good selection here which I'm impressed with. They have fried wings, buffalo wings, salted fries for an American taste. Their wings are absolutely delicious (which I was shocked by). Their Chinese food selection is decent ranging from deep fried string beans, chicken with broccoli, seafood medleys, vegetable medleys, stir fried noodles, vermicelli noodles, and tender beef. The best in my opinion is the deep fried string beans (but it's not the best I've had at a Chinese buffet). Most of the food here is slightly above average, but at $6.99 for lunch, it makes it a great value. The one downside is you can strnogly taste the MSG that is plastered all over the food. The other decent item they have is the soups. The seafood tofu soup they make is closest to authentic I've seen a place make it. Their hot and sour soup is a little bit too sour (probably just a different provincial style) and their egg drop soup is comparable to most other places. The thing that really sets this place apart is the fruit bar. They have fresh watermelon (naturally sweet), kiwi slices, among other canned fruit. Typically, you will only see canned fruit in a place like this but I was pleasantly surprised to see fresh fruit here. It was a nice way to finish off the meal. I would come here again with coworkers because of the nice value, but it's nothing I would be eager to eat for lunch. SUGGESTION: Grab a $1 coupon off their website for lunch.

Maybe I'm the only one...I really liked this buffet. We went early on Saturday and it wasn't too crowded or anything and there were 12 of us which included 5 kids. We know that kids can be picky eaters, but they got to choose what they wanted. It was very clean, there was no wait time to be seated and the trays were constantly being filled when they were close to empty. I think the Sushi should've been prepared on request instead of being prepared and sitting out; and the ice cream was very hard and it takes a technique to get it soft enough to scoop. Other than that our experience was better than when we've went to Chinese buffets. I will most definately take my family here again.

Interior is just like any other typical Asian/Chinese buffet. Environment seems clean. Staffs: Host looked like she did not enjoy work at all. Waitress (Wendy) was friendly and quick with cleaning and filling up for drink. Food: I would say that there are good enough of selections for just under $10. Foods are just decent in my point of view. Nothing really special to write about

The food isnt the greatest, but there is a good variety of fusion asian food. The sushi isnt bad, esp the fried shrimp roll. The soups are your standard, egg drop, hot sour, wonton. The also offer a "hibachi" grill, which is more like the Mongolian hot griddle. For dinner, you can get a whole small steak with it, or shrimp, pork or small slices of beef. There will be something for everybody, including pizza, bbq ribs, prime rib chunks, fries, potatoes, roast beef, salmon, mushrooms, whatever you can name. Price is about $10 for dinner, $7 for lunch. Hungry but dont know where to go? Try Hibachi Grill and eat as much or as little as you want!

This is a great buffet! Compared to your average Chinese buffet, they have way way way more of a variety to choose from. The restaurant has plenty of seating which was nice since it was dinner time and really busy when we got there but we where seated right away. The staff is very friendly and greets you when you walk in and they are very prompt with coming around to refill your drinks and take away old plates. All of the food in the Buffet area was really fresh, which at some buffets seems like it has been there all day. I would recommend this buffet over many other Chinese buffets because they have great prices and a way bigger variety than most places. They are also very clean inside. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because I got a pretty bad upset stomach afterwards, which may not necessarily be the buffets fault since I have a pretty sensitive stomach to begin with.

I went here this evening for dinner. Generally I'm buffet-averse, so i went in unsure to expect. I'll break this review down into 3 parts: the service/ the food / The "ambiance" first, i need to about the service. We were fortunate enough to get there just before the "rush" so we (2 people) were seated in 10 minutes. this was better than we expected and a pleasant way to be greeted at a new restaurant. The server came and took our drink order, and told us we coudl go up and get our food. We did, and when we came back - there were other people seated at our table! we went to the host's station and told them of the problem. they acted surprised and not quite sure what to do. they were able to find us another table within a few minutes, so we sat and began to eat. This was surely a result of being open only 3 days with an inexperienced staff, so i don't think it'll happen very often in a few more weeks. I'm not holding this against them. The food: overall, it was good. it was quite busy (see "ambiance" section below) so the trays were being rotated very often. i'm sure if it were not as busy, the food might not have seemed as hot or fresh. The sushi was quite good, the hibachi cook knew what he was doing. The ambiance: they need to rethink their traffic "flow". the entrance got very crowded very fast. the host stand couldn't keep up with them, so there were many angry people, unsure where to go. There was no order or rhyme or reason to the "flow" of the actual buffet. I felt like people were pushing me out of the way to get to the food. the floor was also uncommonly wet and slippery. I'm a pretty able bodied well-balanced person (wearing ordinary gym shoes), and i almost fell once or twice. I'll go back, but probably not if the parking lot is full.

The only reason we came here is because its cheap and we had a coupon. The customers here are rude. I feel like everytime i went to place food on my plate, a worker came over to change out the tray. UGH irritating. I like the other one in Glendale Heights. Its bigger and i believe they have more of a selection.

The food wasn't impressive. The service was alright. The environment was meh. The only good thing was the price. It was a little less than $10 a person. They have the typical selection of asian buffet food. The food tasted cheap...like leftovers from the day before =X. Nothing stood out. The Hibachi grill wasn't good. The steak was bad. There was a small selection of sushi, none of which were good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were seated right away. We went on a Sunday night. There was probably a total of 20 people there. The place was alright. It looked like an Old Country Buffet in there. Nothing great. If you want cheap asian buffet food that tastes as much as it's worth, this is the place to go.

For value, I'll give it 4 stars. The food is very average (maybe a little below) for Chinese buffet standards which knocks it down to two stars. If it wasn't for the hibachi option and sushi, probably would give it only one star. The name sake (Hibachi Grill) is really stir fry (as a previous poster noted). The final product from the hibachi is good, but the selection of vege's is minimal, although they did have shrimp as an item. The sushi roll selection was reasonable and seems fresh. Had the General's Chicken (my to go at Chinese joints) which I thought was below average compared to other General's chicken at other buffets. The egg drop and hot sour was also very watery. The ice cream looked good, but didn't have the time to try it. If your tastes buds are not picky and you want to try a variety of different items and get stuffed, you'll love the place.

my review just for the owner to improve his or her business not to against them :) 1st impression: the sign out side of the restaurant is out dated . By looking at the sign it Already tell people it is another Chinese buffet!! interior was totally Chinese style ! Overall , the restaurant is clean but the glass at hibachi so dirty !!!!!! The food : most of them are fresh . The most I love was the hibachi. Service: they are friendly . Overall, the price for the food it worths 4 stars.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews because if you go to any Chinese Buffet surely you would know that it is not the Ritz. This restaurant has far more choices to select from then your ordinary Chinese buffet. We usually try it on a Sat. for lunch because it does tend to get too crowded at dinner time. The main draw for us is the made to order items on the grill. Love the variety of noodles and the shrimp and veggies for stir fry. Quality has always been fresh. I like many of the other items on the buffet like the grilled chicken and vegetable dishes. Not crazy about their Lo Mein noodles or the chicken and broccoli because both seemed to be made with an ingredient that I don't care for in the sauce. The wait staff and greeters are all very friendly are are of mixed origin. Oriental, Caucasian and Hispanic. Very strange that someone made comment that the man behind the Hibachi station was Mexican and not Oriental. I for one don't care what the race, religion or politics anyone has that cooks my food as long as it is good. Saw on TV last night where a very high end restaurant in Chicago was closing and guess what? A man they showed doing the cooking was actually Hispanic:) This place offers a lot of variety at a very reasonable price. They are doing a good business and hope they continue to do so.

I came in here today with several people and were given our bill before we had even decided we were finished. One of my companions still wanted one more plate and the rest of us got up to get ice cream. Our waitress approached us asking if we wanted our bill to be split and we kindly told her we had planned to pay at the front. She grabbed our bill regardless and came back with the divided tab. We were given several minutes before she returned and at this point we were all getting our money out when my boyfriend decided he was paying for the two of us. He gave her the total when she looked at the bills and said "this doesn't include tip" what? I thought to myself, "is she being serious?" So after practically pushing us out the door she was DEMANDING a tip? What the hell?? You do not force a tip on a customer, it's extremely rude. She divided the tab so she can get more money out of us. My boyfriend was initially confused until she pointed it out again and that's when he understood what she was doing. She only ended up with a tip from him but my other two friends withheld their tip. I normally tip very well myself but this pissed me off too much. I'll NEVER return to this place again.

Worst experience ever. No seats in the waiting area. Waited more than 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon only to find out that they wanted to split our group of 9 and seat us in separate tables. Going there for the first time kinda sucked there is no welcoming atmosphere. We walked out. ZERO rating

This restaurant was a complete disappointment. From the reviews I expected much more. The food was sub-par and over cooked. Really who douses a perfectly good piece of salmon in a quarter inch of cheese? The sushi was non existent- only 2 rolls were out and they looked like they had been sitting for quite some time. I will definitely not be returning.

If your into eating pounds of greasy, overly fried, and double breaded mystery food...then enjoy this place. My husband and I went once, and it feels like a assembly line of eat as much as you can to get your $9.99 worth. The dinning experience felt more like a cafeteria, I'm just not a fan of eating until I'm sick to justify my dollar. The booths and tables are dirty and I'm sure lack of cleanliness doesn't stop there. The food on the buffet was all breaded, old and lamp heated. Most of the food could not be identified unless you read the labels. The sushi was just terrible, hard undercooked rice over old flavorless frozen fish. The service, well a lady sat us down and that was about all the service we received. The booths are so large in fact I had to sit at the edge just to come up to the table, I'm sure because of the scale of persons that frequent this place. I'm sorry to burst the bubble, but I can find a better way to spend my money. Too bad, I really like to support local businesses in my neighborhood

I have lost count how many times I've visited this place now. For the price you really can't beat it. $9.59 for dinner and you get a variety of dishes, fresh fruits, desserts and ice creams. It's not by any means a fancy place and it wouldn't be a place to take a date unless you don't care about impressing them. For a couple of $$'s more you can get a beverage (unlimited) of your choice. I've read some of the reviews on here and let's keep it in perspective. It's a place that more on the fast food style, nothing fancy, nothing gourmet and you get what you pay for; for the price, you can't beat it. Go you McDonald's, Wendy's, Popeye's, Burger King, Taco Bell and the other places and I can guaranty you won't get the variety you get here. There's a sushi bar and a grill where they cook your concoction for you. Again nothing fancy but for the price you can't beat it and remember again nothing fancy. I've never gotten sick there either. I'll continue going to this place. As a matter of fact I was there earlier last night.

Horrible. I've been to many Asian buffets around the Chicagoland Area, and this is by far the worst (along with some others). The food is cold and food choices are limited, and the staff is struggling to get new fresh food after they were gone. Not alot of food choices. Pricing was bad; they charge 2 bucks extra for drinks. It is always busy there, and I don't really know why people would go there because this buffet sucks. It is really tight in there. Tables to tables have a clearence about 2 feet between them- that's all. An extremely obese person would not be able to squeeze through the tables. The staff is all of Asian-decent. They do not speak fluent English and I am struggling to understand what they are trying to say to me at times. Sometimes they would start speaking Chinese or Japanese or God-knows-what language they are speaking to me when they can't find the English words they are trying to say. This is America! Speak English for God sake.

Since I went on a Thursday night, it wasn't busy. Overall, the food was okay. Stir-fry is always great. The sushi is always something to eat for a good price, plus with other things. The only problem with this restaurant is the desserts. The fruit is good and all, but the pastries... very questionable. Pudding tastes "non-chocolatey", the cheesecake isn't as great, the cream roll... ANYWAY, service was decent, seafood is always great. Honestly, I don't know what else to say. This is an average Chinese buffet, definetely better than your average OCB (Old Country Buffet)

Talk about awful! To start the host just plopped us at our table with no explanation. Half the food wasn't marked so you couldn't tell what it was. When we asked what was what for the sushi the guy just starred at us for about 30 seconds than turned to continue making whatever he was making. (frankly, I'm sure he on spoke Spanish & had no idea what he actually was making, let alone how to explain it). Than when we went to the hibachi grilling station my husband asked what the difference between the two red meats was the guy cooking the stir-fry/hibachi answered, " One is steak, one is beef." REALLY?! (I think he was sushi guy's brother). The best thing was the mango. Thank goodness Mother Nature didn't screw that up.

This would be a 3 or 4 star review if it wasn't for our service issue at the end of our meal... I dined here this evening. Food was pretty good for an Asian buffet. Some items exceeded my expectations, some didn't. I didn't try the "hibachi" but my mother in law did, she liked it but it looked just ok. Sushi was fresh and better than I've had at other buffets. My big issue came when one of the hostesses came over and said "Can I take the check for you or...." I knew exactly what she was implying but said "Oh no thanks, we will take care of it." In which she replied "Ok, its just that there is a really long line and a lot of people waiting." I was so flabbergasted by her rudeness that I didn't even know what to say! While we were talking and had finished our meals, we weren't sitting there that long after our last plate. Completely rude! I won't ever give them my money again!

I have heard of this place for a while now, after church we thought of trying it out, we went there just before lunch started so it wasn't that packed yet. 1. Good Service - As soon as we walked in we were seated immediately considering there were a few people already in line. The Waitress who was serving us was prompt it clearing the dishes and was pleasant. 2. Good Food - I have tried out a lot of buffets in the area (even the one near this buffet). These place has alot of selections (unlike the one near it). Food wasn't bland nor was it too salty. I could say that almost all the food that I've tried were delicious except the one that I got from the Hibachi Grill, The guy on the grill put too much soy sauce. Their ingredients were fresh, you could tell. Salads and Fruit bar was filled with a lot of selections. Alot of Ice cream flavors. And yes, their Gen. Tso was spicy.. 3. Fair Ambiance - The Decor was fair, Lighting was fair, but the cleanliness was as good as it gets. (Considering the establishment is a bit new) 4. Fair Price - like I said Fair Price.... BOTTOM LINE: Try it out!, I'd say this is so far the best (in terms of food quality and selection) buffet I've tried in the area. I'm thinking of going back here for my birthday.

similar to your average china buffet, but maybe slightly better. awesome prices. (you can get a POUND of sushi for $5.29). sushi could be a little better. but for the price i think its good. they have every kind of chicken (chinese style) you could want. pizza and fries for picky kiddos. yummy desserts too! and they have a ton of good ice cream.

Having noticed the signage numerous times prior to opening, my interest was peaked for this new restaurant resurrected in a space that was the previous home of several defunct restaurants. When I received a large well designed ad several days ago announcing that it was now open for business I suggested to my wife that we should try it. We arrived to a full parking lot but luckily we found a spot to park. Walking up to the front entrance was a disappointment as there was an accumulation of trash along the sidewalk and some monster weeds in the landscape beds by the front door. You would think that the management would want the entrance to be inviting not disgusting. As we proceeded into the building we could not help but notice that there was a noticeable amount of trash on the floor inside as well. We checked in with the hostess and waited only about five minutes before we were escorted to a table which had apparently just been wiped down and left wet. We hadn't even sat down yet and I mentioned to the waitress that the table was very wet hoping that she might offer to dry it off. That wasn't going to happen apparently so I grabbed some napkins and started to dry the surface myself to find that the napkins were picking up more than just clear water. My wife pointed out that her chair seat was also very wet and the floor below our table had used napkins and food scraps on it. We looked at each other and mutually decided that this was not a good beginning and we decided to leave. I know that the restaurant was extremely busy and that the employees and management probably need more experience to hopefully work out the problems but our first impression was not good. We might try again in the near future if we see some good reviews on Yelp that may indicate improvement.

Well the wait was a bit long and somewhat chaotic because people are waiting for a table, others are trying to walk out and others are walking around with plates of food, seems a little disorganized. Food was good, good selection and tasty. The sushi bar was empty everytime I saw it and the line for the grill long but worth the wait. Nice part about this place is the ice cream is actually milk based unlike other buffets. We will make another trip to this place but will probably pick a day when its not so busy.

Its nasty! The largest nastiest foods ever. My fried shrimp is raw...how can you not fry it correctly? Its the easiest thing to do!

I like this place. We go here quite often. My son loves the honey chicken, and I really like the sushi and stir fry. The price is reasonable and everything is pretty tasty. The people are very nice and we never had a problem there. It can be a nightmare on weekends with waiting for a table and a ton of people, but during the week it's low key and quiet.

my husband and I were out driving around the area and we were both really hungry and we drove past hibachi grill&Supreme Buffet and looked at each other at the same time and said well wanna try it lol. So we got there around 5:45p.m. and we were seated right away the staff was very friendly and we got our drinks right a way and we didn't have to wait to get more drinks they were punctual and always asking if we would like more soda. My husband and I had sushi and it was really good and we also went up and tried to grill and it was excellent. Some stuff there when you went up to look at the buffet you could tell it has been sitting out for a while and other stuff was fresh and looked great. Over all our experience there was great and we would definitely go back with no questions asked. So if you like sushi and other great food I would say try this place you won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't

I do agree with most of the previous reviews... Good variety of selections for a reasonable price. I have been here twice for dinner. PROS - variety is good.. quality varies from very good to "OK". Salmon was better than at most buffets - wait staff is attentive and friendly, though English is the 2nd language of a few of them - trays were brought out quick enough, when depleted CONS - And this is a big one! Manager (they said her name is Kelly) could use some customer service classes! When it is busy, they give you a number (hand written on a piece of paper cut/ripped from a full size sheet and not sequential). We were standing about 12-15 feet away and another 6 or so people were also waiting nearby. I heard her call out the number 4 a couple of times, then she called our number. We walked over and she rudely said, " I called you 4 times, you not come". maybe she called it once and we missed it, but not 4 times!. We mentioned the rudeness to the hostess when being seated. She did apologize but I got the impression that this was not the first time someone mentioned this. All in all, my wife and I (we both work in a customer service industry) were very upset with her attitude., enough so to talk to the woman on our way out. Her initial attitude was to argue with us before dismissing us with a dry "Have a good night, good bye" Some people coming into the restaurant heard the discussion and remarked that their Mother had been there and remarked that the manager was rude too. Granted, I don't go to buffets for the service.. but I shouldn't be treated like I am disturbing your day! SIDE NOTE: While at the buffet table another patron noticed a dead fly in a tray. Not a problem, I guess that could happen anywhere. The important thing is, that once my wife told an employee, they immediately removed the tray.

The young blonde girl who works as a hostess at night needs bigtime training. She certainly does not have enough training for her position which makes her look (and the place of course) unprofessional. My wife and I walked in last nite for the first time to this place. The young blonde hostess (I should ve taken her name) greeted us with a "hi" without a smile and asked us to follow her. When she brought us to a table, before we even sat, she asked us "Do you know what you want to drink?" and I replied "No, we dont know yet" and there was this awkward moment where she stared at me for literally 2-3 seconds like "how can you not know what you want to drink?".. Well, of course I do know, but it is just plain rude when you ask customers what they want to drink before you even sit them down and let them settle. Especially if they have kids. So if you are the owner or manager of this place, here me out.. YOU NEED TO TRAIN THAT YOUNG LADY because she will lose you customers. I am not saying she was completely rude and she needs to be replaced with someone else or anything. It is actually the owner or managers fault for putting her there as a hostess without proper training. Then after we settled, we had no clue where everything was. This is also very important from perspective of a first time customer. I sure could see the buffet is right in the middle of the restaurant but I think it would be a very nice customer service addition to ask each and every cuustomer "after they are settled in their seats" if they have been to Hibachi's before. And if they havent, such as ourselves, then it would be nice for the host or the hostess to briefly for about 20 seconds to tell "well here we have our salads, and soups.. This is where all the bla bla bla is, and here is where you can find bla bla bla... Enjoy your meal." Done.. 20 seconds or so.. Me and my wife were absouletly lost where to start from. We had some chicken and then we figured out where the salads were but it was to late to eat salads. Didnt know they had ice cream for kids until just moments we were about to leave. Food on the other hand was really good. You CAN NOT beat it for what you pay. Heck I paid some 23 bucks or so for my wife and kid which was absolutely more than reasonable. BBQ Chicken, Stuffed shrimp, sushi, fried rice, noodles, prime rib, egg rolls, fish, salads, deserts etc.. What the heck else would you ask for for 20 bucks. Overall the food was just a bit above mediocre and well worth it for the price. Considering the fact that we could also choose to go to Portillos right next door and there is no way we can walk out of there paying 23 dollars feeding a family of three. Overall, I see a bright future for them in town if they improve on the service part and keep the food quality the same or if not better. The only reason why I am giving this restaurant a 3 star is because of the service. Otherwise this place deserves a 4 star in my book. Not five, because the food is good but not excellent.

We went here for the first time this past Saturday. It was very busy, but there was no wait for the two of us. For the price, it's definitely worth it, but I probably wouldn't eat there too often. There's a huge selection. The food is mediocre, but for $10, what can you expect? The hibachi grill was good, but had a little more soy sauce than I like, but I got to pick what I wanted, so that was nice. The sushi was delicious! They also have a great selection for kids who might not like Chinese (pizza, mac and cheese, etc. The mac and cheese was fabulous!!) The service was excellent! My drink was always filled and the empty plates were cleared right away. Likewise, in the buffet, all the items were well stocked. I brought a coupon but didn't read it carefully as it was only valid from Monday - Thurs. But that was okay. $10 each plus $1.59 per drink... cheap meal! Especially because I can never order Chinese without spending $40! It satisfied my Chinese craving for the evening so I was happy!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
