My personal favorite slice of pizza in Palatine. I like the double dough crust, chewy and hearty. I'm a pepperoni fan, but really like the sauage here. They pile on the cheese. Great pizza and sandwich place, always good and always friendly.

In making the Palatine/NW burbs lunching tour, Tre Amici ranks as a decent pizza joint. Their quality is pretty high and the crust/dough, while a bit thick for my taste, is actually pretty tasty and I can only assume the niche they're aiming for. Nice cheese and sauce balance and overall they seem to know how to make a good pie. I think the place is carryout/delivery only?

I believe this place is take-out and delivery only but it's really great! My favorite is the stuffed pizza with green peppers. And everyone is so nice! The service is really wonderful and I've never had to wait too long for my meal. They are always very nice and get my order right every time! The menu has a lot to choose from so it's great for everyone and all the food I've had from here has been PHENOMENAL! I'm very picky when it comes to my Chicago pizzas but this place is one of my favorites!

I don't eat pizza as often as I'd like any more, but when I do, I go to Tres Amici. I love the food and I love the way the place feels like a family business.

overpriced, cocky attitudes, & I'd guess fake cheese. almost $7.00 for 2 slices..thank God for Obamacare, I'm gonna be sick.

After my pizza was delivered to me ice cold and slid the one side I called and asked to speak to a manager the manager that was there n explain to me that he wasn't working. The manager was out delivering pizzas and that he was the one that delivered my pizza. No one bothered to even contact me back. After I contacted them the next day because I never heard from anyone, I talked to the owner the owner said that there really wasn't much he could do but offer me a partial credit after I insisted something be done.

My wife and i moved to Roselle from Seattle and were very disappointed in the local pizza, not at all what we expected for the hype around "Chicago Pizza". Over all the pizza in the NW blows away the pizza in Chicagoland. With that said we finally did find a place that has very good pizza. I can tell that they use a very high quality cheese which makes the pie and there sauce and crust are also very good. This is the only place I have had in Illinois that i would put on par with what you would find in the Seattle area and we have tried just about every pizza chain in the burbs. I literally go in for slices 2-3 times a week.

Sorry guys, your pies are above average & I've been going there for years, since Wapaghetti's moved & have been justifying higher prices because of the delicious pies but getting in the $30 range for a large - 3 ing. is hard to justify,

Website menu does not list prices. 12" Thin Bacon and Garlic pizza delivered cost ... $18 +tip. Biggest gripe was that Pizza contained 1-2 strips of Bacon total and a single garlic cove. Really? Beyond Stingy and a terrible value for the cost.

...Another fine restaurant in my SIster's neighborhood... We ordered the Poppers for me, 1/2 cheese, 1/2 pepperoni thin & crispy for her kids. I don't know why but the Poppers are always better when they come from a pizza joint. The pepperoni has a kick to them but no heartburn this evening! The crust was just the way we like it and no one gets the cheese wrong. We ordered a medium. Between 2 kids and me, there are only 4 slices left! This is pretty good tasting pizza. I'm impressed. I understand why my Sister recommends this place. The kids especially love it!

Best pizza we've had since we moved here from TN. We tried pizza from 3 different places in Palatine before we came here & this is by far the best tasting pizza. We love the thin crust, it's super crunchy & delicious!!! Just tried the white pizza & it was soooo good! Really can taste the olive oil & garlic, the fresh basil on top too! Love it!

Had a delivery, which was prompt. Thin crust pizza was delivered, price was right, pizza was great!

Outstanding pizza. Great crust and they don't skimp on toppings!!! Garlic bread was a bit of a disappointment but I will let it slide since pizza did exceed my expectations.

Hello! 6 stars for their Italian Beef! Seriously wicked delicious. When I came back to visit family I needed my Beef fix and we ordered from here. Lordy, next time I will ask them to just give me a vat of the beef with the juice and gardineiras (sp?) to eat. I wonder if they can deliver to Miami?

This place is a life saver, in the winter time we hunker down to watch games and we can always count on them to deliver mighty good pizza, pasta or sandwiches. In the summer, after riding the Palatine Trail, or Deer grove, nothing hits the spot more than a large peperoni pizza and a six pack of beer. Spring and fall, are just as good ! A place for all seasons, Tre Amici is your friend in the Northwest Suburbs.

I had Tre Amici's thin crust for the first time the other day and I was pretty impressed. Not a whole lot of thin crust stands out for me, but this place is tops. I saw that someone commented about the sauce at being "bland" and I have to disagree. I was actually a little surprised at how good I thought it was. It's not your typical pizza sauce, to be sure. It has almost more of a pasta sauce taste, but I really liked it. Their crust is thin and perfectly crisp. And the other thing I liked a lot was that I could taste traces of basil in the pizza (maybe in the sauce?) The sausage and mushrooms were lovely and more flavorful than I've had anywhere else. As far as thin crust goes, this place has definitely jumped to the top of my list. It actually might be the best thin crust I've ever had. Can't wait to try some of their specialty pizzas.

Tre Amici has the best thin crust pizza in town, the exact right amount of cheese, for my taste, and a crispy crust. For Chicago style, go to Lou Malnati's or Gino's East, but for thin crust, this place is it.

My three friends, I would totally give you 5 stars if you didn't charge extra cheese as a double ingredient. This is my only complaint about you. By all means, charge it as an extra ingredient, but really? An extra-double-ingredient-cheese-charge is excessive to me. Other than that, I've been ordering from them for years now (so obviously they are that good or else I wouldn't order just on the point above alone). Their pizza has an almost perfect thin crust that's not too doughy but doesn't taste like cardboard either. They've got great sauce that is at a perfect ratio to the cheese and toppings. It's just greasy enough without being too greasy where you have to soak it up with a napkin. I've never had a bad pizza from here. The delivery is super-fast and the pizza is nice and hot, which is always a plus in my book. If you like spinach on your pizza, you'll love theirs. Yes, another double ingredient charge, but this time it is understandable and totally worth it (I am not an unreasonable woman). You see, it has somehow been sauted or otherwise infused with garlic. So as much as I resent certain excessive-cheese-charges, they will always have me at garlicky spinach. Just amazing.

The saddest thing about me moving from Palatine to McHenry may be that I rarely ever get to eat this delicious pizza nowadays. Great service, friendly people, excellent food. I mean all of it. Some pizza places you wanna stay away from the wings and other such things. Not the case here. Their wings are fantastic. The Bruschetta is also really fresh and delicious. Can't say enough about this little slive of greatness.

We have used Tre Amici in the past for work events in our department and today we catered a baby shower for a co-worker and I just wanted to leave a review saying that the food was delicious, arrived on time, and we got everything that we ordered the way it was promised. Not to mention Arthur was accommodating and very thorough. We saved the menu and will be calling them again in the future. They really set the bar for customer service with me. Thanks!

First time trying Tri Amici and used their delivery option. Ordered their cheesy beef pizza. It arrived hot which was nice. But the pizza itself was not very good. The crust was doughy not crisp like you expect for a thin crust. Also both myself and wife had upset stomachs within 30 minutes of eating it. Although this was the first time ordering from here, it will be the last.

Tre Amici is close to my heart. Well, it's also close to my house. Well, it's also in the same location I worked in high school, when it was a difference pizza joint. See what I mean? Close to my heart. Exactly. The pizza by the slice is still around, and it's still fantastic. I've since moved to Dallas, where pizza isn't anywhere near the caliber of Chicago, and upon returning to visit, I stopped in to say hello. I bought two slices to go and they remembered me! They have excellent pasta and salads (their antipasto salad is still one of my all-time favorites) too. My family likes the baked ziti and I love the mostaccioli. I think it's the sauce that does it for me here. Other places just don't have it. Super friendly, fast delivery, and excellent food. If you're looking for something more than carry out, you can check out their restaurant location in Elk Grove off Nerge and Meacham.

Loved the "Chicago Style" pizza. The buttery crust is awesome. Add some Meatballs and Mushrooms and what a meal! Try it out. You won't go wrong.

Hands down the best thin crust pizza in both Schaumburg and Palatine areas. Our favorites are the extra thin crust mushroom or sausage mushroom. Crispy thin crust, perfect amount of cheese and always tasty and fresh ingredients. Definitely worth a visit!

I am normally a fan of Tre's but I have to say lately I dont know if it's just been bad timing or what, but they have had horrible service and just ok food. Everytime I call in an order its like I am talking to someone in jail. They sound like they hate their job! I dont expect overly friendly service, but come on! Dont act like I am bothering you when I place my order! I always get the anti pasto salad...one of the best salads I have ever had! Some days its that great, but now as of late they have been skimmping on the stuff that makes this salad! Ive noticed this with other things as well...I know times have been tough lately, but cutting back like that will only make it worse. I hope the help gets better and the food can stay consistantly yummy because I do like this place a lot!

We have been ordering from here since before they changed their name, and I can say not much has changed but the name(s). We really love their pizza, but they also have other good food. Their Grinder (whatever it's called now) is great. I would say we order from here at least 2-3 times a month and have never been disappointed. It is great to have such a good establishment close by, somewhere you can count on consistency and customer appreciation!

O-M-G on their thin crust pizza! I had their veg out pizza with spinach, mushrooms and green peppers and this is definitely the very best thin crust pizza I have had in the suburbs and possibly in my lifetime and that's saying a lot because I have consumed from many different pizza places on a quest to find the best. I have definitely found the best thin crust and I would imagine that their other pizzas are just as fantastic. Crust was perfect and sauce had just the right amount of spice and flavor. I've tried the other highly rated pizzas in the area and NONE compare to Tre Amici! Thank you to the others who rated this highly which is what enticed me to try it. I hope others will now try it too.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
