As others have said, this location is relatively inconsistent. Sometimes very spicy, sometimes sort of bland. Sometimes very crispy, sometimes only slightly. But since the local Browns and KFC closed, there are fewer choices of fried chicken places around so this isn't a bad choice if that's what you're looking for.

People were friendly in the place. Was were able to substitute our Breasts for Wings. Ordered a 10 pc. mixed meal. The owner is always nice.

Typical fast food. My chicken was made fresh, though most likely because I ordered spicy tenders. Nice crew, but far from motivated. Didn't seem to be any management today.

Count your chickens before going home. This place seems notorious for "forgetting" chickens. Ordered 8 pieces from drive thru. After getting home only saw 7 and when I called they had a whole standard procedure for dealing with these issues. The remedy is either I go back for it, go there some other time for a single piece of chicken or just cut my loses.

Not the greatest location. Tend to make my tenders soggy in some spots of the chicken tenders. 1 out of 3 times its perfectly cooked. 2 out of 3 theres a soggy spot. I dont know if its the cook that day or their oil not being correct temperature.

Do not think that because this has a drive-thru that it is a place to stop at - even if you are in a rush, it is not recommended. First, the staff is rude and curt to the point of starting an argument when you order. Second, the chicken is generally poorly prepared and made. Yes, this is a fast-food joint and you can't expect everything from it but do NOT go there - if you have a taste for it there is a better Popeyes on Dundee Road just East of Arlington Heights Road. Go there and avoid this place like the plague!

Major inconsistency with food AND service. Sometimes they are nice, sometimes they are "yeah yeah yeah, get your order done and pay". Big typical middle eastern flair for ripping ppl off. The Popeye's on Dundee in BG is worth the drive. Go to this one in Palatine, ask for one measly packet of honey for your biscuit and get charged $.85 Never again!!!

I'm not a type of person to make a review, but this made me have to do it! I came late at night near closing, no greetings, thats fine im not expecting any, but as a first timer, not knowing how everything is i ask questions, i asked if i can have just breast and or thigh that old Indian guy said its 90 cents per piece, and i immediately said juat give me the regular ones, when i got my order i asked if they have gravy, he said yes, i said if they charge for it too and this old indian guy with a tone told me "no ones charging for it anywhere?" i was like what?? its just that he could have told me that in a better way not being sarcastic as he obviously is, i don't care what you say, this branch has bad customer service! never coming back in here again, you can keep your gravy.

I often go to POPEYES, but this is my first time visit POPEYES in Palatine, and I am really disappointed by the server. First of all, he didn't have patient when he was taking my order, I asked him about my options of side dish and he asked me to look at the board. And in the end, my order was incorrect. He ordered 3 extra side dish for me. Moreover, when I asked him about promotion, he didn't explain to me. I really hope the manager can look into this issue, because I don't think this situation only happen to me.

i come to this popeyes frequently and last night i went there to get some chicken. i had a coupon for the wednesday deal 8pc for $5.99. i gave the coupon to the lady, and she told me that i couldn't use the coupon and tried giving me a different coupon that was the same exact thing, but for $8.99.. (i used a coupon once before quite similar from an ad in the newspaper) and told me that i couldn't use it at this location, which is fine by me except a few weeks ago i had used a coupon just like the other one.. only this time i couldn't use it. was pretty bummed that i couldn't get what i was looking forward to getting. so i got the dip n chicken instead because i wasn't going to pay $9.00 for chicken i could have gotten for $5.99. oh well. overall, they have good chicken and you get what you pay for.. so i am A-OK with this place and location.. oh ya, one more thing, don't special order honey for your biscuits because i heard they charge you for it.. kind of a scam if ya ask me. maybe i should try the dundee rd location -heard they don't charge you for honey there.

It is a fast food joint, not much to expect in quality of food, the quality sometimes is horrible and other times is good. It is not exactly wheelchair accessible due to the unusually designed foyer. The restaurant staff are very nice. The drive thru is completed, however it is difficult to access with large vehicles such as ambulances and wheelchair vans. Major finagling is needed to get through the oddly made entrance. Best enter through the EXIT on Lincoln if you are a large vehicle. Once in the drive thru area it is pretty easy. Prices since the drive thru went in appear to have increased slightly. This may be slightly limiting.
