So you've got that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle craving for some pizza. This place will satisfy that need and you can have a beer to wash it down. I've had a few different types of their pizza and have enjoyed them all. They have a good selection of beer on tap and my go to here is Revolution's Anti-Hero. The pizza has always tasted fresh and delicious. Embrace the inner Ninja Turtle at Old Oak!

Everyday Special: $2.50 pints! Woot! We come here as a social gathering with Team Read White and Blue for some drinks and delicious pizza retoxing after our group fitness activity. It's a pretty schweet bar. You've got delish pizza, sports on several TVs, drinks, and camaraderie...What more could you want from a local bar? The staff is friendly, and it's a great meet up spot to hang out with some friends. If you're in the area and are lookin' for place to go out and chillax with some friends, maybe catch a game, pop in here for a good time. Good grub, no complaints, give them a shot! :)

Came in at 11:30 wanted a bite to eat. They told me the kitchen was closed. Really?!? At 11:30. Will think twice next time.

This place is in a blah strip mall - yet... great pizza. You order at the pizza counter and pick up when ready. There's a big bar in the middle of the place. And sports on the TVs around. Casual atmosphere. Food is really good. They could cater to a different audience and do just as well. I have 2 kids - 18 and 12. I know some of the Palatine H.S. crowd comes here. Works fine. If you're just looking for some good pizza and don't want a big dress-up affair, you can't do better...

Hard not to judge this book by its cover. So dark and dirty inside that I won't be back. Pizza was good, but it would have to be legendary to get me to go back.

Would love to give this local establishment 5Stars, but they really need to close for two days and sanitize the place. Food is good, not wait staff- you order at the bar, which is fine. Bartenders are always good for a story and a nice cold one. But the place needs a deep cleaning. Layers of dust are caked on the ceiling fans and ceiling tiles. We hosted a party here and the staff seemed overwhelmed and our guests comented on the filth in the bar. It really is too bad because the owners are a local family and we love to go here, but we just can't return until they clean the place up. Truly the best pizza in Palatine- if they could just learn to dust!

A hidden gem on the outskirts of Palatine. They have several uniqe pizzas they make here that you don't see everywhere. They have a full bar, some TVs and its a great place to grab a pizza and few beers. I was alerted to this place by a local and I was very impressed. Its definitely a nice find.

one of the best thin crust pizzas, in my humble opinion.... my favorite is always sausage, green pepper and onion, but depending on who Im with, we usually order different combos... they have yet to dissapoint. they always pile on enough toppings without making the pizza soggy... and the curst is always crispy. as for the atmosphere, its got that cozy hole-in-the-wall type feel... yess there is a bar centered in the place, but it doesnt ever seem to get too roudy... patrons are usually a mix of college kids and middle-agers, but all seem to blend nicely... and they have PLENTY of tv's to watch the game on... no need to dress up to come here... it aint the classiest of joints, but the staff is always friendly and its a very comfortable place to be with awesome pizza and amazingly cold beer! :)

I don't usually give negative ratings for places, but I had to speak up for this "restaurant". A couple of my friends and I went here on a Sunday night because we had a coupon. Right away, instead of being greeted by a hostess or server, we were instead greeted by drunk women. After determining that it is a "seat yourself" place, we found a table away from the drunks. We determined what to order, and then waited for something to happen, but nothing did happen. So we then figured we had to go up to the take-out counter to order. We did, and then we went to the bar to get our sodas, served in plastic cups. We ordered a pan pizza, which was the sloppiest mess of cheese and sauce I have ever seen. The taste was okay at least. But again, some real plates and silverware would have been nice. We were almost ready to leave, when one of the drunk women from the bar came over to our table and started hitting on us. Her friend finally came over and asked us "Is my friend offending you?" She then immediately asked her "Do you want another beer?" So she brought the already drunk woman another beer. Meanwhile, neither the bartender nor any of the staff at the order counter seemed to care about this. I often feel sorry for independent places like this because chains put them out of business. But this restaurant is a prime example of WHY chains put them out of business. Suffice to say, we will not be returning here.
