I like to come here for lunch when I need some quiet time away from the office - there is rarely more than a couple customers in at lunch time. Good service, good bagels, sandwiches are OK.

These are some of the best bagels to be found! Because of their proximity to the high school there are times when it is awfully crowded and the wait is long, but if you can let the rush die down the service is a lot quicker...they are still worth the wait. I haven't tried and bagel combo sandwiches, since I pick up my own smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, onion, etc and build my own...a bit more trouble but a lot cheaper. The bagels alone are a great deal but the sandwiches I find a bit pricey. If you love bagels you won't be disappointed. They also have muffins and cinnamon buns and it smells glorious when you enter. Service is friendly. I can't vouch for coffee, muffins, etc cause I only go for the uber fresh bagels.

It was Okay. I had the chicken bagel sandwich and a double chocolate muffin....sandwich was blah - bagel part was good though! The muffin was dry and bland. Next time I come here I'll just get a toasted bagel and cream cheese!

Great family owned business. Affordable, fresh, fast, friendly. My wife loves the onion bagel. I asked for lox on a mini bagel and they made up a price for me. How cool is that? Muffins are very good. I would like to see the peach more often. They need to train staff on making a better espresso but nobody's perfect :)

Quick, easy, cheap breakfast from a friendly family-run business. The family who owns this place are kind, and obviously a part of community around them. We can feed a family of 4 for $25 and that includes bagels, muffins, juices, and coffees -- oh and bagel bone for the dog! Support this small business!

I had about an hour to kill between meetings, so instead of going home I thought I'd grab some breakfast. I live nearby, so I'm actually surprised it's taken me this long to check out Big Apple Bagel. In general, I honestly try and avoid bagels. Lotta carbs, not a lotta nutritional value. But hey, sometimes you just say yes. I tried to still make a healthier decision amongst what was offered though, which was really hard with all the available muffins and deliciously flavored bagels. Luckily there was a huge picture on their menu of the start fresh sandwich that caught my eye. Egg whites, turkey sausage, tomato and provolone on your choice of bagel (I went with 8-grain). To top off my order I of course needed my morning caffeine fix, so I chose an iced coffee. Despite there only being two of us in the restaurant, it actually took a good few minutes to whip up my order. Luckily I'm a pretty patient gal. Here's the breakdown of my experience... Start fresh sandwich: bagel was alright (nothing special), the turkey sausage, tomato and provolone were on point (great combo), and the egg whites were fluffy and huge! This was definitely a big sandwich. Normally I wouldn't complain, but the size of those egg whites plus the extras all on a thick bagel made this extremely filling and difficult to eat. I powered through half of my sammie and ended up taking off the egg for the second half. Too much for me first thing in the morning. Iced coffee: Tasted great! The man who took my order asked if I wanted cream and sugar and I said yes. I was surprised to see him come around the counter, walk over to the coffee station and concoct my iced coffee. I kind of felt bad, like... Should I be doing this myself? Regardless I was appreciative and luckily the coffee-sugar-cream ratio was spot on. My only complaint, and this is a personal preference, is that I hate when restaurants or cafes give you iced coffee in one of those cups that has a bubbled lid (like for a frapaccino). Not necessary and honestly it causes some unwanted beverage spillage. Decent experience overall. If I'm ever hankering for a bagel I'll probably be back. Bonus: they have doggie bagel bones for sale at the counter! You better believe I brought one home for Stella.

Great place, but make sure you come hungry! Their sandwiches are very filling! I've had BAB bookmarked forever, and I'm glad that I was finally able to check it out. I opted for the Roma Italian (w/no tomato) on an Asiago bagel. The girl who made my order was very friendly and provided me a paper menu, as my blind ass couldn't read the menu board (and I was too lazy to fetch my glasses from my car). I received my order promptly and was pleased with the sandwich overall, but I couldn't detect the salami. I feel that there was a bit too much ham, but it was still a delicious option that satisfied my empty stomach. The place was quiet and clean for a late Saturday morning, which allowed me to eat in peace. I look forward to future visits here to try some of their other menu items.

Good bagels. Different varieties. Muffins are good, and so are the bagel sandwiches. The owners work there and are very nice and everyone knows everybody there. I enjoy eating there.

Freshly made. Family-owned spot. Very close to our home. My husband goes here to pick up lunch for us or himself at least 3 times a week. They remember him and his order and are always very friendly to him and my family. Great place for a quick lunch/work lunch.

I love this place! My boyfriend and I go here almost every morning to enjoy our early morning. I enjoy the world's best coffee and he enjoys a breakfast sandwich and coffee as well. (I would eat the breakfast sandwich's, however, I have been eating paleo for the past 4 months.) I have had there bagels in that past and they are great! So great, in fact that we walked there had a bagel each of us togo, and then walked back for another! Occasionally, we will stop in for Darrell's lunch, and he gets a deli sandwich on a bagel from there and he loves them. I believe the prices are pretty decent here. Compared to Dunkin' Donuts, which we all know they can be very inconsistent, the food is much more fresh. They generally get pretty busy in the early morning with the high school across the street, but be patient and wait because they are pretty fast with just the two of them! The employees here are so sweet and generous. It is family owned, and that is exactly the atmosphere that you are welcomed with when you come in. There are a few more regulars who we say hello too and make jokes to. Really just a great place to enjoy a little something and soak up the warm happy vibes everyone is passing out. Definitely recommend anybody to stop in here for coffee on your way to work, and not the overpriced, sugar saturated coffee across the street at Starbucks.

Nothing spectacular about this place, the muffins are good, bagels are good but really don't go out of your way to get here because they have the same stuff as any other chain bagel shop. I did get a bagel bone for my dog so that was nice. Coffee was just ok...

The bagel-wiches here are fantastic! My favorite is the lox on an asiago bagel with veggie cream cheese, it will take you on a trip to awesome town! The prices can get a little steep, but I don't mind paying for something that I like. The owners are pretty nice people and the high schoolers and young professionals like to hang out and use the wi-fi. All in all, it's a pretty awesome place to have a quick bite and hang out.
