This place is awesome! The food is always hot and fresh!
LJS is the bomb. My go to place during lent. I try and avoid it normally because it's probably crazy unhealthy, but it's so good! Fried fish with malt vinegar is the best. Got the friend shrimp to since it's in the number 1 combo and those were actually really good too. Kind of sucks that they got rid of the dollar/cheap menu. Fish tacos are now like 2 for 5 bucks. They also got rid of lobster bites a while back I guess which sucks cause those were delicious. This LJS in general always has a great staff. Been going here for the past 2 years and I always get a nice and friendly staff. Always going around and asking if the customers need anything and sometimes they'll get you refills or throw away your garbage. Great job!
As much as I want to say I am a healthy eater, I am human and indulge in some good old deep-fried goodness from time to time. This place really hit it for me the other night as I was craving some fish. Fish, fries, hush puppies and slaw. Throw in some malt vinegar and tartar sauce and you got yourself a great (albeit unhealthy) meal. They screwed up my order and gave me the fish only the first time, then added all the sides. No big, but it was annoying for about 4.23 seconds.

Two Brother's Roundhouse in general is an awesome place, but this review is for the Coffee House section. I frequent this location on a regular basis because I work from home and it's a great getaway for a few hours, along with the opportunity to have a delicious cup of coffee or tea to help pass the time. The vibe is awesome and all of the baristas/staff are really nice and accommodating. They've always been happy to answer any questions I have about the menu or suggest a drink if I'm looking to try something new. There are plenty of tables to sit at, though only a few have access to an electrical outlet, so I suggest making sure your devices are charged before planning on staying awhile, or visiting in the afternoon before it gets crowded. Weekends are definitely busier, during the week is never really an issue for me. Plenty of pastries to choose from that complement the coffees, as well as sandwiches and soups for a quick lunch. Although this is the coffee portion of the restaurant, they do have taps at the coffee bar if you're wanting a great brew instead of coffee, but don't want to sit at the regular bar. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better coffee shop in the burbs.
I've been going here for a little over a year, probably stopping in once or twice a week. This is the coffee shop that actually turned me on to pour-overs and single origin beans. I really can't give this place enough praise. The people who work here are nice, knowledgeable, and inviting. I've visited a few other coffee shops in the area but none of them hold a candle to Two Brothers.
Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised when I came into this cafe. When I found Two Brothers on yelp I did not realize it was also a brewery. Before walking in I decided to call and double check. The person who guided me was very nice and sounded like she gets this question often. When I walked in, the place was huge and had a great fireplace giving a homelike feel. I walked towards left where the cafe was. There they had the brewery in a glass casing for everyone to see. It was really neat! When I ordered a mocha, I was very excited to hear they had almond milk!!! The coffee was 200x better than what you get commercially!! As I sat down with my coffee and cracked opened my books, I realized that many people who walked on were waiting for or just got off the train. I thought that's a cool way to get people going and meet different individuals. If you like people watching INDOORS, this might be your spot. When I packed my belongings and head for the bathroom, I also noticed they had flyers for live music performances on Fridays and Saturdays! This place cannot get anymore cooler than that! If you want food, coffee, music, good people.. This is the place to be! I cannot wait to come back for another drink.. Maybe next time it will be a local brew!!!

In my quest for great taco joints, I think I found a gem. I traveled down to Aurora to see what the Pastor was all about. I ended up ordering a Pastor dinner plate. A BIG portion of Pastor, Rice, Beans, Lettuce, Tomatoes with corn tortillas. I consider myself a big eater and I had a hard time finishing everything. I have to say it was the best Pastor I've had to date. It was my first time having pastor that was cooked on a spit like gyros are cooked. Completely different favor and I like it. Another first was a thousand island type of sauce that was on the lettuce and tomatoes, wasn't sure at first but I ended up liking that as well. I'm anxious to go back and order the Pastor nachos. I'll go back. As others have mentioned, you might not want to be cruising around late at night, not that I encountered anyone unfavorable. Just be aware of your surroundings and you'll be fine.
I'm never coming back, I was highly disappointed! I'm a big supporter of local business, especially if it's downtown, but this is a sad effort at being a restaurant. One night I was craving tacos so me and my brother went out for one, but instead of going to our usual spot I wanted to try this hole in the wall we seen a while back. I ordered a burrito de asada and a taco de tripas, but the cook said they were out of tripas, my brother ordered a torta de asada. It was a bit on the pricey side, but I thought it was gonna be worth it. So we get home, bag is feeling heavy and we're excited to dig in. We take our food out the bag and the bag has big grease spots and the food wrapper was full of grease, no biggie, doesn't kill our appetite too bad. We open the wrapper, I pick up my burrito and half the burrito tortilla is orange from all the grease and in the wrapper is a huge puddle of grease, at this point I'm scared and hoping I don't get sick or get heart burn. I start eating, my brothers eating, I'm not enjoying it but still trying to think what I think about it. I get about half way when I lose my appetite and think, this doesn't taste normal, something tastes over seasoned and I can't tell whether it's the beans or the meat. I pick up a piece of meat, and what do you know? It's that fake taco bell meat!! It crumbles in my fingers! My brother noticed it too and was just as disappointed. Look a little closer for the cheese because I didn't see it, instead of using traditional Mexican cheese they use yellow american cheese!!! I was disgusted! Worst experience ever and next time I'm looking for some late night eats, this will not be on my list!
Still the best chicken taco and al pastor taco in the western suburbs!

Terrific donuts and coffee.
Well-known for their cinnamon rolls, and I must agree with the hype. There's a restaurant too, but I'm not nuts for it. The baked goods, however, are nicely done, especially with coffee (so I'm told - I've had two cups of coffee my entire life - wasn't impressed).
My husband and I love this place for the prime rib. The salad bar is a great start. Their baked goods are also outstanding and the price is very reasonable.

To the lady who decided it was a good idea to talk on speaker phone in the middle of the restaurant (not to mention your annoying ass cartoon ringtones)... Fuck you! You get 1 star. Grow up and learn common social etiquette. As far as the restaurant goes: great food at a great price, wonderful service, and good ambience. I will return :)
The food here is really good! I've tried the pancakes and they are delicious! Tried the chicken parmesan, chicken Alfredo and all is good. Platters are huge so I usually end up taking half home. A good breakfast place
The best pancakes in Aurora, light and fluffy. The service is super friendly. This is our spot for pancakes.
