New York Burrito Menu

In my opinion, best food in town. I really like walking into a place, eating, then not feeling like the fat American I am when leaving. Only thing they can do better is make the place look modern, the cartoons on the wall are a little cheese. But I guess this is Idaho and I'm being a snobby SF/Bay Area past resident. Go there, it's good!!

Pretty good burritos a little bit pricy for what you get but overall not a bad place.

The food here is fresh, plentiful, and cheap. The $10 date deal gets you 2 wraps, 2 drinks, and 2 sides. My only gripe is that there is usually only one person working and it takes a long time for four people to order food.

I hated this place. I had the BBQ chicken wrap and the tortilla was soggy, the lettuce was soggy, the whole thing was soggy. It fell apart and was a big soppy mess. I was so disappointed. My husband went a different time and hated it just as much. He didn't even finish his food which is unheard of.

We came because of the good reviews but I was very disappointed. We got the Cajun chicken and I was very excited but what I got in my burrito was some chicken with a sprinkling of Cajun seasoning. I was anticipating chicken actually cooked in Cajun. I put Spanish rice in it and both types of beans. The rice had no flavor and even tasted a little dirty. The chicken had absolutely no flavor. I ate about half, took it home and dumped hot sauce and seasoning on it. Still couldn't salvage it. I would say that the guy working seemed friendly, but while we were eating a family came in and looked at the menu and then walked out. After they left he spoke to us about how glad he was they left because he hates serving families and that kids whine and complain. Will not be coming back. On the bright side, the brownie was really good.

I really like this place! One of my favorites in town. They are more like wraps, but I do actually enjoy this since it seems to mean that there are more fillings and ingredients! I love how many choices there are, and the price is great - my order total is hardly above $4, and the burritos are a very generous size and you get free chips and salsa. As another reviewer mentioned, the staff is super accommodating, which I love since when I get asked questions like, "black or pinto beans?" my answer is almost always "a little of both!" Another plus - (and don't discount my review because of this) they have vegetarian options! They are delicious and aren't at all anemic in their meatless state. Obviously, even if they didn't have specifically vegetarian choices, it would be simple enough to order something without the meat, but since they offer it separately, it is cheaper and has more options, and I feel loved in a place that usually looks at me funny if I even just order a quesadilla without chicken.

Two days ago they had a special of a garlic-pepper beef smothered burrito. I got all the fixings with Spanish rice, black beans, and sour cream. It was ABSOLUTELY fantastic! The kid who was working, Jacob, is an absolute pleasure to be around, makes everyone feel welcome. If I ever end up back in Rexburg I know that's the place I'll be eating at.

Gah...do not get their beans in your wrap! They are flavorless and terrible. I can see dieting coeds liking it, but other then that, this is a trend that has ended everywhere but here. I feel bad for the owners...very nice, but stuck with a gimmick that won't survive much longer.

This place is a great deal on simple but fresh and tasty food. My favorite part was the tortilla -- they have SEVEN different flavor a of tortillas! I got the tomato basil and my husband got the garlic herb, they were both delicious! (other flavor are: wheat, spinach, flour, chipotle, jalapeño, cheese) p.s. The $10 date night deal is bomb! 2 wraps, 2 drinks, & 2 sides for $10

My sister and I always do the $10 date deal. That cannot be beat. The food is really great, and they are willing to substitute a lot of things. I definitely enjoy the Thai wrap and my sister loves the beef smothered one-loaded. They also have apple beer, which is great and hard to find usually.

These guys make good food. For being a chain, I was impressed. It was my first time eating at any NYB and I really liked what I ordered. They are the only place in town that serves Bundaberg ginger beer so I'd go back just for that. BEST DRANK EVER. My only complaint is it seems a little pricey for what you get. I mean the place isnt expensive by any means but I would've expected it to be cheaper than what it was.

You could say it's a little more "New York" than "burrito." While they call 'em "burritos," they more closely resemble traditional wraps. You can get a Mexican style taco or a smothered burrito if you want, but their unique niche is they sell a wide variety wraps with a vast array of fillings. The Cajun Chicken, Thai Peanut, and BBQ Beef Brisket are favorites. You get to choose from 7 or 8 flavored wraps--the jalapeño and tomato/basil are really good. You can choose between black or pinto beans, white or spanish rice, and a typical variety of veggies. Every meal comes with chips and salsa. The nice thing is that almost every wrap is under $5.50. Located in one of the best locations in town, New York Burrito somehow flies under the radar. I'm not sure why because it's a pretty good little place with very reasonable prices. This place is probably worthy of 3.5 stars, but I'll give it a full 4 because when I asked the girl making my Cajun Chicken wrap to make it hot . . . she really did . . . which is nice.

Decent place for a lunch. The burritos aren't too good but all the specialty wraps are good and are fairly priced.

This place blows! The people working were rude and did an awful job preparing our food. Two thumbs down, 0 out of 10.
