It's a real winery but you wont find the vineyard out back. They make all the wines there in the back (make sure to sweet talk the owner Jeremy into a tour) and they bottle, label and ship from there. Huge selection of wines across the board and flights are the best way to get a taste of them all! Plus, if you like Mead- then you found your new home. Wine not your thing- then turn to the huge selection of beer and let them open it for you and enjoy it with a cold glass on the patio! Don't forget to order the cheese plate, because its Cougar Gold Cheese from WSU (just across the state line-also local) and you wont regret it. Bring the kiddos in! Totally fine for them to hang out in there.
Stopped in while visiting Moscow and had a great time! We sampled a bunch of wine for super cheap, chatted with the owner for a while, I could bring my kid in with me (can't do that in Utah!), got some tasty wine AND interesting beer to take home with me. I LOVED the spiced wine and brought some home to have at Thanksgiving. Also, get the banana bread beer.. holy cow that is good beer!
We love Camas Prairie Winery! We just moved to California and will be having a case sent down soon! Their spiced wine is a hit in our family for the holidays!

This is my first choice for a burger in Moscow and Pullman. Prices are reasonable and they have Rogue Dead Guy Ale on tap (I hope that never changes). The only downside is that you have to go sans-Dead Guy if the weather is nice and you want to sit outside.
After seeing the cool atmosphere of this place after multiple times of walking by, we finally decided to give it a try and were blown away. This is now our go-to place for burger and fry fare. I ordered the Vandal burger and my husband had the Irish corned beef wrap. Both were so tasty! The burger was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of deliciously spicy Vandal sauce. The fries came in a very generous portion and were so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The wrap was huge and very tasty with blue cheese, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, parmesan pepper sauce (YUM), and of course a generous portion of corned beef. The flavors worked so well together! We did order the bacon-topped chili cheese fries for an appetizer and cleaned the plate (literally) within a few minutes! Again, very generous portion. The prices are comparable to Applebee's, and the food is about a thousand times better. You can taste the love and quality in the food!
I don't even know where to start! This place is so good. Their Double Downer Burger might be the best Burger I've had and I've had some pretty good, this blew them out of the water. It's not greasy at all which is amazing! Their fries are amazing! My friends and myself consider our selves fry connoisseur and we agree they are great.

Rosauers

Reviews:
When I was going to the U of I, Rosauers, there were basically three grocery options in town: Tidyman's (their then-new store now sadly sitting vacant), Safeway (who I have always mistrusted for some inexplicable reason), and the slightly lower rent Rosauers, which just happened to be the closest grocery store to three of the places I lived in Moscow, so it easily became my grocery of choice. While back in the area over the holidays, I dropped into Rosauers to pick up some things for dinner and was very happy to find that they hadn't just stayed the same, but had actually improved over what was already a solid operation. The store isn't just well-lit, but it has a pleasant warmth that is rather soothing. The aisles are wide and well-organized, and their natural food section is very strong for a locally-owned small town store. They have a proper butcher/deli counter, and wonderful aromas emanating from their bakery permeate the store earlier in the day when they're turning out their renowned donuts. The staff are friendly and accessible, and they have "family friendly" checkout lanes, free of the usual point of sale tabloids and candy. These days, a slightly more cost effective option is WinCo out at the Palouse Mall, and Safeway continues to lurk suspiciously out at the other mall, but Rosauers is still the best game in town.
I think the tag line could be: Rosauers - it's not WinCo. I lived nearby and shopped here often. What I liked most is that it wasn't full of screaming children or hoards of college students. The produce was well stocked and had some exotic items now and then. Actually most items are very well stocked. I could get most everything I need here. The staff is super friendly and the bakery does a nice job. There is a RedBox in the vestibule. It gets a 4 for not being the Co-Op (my favorite store) but would make a 4.5 if possible since they do have a nice all natural section. Oddly enough I've missed this store since I've moved away.
The reason I give it five stars is because it is one of the few stores with such a great health goods section. They have a large section for gluten free snacks and cereals. A large supplements section and a variety of healthy oils.

Moscow Food Co-Op

Reviews:
The Moscow food Co-op is a wonderful place as far as organic food is concerned. Most items are pricey, however they are of good quality and they offer lots of food varieties. They have xylitol in bulk for a good price ranging around 7 dollars a pound. One of their best deals I've seen would be their organic apple cider vinegar at about 18 dollars a gallon. They make wonderful fresh food items such quinoa salad or mango chicken salad. I even learned to make both of these salads based on the ingredients label and they are both delicious. They have brown eggs and good meat. Their bulk foods area is loaded with variety. One of my favorites they carry is a gallon jar of Bragg's liquid aminos. All their fruits and vegetables are organic and not genetically modified or covered in pesticides. To sum it up the Moscow food Co-op is a great place to shop however you need some extra money to be able to go there often.
My favorite place on Earth. I completely wish I was being hyperbolic but whatevs. I love their grocery selection, their knick-knack/beauty selection, and most of all, their deli. Mmmmm. Their salad bar is supah tasty too. And every one who works there is supah nice. Live, laugh, CO-OP baby (or maybe don't. That was silly.). Highly recommend, five stars, ALL CAPS, exclamation points (!!!!), THE END.
As a regular of the coop for their cafeteria and deli, they offer awesome food! Some of the best is biscuits and gravy on Thursdays and Sundays, as well as their breakfast pizza, or their pulled pork sandwiches. Their breakfast casseroles are good, and their dinners vary and are always good. Oh! Burger night on Thursday is awesome too. Highly recommend them as they also serve some good drinks at the expresso bar as well. Service is always there and friendly.

Chic and small wine bar. They have so many different varieties!
I really want to love Nectar. It is, in theory, exactly my type of restaurant. Except I don't. I like the atmosphere, and I LOVE their inexpensive wine flights, but I really dislike their food. However, because Moscow really needed a restaurant like Nectar, I think they'll get by.

Bloom

Reviews:
My husband and I went to Bloom for the first time today to celebrate my birthday. I had read all the reviews and was not disappointed. We ordered the Brioche French Toast (with fruit and cream) and Veggie Eggs Benedict, as well as some orange juice. The food was delicious! Thanks to fellow yelpers, I ordered a side of the Vanilla Bean Mascarpone for the french toast and it was heavenly! The eggs benedict were very good. I did lightly salt them but I think it's far better to have food under-salted than over-salted so patrons can salt to taste. The roasted potatoes tasted just like we got fresh from our garden this summer - roasted with oil, and herbs. The atmosphere was quiet and clean and I enjoyed the music. The server was a little less friendly than I prefer. She did her job well and didn't bug us, which was appreciated, but I thought she could've smiled a bit more and had a bit more welcoming attitude. I was already prepared for that, thanks to another review. Price was great - with 20% tip, we only paid $28, which seemed very reasonable to me. I liked the fact that the portion sizes were the right amount to feel satisfied but not feel like you're wasting food or having to take home leftovers. All in all, it was a very pleasant way to start my birthday. I will definitely be going back and will bring friends and family.
Everyone recommended The Breakfast Club in Moscow, but I enjoyed breakfast here more. The egg scramble with chorizo was delicious and the toast was awesome (the bread appeared homemade... if not, I'd like to know where Bloom buys it!). My wife had the brioche French toast and also really enjoyed it. I had a bite and again, the bread was fantastic. I will definitely return to Bloom soon for breakfast. If you are in Moscow or Pullman, check it out.
I recently made the trip out to Lewiston, ID to visit my best friend Katy R. She attended U of I and is an expert on all things Moscow, ID, so it just made sense that we would eventually find ourselves exploring this cool college town. Enter Bloom... Bloom is a cute little breakfast joint. Bloom has awesome service and even better FOOD! I ordered the smoked salmon benedict with hollandaise, served with breakfast potatoes ($11) and Katy ordered the biscuits and gravy with an over-easy egg ($9) and then we split some brioche french toast with fresh fruit and cream ($9). Everything was delicious - great portions and great prices. Breakfast is always a struggle for me - I usually want something savory, but sometimes find myself craving something sweet. Luckily, Katy and I solved that problem by ordering everything we wanted! The brioche french toast was fantastic - the hollandaise on my smoked salmon benedict was perfection and that smoked salmon... ahhhhh! If you ever find yourself in Moscow, ID... check out Bloom!

Great sandwich shop to stop by for lunch. I used to go here for lunch while in college and loved it. It was all freshly made right there. My favorite was the Vandal Club - I never picked anything different. It was a hot sandwich with turkey, ham, bacon, mayo, and a couple different cheeses. I now live in Seattle area and wish there was a place this good close by. Staff was always friendly and outdoor seating was great to sit in during the sunshine. Minimal chairs inside so you have to wait a couple minutes sometimes but go a little after noon and you're set to go!
Delicious! I put off trying this place for a long time because I thought the prices were a little steep, but once I did, I realized it's because the sandwiches are HUGE! A large sandwich practically feeds two. The Vandal Club is my absolute favorite. I get it every time. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, though (and no real place to stand waiting). The staff make the sandwiches a bit slowly and sometimes stand around chatting. I once placed an order by phone and they said it would be ready for pickup within 15 minutes, but when I showed up 20 minutes later, they hadn't even started making it yet (and the restaurant had only two patrons inside). The taste is definitely worth the wait, though. Yummmmmm.
For only being open during the week, you would expect the best of quality and best of service. I frequented this place off and on throughout the years here while going through school. It was a good sandwich shop, but that is all really I could say. The service was moderate, but when they were busy, the wait could become quite long quite quickly. The sandwiches are really nothing remarkable out of the ordinary, which is good if you are looking for a standard sandwich to have in case your forgot to make lunch. The stax sauce, was also fairly disappointing. It was a mixture of mayonnaise and horseradish, but unfortunately a little too heavy on the mayonnaise percentage. This place is good, if you can get to them while they are open. I am giving them three stars simply because they truly were 'A-Ok' not better nor worse, but a good place for lunch.
