The restaurant's setting is undoubtedly nicest of any dining establishment in the Sun Valley area. And years back (when it was called 'Felix's) it had cuisine to match its lovely garden-patio setting. After that time the quality of the food declined. And I had avoided this establishment for several years. But things have clearly changed for the better. My two dinners at the Grill this last month were pleasant revelations as to the quality of the Grill's kitchen. It is no longer just a pretty setting for a meal. Not only myself, but every one of the dozen or so fellow diners made the same observation: the Grill's reputation among the Sun Valley regulars for uninspiring food was no longer justified. The food once again is on par with its lovely setting. The quality of the food and the beauty of the setting perhaps might make it's #1 ranking a fair assessment.

One of my favorite restaurants in town. I am a local and I love the atmosphere and the food. You cannot go wrong with anything. Highly recommended

Was in Ketchum for a special weekend. This arguably was the best meal we had for the weekend. I enjoyed mine but my wife LOVED the fried chicken. Good service. A little loud though when it gets busy

The atmosphere of this place is spectacular but the food is extremely over priced for the quality and quantity. The fried chicken was over cooked and dry. Sadly KFC makes better fried chicken. The sides were soooo small but tasted great. I wouldn't go back!!

I don't give 5 stars easily. This is our new favorite in Sun Valley. Pricey but oh so worth it. The specials were divine, and priced very comparably to the regular entree items. The atmosphere of the restaurant is one of the eat I've ever been to. Highly recommended.

VERY expensive, not a good place to go if you would like a beer with your dinner. Limited food menu.

... Wonderful table outside on the lawn with a view of everything... Had a small portion of fried chicken...should have ordered the larger portion...brilliant!... They should rename this restaurant the big martini...

This review is based on the customer service we received, not the food. We were a group of 13 seated at two tables. I realize 13 is a large group, but The Grill assured us that they could accommodate us without issue. Our server appeared to be in her 60's. This is relevant only because one would think that a person in the hospitality industry who has reached the ripe age of 60 would know a thing or two about customer service. Our server was extremely condescending and rude. She insisted up front that the bill be split three ways, which made no sense considering that we needed four different bills. We had one person who was paying for 5, one who was paying for 4, and 2 couples. When we requested that we either be given separate checks, or a single bill and permitted to divvy the bill up ourselves, our server made a clucking noise at us to express that we could not. Without asking, our server grabbed my bottle of wine and took it to the other table and poured a glass for somebody seated there. When the bills did come, our server really screwed them up. She put my and my husband's order on my mother's best friend's bill. To make things easy, I decided to pay cash. Of course, our server was irate about this. She asked me what she was supposed to do with the $145 dollars that I gave her and balked when I told her that everything over $145 should be charged to the credit card. Most of the food was good. The two orders of halibut were really dry. If we had had a more gracious server who was not so disagreeable, our experience would have been so much better.

Absolutely fantastic food. The salmon, trout, filet mignon, lamb, and wiener schnitzel are the die for. The service and atmosphere were also first class.

As locals and this being our favorite restaurant in Ketchum, I rate this restaurant at least once a year. My wife arranged a birthday dinner for us last week and we had the usual exterience: excellent food, fine service, very good wine and a reasonable noise level. Well done, Bob - you continue to do it again and again,

I would've given them a 5 star rating if the staff had been more friendly. Our server and the host were awesome but our request to sit inside apparently didn't sit well with the rest of the staff. They seemed offended to have to set up a table for us. There were horrible fires nearby and we were trying to get out of the smoke. With that said, my steak was prefect! The wine selection was good and the meal itself was very enjoyable.

We had an amazing dinner and evening here! Lively atmosphere, superb staff and delicious food! We were a part of 23, but we still enjoyed amazing service. The pork chops were the best I have ever had! Locally raised pig, seasoned and grilled to perfection. Everyone who had the trout raved about it. And I discovered an amazing cocktail,, The Double Boy (I think). Lemon vodka, St. Germaine, grapefruit juice and a splash of prosecco served really cold. Perfect holiday evening.

Good food, nice ambience, good service. This is a very nice, upscale restaurant in the Nob Hill Inn. Prices are in line with what is expected from a restaurant of this caliber. So why not 5 stars? Hard to say, but 4 stars seems closer to my sense of it. I will certainly go back.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. Being from out of town, this is exactly where I can relax knowing that not only will my food and wine be incredible, but there experience will exceed expectation. 5 stars were earned.

Great atmosphere. Definitely ask for out door seating and I wish I had specified lawn seating. Feel like you're eating in someone's garden with amazing mountain views. That's not to take away from the food . The winner at our table was the wiienerschnitzel with spatzel, but everything else was good too. My filet was done perfectly. I also loved my cocktail thyme for gin, perfect amount of fresh thyme.

We were staying at the Inn and were too exhausted from the day to go anywhere else. On weekends, it is very crowded, but it was no problem getting a table on a Sunday. The food was ok. Not giant portions, nothing bad, just nothing rememberable. The menu states potatoes or rice, our waitress didn't ask our preference. It was not until we heard a different waitress tell her table that potatoes were paired with meat, rice with fish. Dessert was ok, but I would have been fine getting ice cream from the shop in town. If dinner would have been like breakfast at the Inn, they would be packed everynight.

Great food. Older slow relaxed atmosphere. Great wine list.

Nice place, good food, but highly overpriced wines. Ahi Burger is a great one! Service was good but forgetful - asked some people were asked if they wanted potatoe or rice and others not - so some were unhappy with what they got. Fairly noisy atmosphere when full and people have had a lot to drink.
