I'm not crazy about the whole raw food movement, and yes I love my steak extra rare, but on occasion a good fresh juice or super smoothie really hits the spot. Glow serves up some amazing raw food that even has my carnivores self coming back for more. The marinated kale salad is fantastic and the addition of avocado and quinoa give it an extra boost of protein and staying power. My favorite though is the Power Smoothie: hemp milk, banana, kale, vita mineral green, macs powder, and goji berries. I feel like a rejuvenated person after this smoothie no matter how hard I hit the town the night before. If your a garlicky person I also recommend the immunity boost juice: orange, lemon, lime, ginger, and garlic. It will give your immunity the defense it needs during these summer months parties, mixers, and get togethers!

had the zucchini noodles. they know what they are doing with flavor but it was still a tad spicy at times. still delightful. besides the vegan thing, this place is great. some raw meat/dairy would be nice but I know the market for that won't exist until people realize the healthiest way to eat!

After a few days straight of pizza and wings, I felt it was time to clean the ol' bulldog pipes. Glow Live Food cafe was just what the veterinarian ordered. The Sun Valley wrap with Quinoa, Hummus and local vegetables was excellent. I also had their Green Juice blend of Cucumber, Kale, Ginger, Apple and Lemon which was among the finest I've ever tasted. Best of all, I wasn't excessively gassy after eating here as can be the case with raw foods and bulldogs. My owners were pleased.

My wife and I stumbled upon this wonder raw - don't be mistaken - vegetarian restaurant while visiting the area. If you want healthy, happy and glowing food this is the place.

Watch out for little green worms in the salad! I alerted the kitchen. And they seemed unfazed that there was a worm in my food. It was alive and happy. All I was told that the greens are local and they shrugged their shoulders like, that's life. I would have liked an apology in the least, or a free dessert for feeling grossed out. I am not a raw foodist but love trying raw food places for their creativity. I have learned to not order raw food that pretends to be cooked food (burgers, pizza etc). That said, the Thai zucchini noodles were delicious! The sun burger was the expected dehydrated disk. The salad was fresh (ignoring the worm) and the dressings (hemp ranch: yum, tahini:OK) were fun. Kombucha on tap was refreshing. The kids liked the grilled cheese (nut cheese and avocado on some kind of bread that was not dehydrated seeds) outside shady seating in a cute ski town. I would return but would think twice or look deep into my salad before biting.

Genuinely healthy food. Haven't had a smoothie but they obviously use only fresh ingredients. Don't understand why this place isn't more prominently featured in vegetarian search.

This on surprise my wife and I. The toasts on the menu are phenominal as well as the veggie wraps. I'd seriously eat an entire loaf of their live bread in one sitting if it were on the menu. We also had a blueberry smoothie that was perfect and not the sugar loaded stuff you get at most places. I do have two non-food recommendations though. 1. I notice wheel chair bound people have to enter the main door from the side squeezing between a pole and and table where people may be sitting. Maybe improve the slope to the door where they can come straight in. 2. Place the menus somewhere other than at the cash register so customers waiting in line can more easily access them.

Only had the macaroon which was out of this world delicious. The kind of thing that just melts in your mouth and you think about how good it was for hours/days after. Everything looked amazing. Wish I had been hungry...

Hello, I wanted to relay a thought I had about my experience dining at Glow on Saturday. First of all, I want to say I think the food at Glow is just wonderful. I fully support the idea of eating as cleanly as possible-- vegan, raw, organic, locally sourced, gluten free, etc. All good things! However, I have two complaints. I thought about doing this on Yelp but I decided the better choice would be to voice my opinion directly to Glow instead of to the world via a bad review. (**I am now posting it on Yelp because your email address is invalid on the website, and the contact page won't let a message go through.) First, the website says you are open till 6, but the shop closed up at 5. Not the end of the world, but we almost missed dining with you because of the discrepancy! Second, once we had ordered two entrees, a dessert, and two kombuchas on tap, we were rung up at a higher price than is listed in the menu. The woman at the counter (maybe the owner? maybe not) informed us that the menu prices were old, and that the new prices were higher. Now while we support raw eating, we also know it is expensive, and we made our menu choices according to our price point. When I brought up the discrepancy to her, she justified it by arguing that raw food is like health insurance and you can't put a price on it, and then was prepared to throw out some of the food that had already been poured/prepared for us if we weren't able to pay for it. Two problems with this: first, I wasn't arguing the value of the food. Rather, the difference between the quoted prices on the menu and the charged prices at the register. And second, how did she feel better about throwing out the food we ordered than about adjusting the price to reflect what was quoted? Hardly seems in keeping with the philosophy of the restaurant. We ended up paying the higher price simply to avoid wasting the food. I know we came in at an inopportune time-- they were just about to close (but we would have come earlier if the website had told us they were closing at 5, not 6), and we were just behind an extremely difficult customer who had placed a large order to-go and kept insisting on the kitchen remaking every dish. The woman at the counter was commendably keeping her cool in a difficult situation. However, the bottom line is that we wish we had been given accurate information as to hours and prices, and we felt condescended to instead of accommodated when we mentioned it. We don't live in Ketchum, but always make a point of visiting Glow when we visit Sun Valley. Sadly, I don't think we will be returning after this experience. Thank you for reading through this. I hope it helps a future customer have a better experience.

their acai bowl was mosty smoothie. there should be more solid fruit chunks and granola, etc. on the top. also the bottom smoothie needs to be thicker. the texture was too runny.

Most expensive smoothie ever, but tasted good. I've had far better (and cheaper) at the Boise Co-Op though (and at home). I think they'd be smart to bring down their prices a bit. Kind of absurd the amount they charge for a juice. Staff was less than friendly. I would like to try their food sometime, though their hours are limiting.

I love this place! If you are looking for a healthy lunch or a hot bowl of delicious, home-made soup, then Glow is your place! The produce is some of the freshest I've tasted around here. Staff was super friendly too!
