Great hole in the wall spot that we like to hit when passing through. I'd give them 5 stars if they had better chips and salsa. This time I had the carne asada torta and my friends had the Azteca burrito, steak tacos, and chicken enchiladas. Everybody enjoyed their food a lot.
Traveling through town and stopped in to grab dinner. It's delicious and the staff was very friendly!
Love this place. We live in sun valley and stop here every time we drive to City of Rocks for the weekend. Perfect place along the way. Great food and great staff.

The food is good. Some days better than others. Most of the time it is worth the wait. However, be prepared to wait. Do not go through drive through it literally takes 20-30 minutes. If you have time give this pace a shot.
The food here is really good. Much better than the other fast food places around. You typically do have to wait a little while and the girls that work the front are not the most friendly but the food is definitely the best! I go during the day for lunch quite a bit as it is slightly healthier and im never disappointed. And the cook that works during the day is very good looking! Definitely a must! Its about time Burley brings in a good restaurant!
New to burley the burnt lemon has proved itself at it's other locations. If you come to the burley location be prepared to fight parking and plan on a small wait because they are so busy. The food is worth the wait . The burgers are great, the roll ups are top notch, the lemonade is the best in idaho. I guarantee you won't be disappointed with this place.

Okay...this place looks scary. And...it's kind of rundown. But this is the best breakfast place in the area. The hash-browns alone are worth the trip. The chorizo and eggs are great. The huevos rancheros are great. Nice enchiladas. I'm told, by reliable sources, both the posole and the tripas is very good. This morning I went outside the usual and had the the enchilada mañana. Two cheese enchiladas with eggs on top and hash browns. The enchilada sauce could use a bit more kick, but it's still good. This is as close as we get in Mini-Cassia to the hole-in-the wall diner with surprisingly good food. Particularly if you're looking for a Mexican twist.

I order from Pudders quite often. The pizza is pretty good. It's better than the chain stuff from the hut, and worlds better than pizza that is hot and ready. The bbq chicken is probably my favorite followed closely by the Hawaiian. You really can't go wrong with any of their pizzas.

Great chimichanga platter. We stopped at this restaurant because so many cars were there at 11:30 am! Even the drive thru had about 6 to 8 cars. I can see why. Great service for fast food. Fun home town environment.
Overpriced. The food at this place takes forever first of all. I know it's 'freshly made' but honestly I can make it in five minutes at home too. With all those teen staff I just don't understand how it takes at least 30-45 minutes through the drive thru. The food is also way overpriced. I don't even think anything is technically homemade. It's just separate stuff that they just put together, not anything that a normal person can't make at home. I think I'll stick with the new Taco Bell. Give Taco Bell a little more time to get adjusted to everything and they are going to be my go to for Mexican fast food.
I have lived in this area all my life, I cannot figure out what people see in this place. I'm not saying that the food is bad or anything, and the restaurant is clean, the people that work there are nice, but for what they charge and the for the food they serve its not worth your time to eat there, they charge $3 for a burrito that's smaller than a frozen burrito. Maybe I am crazy, but it's nothing special and defiantly not worth what they charge.

Canton Buffet

2428 Overland Ave
Burley, 83318
Reviews:
Awesome! I have loved this restaurant since the days when it were still a small order only. With the buffet now it's even better. The lunch buffet is a really good value, probably the best in the city. For under 8 bucks there are so many choices for lunch, plus dessert and ice-cream! I've been to some of the other lunch buffets around town and they charge about $1-3 more than Canton and has 1/3 of the selection so I'd say this is the real bang for your buck. There are still lunch specials too for those who don't each much or just want something cheaper. Not to mention they still have the original menu as well which hasn't changed one bit! The dinner buffet has seafood like shrimp, clams, and the best crab legs in the valley every night! Everything is always fresh and delicious. They have come a long ways from their old location but have stuck to the authentic and original taste and menu thanks to the awesome owners! I whole-heartedly recommend this place to everyone who wants a quality buffet with lots to choose from, and of course for those who just want to eat from the menu or do take-out, this is the place for you. You can't go wrong with the Canton. :)
Brit hubby is over the moon about the sweet & sour pork here. We had delivery at our hotel last week on the way to Boise and now had to stop once more before returning to Arkansas. I usually avoid buffets but here I have found a nice selection to choose from. Ok, yes, there is pudding from a can and jelly cubes - eyeing those for my dessert run. But even at 3 in the afternoon there are fresh authentic dishes to sample. The steamed rice is nice and fresh. Bring the kids - there are plenty of other types of food for picky eaters. And check my pix for a surprise!
This place was better when it was a small order only place. I think the buffet has kinda killed the quality of the food. Not saying that the food is bad but it's just kinda all the same nothing special. All the food tastes the same. Not a bad place but not horrible either.

Al’s Pizza Shoppe

2510 Overland Ave
Burley, 83318
Reviews:
Loved the 'old fashioned' look of the place as we walked through the door. Not a huge place, but cozy enough to enjoy a nice pizza. They weren't busy during our visit, but the gentleman serving us was by himself, busy preparing his homemade sauce and dough. Pizza was hot and fresh tasting, and I'd recommend to anyone to give it a try.
BURLEY IDAHO: Driving through a small town, needed something to eat and some caffeine, decided to stop at Al's. Ambience (3 stars): The entryway looks like a divey little pizza shop; not much for parking or curb appeal, which is fine, meets expectations. The interior is really cozy, though, lots of booths, wooden walls, kitschy cabinets and 1940's framed calendar images on the walls. More like an old family diner than a pizza joint. I quite liked the interior for a place to rest from the road. Service (3 stars): The cashier/cook/waiter/busboy was very nice. Yes, he was all the same person, doing all the jobs. Al is getting a helluva deal on labor costs. PIZZA-tried two kinds: Al's Super Combo (2.5 Stars): The crust on this pizza was surprisingly good: crisp and chewy, homemade, and served warm. The toppings were plentiful, but derivative: chopped ham from the grocer, mushrooms, pineapple, and olives from a can. It tasted fine. The unfortunate reality was that the center of the pizza did not have thick enough crust and got soggy under the weight of the toppings. Sour Pig (2 stars): This pizza scores points for originality. Mustard sauce, sour kraut, and Canadian bacon. It is adventurous, and I had to try it. Unfortunately it was too adventurous for me. I didn't like the flavor combination of the mustard with the other two. I like each flavor apart very much, but together just weirded me out. Maybe you will like it better than me. Squeaks by with 3 stars. Compared to the rest of Burley, though, this has been declared the winner.
We stooped for lunch while traveling through. The service was outstanding (we met Al). Had the salad bar/2 slice special for $5.95! The salad bar and pizza were basic and fresh...just what we needed. Nothing fancy, but a nice local establishment. Four stars for the service and friendly staff.

El Caporal

610 N Overland Ave
Burley, 83336
Reviews:
This Mexican food was better than I was expecting! I ordered the Carne Asada and I thought the steak was flavorful and well-cooked. Such a step up from the neighboring fast food joints. I would have given 5 stars were it not for the fact that the service is notably bad. Our waitress never once checked in on us (so I never did get that extra guac and milk to soothe the burn from the peppers haha), and I'm still waiting for her to come take my debit card off the edge of the table as I sit here typing, and it's been more than 5 minutes.
The margaritas left a bit to be desired, especially at $8 a piece. The food was decent and you get much more for the money. A big bonus is that is within a short walking distance from the Best Western and the Fairfield Inn. So, have as many of those $8 margaritas as you want, so long as you can remember which direction to walk. I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid this place, but I would definitely want to try to other Mexican options in this town before heading back to the Caporal.
About what one could expect from a restaurant in this area. Salsa was good, chicken chimichanga was mediocre, mole chicken was over sweet but good with onions and mushrooms. A fine place to stop and eat if you need to.

Perkins Restaurant

Reviews:
Nope. Wouldn't go here again. Service was poor. We stopped by after the lunch rush (maybe 1PM-ish), and after being seated, waited at good 15-20 minutes for someone to come by to take our order. Food quality was just so-so. About what you might expect for a Perkins, but certainly no more.
Arrived at 910. Clean. Not crowded. Promptly ordered and we're immediately sucked into a black hole. Luckily we were expelled from the black hole at 1005 and served almost immediately. Food was good. Avoid the black hole and things are okay.
Overall good clean place. Denny's style menu. This was our first time at this place. Parking is plenty. Location is awesome. Very close to the freeway 84. There is a bakery as well. Food was hot when served. I only wish it was a little faster in taking order and serving the food. But it could very well have been my perception after 13 hour road trip. :)
