LOVE! Good Prices. Great Food. Fun Experience. Will be back. Tried 4 different crepes and all were very good! My favorite crepe was the Spicy Jamaican Chicken Crepe unique flavor, and the level one spice was warm and wonderful in the mouth! We also enjoyed the Ma Province crepe it tasted like garlic chicken pizza at papa murphys. The De Poulet crepe would be great for bacon lovers and would be better for breakfast in my opinion! FOR DESSERT we had the bananas foster, with creme brulee on top and added strawberries! They were super accommodating, and the guy who looked like Antonia Banderas was super hepful, and willing to answer all my picky questiona! We also tried the tomato basil soup it was good well worth $2 for a cup.

The girlfriend and I decided to try this on a Saturday night while waiting for our movie and we really enjoyed it! Previous reviewers mentioned how packed it was when they tried it, but there were only two other customers at the tables when we got there so we must have lucked out. She had the Mediterranean style and I had the Aussie style. They both tasted amazing and my girlfriend said she will definitely order the same thing again. We didn't notice the 2 movie tickets, 2 crepes, 2 drinks deal for $29.95 until after we ordered but then we realized that the deal didn't include the Italian sodas we got, so no big deal. We definitely will be back to try some new menu options! PS - they have movie candy for sale for super cheap , so grab some here, hide it in your coat pocket and stick it to the man!

Would have been 5 stars if they didn't treat their business like a hobby. Great food but it just isn't professionally ran. Funky hours. No real staff. Can also be a bit pricey for fountain sodas as it is the smallest cup available by Pepsi and there is no free refills. The food is great - not questioning that. It is just everything else that a restaurant should have it lacks.

Update (2/17/2015): It seems they changed hands. The food is still good, but the vibe of the place is very different. It used to feel very family friendly, and just friendly in general. The new vibe is more like just processing people. I have not gone much lately, because of that. There used to be an understanding with Edward's theater where you could take a Crepe in, it seems that has gone too. Original review: 7/25/2011 One of my favorite places to eat in town. My 6 year old daughter even has it as one of her all-time favorites. It is difficult to find this combination anywhere else in town. Fancy, up-scale food at a VERY affordable price. Great for both a date, and for the the family. The owners have done a spot on job. I have yet to send anyone here to eat, that didn't love it.

My sister and I stopped in a couple of weeks ago. On the weekend, we were driving and wondering where to go to get a bite to eat. I was telling her that I was was craving a crepe. She suggested trying The Creperie. We found our new favorite place. We ended up ordering both savory and sweet crepes, yummy. The service was good, too. I highly recommend them.

Placed order of 2 crepes at 9:15pm. Waited 35 minutes and saw several other parties that came in after us be served, so gave up and asked for a refund. Manager gave us a free crepe coupon but it was a total bummer.

Tasty crepes, friendly service and short wait time. I had a bananas foster crepe with ice cream and it was delicious!

One thing I love about this place is that it's not like any other restaurant in Boise. Great sweet and savory crepes! Local and fresh - definitely a good change from other places around town. Location isn't great - don't know how many people want to get crepes before/after a movie. Definitely a must if you're looking for a tasty change in dining!

Spot-on crepes every time. Decent hours, good location. Not much else to say.

What a great little cafe! It's right across from the movie theater so I can imagine they are fairly busy at night. They have a lot of candy bars, drinks or fruit to purchase that are convenient to take into the movie theater. The cafe is rather small but it's efficiently designed. You likely won't fit a large party in the dining area but it's perfect for couples or a double date. The crepes are served on paper plates so it'd be easy to go find a bench outside on a nice night. There are outlets along the wall next to every booth so you can plug in your phone or laptop. The music is an eclectic mix of old jazz and new songs. I don't think there's a restroom but it seems like an in and out kind of stop over anyway. The atmosphere is very eclectic with lots of local art on the wall (for sale too!). I ordered the thai crepe and an Italian soda. Both were fantastic! My crepe was filling without making me feel stuffed. Its the perfect amount to still have room enough to split a sweet crepe with a friend. The pricing is very reasonable and the variety is perfect. The man who served me, who I think is also the owner, was very friendly and got my order fast. Overall, I'd say this place is all about fun, delicious foods - perfect for a night out. I'll be back!

Loved this place since it first opened. The crepes are delicious and well priced, the employees are nice and work as fast as they can (it is usually really busy so it can be a little of a wait). But since I first came here there have been a few changes... Sort of recently they switched to paper plates and plastic forks. I don't mind them, they just make it a little less classy and "Frenchy" than it once was. But the plastic forks are a huge problem for me. I've never finished a crepe with my fork still in once piece, they break way too easily! The booths are made for 1.5 normal sized people (or maybe 2 children) each side and there's almost no room to expand the table for a group larger than 4. There are plugs right on the table so if you want to hangout a while you'll never run out of power! I love seeing the art for sale, all of it's really good (if a little overpriced). The movie trailer people inside and outside the shop are extremely annoying. Being asked before I come in AND after I come in, if I want to watch movie trailers for money is 2 too many times to be asked. From what I've heard of the movie trailer scheme is that it is a waste of time/a scam. No matter how many times you ask I will always say no. All the new stuff aside, at the heart of The Creperie is great employees and yummy food. I will always go back and recommend this place.

I got the chicken Ma Province crepe and it was really good. The pesto was too much and it tasted just like Costcos pesto, but that's neither here nor there. The best part is whatever they cook the chicken in before putting it in the crepe. That really took it over the top. My friend got a strawberry Nutella crepe. I mean, it is a strawberry Nutella crepe. Could have used more strawberries but it was still good. The service was awkward. Kinda stood there awhile not knowing what to do because no one seemed to care that I was ready to order. And they use paper plates and plastic utensils. That's just a waste, a literal waste. I would come back here for savory crepes but probably skip on sweet.

Stopped in for a snack before going to a movie. They have a good selection of crepes. We ordered a Strawberry Blintz Crepe. It had a cheesecake flavored sauce that was quite good but just average crepe over all. Only 3 stars because the place is cluttered. I don't mind eclectic but is it necessary to have 100+ Nutella jars everywhere and a mish-mash of all decor. And, the cashier was nice but he was eating on the line as he prepped. That's a big no-no in my food service experience.

Can't really speak for the brick and mortar location but their booth at the Saturday market is pretty great. Lines and wait times can get pretty long but there's lots to do and see to bide your time between ordering and getting your crepe. I typically get the turkey artichoke which is delicious. I tried the salmon today and that was equally yummy.

Perfect little place for when you get the knashies. I especially like the awesome italian sodas. Great flavors and the service is nice.

I took my mother and daughter here on Easter Sunday for a pre-movie treat. We'd never tried this place before, but we're glad it was open on a holiday and could provide a quick snack prior to the show. COULD is the operative word. Granted, when we entered we were assaulted with a mishmash of random things to purchase (including art on the walls, candy bars, and cheaply made trilby hats - which I don't even pretend to understand), in addition to a rather large menu. In my opinion, too large. I asked a simple question as to whether their Citron crepe (lemon sauce, powdered sugar, & crepe) was overtly sweet, or more a balance of sweet and tart. The woman behind the counter must have been newer, because she wasn't sure and kept having to ask her co-worker -an incredibly terse man named Courtney- about the lemon sauce. She, the woman (her name tag read "Chef"), did attempt to try to give me a small sample spoon of the lemon sauce to try, but Courtney just looked at me and said, "It's sweet. But not too sweet." I asked Chef what her favorites were and she recommended a Nutella strawberry crepe and a strawberry cheesecake crepe. I chose the Cheesecake Strawberry crepe, my daughter the S'more, and my mother inexplicably chose a Stroganoff Meatball crepe. One plus: they offer Gluten-Free crepes. My mom has a legitimate gluten allergy, so we didn't mind the $2 upcharge. Minor gripe: I paid for an xl soda (they have 4 or 5 sizes & prices of Bev cups displayed by the register), but Chef have me a small and said they only have 1 size and it's refillable. Ok, then take the somewhat mangled looking cup display down, and charge me for the right item. But, I let it slide. It didn't seem worth the frustration (as she was clearly trying her best to be helpful, and I don't need the 50 cent -or whatever it is-difference that badly). What I minded was Courtney's attitude. I understand that it was a holiday, and they were open, and it was slow; all things that can make someone in the service industry grumpy. But, it's the service industry: don't take it out on your customer. My major complaint: Courtney walked over to the crepe griddles (which are on display so you can watch them made -a bonus in my kid's eyes) to start preparing them, but then walked into the back prep area. I assumed it was to get items needed for our crepes. Ok, no biggie. A couple who had entered after us were trying to order, and Chef kept needing Courtney to clarify things for her. So, he'd walk away from the griddle again and again. Ok, she's new, needs help, I get it. That's ok. But, a good five minutes pass before he even touches the griddle or Crepe batter. Now, we'd entered with 30 minutes to spare before the movie starts. We now had 15, and nothing had been started. I politely asked how long it took to prepare the crepes we'd chosen. Courtney's response, in a nasty tone, was that they took time to prepare. "This isn't fast food. (Note: I didn't imply it was.). I have to clean the griddles. (Note: Why wouldn't you clean them after you'd cooked the last ones?)." I politely stated that we needed to catch a movie in 15 minutes, and if that was an issue. Courtney's response, in an even more gruff tone, "Well, there's 20 minutes of previews, so I don't know why you're worried." I may be wrong (I don't think so), but if you have a small crepe shop, supported by the patron traffic of a movie complex, you'd expect that people may want their items in less than 20 minutes. All of the items in our crepes were pre-prepped, there was nothing overly time-consuming, and it was really just this guys crap attitude and general malaise that slowed things down. There is a crepe stand operated at local Farmer's Markets (I believe by a different company, can't recall the name), that creates gourmet level crepes, with fresh fillings, in less than 2 or 3 minutes each (and that's with 2 people in a little booth getting slammed). I don't see how this guy couldn't do it in less than 15. To be fair, the crepes were pretty good. The Kid felt like her Nuttella S'mores crepe needed more chocolate, but it was actually well-balanced and had great texture variation. My Strawberry Cheesecake crepe wasn't overly sweet. It had fresh berries sliced and placed intently throughout. It would have benefitted from a touch of citrus, but I can't complain about it much. I didn't touch Mom's stroganoff crepe because, well, yeah.... Just no. But, she liked it, and the GF batter didn't seem to make a large difference in the texture or integrity of the crepe itself. Honestly, for $22 & change (with the soda & tip) for 3 people it wasn't a bad deal. If I were able to order ahead, or knew there were non-surly apathetic people working at a specific time I would consider visiting here again if I got a sweet tooth pang. However, I was put off by the decor and the persistent "meh" attitude of Courtney, so it sort of soured the whole thing for me.

This place was super yummy! Nutella, bananas and strawberries?! Can't go wrong. It was walking distance from my hotel so that was a plus. My crepe was the perfect size to calm my sweet tooth.

I love this place. I have tried a different crepe every time I come here and have yet to be disappointed. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars was that it can take a little while to get your crepe. But it has been worth the wait so far every time

Great crepes with lotsa options. Soda/fountain drinks too. Scotch and soda type stuff or Italian sodas and etc. good place for a before or after movie bite. Or be like us and just come for the food.

Slow service. Mediocre food. I ordered the tres delish. It was over cooked and something I may have received at IHOP. Overpriced for the quality. I won't go back.

I really love the Pumpkin Harvest crepe and hot coffee. You can buy discount movie passes as well which will save you $$ if you are going to the Edwards cinema which is right across from The Creperie. Also they have free high speed wifi, and some pretty neat local art on the walls for sale...^^

We enjoyed the Ma Provence and The Creperie Deluxe. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Atmosphere was clean and friendly. Recommended highly!!!

Oh my goodness! This place is incredible. They're not chefs, they're magicians. I had the Ma Provence crepe, which has chicken, spinach, tomato, basil, mozzarella, parmesan, pesto sauce (and maybe one other thing I'm forgetting). It was amazing. All the flavors combined flawlessly. And they may claim that they make their pesto sauce in house, but I'm fairly confident they ship it in from Heaven. Ahhhh...that was cheesy...just like my crepe! Anyway, I also had the Elvis crepe, which has peanut butter, bananas, dulce de leche, semi-sweet chocolate chips, whipped cream, and almonds. DANG! Very tasty. The staff is as friendly as people come. They pump out the crepes pretty quick, and they decided to wait until I finished my first crepe to bring out my second, which I thought was very kind. I have a few tiny complaints. My crepes were served on paper plates, which I thought sort of worked against the sophistication of the crepe. Also, the prices aren't bad IF you're only getting one crepe. For two crepes and a drink I paid over $15. That's kinda steep for one person. I think there should be some sort of discount if you're buying more than one crepe. Originally I was going to give The Creperie 6 stars, but because of these tiny complaints, I'll give them 5! :D

Friendly service and good food makes this a place I will visit again. I had the Aussie Chicken Crepe and it was very tasty. The crepe also had lots of bacon in it which is always a plus.

Popped in just before an IMAX films. The crepes look marvelous and I want to go back there to eat. This trip we sampled home made candy- they have a candy corn 'fudge' and a pumpkin 'fudge' that are the BOMB.

I was looking for a light Supper and this fit the bill. The restaurant is located in a walking mall across from a theater. I expected a French restaurant with perhaps patio or street tables. So much for expectations. This has a fast food layout which I felt was not very inviting. You order much the same way as you would most fast food restaurants, at a counter and get a ticket. The food is prepared to order. It appears that the restaurant caters to an eclectic taste. It does not have the classic crepes that you would get in a Creperie in France. I had the Cordon Bleu Crepe which was only so-so. I would not order this again as it was salty from the ham and the sauce was not gruyere That I would have wanted. The sauce was running and just did not balance the crepe. However, it did satisfy my desire for a light meal. Then I had the Citron Crepe for dessert which was excellent. All in all, I could recommend this restaurant to someone who was looking for a light meal.

Incredible food!! Get the ham and pear crepe and try a desert one! This is family run and you most likely will always see the father there working with one of his daughters. I'm from Denver and have had some of the best creeps in the county due to my traveling; but I will tell you these are right up there with the best! I have been back to Boise on several occasions and I always stop in for a crepe. It's worth the trip!!

Having eaten there on several occasions I have to say that this is a place well worth investing the time to visit and eat. An interesting selection of both sweet and savory crepes await you. I've enjoyed the artichoke crepe with added mushrooms. This is a chicken in a garlic sauce with artichoke hearts with the addition of mushrooms served with a pesto sauce that was the perfect compliment to the garlic sauce. I've enjoyed several of their sweet desert crepes also and find them to be the perfect end to a meal or an even better way to lighten the day. A must is the fresh squeezed lemonade tart yet sweet refreshing on a hot day and at only 2 dollars it can't be beat.

Twice this past week they were closed when the sign on the door (and their answering machine - I called too) said they'd be open. Once I can maybe understand, on a Monday night, but Saturday we thought we'd try again but waited 45 minutes past their opening at 6 only to see the manager next door (Pollo Ray, where we then DID eat - movie next door started at 7) come over to put a sign on the door indicating they wouldn't be opening. They even had an employee who didn't have keys to open the place waiting outside to work. Even the best food is terrible if you can't get in to have it!

I expected tasty food here according to the reviews. Nope. I don't know if it was an off day or what, but neither my savory nor my dessert crepe was good. Bad enough that I won't try again and shall now call it the Craperie.

A clean, well lighted place, located next to the biggest CinemaPlex in town. Ambience is no frills, yet functional. Located in a former ice cream shop, so it's narrow, with little boothes and tables that can be slid together for larger groups. I had the Mediterranean, and the Strawberry Blintz. Both were most tasty. Another reviewer was upset that alcohol was not used in the preparation of one of the crepes, particularly since "just recently returning from Paris". (Snicker). If this place advertised alcohol, but didn't serve it, I could see his point, but they don't. Most parents bringing their kids to this family friendly location would prefer to order anything off the menu without worrying about their kids catching a buzz from it.

This was our first time to this small restaurant and sadly will be our last. Given the meager choices near the Edwards Theater we decided to try this creperie. I wanted to try the ham and pear crepe, but alas! they were out of pears. So I opted for Le Veggie. When asked if I wanted broccoli and sunflower seeds, I stated no. The sunflower seeds were included anyway. My husband had the cordon bleu with chicken. I would say the crepes were OK, that's all. What I really objected to was the general disarray of the place and lack of organization. Bottles on the floor, dusty floor, and not much in the way of customer service. There was also television on which was distracting. When we asked if it could be turned off, the owner just turned down the sound. There happened to be a science show on that talked about garbage and waste, not a very appetizing way to enjoy your food. I felt like to the owners that customers are sort of incidental to their business. They don't make a great effort to make a person comfortable here. We won't go back.

Will L. Thanks for the reply to my review. My apologies but I thought you were in the business of selling crepes, not your religious viewpoint. I find it prudent to update my review after just recently returning from Paris and experiencing what an authentic crepe should taste like and after unveiling your ulterior motive of shoving your opinion on coffee and alcohol down my throat (instead of your food). The crepes in Paris were stuffed full of goodies and it took nothing away from the experience. It doesn't matter how pretty your birthday cake is... If it doesn't taste good I'm not going to eat it.

As of right now, they are running a special where you get two crepes, two sodas, and two movie tickets for $30. Killer deal! I saw their cart at the Saturday Market but it was closing time, so my boyfriend and I went there later that evening. I got a sweet crepe (Thai Banana) and my boyfriend got a savory (The Islands). We loved them! They were very friendly and helpful on the different choices. We also bought some homemade candy which was sooooo good! The owner of the restaurant will also make your crepe to-go and you can take it into the theater with you! How cool is that!? We will definitely be back to try more.

Just tried The Creperie this evening - on a Friday night at 6:30 pm and the place was packed! Since this is the first review for it on yelp, let me add that they are located in the regal 22 restaurant row. And what a wonderful addition it is! Now we know where to go for dinner on our movie dates. These are the same people who have the cart in the Farmers market on Saturdays (or so I read in the Scene mag). So most people probably are familiar with their offerings. Apparently people had been asking them to get a brick and mortar place and so here they are. Thank heavens! Prices range from $3 - $7 - sweet and savory. We tried the La Provence and Thai Chicken today - both were generously portioned so much so that even my husband admitted it was difficult to finish one on his own. And they didn't scrimp on anything for $7. We can't wait to go back to try some sweet ones. I was very happy to see th crowds there. As we all know, that particular row of businesses hasn't enjoyed good luck in the past so please Boise, let this one make it. Go try them out. After "Square" closed, I didn't dare hope that we would ever have another such establishment. And in some ways this one might even be better (price point). The place is on the cozy side - but laid out nicely. The staff were friendly.

The Creperie is a fun night out especially when coupled with a movie at Edwards next door. We have been there 3 times now. The food is wonderful! Really enjoyed the Thai Chicken, De Poulet, and the Mediterranean. Each was unique, flavorful, and just yummy! Really liked the Eclair sweet crepe too! I noticed the last couple of times we were at Edwards that lots of people were in Creperie but not too many in the other restaurants around there. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food and very satisfying. My husband and I like looking at the menu and taking suggestions about what to try next. It's a great, new, creative eatery in Boise- love it.

This place is awesome! We had just finished a movie and it looked good so we stopped for dessert. They have sweet and savory crepes plus homemade candy, fudge, etc. The service was fantastic too! Most sweet crepes were about $4-$5. Not sure on the savory but I think they were similar prices. They sell drinks but you can get free water in actual cups. They also have some kid foods available.
