This was our first visit, and we were very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant decorations were very authentic and attractive. It was very clean and smelled great! The house salad and soup were delicious. The lettuce was green, leafy lettuce, not just iceberg and the dressing was seriously the best I've ever tasted. Very fresh and obviously made from scratch. The entree plate contained a small cucumber salad, an egg roll, jasmine rice, and yellow curry. Everything was so, so yummy! The curry was made with coconut milk and had potatoes, onions, tomatoes, and meat in it. One of us had beef and the other had chicken. They were both incredibly good. We will definitely be back!

Excellent and quick service! I loved the Panang Curry and mango sticky rice pudding! It's nice enough for date night.

We ordered Phad Thai and spicy prawn soup. The soup is tasting very fresh but somehow has a little bit bitter flavor. Don't like that. The Phad Thai is wet and soft compare to Thai house's same dish, but it would be better they can put less sour flavor in it. The decorations are pretty exotic, like that.

I am surprised to see some of the mixed reviews. We have been eating at Thai Cuisine for a couple of years now and have always had good experiences. Our most frequent night to eat in or carry out is Friday--maybe all the superstars are working then! Because we have always had great food there. The pad woonsen with seafood added is fabulous. The kids like the curries. The crab rangoon-type things are good as are the other appetizers. My husband likes their soups. Everyone in the family has their own favorite item--when you are with a group, you can find something to each person's tastes. The staff is also very accommodating regarding individual tastes. They can make "no hot" for me and "on fire" for my son, will add things for small charges as appropriate. I am estimating we have eaten their food at least 30 times and each time was very good.

Ah, a lovely little gem off of 84, in suberbia, outside of Boise! Since my last fore into the asian cuisine called Thai in Boise i was on the hunt for something that my my tummy happy. Lucky for me there are people that enjoy good food and pointed me toward this gem! It is in a much nicer part of town, it has it's own parking lot. The decoration is large wooden pieces,a large open dining room, and a friend staff. We went with - PAd Thai, MAssaman Curry, and Spicy Basil Chicken - a feast to say the least! Their hot is not bad, a little nose run, the thai hot would be the better choice for those that enjoy some heat! We shall definitely be back! Yummy!

Disappointing. The green curry was bland and the fresh roll dipping sauce just tasted like sugar water. I LOVE Thai food and even when it's bad, it's generally still good - mainly because (with the variety of fresh ingredients used) it can't help but be flavorful. This is the first time I have ever needed to add salt to Thai food! I wish I'd driven the extra couple of miles to Bangkok Thai...

Called ahead to place a food order to go. Arrived within specified time frame to pick up order, and surprisingly the order was pretty expensive compared to other other Thai food restaurants that do take out orders. Dishing the food up for hoping to be an enjoyable meal, the food was cold and extremely bland. The meals lacked any type of seasoning or spice, and honestly tasted as though it all came straight out of a box or a freezer meal bought at the grocery store. Being a thai food lover, I was sorry to of had this experience after basing my decision to choose this location off of other Yelp reviews :/ Could of just been an 'off' day for the chef's, but still very disappointed.

Okay, if you want the best Thai food in Boise, this is your stop. Thai standards, such as Pad Thai, Thai basil, and the various curries are excellent. Depending on my mood, I will sometimes ask them to cut down the fish sauce in the pod Thai. Great waitstaff. Location is perfect for a family run Thai restaurant in Idaho. If it moved downtown into a swanky high-rent spot, it would cease to be the beautiful authentic Thai we now enjoy.I recommend the spring or summer rolls, red curry, and pad Thai. My only regret is that they do not have a swimming Rama, sautéed spinach, chicken drowning in peanut sauce.

I've only been here once, but it was pretty great! The wait staff was very attentive and sweet. I loved the decoration of the restraunt as well. Food was plentiful and came out quick. Will definitely be back!

Great Thai food. Excellent lunch specials. Not superb atmosphere... But nothing sub par.

The food at Thai Cuisine is delicious and, best of all, vegan-friendly. There are many meat and egg-free dishes on the menu. Better yet, they will veganize just about anything if you ask. The ambiance and service are always top-notch. They even do great take out! If you like fresh, veggie-based Thai food be sure to give this place a try.

The food was good and they filled out take out order really quickly. I will go back again.

I've been told (and I see it's the consensus) that this is the "best Thai food in Boise." I can't verify this as I've not had Thai food elsewhere in Boise. I have had plenty of Thai and this was, as the stars indicate, A-OK. The service was good - they kept our waters full and the server was friendly. The ambiance was...funny? I thought it felt like beach house meets Indiana Jones Temple of Doom meets Thai restaurant. Not really a pro or a con, but it was fun. And not Temple of Doom as in blankets of spiderwebs and eye balls in your soup. And no voodoo dolls that I saw. The food. The food...it was fine. I mean I enjoyed eating it well enough but there was this flavor after every few bites that...made me think of lard to be honest, but I'm not sure what it was. Whatever the case, it wasn't the lovely light Thai that I've enjoyed for years at better venues (see Thai Ruby, Provo, UT). Still, if I wanted Thai and knew there wasn't anything better in Boise, I'd return here. Whatever that means.

Extremely delicious, authentic (and affordable!) Thai food. I've eaten here countless times, tried almost everything on the menu and never been disappointed. You just can't go wrong. They have a killer lunch special too. :-) Best Thai in Boise, hands down.

The place was not nearly full which worried me for a Friday night, but my fears proved to be unfounded. Service was prompt and friendly. The waitress explained the dishes and the degrees of spice available. Our party of three each had a different dish and every one was thoroughly satisfied with their meal.We shared a spring roll appetizer and with beverages and tip the Bill was less than 50 bucks. I'll be returning next time I'm in Boise.

All I can say is fantastic! Wife and I had lunch here, exceeded our expectations. Lunch is underpriced for all we had, exceptional value. Better still was quality of the food and service. Server was polite and on point. We will be back!!

Hello all. Thai is one of our favorites. We have been to a few of the Thai restaurants in Boise. Thai Cuisine is easily the worst. The service was terrible. The fried rice was bland. The curry noodle dish was actually gross. Here are our rankings. 1. Pat's Thai 2. Sa-wad-dee 3. Chaing Mai 4.Taste of Thai 5. Siam 11. Thai Cuisine To be cont...

I thought I would try a new Thai place after readying the positive reviews. I know that I can't judge an entire menu on two entrees, but after trying the Mongolian Beef and Chicken Pad Thai, I will not be back. It wasn't horrible, but it definitely wasn't good either. The Pad Thai was heavy with fish sauce which I think is the sour taste someone else commented on at one point. The noodles were over cooked and there was only a small amount of chicken with most of the topping being tofu. The Mongolian Beef had a very runny sauce but the taste was actually okay and the meat was tender. I'm not a big fan of Mongolian Beef served as just a brown sauce with meat and vegetables. I got this as take out so can't comment on the atmosphere or service. Definitely don't feel like I got a good value out of my $25.

Maybe it's a 5. Very good Thai food in a clean attractive space, way out from down town. Excellent service but it was mid afternoon so they weren't busy. Our group of four had cashew chicken, spicy eggplant, and basil curry with brown rice. Not a loser in the bunch. We had the feeling that anything we'd order would be very good.

Since moving to town I've been looking for good thai food, and after trying 6 other restaurants, this place is it!

From downtown to the Boise Town Square, Thai Cuisine has the best Thai food in the area. By far. It's cheaper than Mai Thai, but a little pricier than Bangkok and Chiang Mai, but well worth it. The portions are big and the quality is significantly better than anything else in Boise. The service, while not spectacular, is better than any other Thai restaurant in the area.

My mouth is burning, in the best way possible. Everyone should eat here. Best, best, best! Oh my God, the panang, drunken noodles, and spicy basil! So good!

  • Chad T.

Everything was bomb. I just had the stand bys, pad thai, drunken noodles, a couple of curries, but it was all very very good. It's my girlfriend's favorite Thai in the Boise area, and she knows her thai.

We ordered take out here - pad Thai and yellow curry. The staff was very friendly and accommodating towards gluten-free needs. The food was delish! (Bonus points for the name.)

This is some of the best Thai food in all of Boise. Fresh spring rolls and the dipping sauce are fantastic, as is everything else I have tried on the menu. Definitely a must do!!

  • Margaret R.

Delicious! I usually ask them to make it Thai spicy, because they tone it down for the typical American palate. This results in my going through several glasses of water though, so it's not for everyone! The decor is really kitschy-cool too. Best Thai in Boise!

  • Liz B.

Best Thai I have had. Authentic, delicious curry. Their lunch specials are amazing with soup, salad, AND your choice of a potsticker or spring roll. Love! And would go back again :)

The last couple of times I've been, the food has been bland, and what's not bland is too sweet. I'd pick the other Thai restaurants over this one now. Bummer!

Thai Cuisine is great if you are a fan of Thai food! The restaurant itself isn't the nicest place ever, but I eat out for the food and the food rarely disappoints. And its definitely the best Thai food in Boise. Although not the best Thai food I've ever had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place though.

Just OK.... we will keep looking for a Thai Place. GOOD: Food was hot. OK: Lots of talk about nice decor. Thought outside looked run down. Met with lots of sign, No Soliciting, need ID for Cash over $50, No checks, etc. Booth seats very hard, and there was nothing special about decor. BAD:Waitress was lousy, seemed to be upset to serve us. Soup was to salty, salad had 6 pieces of lettuce, thats a NEW RECORD for smallest salad. Prices are to high! Just not that good.

Little gem is right! I travel to Boise 4x per year and always stop here for Thai food! I've had the salmon entree, pad Thai and the panang curry and have loved them all! Panang curry is probably my favorite as it has the perfect amount of spice and aromatics! Bonus-it's next to my hotel off of 84!

I ordered the pad thai. Portions were ok. The rice noodles were something like I have ever seen. Just like spaghetti. The food smelled like a hot sweaty crotch. No lie on that one. I just didnt digg this place. Its over priced and if this is the best Thai food in Boise then you all need some new restaurants. The decor was cheap for high end food prices. I do come from Portland and probably have a different standard of nice restaurants and good food. -B

My husband and I use to go here all the time. We loved their Mongolian beef, minus the crunchy noodles that comes with it. After going their all the time, I don't think they like us ordering the same thing all the time. And I'm pretty sure they remembered who we were because we went quite often. But after that day, my husband and I got food poison. It wasn't a good day. I was so disappointed in them. We never went back and was sick for almost 3-4 days. I loved it there too, but gave up on it because I don't want to risk another food poisoning. It's not a wonderful feeling.

Yelped a thai place close to my daughters house as she wanted to take me for a quick early dinner and we both skipped lunch, she said she heard good things from her friends too! Waitress asked how we heard about them so I told her and she didn't know what YELP was so excited she told the owner and wisked off with my blackberry. We ordered a chicken satay honey wgich came with a cucumber salad 4 skewers so plenty to share and was moist and flavorfull. Neither of us felt like drinking so we asked for iced water which came promtly in nice glasses super fresh ice and a dish of lemon slices just cut, little things like that show class. They have a cut wishing house that you can add money too and overall the decorations were tasteful not tacky. Staff were super nice and it was very clean. Main dish drunken noodles with beef which we shared and devoured entirely. Total cost about $25 very good will go back for sure! They brought me mango ice cream as it was my birthday it tasted home made very creamy maybe had condensed milk in it? Could taste the fresh mango, big thumbs up!

Beautiful empty restaurant with fancy chairs and tables, but the food didn't measure up to the surroundings. This is authentic Thai just like Del Taco authentic Latin American cuisine. The curry tasted like peanut-butter and the stir fry noodles weren't sticky but greasy when it should have been the opposite. Diet coke tasted suspiciously sweet, so I guess even that wasn't great. Waitress was really nice and kept assuring us it was diet..... Kind of a shame, because this place could easily be transformed into a classy Asian restaurant.

Went to try this place over lunch, as I've heard very good reviews of it. Our waitress was very nice, and when we placed our orders, they come with soup/salad, and bun/roll. We ordered the vegetarian dishes, and our waitress advised us that the soup had chicken broth in it. I was very happy to be informed of that, and I made sure she got a good tip for being observant and considerate. The MerLion Noodle had the best noodles I've ever had, thin and just crispy enough. The Mussaman Curry was so sweet and delicious, with perfect cuts of potatoes and tofu. This place has taken the spot for my favorite Thai restaurant.

At first we were kinda skeptical about this place because their sign indicated that it was "genuine" Thai food . In our heads we were thinking "why would a restaurant want to outburst that their food is genuine?" - I don't know- we just wanted to test this place out because we were craving some other Asian dishes besides Vietnamese and Chinese food And so we did gave this place a little test drive and it was wonderful! We went around dinner time and once you walk in you can see many decors surrounding the restaurant. There was a good amount of people(families) that seem as if they were enjoying their dinner. I ordered Pad Thai (to be safe because I haven't tried Thai food here before) And That was very good! Portion was pretty much made for 2-3ppl. Food was Tasteful and spiced to my liking. (you can choose how spicy you want your food) the yellow curry was tasteful as well. The price is a little expensive to my liking but hey it was worth it :) I give this place a 5 star. =] This place is BOMB! haha

Just ok..def not spicy enough. I got the highest amount of stars and it was barely mild. I dont need it super spicy but I like to have it a bit of a bite!! I very much prefer Chiang Mai,Pad Thai House and Siam. I dont understand why this particular Thai place is so popular! Its mediocre at best! I have been there 2 or 3 times and always been disappointed!!!

My wife and I eat here fairly often, and it is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Boise. I agree that the booth seats are hard; but some of our Asian friends rate this as their choice for Thai in Boise.

After my husband and I got back from Thailand we were on our quest to find the best Thai food in Boise, and months and months of searching...we found it! Just the smell of our Pad Thai and Spicy Basil Chicken brought back memories of sitting on the beach at the resort on the island we stayed at, then the taste was exactly the same. I couldn't believe we found real Thai food in Boise!

I have been to this restaurant about 5 times over many months and the food has been very consistent and delicious. The service is a little slow when they are busy, but has been very good in general. The red and green curries are excellent and my favorite is the Panang curry. Don't miss this place if you are passing through. It is close to I84.
